Great atmosphere and good staff. We went for Wednesday night trivia which was a lot of fun! The $5 trivia drink specials can’t be beat! They have a really good variety of drinks and food options. I got the veggie delight pizza in the 5x7 size which was a perfect portion for one person. The pizza was pretty good. Lots of vegetarian options too.

Decent Atmosphere, but Bar Service Needs Improvement. I sat at the bar, which had plenty of seating and a lively vibe, but the service left a lot to be desired. The bartenders seemed focused on filling drink orders for the rest of the restaurant, which made bar patrons feel like an afterthought. It took a while to place my order, and after that, I wasn’t approached again for a refill or additional orders. At one point, my bartender disappeared and seemed to be handling barback duties instead. As for the food, I had wings, coleslaw, and fries. The coleslaw was the standout, while the rest was just okay. Trivia night seemed to draw a crowd, so I can see how this could be a fun spot, but adding another bartender to better serve those sitting at the bar would make a big difference.

Update The visit has improved service. Service is attentive promp. The garlic mashed potatoes are great with flecks of red potatoe skins. The Irish Pub burger is well seasoned. Prior review Ever since this fire house place was converted to a restaurant I wanted to go there. Now I had my chance. Atmosphere great, food good fresh vegetables on the burger. Burgers minimum seasoning, good flavor. The fries have perfect seasoning and salt levels. Negative server/bartender gave the check before the food is out! When ask asked if he expected payment before the food was delived, he said "people do i either way. Its last call at 9:45" This happened at 9:36. That would have made it one star. Then the food was delivered by the kitchen and we had to get our own silverware, S&P and ketchup. The bartender only returned to bring the check. Me dining partner asked why we had to get our own dinig accoutrements and he said he forgot. The industry standard used to be "treat the last customer the same as your first." I get it we were close the last call. But the gentleman next to us received his bill after we did. And ours was the second time, way to rush a first time customer. The experience could be way better. Maybe they make so much in wages, tips aren't needed any longer.

If I lived in Evanston, I’d be here every week. The charm of the restored firehouse is clear both outside and inside, and the happy sounds of people eating, drinking, and having fun greeted us as soon as we entered. The 14 beers on tap had a wide variety, including my faves — stouts, hazy IPA, and Belgian white. I got Son of Juice, the Maplewood hazy. Yum. There’s also wine and a full bar. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and I got the Barbecue Chicken Pizza; both were great! The pizza is deep dish but rectangular in shape, served on a 10x14 baking sheet (Detroit Style). I had lots left to take with me, and I ate it on the road the next day. We splurged on a Cookie Skillet for dessert — wow. So good. The outside patio, strung with white lights, looks like a really funplace to eat and drink when it’s warm. All in all, we loved Firehouse!

I am not from Evanston, but this bar was recommended after a night out dining in Wilmette. Initially, the bartender was great, but as the night went on, his energy became less welcoming. When I ordered my second drink, it tasted more like juice than anything else. I asked the bartender to add more tequila, and he responded with attitude, saying it would incur an extra charge. I was fine with that, but when I asked how much the extra charge would be, he told me he didn’t know what the price was at his workplace. I was not satisfied with his attitude or service, so like anyone would, I chose not to leave a tip. After leaving the bar, the owner came out while we were walking home in the rain and questioned us about not tipping and what was wrong. It should be clear that if you’re unsatisfied with the service, there’s no reason to tip. I have never been chased down by any staff before, I would NOT recommender coming here!

Google
Good burgers. I especially like their Fish and Chips. I can tell that it's beer-battered. Tastes so good. Their staff were attentive and friendly. My only suggestion is for the kitchen to learn how to pack fried items for carryout orders so they don't turn soggy. Rather than immediately putting fried items in the carryout container, let them sit out for a little bit before packing them. Alternatively, perhaps the restaurant could look into using ventilated containers for fried items or simply cut holes in the containers. If Firehouse Grill can do this right, the experience would be perfect.

Google
The Firehouse grill has an air of casual sophistication. The patrons varied from families to couple on dates. The food was really good we had jambalaya and vegie quesadilla with fries. The drink was tastey but a little small for 12. We had a regular coffee with one refill for 8. I thought 4 bucks for a refill out of line. The service was ok. Ill be back.

