Had a great experience here. Guy explained to me the dough they have is not like Many other places, such as no yeast and they pull from a starter batch. Anyways I ordered a calzone he stretched the dough in front of me piled on the toppings, and 5 min later I had a very large meal ahead of me. I was nervous about the low cook time but it was on point. My only issue is the little cup of marinara is just not enough to accompany such a large platter... but all in all it's a cool place with good food and it could be a whole vibe here...

You know when you come across that place that makes you think “I wanna know more about it” Hero Park and Fired Pizza is that for many reasons… The imagination of having a PettyCoat Junction water tower at the entrance and a T-Rex atop the Fired Pizza kitchen eating pizza. It just screams fun and enjoyment. We tried the Cheese, Pepperoni & Hatch Chile pizza and it was super…the crust has a yummy charred sourdough flavor. Can’t wait to enjoy a some music on the open air stage and watch the kiddos and pups playing in Hero’s Park too.

We had their pizza rolls, and they were amazing! The staff was professional, and food came out quickly. They have two outdoor seating areas-one is turf and covered. The other is covered and by their awesome playground! The perfect spot for yummy pizza as a fam ❤️

Always a good time here! Great atmosphere and tasty pizza options. Something for everyone! Even put half of a pizza without cheese since I'm vegan.

Omgosh!! DELISH. The sauce tasty, the crust perfect, the ingredients fresh and plentiful. We pass this pizza trailer with its outdoor seating often and finally decided to stop. We didn't know what to expect and are super impressed! Hubby and I ate making audible sounds of pizza pleasure! Can't wait to try ther other menu items. Highly recommend!

Google
Fantastic shaded, outdoor venue featuring tasty wood fired pizza’s, calzones, cool drinks & more! We enjoyed a great band called the Love Vandals who performed at just the right sound level. There is also a wonderful playground for the kids! Fabulous, relaxing park for adults & families. I highly suggest visiting Hero Park or ordering Fired Pizza. They also deliver their pizza & calzones within a 7 mile radius. I heard a yummy Mediterranean salad will be added to the menu as well. They have quite a few picnic tables, but you can also bring your favorite lawn chair. Added bonus, leashed dog friendly. L❤️VE Hero Park & Fired Pizza! I shall return with more friends!

Google
This place fires people for having mental health disabilities. The pizza isn't special. There's so many other pizza places with astronomically better tasting pizzas.

I try to support local businesses & have ordered pizzas from here several times in last couple of years but was very frustrated when I ordered on Friday night at 6:25pm & confirmation said they’d be ready the next day at non!! Website said they’d be open until 7pm. I called & was told they were closing at 6:30pm tonight. I had already ordered so I rushed over to pick up only to find that gate was closed! Pizza still not ready! Good pizza but very frustrating experience tonight…

Yelp
This place fires staff for disabilities. I guess the owner hasn't heard of the ADA. As for the pizza, it's nothing special. The pepperonis didn't have much flavor and the jalepenos were more sweet than spicy. Any other pizza place would be better than this place.

Yelp
So I looked up this joint on Yelp because I pass by it often and thought I'd give it a shot. I ultimately ended up on their website and was instructed to "Call In Order". No problemo. A not so polite gentleman answered and when I requested to place an order for pickup, he not so politely responded with, "We don't take orders over the phone. You have to order online." Ok. Awesome. Thanks. So I ordered and went to go pick up. The food truck/trailer is located next to a cool little park with picnic tables and what looked like a space for live music. I was then greeted by the guy who I could only assume was the same ray of sunshine who answered the phone. I let him know I was there for pickup, he handed me my order, and I left. The pizza was just ok, and "just ok" is not a good thing when there's pizza joints on almost every corner. In summary, I'm willing to give this place another shot because maybe I caught them on a bad day, and the atmosphere seems legit. We soon, shall see. Cheers.

Yelp
Pizza is solid. Love the flavors and crust. Perfect size too. Staff super friendly and will make a kids pizza for you for free. Pizza rolls could've been better though. Not sure what's missing, oil, cheese, seasoning? Not as good as pinthouse or double Dave's.

Yelp
Amazing pizza! i do not usually eat pizza, but i was hungry. I was not disappointed. Coming from the north (NY 24 years ago) I was not sure until I ate the pizza. I would highly recommend this pizza. I especially love the trolly added some atmosphere. I had the pepperoni pizza but would love to try other kinds.

Yelp
Good service via phone which is reason for 3. I've never had a pizza with red sauce on top of it and not on the crust. It's supposed to have mushrooms and saw zero!

