Firefly Grille

Alan was our server and he looked after us and made us feel at home. He made such amazing recommendations and it was all good. Definitely a must visit for anyone coming to Nashville! Must try the caramel fudge cake!

Enjoyed a very tasty lunch here. A couple of friends and I arrived around 1230pm and were seated immediately. Our server Laura took our drink orders after we had been seated for over 10 minutes and then took awhile to bring us our drinks. When she returned to take our food order, she did apologize for the delay in serving us. There were several groups celebrating birthdays. Once our food arrived, I will say the wait was worth it. I ordered a house salad and white cheddar and goat gouda mac and cheese.

What a weird spot! The food was unique with a seasonal menu. The flavors seemed to be Asian inspired. I got a friend chicken Asian sandwich with a lovely cilantro aioli. I would take a crew back to try more menu items. Our team enjoyed it. The decor is all over the place and dark with a cool different atemosphere. Only 4 stars since the service didn't seem to be really engaged. We had accurate orders though with timely service.

Our family of five made a last minute reservation here recently. I have had lunch here periodically, but it had been years since we had dinner there. We were seated quickly and had a server show up immediately to start drinks and apps for us. We had two apps, five entrees and two desserts. It was all delicious and the only thing we got a to go box for was the giant pork chop my son couldn't finish. (We forgot that by the way and the host ran out to the parking lot to make sure we took it!) Firefly Grille is a little odd because the decor looks like Mardi Gras and Chinese New Year and Christmas had a baby, but the food is refined and elevated. We will definitely go back!

Really cool looking restaurant with an awesome quirky decor. The staff was very friendly and the menu items, while limited, all looked delicious. I had their burger and it was very very good. Would not hesitate to go back next time I visit Nashville

We came to the Firefly Grill by chance. I took it as a good sign that they have beds of herbs and onions growing on the grounds. We were not disappointed. I tried the French Onion soup with house made beef marrow - amazingly rich and delicious, with a kick of heat. My husband had the Thai Pizza, which was also great. People dining with us were also really pleased. My gluten intolerance was accommodated. Dessert selection was broad and inventive. Quality of food was matched by outstanding service. Our server, Brandon (?) or Brendan, was so thoughtful - assertive when we needed direction, patient with my son's occasional immature comment, discretely checking in frequently about what we might need. All the people working there seemed happy and proud to be a part of the place. If you are looking for a place that truly feels like a family welcoming you into their labor of love, the Firefly Grill is worth a visit. If I could give Michelin stars, this place would have my vote.

I have had many wonderful meals here. It was the top restaurant choice of my wife and I for years. We moved out of Nashville 3 years ago. However, we had the chance to eat there tonight for the first time in years, and it was laughable. There was too much wrong with the food to go into. I would like to say, though, that the service, as well as the overall front of house hospitality was impeccable, as always.

How did I not know about this place sooner?! A hidden gem in Green Hills. The staff was excellent with service which beat out most nights in Nashville. I felt right at home and welcomed for a perfect end of the week relaxing dinner. The menu is hand written and seasonal, unique in it's own right. The decor makes you think casual while the menu and selection is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If you are looking for a unique specialty cocktail ask your server for direction and you can't go wrong.