Yelp
I love building my own Detroit style pizza here. Delicious! And the staff are super friendly :)

Yelp
I enjoy this lovely venue in Evanston. Firehouse Grill is in an old Firehouse and the space really is quaint and pretty. I always enjoy dining indoors, and on their lovely outdoor patio space. They have an attentive staff, and menu with a variety of interesting options. We recently stopped in for a late lunch. My husband and I enjoyed their basic Bloody Mary, which was spicey and perfectly made. We also ordered a veggie quesadilla, and it was perfect to share. If there is anything I need to do different, it's to try dining for dinner. We mainly dine for drinks or afternoon snacks, and the venue is perfect for that.

Yelp
My dear friend and her husband treated me to firehouse grill to celebrate my return home from the hospital. I've drove by many times and I am so glad I finally have the opportunity to try their food. I decided to have the breakfast sandwich, which consisted of bacon, fried egg, smoked pork, white cheddar on a ciabatta roll and served with breakfast potatoes. It sounded a lot of food. It was a lot of food and it was absolutely delicious! Apparently, the establishment was formerly a fire station. There are resemblance of it at least. Our waitress was super nice and checked on us a few times during our meal to make sure we are satisfied. The crowds were friendly and everyone seem to be enjoying their meals. There are parking available along Chicago Avenue and near by streets. Parking is free on Sundays.

Yelp
Boosting up my rating from my last review, although one thing remains the same: I've still never been here for a regular sit-down meal. I came here a few weeks ago for an end of the academic year happy hour event for one of the programs I teach in. This seems to strictly be an event space for me, which is a-okay. It's a great venue for events. It was a relatively small event in terms of number of people, but we had the entire second floor reserved, which was awesome. The service was great and prompt, and the food all looked great. They had an array of vegetarian offerings in our buffet (including caprese skewers, which looked amazing), and the vegan option was mixed roasted vegetables (primarily broccoli and cauliflower). I stuck with the vegan option as I'm trying to avoid dairy if I have the option to avoid dairy, and the veggies were roasted to perfection (although they were a little over salted -- definitely made me thirsty, but they did taste yummy!). They had several meat options as well, which looked and smelled good, but obviously I did not partake. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and went back for seconds. We also had an open bar, and they had several non-alcoholic options including 2 NA beers and 4 different mocktails (all of which use various sodas, juices, etc....i don't think they have any with NA spirits at this time). I love that they have that as an option, though, for people who prefer not to drink. I had the pomegranate mule and it was A+++.

Yelp
First time here, Service was speedy and friendly. I ordered a cheeseburger medium well had a light char. My food came out pretty fast. The fries are actually really good. I really enjoyed them. Ambiance is super chill perfect for October 1st.

Yelp
When I lived in Evanston and the north side of Chicago years ago, I can easily state that this was a go to place. Heck, we had lunch here for my all day bachelor party back in 2002 before a Northwestern football game. And it was really good back then. Like they say, never meet your heroes and in this case, never go back to your old haunts. The memories are just that, memories. And what I remember of the food was way different that what we had just a couple months ago. This was a sad shadow of its former glory. There were three of us. My wife got the Detroit-style pizza, our friend got a salad and I got a burger (I have a burger club and we rate burgers from 0-5). This was a mediocre burger. I got the Candlelite BBQ Burger. The one thing I can safely say about burgers is that the more places doll up a burger, the more mediocre it is. Everything on top of the burger (in this case the Merkts pub cheese, housemade bbq sauce, bacon, and crispy onion strings) all take away from the actual flavor of the meat. All these toppings just competed with one another. On top of it, the burger was not the medium I requested, but more on the medium well side. I typically don't send back food unless a place royally screws it up. This was just okay. I'd give the burger a 2.75-3.0. Lackluster. Like I said, don't visit your old haunts. My wife got the pizza. Despite asking for the crust to be well done, it wasn't. It wasn't crispy and was quite doughy. Just greasy with a lack of flavor. Our friend said the salad was okay, but nothing to write home about. The Firehouse Grill was once a great place to go, but now with so many options and a lackluster menu, they'd have to do a complete 180 degree turn to get back to their once former glory.

