We've been customers of the Centennial location since they opened. I'm sorry to say since the big company (owns Burger Kings, Popeyes etc..) bought them out it's just gone down hill. What used to be a nice full sandwich is now skimpy on everything. The staff is rude and the place is a bit dirty. We're going to the new Jersey Mike's. At least you feel like you're getting what you pay for.

Google
Update to my last review: overall the food is good. This is the third time I went in. The employees seriously lack costumer service skills. First two times I figured it happens we all have a bad day. Being the third time the benefit of the doubt is gone. Not returning to this specific location. Really disappointed as I had given it a four star rating in the past.

Google
Worst firehouse location in the centennial/north Las Vegas area- avoid at all costs especially if ordering from a delivery service. Customer service has never been great when I’ve visited in person but I decided to order Uber eats and they charged a $5 upgrade per sandwich to make it a combo which is fine except the app only offered a bottled water as the drink choice. I’ve ran into this issue before at the location by my work so I placed the order then kindly asked them to switch out my drink for a fountain drink. They said their location doesn’t offer fountain drinks for Uber deliveries, but the app should have given me an option to pick a bottled soda. I explained the app didn’t give me the option and that other locations had made the switch for me no problem. I asked if she could switch my water out for a bottled soda and she said there was no way because there’s a price difference. I even asked if I could pay the price difference over the phone but she said no to that as well. I explained paying $10 for two bottles of water and two small bags of chips is a little ridiculous and asked three separate times if there’s anything they can do about the situation but she repeatedly told me no. I don’t understand how it’s my problem that their app wasn’t working the way it was supposed to and feel like there should have been at least some sort of attempt to make things right. Definitely just ordering Jersey mikes or port of subs next time instead.

Google
First and last time here. Paid 37$ for a medium and large sub combo. Ordered through the app. Came in to pick Up the order and no one said a word to me. They were out of chips, they were out of cookies, they were out of salads…at 12:30 in the afternoon on a TUESDAY!! The food was mediocre and not at all worth the cost. Won’t be back.

Google
I ordered a large New York Steamer and a medium Engineer. The Engineer was made perfectly and was better than expected. The large Steamer was flat and made with 3 thin slices of pastrami. Definitely not worth the $15 price tag. I love what this place stands for and I really want to visit this place more than Subway but the inconsistency makes it difficult. Update: Management responded to my review in less than 15 hours. I bumped up from 2 stars to 3 for that kind of service! I'll be giving them another try.

Google
The subs here are better than Subway and probably healthier too . They're a little bit on the pricey side but well worth

Chris Dixon

Google
Love the meatball sub. Their always friendly and the food is ready quick.

Google
I ordered a hook and ladder sandwich and it was so poorly made I couldn't even pick it up as a sandwich. The bread was all broken up so much so that I don't know how they made it. I have never had such a horrible sandwich from Firehouse sub. When I have had that sandwich it was warmed also and this one was cold. It didn't even taste like a firehouse sub. Very disappointed. I found out later that my sandwich was made just at closing time but that shouldn't affect the quality of my sandwich.

Yelp
First kudos is to the gal who took the order and was really helpful in navigating the sandwiches since I don't ever come here. Ordering a Medium Italian and Smokehouse Cheddar and Brisket, I found the sandwiches to be a bit underwhelming. The sandwiches are made fresh but for the same money, I can think of other area sandwich and sub places that would be a lot better. Inside was clean, they have a cool fountain drink machine with a lot of unique choices. Again, the team members were good - but the sandwiches had me wanting more out of it.

Yelp
While the sandwiches are decent, I do feel like they're overpriced. Additionally, every single time I've been in, at all different hours of the day, every single staff member has had an attitude like I'm inconveniencing them by ordering. I never get a "hello" when I walk in, they just stare at you until you order. I've been to some other locations that had far better customer service because this place literally has NONE.
google avatar

Yelp
Their sandwiches are good but the people working at this location aren't very nice. Spent $140 and went to grab extra napkins only to be scolded for taking them. Dude said he put some in the bag but how were we supposed to know that when he had the bag? I Dislike it when people act like 3 or 4 extra napkins (you need because hello, it's a sandwich) are coming out of their paychecks. It's not like I took the whole canister, only what was needed! (Like I said, it was 3-4 napkins, total.) Really weird mentality. Not used to such stinginess. But yeah, not my favorite location because of the customer service issues here.

