This is the second time I’ve been to firebird ( it’s been a hit minute between visits ) but I can honestly say that today’s lunch was a gorgeous experience, and definitely worthy of 5 stars. We were greeted warmly from the moment we walked in. Dylan, who welcomed us through to our table, was totally across the menu and helped me with the vegan options. Super attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Our food ( and non alcoholic sour ) was divine! We started with the flat bread 🥵 umm, DEEE-LISH, and then moved onto an eggplant curry, morning glory and mushroom noodles. The food was fragrant, flavourful and portion sizes were solid. For us, the stand out dishes were the flat bread and the eggplant curry. We polished everything off, and felt satisfied. Thanks Dylan & team for a wonderful lunch experience that was full of great food, and really lovely hospitality. If you’re in the area, or have a group with vegan and meat eaters alike, firebird definitely has something for everyone with a gorgeous fit out to match. 10/10 recommend 🫰

Excellent venue. The place had a warm and buzzy vibe. Everything we ordered was excellent. Wonderful and well balanced flavours. Showed a lot of creativity in their dishes. The duck was amazing, I’ve never had it so soft and moist. Had very good guidance of the menu from our server, Alex. Service was very professional and friendly. The food came out quickly and well spaced. Our dining experience took us just under 2.30hrs. Highly recommend this restaurant. When the booking was made, it asked if there was a special occasion. I stated it was our Anniversary. It was a shame that there was no recognition of this on the evening.

We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary here and it was an amazing night. From the moment we stepping in we were greeted with a friendly smile. The staffs recommendations were spot on. Every dish was delicious and packed so much flavour. A few stand outs were the grilled scallops with calamansi butter and chive and the wood fired flatbread, whipped tofu, black garlic which was described to us as a crispy flatbread infused with flavours megoreng noodles. So Good! We will be defintley back to try more and for their $25 Wed chicken night. Thanks for a beautiful anniversary dinner.

Came here for the Wednesday special chicken night. Honestly one of the best deal you get out there. You get 1 chicken each and 2 sides to pick from for sharing. We got the papaya salad and wok tossed green to go with the chicken. The serving was quick and the waitress was attentive, they also gave great recommendations on the drinks. We really enjoyed them. The papaya salad was bit bland but very refreshing. The greens were great as a palate cleanse. The chicken was so flavourful and juicy, the portion was generous. The eggplant curry was good but it’s on the sweeter end, the eggplant was cooked very well and not gooey.

Came here for dinner and ordered four snacks, a main and a dessert: - Bun cha bite: the betel leaf added a strong leafy yet refreshing taste to balance the sweet and savoury honey glazed pork. It was topped with crispy pork fat which contrasted the soft vermicelli noodles. Probably didn't need the shredded lettuce as there was already a lot in one bite - Scotch quail egg: it was soft with a creamy yolk, coated with a crispy green rice puff, and paired with a side of salted duck egg relish which was decent; a bit of an acquired taste for me - Smoked lamb croquette: crumbed coating was thin and crispy, filled with tender pulled lamb which was flavourful and not gamey. The creamy cheese spread added richness while the pickled shallot and coriander added some acidity and fresh herb taste; my favourite out of the snacks - Grilled scallop: the size of the scallop was quite big and was cooked with calamansi butter giving it a rich zesty note which was quite taste - Grilled king prawns with broken rice: the prawns were butterflied and grilled with shellfish bisque which intensified the prawn flavour. This was paired with lemongrass sate broken rice flattened on a mini pan and cooked until very crispy. The chilli oil was fragrant and a little spicy. Highlight of the dish was the crispy texture of the broken rice; did get quite greasy and heavy towards the end - Hot + cold Vietnamese coffee: the contrast of the warm chocolate mousse and the cold condense milk parfait was pleasant. It was not too sweet, in fact the Vietnamese coffee which was infused with the chocolate mousse was nice and strong. Preferred if there was a bit more of the parfait and less of the brown rice puff at the bottom as there was too much crispiness which didn't complement the smooth texture of the parfait and mousse Overall it was a pretty good meal and great service from the friendly staffs.

Our first time here, we enjoyed the Wednesday Chicken night (such a good deal!!) We were served by Aoife (sorry unsure of spelling) and she was so lovely and attentive. Really tasty snacks before the chicken and lovely wine. Will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic dinner here at firebird. They are Asian fusion, everything tasted very nice, nothing felt over creative. The roasted duck was my absolute favourite, it's very tender and juicy inside but the outside is crispy. With the sauce, it paired perfectly. The crispy pork curry was so nice too, our fault we didn't order a white rice to have with it. The curry flavour was sooo good, I ended up putting the curry sauce on everything. The portion size was not big, so we didn't walk away with food coma. That said, they could consider increasing the portion size a bit, we ordered ~$100 per head food but didn't walk away full. The prawn rice was nice, but I could skip it next time. I guess I was expecting something else. Overall I super recommend them! I'll definitely come back :)

2025: First of all, I'd like to thank the staff at Firebird for being so patient and accommodating with our culinary diverse gang, offering substitutes for most dishes offered on their Premium Set Menu. Personally, I enjoyed all of what the set menu offered, with stand out dishes including the Snapper Tartare and the 14 Day Dry Aged Roast Duck. Service was impeccable, with adequate timing between dishes and palate cleansing. Hats off to Firebird. *****