Yelp
My husband and I are frequent Firehouse Grill patrons due to convenience. They offer decent bar food and in the warmer months they open up the patio. Typical favorites of ours are their burgers, tater tots and cheese curds. My husband also likes their grilled cheese sandwiches. Pricing is typical for the area. Although they don't have a parking lot, parking is relatively easy to find on the streets. My husband recently went on a solo trip during a nice day and ordered fish tacos with tots to eat on the patio. Although prepared not how he usually prefers fish tacos, they were served blackened versus fried, he liked how the strip of fish served was solid and intact. It didn't fall apart or had a flakey texture. He did say there was a lack of season. He did save one taco for me to try out when he got home and afterwards I shared the same sentiment. It tasted flat. Despite the possible one off, He did want to give shot out to his server that day (CiCi) who was awesome and managed to remake a fresh batch of to go fish tacos and tots when he forgot to take them with him after leaving the restaurant and the busboys took his to-go away. Firehouse Grill is a good spot to visit for casual bar food with great service in Southeast Evanston.

Yelp
I've lived less than 2 miles from here for five years and I never got around to trying it until this week! I was exhausted from work and really wanted a veggie burger, so I ordered delivery from here. I got a veggie burger and bacon cheeseburger and they came hot and everything tasted great and fresh. It comes with a side, I got fries and tater tots and enjoyed both. I would probably get the tater tots again next time. It was a little pricey but the food was good quality so I can't really complain!

Yelp
Ever eaten in a firehouse? It may not be one anymore, but you can still say you have. Firehouse Grill is one of the casual large restaurants in Evanston. Has a pretty much standard menu of American classics such as burgers and pizza along with some other good items. There's burgers, pizza, and some vegetarian or healthy options. Came here at lunch before it got busy. It's pretty big, so it can easier handle a crowd. There's a bar and quite a few tables. Lots to get drunk on including many draft beers. There's cocktails too. It's about $11 for a cocktail. We got a few and I liked the Cuzco Mule. It was Barsol Pisco with angostura bitters, ginger beer, and lime. The drinks are only one thing. Burgers and sandwiches seem to be the main parts of the food menu. It's about $15 for an entree, which isn't that bad for the big portions. I got the Veggie Sloppy Joe. Patty was made of lentils, quinoa, and tofu. It wasn't bad. Toppings included green onions, pickled onions, ranch slaw, which I left off, and roasted vegetables. It looked good. Tasted okay. At least it was a lot of food. She had some basic looking pizza. Cheese was skimpy and not melted. The food can be good or bad, but it was good for me thankfully. Fun atmosphere if they do everything right here. It unfortunately seems like something will go wrong though, such as something with the food, which can be great if they're trying. There's big portions meaning you get a lot and there's some things for vegans and vegetarians.

Yelp
The smoked wings with Bbq was delicious. The wings were done perfectly, just the right amount of rub/ sauce. The Mac n cheese is alright, kids would love that. I like the old school baked style.

K M.

Yelp
Second time ordering the veggie quesadillas. Full of fresh veg, seved w sour cream and good salsa and guacamole on the side. While busy on a lovely Wed night on the patio, service was good. Recommend.

Jenafur S.

Yelp
Man, this place has seriously gone downhill. I used to order their blackened salmon...until they went to a micro-portion of it. Then, I recently discovered their new thai chicken wraps...until I received it (delivery) WITHOUT their in-house peanut sauce (which makes the ENTIRE dish) and when I called, I just received a, "sorry about that." Not even a hint of wanting to make it right. So, now I am stuck with these stupid wraps with no dip! wtf?! However, there were plenty of cilantro stems included so...lucky me. lol. WAY too inconsistent to recommend.

Kristen C.

Yelp
When I come here, I'm always welcomed! Thank you for making this the best neighborhood pub. Great when Brian is here - he's a doll and always takes time to chat- and better- make you laugh and feel like a local! Thank you! I had pizza recently- wow!! Don't miss it!

