Went in today to celebrate my husband's birthday. Service was amazing our waiter was named John he was awesome with amazing/funny personality. Was first time there we enjoyed the food and portion sizes were well worth it. We will definitely be going back

Google
Our experience was amazing from beginning to end. Upon stepping into the restsurant our attention was immediately drawn to the stunning liquor display and quaint outside seating option. The overall ambience of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. I ordered the Colorado salad and my boyfriend had the Chilean Sea Bass. Neither meal disappointed.....absolutely delicious. Last but not least the service we received from our server, Jacob, was exceptional. He was attentative and kind. He took it upon himself to notice it was our anniversary and brought us a special dessert. We will definitely be back.

Google
I had a great time here, the service was excellent, our drinks were refilled or offered before they were even out, and the food was all really good. The lobster queso appetizer was amazing, served with chips, but we found out that the free bread goes even better in the queso. All of our entrees were great, and I specifically loved my side of Parmesan mashed potatoes, they were really good. We also got the chocolate cake to split and it was so rich and so big, and really good. I was overall very satisfied with my experience!

Google
Hello Firebird Grill, My husband and I recently ordered delivery from your Orange Village location. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs with a side of potatoes au gratin. While eating, I discovered something sharp in my food, which I thankfully noticed before swallowing. I did take photos of this and can provide them. I immediately called the restaurant to report the issue and asked to speak with a manager. I was connected with Kristen Elliott, who unfortunately was extremely rude and unprofessional. She repeatedly told me she had “more important things to do,” refused to provide me with the general manager’s email address, and would not copy me into any communication she claimed she would forward. When I expressed my concern as a pregnant woman who could have choked or been seriously harmed, she hung up on me without asking a single follow-up question. Please understand, my intention is not to damage your restaurant’s reputation. I would prefer to resolve this matter in the most professional way possible rather than turning to social media reviews or public posts. I’m asking for this message to be taken seriously, escalated to the appropriate leadership, and for someone to follow up with me directly. Thank you, and I look forward to your response.

Google
The food was excellent, service was ok but staff seemed kinda overworked. There were managers standing around and for how busy it was they should have been helping the staff, but no. I will have to go back on a non holiday and see if attitudes will be better.

Google
First time visit and it was an excellent experience. Menu has great options and the service from Diamond was top notch. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich with tater tots and requested to have the Java bbq sauce on the side. What a meal. Also got the drink Mint Condition mocktail. One of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. Would love to come back.

Google
Was a pretty good experience, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. We sat at the bar. Most of the food was good, but pretty average. The Philly cheese steak egg rolls were just okay, it didn't seem like they had any cheese in them as we expected. The Caesar dressing was unexpectedly kind of bland. I ordered the Cajun Ribeye, the meat itself seemed to have no seasoning on it, but the cajun butter was flavorful, I just didn't love the flavor. While the temperature was perfect, the steak was unfortunately not tender. For some reason the bartender didn't offer bread even though I saw other patrons with bread. The smoked wings were great, I would totally order those again. The carrots were wonderful, such a different dish, the bartender suggested them as a good choice and she was right. We loved them! The creme brulee cheesecake was great and I would definitely order that again as well. Overall, it was a good experience.

Google
Briana was our waitress today. She was pleasant, attentive and overall a very good waitress for our family. She made sure we had everything we needed. She frequently checked on us without being overbearing or intrusive. We tipped her very well for her wonderful service to us. We had a really nice time! Thanks Briana! :)

Yelp
The food was good, but the service was fantastic. I would definitely come back here just for the service. It was amazing. Her name was.Diona definitely asked for her. She's amazing.

Yelp
Beachwood location of this chain restaurant. We walked in with no Rez on a Wednesday night. No issue it was half full. Varied menu, meat centric. We had a burger and a BLT salad. Both really good. The entrees seem to be overpriced. My impression anyway. Nice service.