Yelp
We actually like the food but I have to say tonight was not cool. We usually go in the evening time.....every time we go in to order, the staff is blah like they don't want to be there and never have smiles. We ordered 2 large sandwiches for 14.00 each and after looking at one of them, we had to weigh it 1lb2oz in the container. You can see in the photo that it's underwhelming for the price. The owner needs to get involved to bring it back to normal. I see other people feel the same.

Yelp
We've been coming to firehouse subs for over a decade and this most recent visit was an excellent experience! My husband went to pickup the subs. We both tried the chicken bacon ranch sub. I chose wheat bread. The sandwich was really delicious. It had the perfect amount of ranch and a ton of turkey. The wheat bread was a great texture. The return of the hot sauce bar made us both remember the good ole days!

Yelp
Sarcastically, I was disappointed that there were not actually firemen making the sandwiches. My sister and I stopped in June 13 on the way to Spring Mountain Ranch. We were the only patrons in the store at first, but many followed behind us. 3 Medium sandwiches and a small, plus 4 bags of chips were $50. There were two employees working, one primarily making the sandwiches and one primarily taking the orders. But the cashier did end up helping with the sandwiches. They weren't Jimmy John's fast, but it didn't take an exorbitant amount of time. Sandwiches were delicious and made mostly correct. Two of the sandwiches had the breads swapped, and none were labeled on the outside for what each was, which I wish they did. That would have ensured that each of us got our correct sandwich, rather than guessing.

Yelp
We ordered online and picked up from this location. The subs themselves were large, well made to order, and tasty. The only think that lost them a star is that it was 45 mins from when we ordered to when the subs were ready. If the website says 30 mins, 50% longer is not great.

Yelp
They were closing in 15 minutes and one of the workers was using a broom to dust off the ac units while all the food was still exposed. Then the oven wasn't working and the lady pretended that it was working. Thankfully I checked my food and the meat was frozen cold. Can't believe they tried to serve us that

Ben C.

Yelp
We placed a mobile order for two sandwiches, one with several customizations, one with a single request. Unfortunately, when we got home, both were incorrect. The Italian was made standard despite removing multiple ingredients, and the meatball came with a pickle spear we had specifically excluded. We called the restaurant and were met with immediate hostility from an employee named Tim, who accused us of lying and demanded we return immediately or they wouldn't help. We asked about their refund policy, but he openly admitted he didn't know it and refused to offer any clear options. This left us no choice but to cancel our plans and go back to the store, something we had hoped to avoid by ordering ahead in the first place. Before leaving and to avoid wasting time, I confirmed with him on the phone that both sandwiches would be remade - before I even mentioned the meatball issue. He agreed they'd be hot and ready in 5 minutes. That promise alone is the only reason we returned. When we arrived, we were met by a curly-haired employee (presumably Tim) who immediately went back on his word, refusing to remake the meatball sandwich. I calmly pointed out that he had already promised to do so, but he dismissed this and began mocking me to my face. When I showed the receipt, he used the fact that the modification wasn't listed (meaning the sandwich was technically made "correctly") as an excuse to deny any help, ignoring the fact that he had committed to remaking it regardless. The situation quickly escalated. Tim physically held back another employee who appeared ready to intervene, at which point I became seriously concerned for my safety and left the store. This experience was appalling. I was harassed, gaslit, mocked to my face, and physically intimidated over a simple mobile order mistake that the staff then refused to address professionally. After reading other reviews referencing a "curly-haired employee," it's clear this kind of behavior is not a one-off. I've reached out to management and am open to amending this review if action is taken. But if this is how the restaurant continues to operate, I strongly advise against visiting this location.

Chanee R.

Yelp
The sandwich was delicious but the customer service now that's another thing. I walked in no one in line and a couple of people sitting eating their food. Wasn't greeted by the neither of the two worker (female and male) but no problem I wanted to check out the menu anyways. A few minutes go by still no acknowledgment of me as a customer! Two other people walk in and walk to the pick up counter and ask about their order and was shortly handed their order so I walk over to the pick up area and ask if this is where I get help and the girl said no down there. Okkkk let me go back down there and wait again. After a long wait I finally got my food. Which again was great but they need a little training on customer delight! Not sure if I will return especially after reading a few race reviews on here! Maybe just need to try a different location!