Yelp
I have been here twice now and each time I left with the same thought: meh. The ambiance is pretty cool, as the restaurant is located in an old firehouse. There are some interesting murals on the walls and the fire pole is still intact, which is cool. Service is also fantastic: very attentive, super nice people. I like that the tables aren't super close together, however, the cleanliness of the tables themselves leaves a lot to be desired. Today I had a reservation at 11:30 a.m., which is right when they open. The booth I was seated at had so many random crumbs and other gross stuff on the seat that I almost didn't want to sit down, but I made it through in an effort not to be rude to the server or my dining companions. Glancing around at a few nearby tables, I noticed that several of them didn't look very clean either, although presumably they hadn't been used since the previous day. Very strange. The menu has a lot of options, and there was a separate menu with brunch specials as well. I chose the grilled cheese sandwich with tots. It's insane because they give you two full-size sandwiches and a ginormous mound of tots. In fairness, the sandwich is called the Big As Your Head Grilled Cheese, so I probably shouldn't have been surprised, but Jesus. The food was okay but not great, honestly: kind of bland and too greasy for my taste. Yes I realize I ordered food that is traditionally greasy in nature, so me saying it's too greasy says a lot. Overall, the place is fine. I didn't spend a lot of money, which is good. I think the restaurant is ideally suited for people who have little kids. It is not a place I would gravitate to of my own accord.

Frank T.

Yelp
Returned for dinner. Service was excellent. Sat outside. This is not where you go for wine. Short selection. I went with the Cuban sandwich. I love real cubano sandwiches. This was meh. Comes with pork not ham. No flavor. The cheese doesn't stand out. The tots were the best part of the meal.

Anthony M.

Yelp
I thought this place was pretty solid. I came here for dinner, but I see they are open for lunch. Thats a big PLUS in my book. You can read all the other reviews as well. Its basically a bar and grill. Burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and salads. Its nice to have these around, especially when they are local. I went with the Irish Pub burger which I thought was ok. The meat seemed a little too well done. Maybe I will ask for Medium next time instead of medium well. My dad got the pizza which was actually the highlight of the meal. I will get that next time. Its Detroit style which isn't my absolute favorite type of pizza, but this was the best one I have had outside of Michigan. It had a nice crust and the sauce was good. As for the service, it was good, but not great. I think our server had too many tables and he was helpful when we were able to get him. Probably the worst thing was the prices of the sides. There was some confusion on the kids menu on what items came with sides. My nephew ordered a side thinking it was a kids portion. It was a full portion which was $5 dollars! That seems....much. We brought it up to the server and he mentioned that they don't have kids side and that he already "gave us free sauces" or something like that. Is it the end of the world, no, but you would think that you would say something to the parents if a 7 year old kid is ordering a giant plate of fries. All in all, the food was good, the vibes were great, and its nice to support a local business. The whole family will probably be back, but I will sure be back since its another lunch spot near work!

Daniel D.

Yelp
Stopped here on the way to our hotel. Cool place to chill outside and have a drink. The food was great! I had the "Big as your head" grilled cheese and my son got the chicken Alfredo pasta. Two totally different types of cuisine, but Firehouse made both of them great! We will definitely return next time we are in Evanston.

David P.

Yelp
Great service and friendly staff. Efficient with deliveries as well. I like the steak and fries. Fritz, Dakota, and Matt are all fun to be around.

Meeae K.

Yelp
Ordered takeout. They were very friendly which leaves the impression that service is good. Food was awful. I threw it away. I ordered the chili Mac. It was noodles with some meat in a soup of water. Flavorless.

Elle D.

Yelp
This place is badly in need of upgrades on many levels. My friend ordered the tostada-style nachos with the upcharge for pulled pork. She said the pork was dry and awful and ruined the whole dish, which was otherwise just chips with cheese on top and a side of jalapenos, sour cream, and pico de gallo. One star goes to the manager for comping her meal. My basic burger cost $17, was overcooked, bland, dry, and came with a side of "garlic mashed potatoes" that I can only describe as "wet" and also without flavor. Won't be back, sorry.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere in an old firehouse and the food was decent with big portions. Only negative was that the hosts and servers there looked like they literally could not care less. It seemed like they were all college students that wanted to be anywhere but there serving me.

C S.

Yelp
Great place to bring your parents when they come to visit, there's something for everyone! I had the burrito which was surprisingly quite good. The music in here was wayyy too loud though.