Yelp
Came here with friends after work with a reservation. We asked to sit at a table, but were placed in a booth. They stated they couldn't put a table for five. Ironically, the entire time we were there tables remained empty. We had a lobster queso shareable. It was bland and watery. I ordered the ahi tuna superfoods salad. The ahi tuna was overcooked. The swipe of sauce on the plate was tasty. For the price, the salad was disappointing due to the overcooked tuna. Our server was really good. This saved the score from being a two. Others thought their dishes were just ok. The location is good, but given other really good places in pine crest, I doubt I'll return.

Yelp
What started off as a regular birthday dinner turned into an amazing dinner night due to the excellent hospitality of the management staff and a particular waiter named Sandy. They went above and beyond for service and made it feel as if our dinner party was the epicenter of a film. The food was also good that night but the service carried!

Yelp
We bought a $400 gift card for our parent for Christmas with the intention of all 10 of us enjoying a nice evening together. We made reservations four weeks in advance for a table for 10 for 4:00 pm. on a Sunday. When we arrived, the only table they had available were two separate tables that comfortably sat four at each table. The tables were separated by at least 2 feet. So it was disappointing that we made reservations so far in advance, and were separated into two groups. We complained, but it didn't change anything. Our server was very attentive, but we didn't get bread or salads for at least an hour after sitting down. Our waiter did a great job considering the circumstances. The food at our table was very good... But my mother and father-in-law's 3 course meal was cold. Overall the food was very good ... so that helped, but this seemed like an overpriced Outback to me.

Yelp
Firebirds is our backup go to when we are staying in the Pinecrest area and can't decide where to go. Food is consistent and service is decent. This visit was no exception. The restaurant was pretty empty. Still, we sat in the bar area. Advantage of the bar area is that there are additional menu choices available that aren't available in the restaurant. Plus, you get your drinks quicker. We were disappointed in that one of the appetizers we ordered was not available. I got my usual Chicken Pasta dish. My wife got the combo special. Her steak was okay. A little undercooked for her preference. My dish was good. Finally, got the bill. The waiter had 2 issues. First, we were charged for the appetizer that was unavailable. And I was charged for an entree salad when I requested a side salad. I raised those items to the waiter and he took care of those items. Overall, a good place to go for dinners.

Tobi B.

Yelp
We had 6:30 reservations our food didn't come until close to 8:30. When it finally arrived it was under and over cooked and cold. This is inexcusable. The manager did comp the meal but not a place I'm anxious to return too
google avatar

Yelp
Food sub par. Over priced. I don't think they have changed the decor EVER and my service always sucks.

Yelp
I have yet to be disappointed with this restaurant. I love the look of the bar it's very colorful. Happy hour is an awesome deal although Iva only made it that early one time. The bartenders are great & make a really good double diamond martini. I'm terrible at names I think maybe Camilo (sorry if that's wrong) seems to always be working & is very attentive. The bartenders work together to take care of everyone sitting at the bar. The food is so yummy. My favorite is the grilled shrimp & strawberry salad which is my go to. Last night I had the wood grilled salmon & it was amazing with the regular mixed greens salad is which really good, it has candied pecans (mouth watering just thinking about it). I highly recommend giving it a try.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with my meal at Firebirds! I ordered the Roasted Garlic Sirloin with vegetables on the side, and it was cooked to perfection! The steak was perfect size, and the vegetables were extremely fresh. I would've preferred if the vegetables had been roasted, rather than barely steamed. For dessert, our table got the 5 Layer Lemon Cake and it was delicious! Very refreshing and not too sweet. The blueberries on the side were also a nice touch that helped contrast the sourness of the lemon. The staff was extremely friendly, and helped us with ordering. I'd recommend making a reservation, because after 7pm on a weeknight, the restaurant really filled up.

Yelp
Came in solo and ate dinner at the bar. The food is always great here, and the service was adequate. The atmoy is using very lively and can get loud but it was pretty low-key during my visit. I'm definitely be back for the Firebird's chicken pasta!
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Not bad. The pico wasn't really necessary. I was scared to do the charred carrots so I stuck with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Mashed potatoes were sooo good.
google avatar

Maricar G.

Yelp
Ordered the seared tuna superfood salad: bravo, yum and refreshing. Topped with a cilantro lime vinaigrette. Just an exquisite meal. Would definitely order again
google avatar

Traci R.

