Always delicious and good service. Makes the subs just the way I like them and the hot sauce bar is always available.

My go-to when in the area. I like to visiting Firehouse Subs in Herndon, which was nothing short of great. It is located on the far side of Dulles Park shopping center, which really doesn't do it any justice. I mean the food, the service and the people are friendly. I went there just as it was shit to rain; it was either McDonald's or Firehouse Subs. I had seen it while driving in the area and thought I would give it a try. I ordered the limited-time only pork and slaw sandwich. What can I say if it's BBQ restaurants or anything that makes pulled pork sandwiches in there to try it out. It didn't take long, and it was at the right temp, too. The pictures are worth a thousand words. The pulled pork sandwich was packed with pork and major helpings of slaw. I think it took me five minutes to devour. The taste was so inviting that I've bite was not enough. Even the pickle was crisp and delicious. You know a sandwich is good when you can't put it down for a second to wash it down with a drink. I will definitely add this place to my growing list of food places that I will visit. My recommendation is to go to this restaurant, which, by the way, supports the brave men and women firefighters.

I always have the most pleasant encounters with the staff here at this location. I go out of my way to go to this location as opposed to other locations because they always take my complicated orders with a smile on their faces. My orders are always how I ask them to be. The manager when she is there always makes time to approach my coworkers and I to say hello and ask us how we have been. Super friendly establishment. More places should emulate this type of customer service which is rare nowadays.

Firehouse subs is awesome plain and simple. I have visited this location numerous times with colleagues and alike, for lunches, dinner, meetings etc, and I’ve always had a super great experience! I often order the Ny Steamer, Turkey Bacon Ranch, Cajun Chicken, or Engineer and I’ve had the Firehouse brand Chili and Chocolate brownie. Pro-tip, ask for ALL of the cheeses, you won’t be disappointed. The staff and associates are consistently fun, patient and delightful. More importantly my orders are correct every time. Overall this location is clean and tidy, everything from countertops, drink dispenser, tables, windows and more. I definitely recommend Firehouse Herndon for anyone looking for a yummy bite to eat on the go.

Food was outstanding person who made my food was fast and put his back into it I asked for his name and he told me his name was Francisco, he deserves a raise!

Sandwiches prepared exactly as ordered, everything is fresh and I love the softness of their breads. I ordered a medium and now wish I ordered a large! 🥴🫩🤣🤣

I absolutely love Firehouse Subs in Herndon! The service is always top-notch, and the subs are consistently delicious. I appreciate the fresh ingredients and the fact that they steam their subs, which adds a unique touch. My go-to is the Hook & Ladder, and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Firehouse Subs for a tasty and satisfying meal.

Oh man, Firehouse Subs, you've done it again! I was there yesterday, and let me tell you, that New York Steamer was nothing short of a sandwich miracle! If this thing were a person, I'd be ready to take it out for a fancy dinner and maybe even introduce it to my parents. The pastrami? Sliced so thin, it was practically transparent! And my friend ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, and they said it was amazing! Perfectly seasoned--like, if it were any better, it might just start its own cooking show! The staff here are like the friendliest people you could ever meet--always ready to help and keep the place cleaner than my room (which isn't saying much, but still!). Whether I'm dining in, grabbing takeout, or ordering through one of those delivery apps, the food is always on point. Huge shoutout to the team for making every visit a great one. You guys are seriously awesome! Keep up the fantastic work!

I literally just came out of this place. I come here to grab a sandwich (which isn't bad cause I love the sandwiches here) and that white girl with the black hair always has something slick to say. She's always interrupting me when I'm ordering and idk if she's a manager but her tone is very nasty! She needs to work on her communication skills and customer service cause huh? As for the workers they are nice and mind their own business but she seems to do the most

Food is good here from my experience. Ordered a medium Hook and Ladder sup and I liked the mayo spread they put on it, and the sandwich toppings were tasty. The bread left some to be desired for me as I like my bread crispy with a bit of crunch, but if you like pillowy doughy subs, this is right for you. Service was meh for a mobile order. I was sitting inside waiting for my order to only realize later that they had called my name already previously but didn't call again. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant. I went on a Tuesday evening and there were some weird people just hanging around the entrance of this restaurant smoking cigarettes and talking. Definitely sketch if you're going by yourself. Would I recommend taking people here? Probably not. Order take out? Yes.

