Went and caught a live show!! It was Jerry’s Birthday, so we wanted to support a local artist!! Great space to hang out, relax and enjoy a beverage. Non alcoholic beverages are available as well!! Tween/Teen friendly.

Jake N.

Google
Snug brewery nestled right behind Sum Bar. Plenty of indoor & outdoor patio seating (which I believe they host live music some nights). I had to go with their new release 'Pool Honey' - a fresh peach milkshake IPA. It was better than I had anticipated! Not too sweet, just as I was hoping. My fiance ordered Ginger's Revenge - Hibiscus Lavender hard ginger beer. Just the one sip I had (only bit she'd surrender) was sweet & refreshing. Fireforge had an extensive list of beers broken down by categories best suited for your taste: light & refreshing, the hop zone, sour/tart/funky, malty goodness, the dark side, or NA. If you're not settled on your preferences yet, their staff seemed super knowledgeable, some holding cicerone certifications. Plenty of good brew & NA options to be savored here. Now, I didn't order food while visiting but no amount of beer could stop me from eyeing the next table's brisket Reuben! That was a masterpiece. It is assumed that the rest of their menu is of equal quality. I will be back for that sandwich... I will be back

Google
Great brewery! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have a lot of options to chose from from bear to ciders and other drinks.. They offer flights of 4. Great vibe at the brewery.

Michelle E.

Google
Amazing brewery with a wide selection of various beers available on tap. They also have a nice selection of canned beers available for purchase. Their food was absolutely amazing. The brisket Ruben was off the chain delicious. The indoor atmosphere is cozy and rustic with extremely clean bathrooms. The outdoor space was big and numerous places available to sit and eat. They also dog friendly and we saw a few dogs hanging out while their owners enjoyed a wonderful day in the beer garden. The bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They also have a few different sizes of beer available on tap as well which is nice for those who just want a 5oz beer.

Google
Such a great spot in Greenville, SC!!!! Great beer and helpful staff! Jordan and Taylor were our bartenders and they were so fun! We love hazy IPAs and we loved pink boots and John Hopcock. We also loved the Tasmanian devil Belgian triple. The smoked trout dip was a perfect pairing!

Michael K.

Google
Food and service was great, dog friendly outside area with plenty of seating. Brisket Reuben was fantastic and the pimento cheese and IPA mustard that came with the toasted pretzel was amazing. I don’t drink but I’ve heard their beer is incredible and they’ve won a ton of awards

Google
Amazing selection, great food. Love the decor and the staff is always nice! Kim helped us yesterday and even though we had a lot of questions about beer he was patient, kind, knowledgeable and made the experience memorable!

Jessie G.

Google
Awesome spot! The beer list is super solid—lots of variety and everything tastes fresh. The staff is friendly and quick to help you find something you’ll like. Dean always helps me to find the best beer and keeps me up to date on the newest releases. Chill atmosphere, great for hanging out with friends, and the food hits the spot. Have been coming here for 7 years and a place I will continue to come!

Yelp
I have always had the strong opinion of if a brewery has good beer they don't have good food. If they have good food, their beer sucks. WELL Fireforge proved me wrong and set themselves apart. We had the pickle platter, Reuben, and studio fifty forge. Although I'm not big on Reuben's my boyfriend said it was one of his top Reuben's and that man orders Reuben's on the regular. The pickle party was delicious. Not sure what they have in their brine but I would purchase again and again. The studio fifty forge was delicious. The only thing I would change is real bacon and not the microwaveable. Even though it was the microwave bacon it was still heated to be crispy. Huge beer selections and friendly staff. PLENTY of outdoor and indoor seating. Parking validation is also available. It might be had to find parking during busier times, but would still go again and recommend to others.

Yelp
Great food and beer! Started out here before heading downtown for some live music. We had beer and the most AMAZING grilled cheese I think i've ever had. It was so nice to find a local brewery with good beer AND good food. The next day we needed a snack, so stopped by and picked up a to-go beer and their pretzels with pimento cheese - yum! We enjoyed these back at our hotel poolside. It was the perfect vacation lunch.

Yelp
Great beers to choose from, super nice outdoor patio space, convenient parking, and a nice indoor space (closable garage doors if needed) with a good TV/screens for watching sporting events. Great place to stop for adults and families alike!