Yelp
Purchased a 3 course meal deal which came with soup or salad, an entree, and dessert. I got soup, a 10 oz sirloin which came with parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert I chose bread pudding. The soup was good, but my entree was not. The mashed potatoes were ok, the steak was overcooked and burnt and the asparagus looked pitiful. I send the entree back and told the manager I didn't want anything else. I also declined the dessert. To my surprise, I was presented with a check for the soup. I would have thought it would be comped, but oh well. Left there and ordered a pizza on the way home.

Yelp
Was here for a lunch-date with the wife. Slow service is the reason for the 4 stars. Bread was freshly baked, great texture (crunchy on the outside and moist and fluffy inside), didn't taste like much tho, same with the butter. Need some salt! My lunch was good, and for $15 it was a good deal. Sufficient amount of fish! The salad had too much dressing. I was wondering why the waitress asked if we wanted the dressing on the side. Next time (if there's a lunch next time), it will be on the side. Otherwise, wife got the BLT sandwich (overly toasted bread - lots of bacon tho) with Cesar salad (too much dressing - great croutons tho). MAYBE a next time. We just landed here because it was a Wednesday and Kitchen Social wasn't open yet.

Alexa R.

Yelp
I had the grilled tenderloin salad. It was outstanding! Would definitely recommend. The dressing was light and the tenderloin cooked perfectly.
google avatar

Sharon H.

Yelp
This was recommended by some coworkers while visiting Cleveland. First the customer service was awesome! Our waiter was on top of everything and truly need the menu and provided recommendations. Now my issue was the food (I had the steak and potato). My potato was too salty and my steak was not cooked right and was over seasoned. Now i will say regarding my friends the pasta and ribs were both a hit. The cilantro chicken was just okay. Until next review Kisses

Yelp
Food is quite good. Steak cooked perfectly. Salad was over-sauced, but what do you expect from a mid-level restaurant? Bar service quite sucks. She acted like it was my privilege to have her serve me. That's about it! #professionaltraveler

Yelp
Great food great service. The manager was so pleasant. Will most definitely return. Highly recommend the lobster queso dip!

Yelp
What a great place to have a filet mignon. Well decorated inside, ambience lighting, friendly staff. The only thing we do not like is the waiter kept try to give us a hint to leave so he can flip the table for potential incoming customers. It was a Wednesday evening, the place is 50% full. We thought this was un-professional. Did return the next night for another great dinner. We have a better waiter. Overall

Yelp
We had to wait 25 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. We were a party of 4 but were led to a table with 3 chairs, no silverware or napkins, and 4 appetizer plates which were not clean. The hostess begrudgingly got us a 4th chair. It took forever to get drinks and the complementary bread that had been promised (we finally had to ask). When we asked for silverware a pile of it was dropped on the table in front of us. There were no napkins so we asked for them. We were presented with a stack of paper cocktail napkins. I finally found someone who appeared to be a manager and asked for cloth napkins like everyone else had. He apologized and brought us new silverware rolls in cloth napkins. I will say the food was good and hot when it was finally delivered to us. But will never come back here again. Terrible customer service and what is worse is that no one other than the manager guy who told us he was visiting from PA to help with vacations seemed to care.

Yelp
Firebirds used to be a favorite for my wife and me, but our anniversary visit was a disaster. They served the wrong cut of steak, which had to be sent back twice because it was raw (first time) and rare (second time), both of our sides were undercooked too. No drink refills, and all we were offered was a $5 add-on salad comp. We ended up at Shake Shack after this nightmare meal. It's heartbreaking to see a once-great restaurant decline so badly.