This food left me feeling not so great afterwards. I got an Italian sub, but was an odd combo with honey ham. While the ham was listed, it took up almost the entirety of the sandwich and was extremely salty. Would not recommend this place.

Not really a fan of this location. There were a lot of flies flying around and I had to ask the server to switch gloves due to them using the same gloves to clean before making my food. Overall the sandwich was good but I don't think I would go back due to the questionable cleanliness.

This is the best Firehouse Subs and my go to lunch spot for the last two years! I eat here once every couple of weeks. Carla, Delma and the team are the nicest employees, and the food is delicious. I like how spacious the restaurant is and how fresh the food is. Thank you for being awesome!

Great food, clean as well but the customer service / answering a phone shouldnt be difficult and has caused a poor review.

I have no issue with the Firehouse restaurant itself. My wife & I have used it many times. But on 20 June 2024, I ordered via their app (as I have done previously). This time, I was double charged for my one order. I completed the online survey and reached out to Firehouse itself for reimbursement. They kept saying they would contact the restaurant manager who would contact me. I explained to them that (a) the restaurant was not the problem; it was the app; and (b) the manager is never in the store. I have reached out to them numerous times, but nothing is resolved. It should not be that difficult for Firehouse to reimburse me ~ $12. But it has now been 3 and a half weeks. I will never use their app again, and I may not return considering their awful customer service.

Horrible. Even if the food was decent. I walked in, no greeting, nothing. This chubby little kid and girl just eyeball me and make it creepily uncomfortable.

Good food and friendly staff. Place is maintained clean as well. Service was good. Plenty of parking and easily accessible.

A little more vegetables would have been nice. +Loyalty rewards program to keep the casual 9-to-5 professional interested in returning, for future lunch visits. +This location has two mega Coca-cola soda machines that dispense more than 30+ flavors. +The medium sub was a good size rated at around 600-700 calories. -No french fries or other hot sides, besides chili. This place is horrible! I place a delivery on the website. I called After I received a email saying that it was a pick up, not an delivery like the website says that they do deliveries. False advertisement! I asked for a refund. The little girl that answered, the phone said to go online to hit the "CANCEL BUTTON". I asked for the manager or the assistant manager. Both were off today. I thought the weekends were the busiest times for restaurant. I thought they should at least have one authority leader there if not, both. Totally unacceptable! I will never eat there again in person or make a delivery Which I was told that they don't now, even though that the website says that they do. This level of incompetence is ridiculous. The website says that they deliver. I'm still amazed that this young lady that answered the phone, said to go on the website and hit the cancel button. This is what happens when teenagers won the restaurant and there's no supervision. And the person that I am in charge of that place please just give me my refund back. If you want to be generous, add additional $10 of my refund. Please don't write an apology response down by my comment, just give me my refund me my money on my credit card!!!! Update: I had to explain the supervisor/assistant supervisor that regardless, if it does say on the Google app which it does say, by the way, that you guys do deliver, then that is a moot point. She keeps kept telling me that we don't deliver we don't deliver with just a little bit of attitude, Like I was in the wrong for asking for my money back. I should be able to cancel my order anytime I feel like it and should receive my money back on my card whenever I cancel on the same day, I truly believe that y'all need to teach your cashiers. How to get a refund because all restaurants seem to know how to do that and not say go back to the to the website and hit the cancel button like I was told at your restaurant. I did get my refund, but it should've been difficult. Never will I go to fire house subs in Herndon, Virginia again! Oh yeah, one last thing, I never even received an apology from this authority figure at this restaurant. Bad service from the top on down.

App doesn't work so can't order online. So I tried to call the store in Herndon VA - their phone isn't working. So against my better judgement I went into the store to order in person. Toaster wasn't working so couldn't order the sub I wanted. They are trying WAY to hard to encourage customers to go somewhere else - so I obliged. I will never go to Firehouse again.