Craig S.

Yelp
Food was great, diverse menu with something for everyone, good value, unique atmosphere.

Elgin B.

Yelp
Greetings and salutations, It was cool Saturday afternoon so I decided to give Firehouse grill a second try. This time I went durning the lunch hour and the environment was great for lunch time. I do wish they had a bunch menus but what I ordered was good. I kept it simple and got a burger with fries. My friend tried the Gumbo. First thing I want to say is the staff at Firehouse are kind and accommodating. Very attentive and even when I walked in without my mask they kindly ask me to put it on with our being rude. My burger was great evenly cooked and the homemade pickles gave a nice flavor to the over all presentation. I also really like the fries. I washed everything down with a coffee and shot of Kahlúa which was perfect the chilly afternoon. My friend wasn't a fan of the gumbo. I tried the corn bread and was decent. I did like the over all prevention. This is most definitely a spot if your hungry and want a quick bite with a friends and family. The booths are very large so they can accommodate. I did see that the wings are still sold out and look forward to trying them some day. Lastly I will mention they added a brownie with ice cream to the menu which I also look forward to trying in the future. I put 3 stars but more like 3 1/2 out of 5.

Betsy N.

Yelp
Unique setting in an old firehouse. Neat old murals above the bar. Old wood planked floor. We sat inside due to the hot humid weather in Chicago. The patio looked inviting. I started with a cold brew on tap. It was delicious and the beer list was adequate. I wanted to eat healthy and chose the roasted cauliflower with a balsamic sauce. The first bite tasted healthy but nothing spectacular, the next bite was better and better and better. They came with a green creamy sauce that was a good match. My boyfriend had a burger and he said it was cooked perfectly!!

Adria H.

Yelp
Firehouse Grill is one of my favorite local Evanston restaurants! The food and drinks are consistently delicious! I have used this location as a meeting spot for client and social meetings regularly in the recent past, and have come to deeply appreciate one of the staff in particular, the Host Cece! Cece always greets us with a warm welcome and fantastic service! Not only is she Hosting and greeting, but manages to have impeccable timing for meeting all of our food and drink needs during our dining experience! I always feel cared for and welcomed as a result of Cece's attention and care for us! Seek her out when you are there and show her some love! She will surely bring some sunshine and light to your day also!

Diana G.

Yelp
Five stars for the best burger and loveliest patio around. I don't care much for the rest of the menu, and service is iffy, but the burger and patio make up for it.

Kathy R.

Yelp
I went here for dinner while visiting the area. I ordered a grilled chicken with mushroom sandwich instead of a burger patty. It was horrible. The chicken was rubbery and the mushrooms were somehow dry and stuck together. I am not even sure how that is possible. We also ordered nachos and they were not for me personally. They don't even look like regular nachos. I left spending $100 and did not say anything. I just would never recommend it or return there. My server was really nice and I liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was a negative for me. 1/17 Immediately after my post, the owner reached out to me to try and make things right and will share the feedback with the cook / kitchen. I do appreciate the responsiveness and effort and I have increased the review one star for this.

Regina R.

Yelp
After leaving a review saying I had a bad piece of carrot cake, I received a message from the owner apologizing and offering a gift card. Wow! So, I got a $50 gift card and I wish I could say my return visit was excellent, but...well, the service was top notch, but the food wasn't. Again: their burgers and salads are decent. This time my friend had the fish and chips, but neither the fish nor the tartar sauce had much flavor. But she really liked the Local 742 beer. I had a burger which was fine. I think my favorite thing here is actually the tater tots. Maybe people come here for the pizza? I've never had the pizza. Best thing: our server, the food runner and the person who came around with the water pitcher were great. We were in need of nothing the whole time we were there! And of course the owner wanting to make things right blew me away. I really wish their food were half as good as their customer service.

David G.