Yelp
New Year's Eve party of 6. My husband and I got the 3 course meal and upgraded to a Filet. Service was just fine. No complaints. I started with a cup of soup, Southwest potato soup, excellent. My server said it wasn't spicy, but it was a little. I loved it. My husband got a blt salad which he really enjoyed with roasted garlic ranch dressing. We then got our bacon wrapped filets with a compound butter on top. Mine did not melt since my steak was barely warm. I didn't want to send it back and get it overcooked, even though it was supposed to be med, but was more medium rare. It was tender and delicious even being cold. I got asparagus that was ice cold and he got mixed vegetable that were ice cold and raw. Not sure how any restaurant can mess up vegetables but they found a way. He got the mashed and liked and I got the Southwest au gratin potatoes which were a little spicy but excellent. The bread served with the meal was very good also. For dessert he had creme brulee cheesecake and I had banana fosters bread pudding. Both were amazing. Yes I would go back, but I will have to refuse if my steak is cold again. Seating was nice, another couple got there before us and we're getting seated in a large booth and they knew to ask for a table which was great. Those big booths are fine for families, but not 6 adults, no thanks. I never knew about Pinecrest before and lived the area. It was higher prices then your other chain restaurants like outback, longhorn, and texas roadhouse. But the filets were a lot better quality.

Mike L.

Yelp
It's sad what people will settle for. In hindsight it's hard to believe the place was packed when we walked in.... We had seen the poor reviews but thought that we'd try it since we couldn't get in to another area restaurant. We ordered drinks but had to ask again for them when they hadn't arrived after 15 minutes. Our entrees arrived eventually, but they brought the wrong dish for my wife was and my burger was almost raw when I had asked for medium well. We noticed another table having to return their steaks that were cooked incorrectly. Steak and Shake down the way would have been a lot better, and the pasta was uninspired. Middling...... This place is maybe a slight notch above an Applebees or Outback, nothing more. Its only saving grace is the fact that it's located in stylish Pinecrest.

Yelp
I've been to Firebirds in other locations. This was consistent with past experience. They have great happy hour specials if you eat early like me. I had the strip steak with Parmesan mashed potatoes. It was perfectly cooked, big portions, and the potatoes tasted great. The steak was a little tougher than expected but, at the price point, I can't complain. The BLT side salad was great and they make good martinis. It's located in a shopping area and the atmosphere is very nice. I would definitely return!

Google U.

Yelp
This place had a 3.1 rating which was a bit suspect. But we found that a 2.5 would have been more appropriate. Wait staff was inattentive and food was mediocre.

Yelp
Dinner decent, dessert trash, service lacking. Was there with a party on Easter. Had the 3 course meal, the food was Applebee's quality... edible.. but the dessert... the creme brulee cheesecake was trash. It was neither actual cheesecake NOR creme brulee. It was awful. If you know what creme brulee is, you know it's not box refrigerator cheesecake that has been burned with a match on the top and edges. It's an actual dessert with a melted candied top. They tried to fool the patrons with their deception. The taste was of a wet ashtray. I saw the brownie sundae... lacking, they can't possibly have a dessert chef. Remove these items from your menu. Now, onto the service and staff. You know everyone makes mistakes, but In the service industry, it's how mistakes are corrected. The double and triple down of "I'm right and you the customer are wrong" only to be proven wrong, twice... was jaw dropping. Who argues a wrong entre order with a patron in a party of 10??? (I didn't hear you say ...) this isn't the fault of the customer. A simple, I'm sorry, let me correct this is ALL THAT is REQUIRED. And when management is asked to step in and fails to fix the issue, it becomes clear that customer service isn't what you'll get from this restaurant.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch in a Monday whist shopping. Now I'm Mondays many of the restaurants in Pinecrest are closed so we decided to try this one. Nice and clean inside including bar restaurant and restrooms. Service was attentive and friendly. I had the salmon and spinach salad with bacon and balsamic and I had it dressed. Salmon was cooked well a tick above medium Greens were fresh and well dressed. Hard boiled egg was perfect. Only annoyance was a few random stray bits of blue cheese. Bread was freshly baked and delicious. Iced tea was a good brew. Overall I'd say it's just about a 4.

Colleen D.

Yelp
We were in from out of town and the Hampton inn sent us over to this restaurant. The drinks were great and the menu and food items we selected were terrific. The wood fired steak ribeye was awesome! Great flavor and don't skimp - get the mushrooms and onions - so good and the garlic thyme butter. We will be back

Franki B.