Once again, very disappointed. It would be 0 starts if possible. I have been here three times in the the last year and all three times I have been given the wrong order. I will NEVER be returning to this place. I ordered a Hook & Ladder, small, with no onions and no tomato. Not a hard order. See picture below to see what I was given. I can kick myself for not checking the dang sandwich before I left. Shame on me for thinking things were different here. DO NOT BLINDLY LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER! Excelling at mediocrity! Firehouse Subs is a chain, so take that for what it's worth. The menu is pretty large, which is good, but can hold up the line while noobs stand there trying to decide what to get. The service here has always been solid, but I recommend calling in your order if you're going during meal times, as it takes ~5 minutes or so to make a sandwich, and a glut can ruin your lunch hour. I love - LOVE - having pickled peppers on my sandwiches, and FS' peppers are good, but last time they were smothering the sandwich to the point that they were all I could taste. The bottom line with this location is that there are a couple of local sandwich shops in the area that are much better; they're worth a few minutes' drive.

Quality: My wife and I both have tried several of the items on their menu and we have yet to be disappointed. I recommend the Sweet and Spicy Meatball sub; if you like brisket like I do (originally from Texas) then I'd recommend their brisket as well. It has a really good smoked taste! Personnel: Everyone we have encountered, both delivery and takeout, have been great. Very helpful and friendly which is, my opinion, becoming harder to find. Menu: If you can think it they probably have it! Enough said. Notes: This particular branch is easy to find and is centrally located. I like the fact that this business is focused on a cause and not simply the bottom line. I am happy I've stumbled across this establishment and they have been my back up, when I don't feel like cooking and want something that tastes great and is filling, for a while now. Highly recommend!!!

Horrible experience my order was messed up twice they didn't know how to make steak and cheese literally no cheese and veggies at all skimping or remember to leave the mayo out for me despite me telling them twice!! The second time they still messed up my order with missing ingredients in person!Seems like employees here need some training or help. I use to love Firehouse Subs but something is amiss here.

Sadness. First time ordering for delivery. First, they delivered the day before delivery. Second, on the day of delivery, they were over an hour late (we are an office, we ordered for a meeting). Third, they got my order completely wrong, not adding the cheese and putting the sauce on the sandwich which I asked to be on the side. The salad my colleague ordered was lacking as well. We won't order from here again which is sad since we like the subs.

Was hungry and didn't want to cook or wait for a restaurant, so went to this sub place and got a sandwich. It was kind of late and I was surprised that they opened everything up to let me order, but they did with a smile and courteously.

My 2 year old was eating a pastrami sandwich and I saw a hair hanging from the inside of his sandwich. DISGUSTING!!!

Saturday afternoon and 35 minutes for people to get their sandwiches. It would have been nice to get a disclaimer before ordering a tiny sandwich for $11. The staff doesn't apologize for the wait and seemed annoyed that I changed it to be to go since I wasn't expecting to be there so long. I will not return to a Firehouse Subs anymore. Very disappointed.

The store is less than a mile from my hotel and it took them over an hour to get here. Now my "hot" sub is barely warm and the bread is soggy.

Love Firehouse subs. Theres one by my house that I frequent and reviewed, so I was excited when they opened 1 close to where I work in Herndon. As always the subs are all awesome, I always go with the italian on wheat. The difference here is the service is much better at this one. And thats saying a lot bc the service at the other location is really good. The ppl here welcome you as soon as you come in and are really nice. Big compliments to Kelcie who helped me today and was awesome

I have never tried this chain before, but coworkers frequently go there and have recommended it. Steak and cheese was actually the best I've had in a while. No soggy bread. Meat wasn't dried out. Good ratio of meat to bread. Would definitely order again.

This place is a nightmare. Twice in a row now I have placed an order to go, waited 20-25 minutes, then walked up to the cashier, showed my receipt, and my order was not started. I think the sandwich got completed but somebody else snuck out with it - yes, I sat next to the counter so I could clearly hear the names called. Second time I just got my money back and left with no sandwich. Beware! Food is mediocre as well.

Upon entering I was greeted which is uncommon and a plus. The cashier taking my order was very thorough and explained what was on the sandwich I ordered. The person making my sandwich (Casey) brought it to my table immediately after making it. The sandwich was delicious. I had the hero sub. The place is clean and so was the bathroom!! I also had a red velvet cookie which was great. I am from Massachusetts so I'm use to quick ordering and unfriendly people taking orders but this place is superb! Will definitely come again.

