Yelp
Located inside Hotel Washington. It's an easy reasturant alternative to stop in after a busy day in the capital.
I ate here twice. But my main incentive to do so, is they offered a $15 dollar voucher to use only for Fireclay upon check-in. Nice way to lock in guests, I suppose, lol.
Food - On my first visit, I had the crab cake sandwich. Comes with fries. Well seasoned crab cake. But it's a very skinny patty for the cost. The second time around, I had the burger, and it also came with fries, medium well. It was juicy and is double meat, so it's pretty filling. The cocktail menu is very limited. There are only 3 drinks on it. Luckily, it's an open bar, and they can make any cocktail. They also have a large wine/beer selection. That seems to be more of the priority. My house Rita I ordered was fine, minus the price $22, yikes.
Service - I had the same server both times, Youseff. He was efficient enough, not much small talk, but I was fine with this. And he honored my voucher.
They don't have a happy hour.