Yelp
We have been here several times, they often have a Beatles cover band that is very talented and a joy to hear. They have had a couple other very talented live performers as well. If you need gluten free pizza, you have to call ahead and ask for it, as they don't always have gluten free available but the times I've gotten to eat the pizza it's been pretty good. Fun set up, awesome that it has a play area and sometimes a cliff dive blow up for the little ones. We've also been when the ice cream and shaved ice stand was there and both the ice cream and shaved ice were a very nice treat and the girl working the window was nice. Their hours and days they're open are a little odd and the first few times we went, the staff was very nice and did a great job. However, we have been back a few times since where the staff is just sort of gathering around talking and or riding around on golf carts and we stood by the window, waiting for someone to come take our order for a long time. A couple of times, the staff members even saw me standing there and couldn't be bothered to come take my order, so I just sat back down and waited until they felt like coming back to the window. A bit annoying, that's my main reason for leaving a star off. I've seen that happen to other people as well, if you're just talking and goofing off, don't ignore your customers. Still a neat place, I wish them well.

Yelp
Don't do slices, only whole pizzas.Don't believe the ads. Otherwise looks like nice outside place.

Yelp
Grand opening of this cute food truck was tonight! They are located right next to Hitmaker Brewery which is very convenient. For tonight's grand opening they had a Beatles band playing and enforced social distancing for people setting up lawn chairs. The stage is a container truck stage on wheels, so it looks like they could be planning more live music and concerts in the future. Nice grassy area to bring your own chairs and a turf area with some picnic tables and room to dance. Grab some beers from Hitmaker and enjoy a pizza outside. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The pizza has room for improvement. Very soggy in the middle. With a name like 'fired pizzas' you would anticipate and expect some crispness on the crust. That being said, the flavor of the toppings was very good. Tips for owners: offer some paper plates (it's hard to eat soft Pizza on a napkin). Also, see if there's some way you can dim the lights on the food truck as well as around the stage. They are very very bright spotlights that are shining directly into your customer's eyes. Also, if you are going to continue to have live music it is impossible to hear your number called out. Maybe look into a texting or buzzer system so customers know when their pizza order is ready?

Yelp
Great pizza! We had two pizzas. Fajita BBQ beef and Hulk Beast (veggie pizza) both were delicious! Also the spot it's pretty comfortable outdoor sitting with a very clean setting. Definitely a family place. Customer service is awesome too! Oh.. and did I mentioned that there's a brewery next door!? Even better!

John G.

Yelp

Yelp
The perfect pizza spot! Delicious food, wonderful service! We stopped in on our way home because we could let our pups out to stretch... Great find! We had a classic pepperoni and added jalapeños on 1/2. We also shared the garden salad with ranch dressing. It took about 15-20min to get our food which was made fresh and served HOT! The pizza was delicious and was definitely made fresh. No reheated/heat lamp flavors here! The salad was crisp and veggies were cut nicely (I dislike giant chunks in my salad). The young man taking orders was very nice and offered options we could do for our shared pizza. He gave us plenty of napkins, silverware, crushed pepper, etc... He even offered a bowl of water for our pups! There's plenty of ahaded outdoor seating as well. It was a great stop to break from a long drive. There's a brewery across from the pizza place if you're hankering for a cold beer. Overall a great experience! I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying a slice! You'll definitely enjoy it!

Yelp
Super impressed with the pizzas coming out of this place right now. They use a custom built wood oven, and you can really taste it. The fajita barbecue was delicious, as was the vegetarian. We only tried pizzas, but the crust was just right, toppings were just enough, I can't really say much more other than two thumbs up for sure.

Yelp
Yummy to my tummy!!! Had the pepperoni & Jalepeno and it was simply the bomb!!! Definitely will be back.

Yelp
OMG! Everything about this pizza was great! Crust was soft, tasty and semi-chewy. It was seasoned well. Excellent pizza sauce. I had a pep and jalapeños. Not sure what type they used but the jalapeños had a little kick to them. Park grounds where this truck is located is large and well maintained with nice picnic tables to enjoy your meal. Will be visiting frequently.

Yelp
As someone born and raised between milwaukee and Chicago my standards for pizza are quite high. Easily one of top two places I've had in Austin. Great dough and quality cheese. The smoked sausage is a nice Texas addition.

Mark M.

Yelp
Fantastic pizzas, had a large pepperoni from the place and was happily surprised at the high quality of the pizza. The crust is amazing and some of the best crust I've had on a pizza

Yelp
Stopped by on Saturday afternoon. Pizza was great, atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. Opportunities for playing cornhole, and other laid back family activities while enjoying your pizza and the scenery. Hitmaker brewing is next door so you can enjoy a good pint (or two) as well.

Yelp
Wonderful tasty pizza from food trailer. Pleasant atmosphere with cozy outside seating and music. I am told by owner that live music is in the plans.