These one star ratings disgust me. This restaurant has some of the hardest workers around, but when they make a mistake you give them a one star and bash them, come on, that is what we have come to. I would love to go to some of these stuck ups place of business and wait for their mistakes to bash them in the same manor, because we all make mistakes. To me it is always about how the issue is handled if there is one, and this location is second to none. I frequent this Firehouse amongst numerous others and I have had the occasional mistake made with my order too, but they have fixed it quickly with no questions asked and numerous apologies. Think about it before you post, would you really want someone standing over you criticizing your work as you are with these folks, I think not, you probably would have a job if it were to happen.

I have always had a good experience at this location. Mistakes can happen sometimes but everyone from management to staff is always helpful. The food is decent, but the friendliness of the staff is what really makes them stand out here.

Staff is always friendly. Food is quick even when it's busy at lunch time. Meatball, Hook N' Ladder and BBQ Brisket are my go-tos. Best subs around.

I have to start this by saying I LOVE Firehouse Subs. Absolutely love their food- HOWEVER THIS LOCATION IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I have ordered Firehouse Subs via Uber Eats multiple times, and they literally leave out multiple parts of the order. I have been super patient with them, assuming it's an issue with Uber's system & the restaurant...I feel like that's understandable. HOWEVER- the customer service at this location is non-existent. I have had to call three times tonight to get them to bring me what I ordered the first time and they acted like it was so awful that I was making them bring me the food I ordered. Why would I PAY EXTRA to have my food delivered to me, if I have to just have to go pick it up? Makes no sense to me. Then the delivery guy was so rude to me when he got here, I'm literally never ordering from this location again.

Been there twice now since it is right down the street from my house. I love subs but this place isn't a go to for a sub. First time, they put items on there I asked not to be on it and second time, they didn't put what I asked to put on it. Not sure if their system is faulty or the employees don't read the order. Very disappointed and won't be returning. Sorry guys, might need to look for new sub makers.

I have to say this is my favorite place to go for a tasty, fresh and generous sandwich. I love the under 500 cal variety of sandwich that gives you the chance to eat healthy as well as the kids menu. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly!

This is my new favorite spot for cheese steak subs! I can't believe I've passed by here so many times and failed to stop by. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the inside of the restaurant looked very clean. The only let down was that they don't have fries, which would go really well with the subs. Despite that I am definitely still going to come back!

I'm a flight attendant and had an overnight here in Herndon. This totally saved me. Fast delivery, fresh sandwich, and my brownie was still warm. Great.

Only avoiding a 1 star rating because the subs are decent. I have never, in the handful of times that I called in an order, gotten the correct order. Ever. Despite the fact that the receipt even says on it precisely what I ordered. Not good! That in addition to the insanely long wait if you don't call it in make this a 2 star place. I would consider changing my review if I knew how they plan to fix the order taking process so I get what I asked for.

I have never really been one for subs except for an awesome steak and cheese until Firehouse subs opened. I'm really surprised as I normally hate chains. I would recommend bypassing the medium size and just go for the large. I tried the medium and it wasn't really worth the price. I am one that welcomes leftovers. The NY Steamer has been my favorite. Today I tried the beef and cheddar brisket. Very good as well. I get mine fully involved as I like lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. I hope they continue to make big and delicious subs.

I eat here a lot because my kid loves it. My order has always been correct and the food has always tasted delicious. Had a bunch of their different subs and all were good. And they also have a lighter fare menu which I've never paid attention to, but, someone who doesn't want a sub would prob enjoy it. The staff has always been friendly and seem to work hard to keep the place clean and organized. The soda machines are pretty cool and they have a good selection of hot sauces to choose from if you're a hot sauce kind of person. TV's at each end of the seating area usually showing sports channels is is OK by me. I also like that they have a program where you can punch your phone number into the credit card swiper and it keeps track of your purchases and you get a free sub on maybe the 8th visit (not sure which visit it is but it's somewhere right around 8).

I have to be honest and say that after trying Firehouse Subs my family does not go to Subway anymore. The freshness is so much better and so it the quality of the meat! I've tried over 1/2 the menu and there isn't one I haven't liked. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

This place took my customized order without any hesitation and it was superb!

I don't know why they would heat my sandwich without asking me. But it must be because the meats are completely tasteless. Decent portions. Not nearly enough oil/vinegar. Bread was fresh but nothing special. In short, it's okay to fill your stomach but a last resort.