Yelp
I brought two friends to Evanston to show them firehouse and were the first to sit on the patio for the season. Put in our order....I went with the breakfast sandwich-- no cheese- and flagged for the waiter it was for an allergy to dairy. Wrong entree came out for me- they sent a breakfast burger. Waiter offered to remake it. Ok- mistakes happen. 20 mins later the second attempt came out "breakfast sandwich no cheese" the waiter states proudly. Eager to eat fast because my two lunch companions were almost done with their meals...I took a bite. Covered in cheese!!! Waiter came out and said I would have to speak to the manager- but she was soooo busy so I'd have to come inside. Manager half looked up from what she was doing to say they would remake what I ordered for a third time. I told them it was too late- my friends were done eating and we didn't have time to wait for another attempt. I also told her about the dairy allergy and that I would be ill the rest of the day. "That sucks". "Sorry about that" was the reply. When the bill came we were told that "the manager was NICE ENOUGH to comp your meal". This is why this review is being left. Comp the meal? As in "with our complements"? Of course that's not even in question- it's not what I ordered! I'm embarrassed I brought my friends to Evanston for this/ and was awkwardly eating subway in the car for lunch as I took them home and they kept apologizing for getting to eat while I sat there for an hour ignored.

Gerry G.

Yelp
This place is totally underrated and needs some love. It's bar food with a big menu, a nice beer selection, great patio, and very friendly service. The Cuban is pretty good as is the fish and chips. I overheard the owner saying she also owns the Candlelite, so I'll try their pizza next time for sure. Bonus, Hoosier Mama Pies right across the street for dessert!

Sandra R.

Yelp
Waiter was excellent. We sat outside and listened to great music instilling nostalgia. Ryan L was our waiter. We had a group of 10. He was patient, kind and helpful. The food was delicious.

Dan P.

Yelp
The wife and I have driven by this restaurant countless times and wanted to try it. Then, a friend asked us to meet her there during phase 4. Our second restaurant meal since reopening began. we sat at a reserved table on the patio (not sure if indoor dining is open here yet. I recommend getting a reservation as if was fairly busy even at 14:30. Service was good. The server was friendly and the food and drinks came out quickly. She brought iced Tea refills without being asked. The iced teas were rather watery, but kept us hydrated in a hot day. The only slightly annoying thing was that the server only gave us one food menu for 3 people. We c I ordered the pot roast chili and the wife had the veggie burger. The chili was good, but had some chewy pieces of meat in it. The wife's veggie burger was also good, but lacked integrity and made the bun soggy, which fell apart. It contained quinoa, mushrooms, squash and other vegetables (house made). She ended up eating the second half without the bun. She ordered a side of Mac and cheese, which was also good, not outstanding, but good.

Lynn S.

Yelp
Outstanding, friendly service by Sydney! Delicious food. I had the veggie burger, and my husband had the chicken burger. So tasty! It happened to be trivia night on Wednesday, and we loved the warm, festive atmosphere. This is an amazing restaurant... an experience!

Karl V.

Yelp
Firehouse is hit or miss food wise, but the last time we went the SERVICE was AMAZING with our super attentive server CeCe! I swear it made the food and experience MUCH BETTER. Would definitely go back more often if every meal was like our most recent visit.

Jimmy Z.

Yelp
Great spot! Biked up from downtown Chicago and was hungry and thirsty. My phone was about to die as well. Cece took care of everything! Excellent chicken bahn mi sandwich, cold beer and great service. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

D. G.

Yelp
I've driven by this place many times and always wanted to stop in. Unfortunately, when I did, it was not that great of an experience. The food and service was marginal at best. The place was not busy at all. Maybe three tables were occupied. My son and I ordered burgers The Firehouse and the Station 2) and my wife ordered the Susan's Michigan Salad. The burgers were just okay. At the price point that they are charging for burgers, they should be much better than just okay. Especially when I can say that Culvers burgers blow them away. The salad was a disaster. First, they gave her the wrong salad dressing. It was not the one she asked for. Then, she realized that the chicken was missing. It was simply not put on the salad. I had to get up and track someone down to let them know. The solution was not a fresh salad prepared correctly, but rather a chopped chicken breast that had been microwaved (my guess because the plate was really hot, not just the chicken) thrown on a plate as a side. Wow. First class. The salad should have been comped. The entire meal with tip (two burger, a salad and a couple of shakes) was just under $80. This is bar food. Way over priced. Additionally, I was not given an itemized receipt. I had to ask for one. Here's some irony for you. It's called the Firehouse, as in associated with water but we never got any water refills during the whole meal. They just sat there almost empty. I certainly will not be returning again.