Yelp
The server Andres was great. The ambience is beautiful like you would expect at a steakhouse. The New York strip was solid and they cooked it to perfection, medium rare like I like it. They put salt on the outside of the baked potato, which is always a good thing. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable steak, this is your place. I paid $34 plus tip. Much better than Outback but not as expensive as a 5 star. I would return.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night with some friends and the place was practically empty... that was the first red flag. We ordered a few appetizers including 2 orders of deviled eggs which were $17 a piece, they were on par with Applebees in terms of taste. I also ordered the ribs which literally I had to wait for an hour and a half to get (everyone else's food had arrived). I also ordered a Cesar salad which I never got. For a place to be this empty and for them to mess up my order this bad, the service sucks. We also ordered tiramisu for desert, well it took them 30 minutes to tell us that they were out of tiramisu after ordering it... But the cherry on top was when the bill came, it ended up $300. I was livid so I looked it over and they added some don julio shots and makers mark which none of us ever ordered. Got that taken off the bill but I wouldn't go back here even if the food was free and I don't recommend anyone else go back here. AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BILL as I think they added these to "pad" their tips and rip me off, because by the time our check came we were THE ONLY table here, so you couldn't even mix up the bill. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this place.

Diana T.

Yelp
Loved this place! My drink from the bar was perfect and the wood fired grilled salmon and fresh vegetables meal was great. Eryn, the server, was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely come back!

Suzanne M.

Yelp
I Ordered a 9oz filet with a salad. The salad was fabulous. The filet was over done and stringy. Waiter never asked how meal was or if I wanted a refill. This went in my phone as a not again. Disappointed as I am in this area often and was hoping for a good place to go back to. Mabey just a bad night. Ambiance was nice.

John H.

Yelp
On March 25, 2025, I took my daughter to lunch at Pinecrest Firebirds. I had the worst cheese burger that I had ever had. It was dry although I ordered rare. My daughters was not much better. I will never go back!
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
Food was really good. My steak was cooked perfectly. The service was really good. The ambiance was very nice. There was music but it was low enough to where we could have conversation with our group.

Mona R.

Yelp
First of all just wanted to state that the service was good! Unfortunately it is the food that was highly lacking in quality and flavor . . . go somewhere else!
google avatar

Greg F.

Yelp
Stopped in after a very long day onsite for business travel. Service was great my only complaint was the floors were almost dangerous slick. I was not the only one who thought so several people would warn members of their party when leaving or returning from the restroom. Menu was impressive lot of variety. However, wood fired grill had me wanting a steak. I chose the 16 oz ribeye and it was amazing. Now I'm usually not the one to order steak out. So glad I tried this one. The wood fire really matters . A tad past med rare but it was still very flavorful and tender. Also, tried a glass of their signature cab it paired nicely with the ribeye. My colleague talked me into splitting a carrot cake. Winner!!! Very moist and tons of flavor just the perfect amount of icing! If I'm back in the area I will stop by again for sure!!

Yelp
Had a fantastic brunch at Firebirds! Great vibes, delicious food, especially the French toast. Service was on point. Highly recommend!

Yelp
From the cocktails to the bread to the main dish, everything was excellent. The bread is almost like a pizza dough, but wow is it delicious! The Bloody Mary was excellent and the drink prices are reasonable. I ordered the fish tacos with grilled fish and they did not disappoint. The salsa topping was delicious and had just a bit of a kick. 3 tacos were very filling along with a side of steak fries that were done to perfection. My husband ordered the Salmon Benedict and he said it was really good. Comparable to some great restaurants on the Gulf of Mexico! The service was excellent. The server made sure we were comfortable, was super friendly and attentive. She refilled by our drinks often and checked on our progress just the right amount. The pace is NOT fast food but a great place to go and have a relaxing lunch break. Looking forward to coming back!

Kelly M.

Yelp
Food quality was not worth the price. REALLY bad service. We were there for 2 hrs- 1.5 of that spent waiting for drinks/food. I wanted to order espresso after eating but didn't want to be there another hour! Multiple tables were having issues. If visiting Pinecrest- Go Somewhere Else!! Ambiance inside literally felt like I was at a funeral.