Sophie L.

Yelp
Food, service and ambience is as expected but service is quick and sandwiches are delicious. I love the macaroni and cheese there as well as the soups.

Yelp
It absolutely pains me to give this place a single dollar of my money. Unfortunately my wife likes it, and I drag my ass down here. The service and personality of the staff is straight out of a zombie movie. You completely feel like a nuisance ordering from them, as they won't even say hi, welcome, what can I get you... never anything from them. It pains them to ask what kind of bread you'd like. Never ever a thank you for a tip. I always tip because of some correlation I have made up in my head that if I don't tip they'll make my food all f'ed up. And don't try calling this place to order, they'll NEVER answer This younger generation is screwed.

Makayla D.

Yelp
I always love firehouse! The girls who made my sandwich made it in good time and were super nice!

Joshua H.

Yelp
I ordered a combo and went to get a cookie after getting my drink and the manager guy basically accused me of stealing the cookie. I then told him I got a combo and he asked if I requested a cookie with it. I said i saw it was the same price so I didn't think to. He said it was automatic and I apologized and nicely asked if I could just get the cookie and not the chips and he rudely replied no because his count would be off. I have never worked or seen a food industry that would care at all about a single cookie instead of a bag of chips for a count like this so I would put the blame squarely on the manager. He also clearly seemed to have a disdain for white people.

Kai T.

Yelp
We came in to get 2 medium sandwich combos and the lady did not specify if we had to say which side we wanted. We grabbed a cookie and were met with the manager scolding us for not grabbing chips instead. Then I asked the lady why she didn't ask us while we were making order and she said "it's the default setting" but menu says we have a choice between the two. I also noticed our food could've been a small instead of a medium that we asked for.

Yelp
Stay away from this place if you're black ! I was at this place some time ago and it the most horrible service ever but I'm the kind of person who believes in God and forgiveness so I decided to comeback today and give the place a second shot . Boy I was right about the first time . There were to young people behind the counter ..( young man and a young girl ) and only one black lady customer on the floor waiting for her order to be prepared but she wasn't happy either and she told me about it , I was looking and looking at the Menu while waiting for someone with a smile and a greeting to say Hi to me at least since the place was absolutely empty and this is a crucial part of Customer Service . It was like I was an invisible man and I'm a super visible black older man who is 250 pds but none of them wanted to do anything with me . I dare Management or Corporate Office to look at cameras if they please because I can't believe this is happening in The Vegas I grew up . Are these employees trained to hate people or just " black people " like that without knowing them at all regardless?? Management should be fired and employees need to receive proper training.. I don't blame them . I still like this Company just not the one at this Location . Horrible experience !

Yelp
I turned away from Firehouse several years ago due to change in quality of sandwiches. I recently tried again and was pleased with the sandwiches I get. Recent visit made me have to do a review and share my experience with the franchise owners and future customers. The location was empty and the cashier male was half asleep and could not get my order right on simple things like add cucumbers and lite mustard. I had to repeat several times, then I asked him to repeat back to me and he has nothing noted. I asked him if he was Ok and he just rubbed his eyes and yawn hand yo mouth and said "yeah" I payed and when I turned to get a table. Every one of them was filthy. There were five (5) people her and the restaurant was poorly maintained. I had to ask several times if I could get a table cleaned. The same sleepy kid came out? Poorly wiped down a single table and left all the chairs dirty and cover with over spray from cleaner bottle. Then as I watched him. He went from cashier, to cleaning table, to then back to making sandwiches without changing over gloves or washing hands between. WTF? Now, the rest of the staff were not 100% attentive, but not a big deal. Although one with read curly hair was dropping f-bombs and making a note presentable environment with her language. I would say their needs to be some managerial/ownership oversight here, before it begins to lose you more business. Just saying.

Carol C.

Yelp
Another sandwich shop only they serve the subs warm. They were okay for a quick lunch. The people making the sandwiches were friendly and polite. I'd go back again if I were in the area.
google avatar

Bryan P.