Yelp
A pleasant evening was spent with a beer in the corner of Fireforge, ending my workday's emails and then writing a Yelp review or two before heading on to explore some more of Greenville. A warm and welcoming space with adults and kids enjoying their time together. Inside and outside seating. Outside has both umbrellas and heaters. They have lots of different beer options - I settled on the "Day On the Lake" which was a tasty German-styled Pilsner. A little cloudy but very crushable. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking if you can find it. [Review 250 of 2025 - 1270 in South Carolina - 23814 overall]

Yelp
Amazing. The beer, the friendly/insightful staff, and to top off; the phenomenal food. Literally nothing here misses... WILL be back without a doubt. A must if you like any of the above.

Yelp
This is my go to brewery I always go to whenever I'm in Downtown Greenville. Great beer , food and wonderful southern hospitality. The locals and staff are extremely friendly and inviting. They also have great live acoustic entertainment a few times during the week. It's a laidback and cozy atmosphere. I'll be back there next April.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved this place. Definitely worth a visit! My husband and I each had a flight and enjoyed the atmosphere

Yelp
This place has an excellent selection of crafts. My favorite would be Rex quando. What I really like is what the Irish call a snake bite, some people will say it's a black velvet. Basically it's a stout with a cider. And I created one here with the apple cider. It was very good. Excellent. Just a very comforting non-uptight place to chill and have a brewski.
google avatar

Karen B.

Yelp
Nice craft beers with a fun venue. Servers ready to help. Lots of fun places to sit. We enjoyed the pretzel and the smoked pastrami sandwich. Definitely would recco

Yelp
Fireforge has been a great go to brewery for us. The owners and the staff are all great and give friendly service. The food, especially their grilled cheese sandwich is out of this world. Ambiance - there is usually something great going on like a live band or a celebration. They are also part of the Brewmiceter Hops Hunt so they have a felt mouse hidden at their location. It is a definite must visit.

Yelp
The one thing I noticed about in and around Greenville is all the catchy names for businesses and now catchy names for beers. We dropped by here to pre-game before a Swamp Rabbits game at the Well. Our bartender was welcoming and fun to chat with. After perusing the menu I ended up with a John Hopcock which was a hazy New England style IPA. The beer itself had a bit of clarity and tasted like it could've bordered a farmhouse ale. Wasn't feeling like a sandwich so I grabbed a pretzel and that certainly did the trick. Wish we had more time here cause with beer names like Salute your Schwarz and Perlin's Ghost Pepper Ale, there is bound to be more to quench my beer palette. Great place to pre-game, game or post game celebration. Whether visiting from out of town or a local, definitely a great spot to hang out!
google avatar

Nate N.

Yelp
Friendly & Knowledgeable staff complement a full showcase of beer varietals, and after 3 flights, there wasn't one beer that failed to impress!! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Def will be back!
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Great space, great service, great beer, great food. The Hefeweizen was excellent if you like a light, easy drinking beer. The roasted squash and Gruyère sandwich was very good and the squash did not overpower the sandwich. Loved the pretzel with pimento cheese. My fellow diner said the brisket Rueben was excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
First time there and went to the Polish festival. Being from NWPA and a Polish upbringing the festival was top-notch! The sausage and pierogies were great, as were their many beers. The Polka Party Pilsner was great, as were the many other ones I tried. The music selections were great as well. Unfortunately, it rained for the better part of the beginning of it, then cleared up and was great. I just happened to be in town visiting, and it was perfect timing.
google avatar

Chip D.

Yelp
Hand's down, the best beer in Greenville. Small food menu but everything we have tried is really good. Sandwiches are excellent. Really good atmosphere for live music. The staff do a great job as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Fireforge has an array of beers and ample seating, those two things right there are a huge draw if you're in downtown Greenville and without a car! We stopped here before a hockey game and it was a solid place to pregame. I can't remember the names of all the beers in my flight but IPA and dare I say, sweet tea beer were delicious. Beers were pricey and this is someone coming from Colorado where beer tends to be a little pricier at breweries. Idk, I just thought it was going to be a little cheaper. They have food options but they were sparse. We settled on pretzels with pimento and mustard, it was good but nothing memorable. I would definitely come for the location but don't see myself stopping here again if I'm in Greenville, will definitely try out some other breweries.
google avatar

Karley M.