Angela L.

Yelp
I visited Firebirds on Tuesday , July16,2024. I went for Happy Hour . Within an hour after leaving the restaurant, I became violently ill. I stayed that way for more than a day. I called and talked to Steve, the GM who politely dismissed me. The service was deplorable. There were 3 people working the bar and less than 8 patrons , yet we begged for service. The red head acted as if she was serving 100 people and was flustered for no apparent reason! The service has definitely diminished in recent years. The apparent food poisoning took the cake! I will never go back, period!

Yelp
This place is Applebees that gradto college. This is place looks somewhat upscale but it's an elevated Applebees. The food and cocktail were good for Applebee's with a degree, but overpriced IMO. I had Philly egg rolls as an appetizer, ribs, mashed potatoes, street corn, with fruit...the Applebee's special. Lol Again, the food was good but nothing to write home about. The restaurant offers great ambiance for social media pictures. The service was good for a Saturday evening. There was a little wait for my drink and entree but nothing that required bringing it to the attention of the server. The food was room temp when it arrived to my table so I'm unsure if it sat for a bit or the restaurant was cold. I think I would have had the same food quality experience as an "affordable" chain restaurant but the ambiance and decor made it feel a little fancier. I would recommend to try but I doubt if I would choose to return when there are other options in the area to try.

Yelp
Tried for the first time and enjoyed our experience. The service was great and timely. Especially liked the apps and the portion size was large - perfect for sharing. I tried the firebirds chicken pasta which had an Asiago cream sauce which was flavorful. Worth a visit!

Yelp
I just had the best service from Logan!!! Keep up the good work. He paid attention to our needs, very polite and so welcoming.
google avatar

Yelp
By far one of the worst experiences in a long time. The host was rude to begin with telling us we need a reservation as we can see most of the restaurant was empty. He then proceeded to look around as if he couldn't find a table. We came in at dinner time and then when we saw how slow the service was and the fact that we felt like the server abandoned our table we decided to just order apps and leave. The food was sub-par and we could tell around us that other customers were having issues with the service too. We won't be back for a while.

Yelp
First time going here for Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day. Brunch was delicious, I got the Grilled Salmon Benedict. It was really good. My wife got the Crab Cakes and Eggs. Which she loved. Everything came out piping hot, and tasted fresh. The bill for 4 people at brunch was really expensive. 4 mains, I appetizer, 1 mixed drink, 4 ice teas... almost $200. Not to mention I couldn't figure out what I was getting charged for. I've been to several restaurants, and this bill completely confused me. If I was to grade this on the food alone, I'd give 4.5 stars. The service was OK, the bill was expensive and confusing. I probably won't be back.

Michael M.

Yelp
1. no one up front to acknowledge arrival. 2. we had an open table reservation 3. waited 15 minutes at our table / no on stopped by - we left. This was unfortunate as we were looking forward to a new restaurant for us. We can't say we had bad service as received no service to rate.
google avatar

Lin H.

Yelp
Upon entering, the hostess was not pleasant at all. It actually wasn't until I was standing 1 foot away from her that she even bother looking up to acknowledge me. So my visit was not off to a great start! Not that that deterred me because sometimes things just happen. She also didn't actually seat us... I think a waiter did. I only came for like a quick light snack before a late night dinner I had. So I ended up only ordering the ranch ring and artichoke lobster dip from the appetizer menu. They were prepared very nicely! I especially like the batter they used on the onion rings. Though neither of the appetizers had enough dipping sauce to complete the entire dish. I ate two onion rings plain, and we had a plate full of chips left over. I would liken the food experience too similar of like a Cheesecake Factory. Good, but was it uniquely something special? Not so much. Our waiter was chill, no complaints or praises there. When we were leaving, no one even acknowledged us or said goodbye. Which was strange and I didn't know was something so common until it didn't even happen. Again the hostess didn't even bother looking up to aknowledge us. I'm not totally convinced she likes her job honestly.