Yelp
Service not good I stood at register for 4 minutes 3 people working and not one person acknowledged me not even a hello or just one second lol trash service do better when your selling 20 dollar meals what a joke.
google avatar

Kimberly F.

Yelp
I do love using their app. You get points and when they add up you get free sandwiches. So if you go often, I'd recommend downloading that. The sandwiches are always delicious. The service is always fast. You can mobile order through the app and choose a pick up time. The earliest being 15 minutes. There have been a few times where they didn't add the pickle on the side, which is a household favorite around here... so that's been occasionally disappointing. On a brighter note, I really love how a percentage of the money made goes toward the purchase of life saving equipment to first responders and public safety organizations. You can't feel bad about that! I have also seen kids get cute, red, plastic firefighter hats upon request. That makes the experience so fun. I usually get the turkey bacon ranch and my husband loves the Italian. Their chips are yummy too.
google avatar

Austyn S.

Yelp
This place is generally solid most of the time. Food is always good, they sometimes have a tendency to get your order wrong though and not make changes you ask for when ordering. The service is always fast and you are never stuck waiting too long for your food. Staff has always been very friendly each time I've gone. The location stays clean and sanitary so big points there! The only major flaw is they lack consistency on getting orders right.
google avatar

Ray S.

Yelp
Last time I will pay for the double meat scam. Firehouse...it's been a very long time since I've done business with you because of this exact reason. I see nothing has changed. I was a Firehouse loyalist and enthusiast and my household consumed quite a few of your offerings each month. Then you burned me. Not once but a few times until I wrote you off. Gave you another chance. Same issue. Now I'm writing.
google avatar

Brandi M.

Yelp
Used to be great ! Now it depends on who's there making the sandwiches . Last time I ordered the sandwiches were DRY . And one thing that is terrible is THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! So if you want to ask them to toss in an extra dressing , or anything you need , you can forget it ! My husband was there eating one day and saw the employees just staring at the phone ringing and won't answer it ! Definitely gone down
google avatar

Yelp
I arrived on Saturday night around 8:30 with my husband. I seen they closed at 9:00 and thought 30 minutes is still a sufficient time and if not no problem we can go somewhere else. The second we walked in the guy in front ran to the back. He then came out with a huge attitude. My husband apologized and said is it too late for us to order? The guy threw is hands in the air and was like it's fine. His vibe totally threw us off and made the experience terrible. I then asked do you guys have Mac and cheese? He then said it will take a long time for it to be done. My husband and I were so shocked by his attitude that it made us uncomfortable and not want to order any food. We told him just to cancel the order and left. I went to that location several times and never experienced this. Employees should be trained to clean and put everything up once they are official closed. It kind of defeats the purpose of being open until 9:00 if you can't place an order at 8:30 without getting an attitude. My daughter works in the food industry and I get that is a difficult job but your attitude can really affect someone's experience. If he would have said it was too late to order with a positive attitude we would've said ok thank you and found somewhere else to go.
google avatar

Janine L.

Yelp
Clearly management is not concerned with reviews or having repeat customers. The staff seems to think it is time to just hang out and socialize while half ass making some sandwiches and stuff. I expected a higher standard, I guess. Lesson learned.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
$11.50 and 25 mins to get a cold sandwhich that's supposed to hot...NEVER AGAIN ..It isn't worth the money no doubt or the time...
google avatar

Joe L.

Yelp
What a waste of $10 plus tax. Went here because its not subway, shoulda went to subway. Poor quality. Tiny bread and thin. For $10 for a 4" sandwich, it should be way better. I shoulda just went to in n out.
google avatar

Tara H.