Yelp
This brewery checked all the boxes. Friendly staff, laid back ambience with indoor and outdoor seating and most importantly great beer. My husband and I both enjoyed the NE Hazy IPA. The table next to us got food and it looked delicious too. I'd go back here in an instant!!
google avatar

Robert W.

Yelp
Large selection of great craft brews. There was a great bbq and great food choices when we were there and a great live band! Highway 25. Check it out
google avatar

Yelp
Great Brewery in Greenville for sure! We had several flights to try all the beer! The smoked strawberry shortcake with goat cheese whipped cream was to die for! It was a dessert special that weekend. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will come back for sure!
google avatar

Allison B.

Yelp
Awesome place to hang out and drink a beer! Staff was super friendly and gave us some recommendations - we got the Pool Honey's Peach Milkshake Beer, Raspberry Açaí Sour Ale, and a sparkling lemonade. The pool honey's peach milkshake beer was a really light and refreshing summer beer, but it was hard to taste the peach or vanilla that was added as flavor. Nevertheless, really tasteful and drinkable! The raspberry açaí sour ale was also quite flavorful, but tasted more like açaí than raspberry - just very fruity tasting overall. Finally, the sparkling lemonade was refreshing and hit the spot when you're not feeling like drinking alcohol. Most of the sitting area is outside with string lights hanging all over the property. There are umbrellas over the outside tables, but it will get super hot/sunny at the tables on a clear summer day, so make sure to bring some sunglasses. Also dog and kid friendly which is a huge plus!

Seth W.

Yelp
First time here, dropped in for a few pints and some food. Definitely not disappointed. Cool space with a comfortable tap room, Biergarten and another large inside space with few large TV's. Nice offering of fresh craft draft, food was very good as well. Service was great, shout out to Kim for making our experience even better.
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
Great service and the beer is excellent. Food is worthwhile as well! We had tasters of crumble, devil, sophisticated, crumblin sage, santo, hopcock, punch up. All great and would order a pint next time of any and all of them.... The food we had the pulled pork plate. Not greasy which is a pleasant surprise. I will comeback eventually.
google avatar

Thomas H.

Yelp
This is a jewel in Greenville. A lot of great brews, great staff, and occasional live music. Never had a bad time here. Try the John Hopcock, but get a flight to try them all.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
It was a rainy Saturday in Greenville so we decided on a brewery! We chose Fireforge bc of its unique container style and overall vibe. I loved the variety of beers you hv to choose from and the inside had plenty of places to sit. The outside area is also super cute. The staff was nice and offered samples and help if needed.
google avatar

Valerie L.

Yelp
We stopped in on a weekend we stayed in town. We had passed by a couple times before, but usually go for cheesesteaks when we are in Greenville. The beers were tasty. I usually have cider, but I found one that was really yummy. We also REALLY enjoyed our sandwiches. Will definitely stop in again sometime. Service was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating and outdoor heaters as well.
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
Fireforge has an awesome beer selection. There really is something for every palate! I've been here twice and each time I have enjoyed the beer. If you love variety like me, a beer flight is the way to go. If I lived in Greenville, this would definitely be a go-to for me.
google avatar

Brad H.

Yelp
Amazing beer. We tried a number of samples and picked four for a flight. The Quad Belgian was great with lots of malt and a smooth finish . The Belgian Tripel had just a hint of bitterness from hops that were a bit astringent, but still not bad. Their sour was excellent with just the right amount of sourness the last beer was a Saison that was very true to style. Very easy to drink. We had a charcuterie board that was superb. ...beef, several cheese selections, some uncured salami, warm bread. Simply good. They are very Covid careful. There is a rock on each table. Red on one side and Green on the other. When you sit they turn your rock to the red side. When they clean they set it to green. Nice folks. Good brewery ambiance. Lots of outdoor seating. These folks are good brewers who know how to make good beer. We have already invited friend to come back.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Didn't have much time to explore Greenville but we came across this brewery. The ambiance was awesome with a huge outdoor area. Bartender was super nice and helpful with a selection. The beer was good (NE IPA) and price seemed average for the area ($18 and some change for two pints). Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Stopped here while seeing the kids and doing some Christmas shopping. Fun brewery with a very good and diverse beer list. I went with the John Hopcock hazy IPA and it was fantastic. Was in a party of 4 and we all enjoyed our beers. One ordered a Hefeweizen, one the pecan ale and one ordered the gose and everything was great. Even the food delivered. I ordered the turkey with kimchi and I'll put it up against any sandwich in Greenville. The bread was crisped on a griddle or in a press and the kimchi was a perfect complement to the turkey, adding tang and crunch. We also ordered a couple of the grilled cheese sandwiches and the pretzels. The menu is small, but what they do, they do really well. The food, beer and atmosphere led to a great experience

Nicole R.