Hanna H.

Yelp
I try this restaurant about once per year (for 6 years) hoping it will be a good place. Every time I'm disappointed. Food is bad to average at best. I've tried a variety of appetizers but didn't like any of them. The fish and chips are soggy. The steak has no flavor. Burgers are the best bet but still just ok. Drink selection is good. I recommend just to come here for drinks and nothing else if you do want to try it. It takes a while to get service here once you are seated. We fed my 1 year old some puffs while waiting 15-20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. They charged us 50 cents for having food at the table. I'm surprised they noticed her eating puffs when they didn't notice us at the table for so long. Bad experience all around and multiple times. I'm all about supporting local restaurants but I just don't think I can come back here anymore.

Yelp
Cece provided excellent service with a smile. Made me feel very welcomed. Thank you!

Yelp
Don't eat here too often but every time I do it's always great! Love my spicy buffalo chicken sandwich! Could be a bit spicier but still delicious. Cece is the best. Very attentive

Yelp
Sat out on the patio on a beautiful afternoon, ate some good food and received the best customer service from Cece! Life is great!

Yelp
The staff and service here are always so friendly. Cece on our last visit knocked it out of the park, tending bar, the room, and training all at once. A very relaxed place where it all feels like your go-to neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Food is solid, American comfort food, but I kind of want them to get a little more ambitious given that it's owned by the same folks who own Candlelite, which features much more interesting fare. The empanada appetizer I ordered was really, really good, and my wife really like her chopped salad wrap...with tater tots. The veggie sloppy joe is a great option for vegetarians like me, and they're willing to make the veggie burger with the toppings of the regular burgers as well. As a fun bonus, the restaurant is, as the name implies, in a former firehouse. They have a great outdoor patio with heat lamps and plenty of space.

Yelp
A home away from home. I stop in often to take a break from the day and talk to patrons and staff alike. Love to take in game and have a burger (Marty Burger the best) Always get a friendly face whether it is CeCe, Fritz, Jason, Dakota, Stacey or anyone else working that day.

Yelp
Love Firehouse Grill! The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive. CiCi is awesome. The fish tacos and quesadillas are delish. Patio is very nice -- even when its cold (they have plenty of heaters). This is also a great place for events. They have a fully staffed party room. Another plus? Parking is a breeze.

Yelp
Didn't know Firehouse would add 3% credit card surcharge at the bottom of our bill. For most places, credit card fees are part of the cost of doing business. Instead, we, the customers, paid for it. The extra fee seemed sneaky and inhospitable. The server or some obvious signage could have informed us ahead of this. In addition, as a party of eight, the server could have reminded us that a customary 20% tip was already added in to check. We almost paid a 40% tip for lunch, which wouldn't have been the end of the world, but service and food didn't warrant it.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by Firehouse for a quick lunch. The service was great and we both enjoyed our food. I had a chicken wrap, and he had a burger. Our waitress, Cece, was super sweet and very attentive. It's such a cool place for a quick bite or a cocktail. The fact that it's an old firehouse is super appealing.

Yelp
Fantastic service and great menu options for adults and kids! Their pizza is super tasty and the smoked wings are a must try. We will definitely be back again!

Yelp
Where do I even begin.... You can't convince me that the positive reviews, especially the over the top gushing ones aren't paid. Just look at their facebook page: they've disabled commenting and the pictures of their food are enough to make you want to puke, but I digress: Worst restaurant experience from start to finish: My 8 year old son's pizza wasn't even thoroughly cooked! Read on below and you'll find review after review about food poisoning. The cheese on my child's pizza wasn't even melted! I could make a better frozen pizza at home! The mac and cheese was watery and disgusting, my burger was child sized and had ROTTEN onion on it, and the nachos are literally 12 nachos IN A CIRCLE ON A PLATE! What a joke!!! How this place hasn't been shut down is beyond me after all of the food poisoning claims. The manager actually attempted to argue with us that it's "tostada style" LMAO she clearly has no clue what that means. What a joke! Will not only never come back here again, but beware, if you post a review, the creepy owner might find you and harrass you on social media.