Yelp
This is my first time at this location. I was shocked to see that it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. There were three staff members there. It didn't take long to get my food. It was freshly prepared. Thank goodness the bread wasn't soggy. The sandwich was perfect, but the person making the sub didn't give me my pickle, which I had to ask for. The person making the subs was a teenager with brown curly hair, who seemed to get annoyed when I asked for the pickle. He hurriedly gave me a pickle (look how sad it looks) so he could get back to a personal conversation with the other two employees. While that's not a problem, but get your work done first, then you can go back to just hanging out or whatever you should be doing when there's no customers in the store.
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
Wow this place gets busy during lunch! And that's with them currently being takeout only. I can't imagine how crowded it would be if they allowed you to dine in because the store is tiny! The employees were friendly despite being super busy and orders were quickly being cranked out. Although I hadn't been to a Firehouse Subs in years, their subs are as good as I remember. I usually get the New York Steamer which has corned beef, pastrami and melted provolone. So good!
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
They definitely need to work on their customer service. You know, like greeting people or being at all friendly, smiling, anything would be nice. Not the most competent staff there either - not hard to take an order for a single sandwich. Anyway, the place seemed clean and we stopped here on our roadtrip because we were getting gas nearby and wanted something fast and easy enough to eat in the car quickly. This one maybe isn't the best, but the sandwich tasted good. It's really about the sauce since we got a brisket sandwich, so it's more about that flavor, but the meat was fine. Sandwich was good and a decent size. Nothing special per se, but decent enough. I do like the options they have available though.

Yelp
This review is over two meals we have had here recently. What I LOVE? The app that allows me to order ahead of time and just go pick it up. What don't I love? The fact that my order is never right when I don't stand over them and watch them make my sub!!! The first time, we ordered extra meat, and almost 1/3 of the sub was bread only - no meat at all. For an extra $6, I don't expect that ANY of my sub is meatless! The most recent time, I ordered it without mayo. You have to go in and CUSTOMIZE the sub to get it that way. Yet, I got it made SLATHERED in mayo. I do NOT eat mayo. I reached out to let them know - they never answer their phone. I sent an email - no response. NOT OK! When they are on, their food is good. But sadly, I don't really feel like they care.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
This place is terrible! Manager doesn't care, already complained to him before. We're done!

Rosemary T.

Yelp
This place could care less about the quality of their food, or their customers. The assistant manager Trinity did nothing to solve the problem I had with my sandwich. Stay away is my advice.

Justin W M.

Yelp
The service is always horrible. The employees are never any help with the app, or just in general. They always close early. We have been here several times and never had a good experience. Management really needs to step things up here and get a clue.

Yelp
My family and I decided to stop by the Firehouse Subs for dinner Wednesday night. This Firehouse Subs location is a new one in NW Las Vegas. It's located at the corner of Durango and Farm, right off of the 95/Durango exit. It's in a shopping plaza next to the CVS and Sprouts. Parking is relatively spacious. We had entered Firehouse subs on a non-crowded evening. The restaurant was clean and well-stocked. There were several Firehouse team members inside. After looking over the menu, we ordered the following -1 Large Combo Cajun chicken with the Mac N Cheese (fountain drink) -1 Kids Combo, Meatball sub with Chips (drink) -1 Small Ham, Bacon, and Cheddar hot sub. The total came out to be approximately $27.00, so a little more expensive than your sub-way or port of subs. We received our sandwiches quickly and hot! The Ham, Bacon, and Cheddar hot sub was filling. I also tried the Mac N Cheese. It is a white cheddar Mac N Cheese with croutons on-top. It's super scrumptious and filling! My daughter liked her meatball sub sandwich as well! She also got a cool Firehouse hat with her combo. If you have a little one that gets a kid's meal, don't forget to ask about the firehouse hat! The team members were helpful and friendly. I would visit this Firehouse Subs location again!

Yelp
I love firehouse. I always get the best sandwiches here. It's my happy place. I feel like the ingredients are better than other sandwiches shops. I noticed a few bad reviews but human errors happen. Try giving them another shot. They are quick with quality. Working from home with kids I find it easier to grab one of these and not worry what crap is being put into our bodies. I don't ever feel gross or greasy after eating here. The establishment is well kept and staff is quick to greet you.

anthony s.

Yelp
Customer service is horrible. They have a promotion rn and are busy but decide to sit around and do nothing. Turned away me and another customer but (I'm guessing)as soon as someone they knew came in they were then taking orders again and made their sandwich right away( I stayed throughout the whole exchange). They say they are busy but decide to do nothing but sit around for 10+ min on their phone, complain about how busy they are, and then start a new online order. I usually like this place but I would rather give my business to the other firehouse subs 10 min down. They have the same promotion and were able to take my order right away because their staff isn't lazy. Way better work ethic and customer service. I can now understand why this location has a 2 star rating. Should be 1
google avatar

Latricia T.