Yelp
Very personal and professional service. Answered all of my beer questions with patience. The Brisket Ruben was the Best I've ever had!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Took a Saturday road trip here, best decision ever. I visit a lot of breweries and it's not often we visit one and walk away thinking they scored 100% accross the board. This spot was truly a winner. Beer selection was great, the clean disticint flavor, temperature and drinking experience of the beer was superior. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable about their beer and how it was brewed. We also ordered food. The beer pretzels were banging...chicken salad sliders could use some of the flavor enginuity like the beer, too bland. The facility is well kept, clean and big bathroom facilities to make room for more beer. The outdoor seating and heaters were a nice feature. Limited parking so you may need to park and walk to this corner property.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
This is the best brewery in Greenville! Amazing food, excellent beer and a badass ambience. We always have a blast anytime we go and love those rotating menu of delicious sandwiches and apps! Fireforge never disappoints
google avatar

Amod G.

Yelp
Fireforge Crafted Beer is a brewery with a variety of beer options, and a charming atmosphere with limited seating. I tried their grilled cheese sandwich and it was cheesy and buttery and was accompanied by a sweet sauce that paired well with it. However, I was let down by the pretzel. Unfortunately, the pretzel at Fireforge was overcooked, resulting in a dry and tough texture, and lacked the saltiness that is typically associated with a traditional pretzel. For beer I had buttery beans and that was so smooth. I loved the beer. Overall Fireforge was pleasant and the service was good, it is a nice spot for beer enthusiasts.
google avatar

Randy R.

Yelp
Great Place for BINGO & BEER! Love the beer and food. Great outdoors space! Wonderful staff.
google avatar

Rebekah M.

Yelp
Let's celebrate this birthday!! This place is awesome! Great chill vibe, outdoor patio with doggos everywhere, and amazing beer!! Try the pretzels!!

CL S.

Yelp
Fireforge is a true gem in Greenville! This locally owned brewery, run by a husband-and-wife team, crafts exceptional beer you can only enjoy here. I remember their OG grilled cheese and pretzel, but their food menu has totally evolved, complementing the beer perfectly (The grilled cheese is a masterpiece). My husband loves their BLT! Support local and enjoy their unique, small-batch creations! I also love the fact that they carry NA options too. A+ service from the crew always!! Bingo night is a blast!!!

Katie P.

Yelp
Fireforge is our Greenville GO TO! If you want the best beer, live music and people, this is the spot. Laid back and super friendly service...it's a great place to hang out with friends and family. They also have great sandwiches and snacks. :) Creativity is fully present! I love how they have a cozy couch lounge and so much personality. I feel like I visit many modern breweries that feel a little 'cold' and are not as inviting. Keep it up, Fireforge! We will see you soon!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Loved the beer selection here, a great variety of brews with fun seasonal flavors. I ordered the flight of four so I could try a few standouts on the menu. Loved all four! I had the Luz strong golden ale with honey, Spice is Right pumpkin ale, Salty Socialite gose with cucumber, and Bordello with cherry and ghost peppers, talk about unique! All wonderfully balanced and fun to enjoy. They also have cider, wine, mead, and non-alcoholic sodas! The service was wonderful, lots of friendly faces happy to teach you about the beers and help you decide. The atmosphere is really cool, love the reclaimed wood wall created by a local artist. Rustic themed lighting and seating throughout. Go enjoy!

Tara M.

Yelp
Probably a great place for craft beer, but not for food or wine. For a meal, I would skip. Limited food menu, no sides with sandwiches, all self serve (ordering, pick up food, clean up your dishes, and if you want water, again, it is self serve), but they are quick to ask for a tip (not sure which service I am tipping??) !! Girls that took our order were not knowledgable about their drink selection and did not know what Pinot Grigio was. I was given the wrong drink order. WEAK pour on wine. My daughter was also called a filthy name by a worker when she asked about the water situation. I would not return here.
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
Delicious selection of beer and a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed a quick flight before grabbing dinner.