Yelp
This location never answers the telephone their website to order online is NEVER UP AND RUNNING. 2 months ago I picked up an order. They shorted me items. Never could get any one to answer phone so I called district manager. She answered and committed to sending me gift card to cover money spent for food I never received. Gift card NEVER CAME. IM DONE.

Yelp
Save yourself time & money & don't come here. By far the WORST firehouse subs I've ever been to. Customer service & food are both garbage. Curly brown-haired kid working the register is a joke. Always trying to close up early by turning off some lights to give the impression they're closed. Told us it was going to be 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches (they weren't even busy). Then he proceeds to tell us it's gonna be an extra $6 for salami to be added on a sandwich. Wtf?? This is just absurd. Meanwhile, looking at their menu bacon is only $1 extra & a whole small sandwich is $6.99, but you want to charge $6 to ADD salami. Get home & 1 sandwich was wrong. Workers are simply lazy and don't care. Management is also awful. Place needs some serious work ASAP!! Won't ever be back & will warn other people to not eat here.

Kevin A.

Yelp
WOW I've never had firehouse sub and today simply WOW there Cajun chicken sandwich . Going into the establishment for the amount of employees and not a single one welcome me in was bad but there sandwich was amazing wished I would have gotten a large instead of medium lol.
google avatar

AJ A.

Yelp
Always made fresh, great customer service, clean workplace, and great sandwiches. I always try a different one when I come in and all of them have been good

Yelp
I love Firehouse and used to eat there all of the time. I just moved to the centennial area and went to the one off of 95 and Durango. The food quality has gone way down. Until recently I had never had a bad sandwich from Firehouse that I could remember. The portions are small, the sandwiches never taste the same, ( I always get the Italian). Today I went to get a sun and didn't know they offered garlic bread until right after I had ordered and paid. I asked the red haired girl if I could get my bread that way and she said there was a charge for it. How?? It's the same bread, you're just adding some butter. I don't even get all of the toppings on my sub lol. That's a fair trade off in my head. I looked at the menu and don't see it shows an extra charge for that anywhere. Not even online. I've eaten at a lot of sub places that do sandwiches this way and never been charged extra for it. She was very snotty about it too. I will not go back to this location.

Yelp
The food is very fresh. They make excellent sandwiches here. I like the "Hook and Ladder" sub sandwich.

Rude rude rude!!! There was a girl with dyed red hair she was incredibly rude. Tables were dirty. Several people waiting a long time because the fake red head had one speed super slow. I love firehouse subs but they need to hire friendly people

Yelp
I had to tear apart my sandwich and peel this plastic off of every piece of pepperoni on my sandwich. I could've choked on this. How careless can you be?

Yelp
Staff is horrible and rude. They yelled at me when I asked where to pickup my order. Very unprofessional. Also the curly headed brown hair kid and fake red head girl were cussing up a storm in their own conversation instead of doing their job and making my sandwich. The soup and the chili I ordered also were not even HALF FULL. Pathetic garbage this place, I will never go again and warn others of just how awful the staff is. Ordered 11/6/2023.

Yelp
I'm not sure what people talking about here on the reviews, but honestly they have a very good tuna sandwich and I'm very satisfied compared to other sandwiches. I will definitely return here if I'm seeking a sandwich

Yelp
I come here all the time. How you manage to have so many young employees who work so hard and are so well orientated blows my mind. Everyone in this place deserves a raise. They are kind, attentive, and deliver consistency every single time I am here. Thank you.

Yelp
I love Firehouse Subs but this location could use much improvement with their quality control. The past three times I've placed an order for pick up multiple items are always missing, whether it's the side pickle that never seems to be included at all or ingredients missing on the sandwiches and without ripping everything apart how do you know? Then you go online to their website to let them know how they did and you can't because they don't include the correct receipt that contains the code you need to submit a review nor does the link that says if you don't have a code click here. They really don't want to know how they did so here I am in hopes they'll take their quality control a little more seriously. Pretty sure I'm done spending money at this location.