Yelp
Such a cool spot! I stumbled here via a Eventbrite event for a beer and chocolate pairing that was super freakin cool. We tried 5 beers(4 but they gave us a little taster of another too) paired with chocolates from la rue fine chocolates. Atmosphere: nice and comfy! There's your typical brewery tables and chairs, and then a little nook area with couches with gave me a small coffee shop vibe that I loved. Beers: the ghost pepper beer was such a cool beer! I loved the mild gentle burn it gave! Service: everyone was friendly and polite and very educated about their beers. Price: though I did an event which was different for pricing, I did order a beer at the bar after and it was super cheap. Parking: street, and they a little parking lot nearby.

Yelp
Another Yelp win! In town for a mother-daughter weekend & found this on yelp & 5 min walk from our hotel. I love a good brewery that also serves good food. We were not disappointed, Tried 2 different beers & had the Friday banh mi special. The bread was super fresh & the sandwich was tasty. Zapps chips on the side. The girls had bbq mac & cheese bowls with cans of sparkling lemonade. That was some of the best bbq i've ever tasted. Tons of seating both in & outside. Will definitely be back here.

Yelp
SO EXCITING! A new brewery located in downtown Greenville?! Now I can walk to the brewery and stumble home ;) Fireforge is located just two blocks from N Main St and conveniently located next to great eats such as Sully's Steamers. However, Fireforge already has plans to have their own kitchen and I cannot wait to see their menu. They have a variety of beers from Belgian wit and cream ale to imperial stouts and IPAs. The majority of their beers are 6-9% alcohol. Talk about go big or go home! They have three different size options at very reasonable prices. I got a flight with the Saison, Belgian Wit, Helles Bock and Cream Ale for $10. Currently they only have one part of their indoor area open where there are several tables and a very comfy sitting area with couches and rustic decor. The outside area is pretty bare but there are plans to build that up. I'm excited to see what the brewery looks like once everything is complete!
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
OMG. The Roasti Boi Porter is great. My Buddy (who is an IPA lover) says the John Hopcock is yummy. And we both agree the Grilled cheese sandwich is AMAZING!!!!

Yelp
Great beer and events just don't go on Sunday! I had a group join me at FF for beer and food one Sunday afternoon. We had several pups and 8 people. We were the ONLY people in the garage indoor area. LPUD rap music was being played., louder than in the actual brewery. I politely asked if they could change the music. It was a very small crowd in the brewery. Was told "it's Biggie Smalls day, best day of the week". I asked again , are you sure we can't have different musical outside? answer was NO. An hour later, still no other customers, I asked AGAIN for the music in the garage to be changed or turned down. They lowered the volume. Sunday afternoon. football didn't fit the music. Ruined the experience and the staff members were "dug in" that the music would not me changed. This is the third time I have sponsored a group event at Fireforge. While we love the beer, location, and menu, I won't be back:

Landen Y.

Yelp
We stopped in over the weekend for a couple of pints and this place has tons of potential! The beer selection is on par with other places like this one, and while they appear to still be working on their building, it's obvious they have plans for growth, and we look forward to visiting again once it warms up more. Friendly staff and tasty brews!
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
Stopped for a quick light lunch, which happened to include two beers each, LOLZ. We had a charcuterie board and and soft pretzel with beer cheese. The pretzel was more "bready" than "pretzel-y" which was fine. It was great with some of the items on the board as well. Don't remember all the names, but tried the Tripel, IPA, Belgian wit and a German wheat sour. All excellent. Super cool staff, lots of room to separate via COVID. Don't be afraid, come out & have a beer. (Or two or six; just don't drive...)
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Beer was awesome. Entertainment was good. It was an enjoyable treat after hiking all day at a Paris Mountain State Park. I just recommended the place to some guys staying in my building who are working in Greenville this week. I'll be back next time I'm up there.
google avatar

Lori L.

Yelp
Easy to find with a good amount of beer selections. Only thing I don't like about this place is that it was insanely hot in the common area. They did have fans but they were blowing hot air. Also, there wasn't anyone cleaning any of the tables so you have to clean them yourself. If you want water, they will ask you if you want regular tapped water for free or "chilled" water at a price which I think is pretty annoying.
