San Francisco’s New Restaurant Openings - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The Massachusetts-born buffet chain, with another location in South Lake Tahoe, has opened its first Bay Area location at Pier 39. Diners can fill up bowls with meats, vegetables, noodles, sauces, and other things, then have their custom creations cooked right before their eyes on open-air grills." - julia chen 1, patrick wong

The place was fine overall. The décor wasn’t anything special, just pretty basic. It’s more of an all-you-can-eat setup where you fill your bowl, have it grilled, and come back, which is a fun concept. The live grill was nice to watch, but the food itself wasn’t anything extraordinary. That said, it’s definitely a budget-friendly option, so expectations should match that—it’s not really a spot for great ambience or a standout dining experience. The day we went it was also very crowded, which added to the “just okay” feel for me, since I really enjoy ambience when dining out. Still, it’s a good option if you’re looking for something affordable and interactive, where the fun is in the grilling experience rather than the atmosphere.

Google
You get to choose your food options and they cook it in front of you. I had the chicken with Alfredo and also salmon teriyaki and a salad. The Salmon and chicken were both amazing, some friends said the burgers and steak were a tad overdone so maybe avoid those, also the teriyaki sauce was pretty spicy, 🥵 a few people here were saying that. I did let them know that though. It was super yummy though. Just if you don't want spicy I would avoid it. Might be helpful to post a sign of which sauces are spicy.

We had a wonderful meal here. The ability to choose your ingredients is wonderful. The chef on the hotplate was wonderful. Everything was an artwork. Nice to see they could also cater for Halal customers. Those got their stirfry done in another location to meet their specifications

Google
Best food value in all of Boston. Absolutely yummy. I went to the one in Boston this time, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. Back when I was in school, I always went to the one in Cambridge, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots. The food was always delicious, the prices were fair, and it never disappointed. I was sad when the Cambridge location closed, but I am glad the Boston spot is still around to bring back those same great memories.

Wow this Mongolian style BBQ is incredible! Think buffet style where you put your own meal together and pick a sauce then bring it to the habichi grill to be cooked in front of you! The food was amazing and the service was great for such a huge group! I highly recommend stopping here if you're in Boston!

Google
It was a fun experience with the family, 5pm visit. I love that they have little recipes on the walls to give you an idea of what to get cooked up. Salad bar was great, flavors were on point, Chef's handled the round table grill skillfully. Drinks weren't bad, We had some $5 Maitai's. Kids drinks were delish (I heard). We stuffed ourselves 2 or 3x each.. then went to the fountains at Copley. Wonderful day!!😁

I’m literally obsessed with this place and make it a priority to visit every time I’m in Boston! The food and staff are wonderful and the menu options for both breakfast and dinner are endless, I’m always left wanting to go back. Staff are really friendly and if they see you taking a video of them cooking or the fire, they will do it again to make sure you got it recorded! For the amount of food you can get, it’s so cheap. Last year I had dinner and this year I had breakfast when I visited. So delicious. If you’re not sure what to get, they have recipes posted on the walls around the restaurant to help you try some new things which I also love. Waitstaff are so attentive and check in, if you need more water or anything. As a UK speaking person in the USA my accent can be hard to understand at times but they were patient with me and really warm and welcoming. I wish we had something like this in the Uk! If you haven’t been yet and are debating whether to go or not, 100% go!! You will not regret it 🫶🏻

Fire + Ice in Boston is one of those places that instantly makes dining out feel like an adventure instead of just another meal. From the moment you walk in, the energy is buzzing—lively music, the heat of the giant circular grill, and chefs flipping food with a mix of skill and showmanship. The whole experience is interactive, which makes it stand out from the typical restaurant scene in the city. What I love most is the freedom you get. You’re in control of your meal from start to finish—grabbing a plate, piling it with fresh vegetables, seafood, meats, noodles, and toppings, then choosing sauces to match your craving. Hand it off to the grill chefs, and suddenly your creation comes to life right in front of you. The options are endless, so every trip up feels like a new experiment. You can go light and healthy, or you can go bold and indulgent—it’s all up to you.

Yelp
"You can fly, you can glide, you can dream You can see through this interactive vision stream" (Yes) The Fire + Ice website describes their restaurant experience as "interactive", so what exactly does that mean? Well, if you've ever been to a Mongolian Barbecue/Grill place before, you know the answer. You walk through their huge variety of vegetables, starches, proteins, sauces, and toppings, then bring your dish to their big circular grille where it gets cooked up right before your eyes. The versatility of the ingredients and sauces gives you Asian, Italian, American, and Latin accented meals. I've been to Fire + Ice at other locations in Cambridge, MA and Nanuet NY, but those locations are long gone. In fact, The Boston Fire + Ice is just one of their four remaining locations, alongside Anaheim, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco. Dining here is a very fun experience. This place is kind of like the twisted lovechild of a salad bar and an all-you-can- buffet. The salad bar has all kinds of vegetables and pastas that will sooner or later end up in your dinner. And there are plenty of proteins - raw chicken or beef or seafood or fish. The game-plan is this- you fill up your bowl with as much as you can cram in there, pour any of a dozen sauces into a small cup, and walk on over to an enormous circular grill where the staff will cook up your concoction. They push and probe your food with giant spatulas until thoroughly cooked, add your sauce as a finishing touch, then pour the hot steaming mass onto your plate. The sauces can make your concoction into any ethnic food in the world- from Thai to Mexican to Szechuan to whatever. The place is a hoot, and our private party of 35 loved it.

Yelp
For me, this place has a sense of nostalgia since I remember coming here as a little kid with my family in big groups. Unique dining experience where you get to pick what you want in your stirfry, whether it be pasta, rice, just vegetables or protein, or a make your own quesadilla or burger. I've always liked how much you can customize here! I typically don't come here with people who have food allergies due to the fact that food from other people's entrees on the grill (since they're all cooked altogether on the center grill) can often spill into your row and touch your food. My friend also ordered one of the customizable sets they recommended on one of their posters on the wall, which was a mac and cheese burger assembled on the grill which was pretty good! Plenty of seating inside for large groups, and I believe there is still a student discount on Mondays! (We went on a Friday night). Service was decent, left full, and had a fun experience here!

Yelp
I came to Fire + Ice on Saturday to celebrate two friends' birthdays. We had a group of 7 and our reservation was for 7:30, but they still allowed us to be seated after we arrived 15 minutes late. It was my first time coming and I thought it was alright, but nothing to go out of your way for. It was very busy and the sitrfry/buffet line was pretty long. Our servers name was Erick. He asked if any of us were new to the restaurant, and when we said yes, he asked if anyone at the table wanted to explain how the buffet concept worked, which I found funny. He took our drinks and let us know the bar was backed up so it might be a bit. The bar forgot to send one of our drinks with the rest so one friend had to wait a little longer for hers. I ordered the Mai Tai and I thought it was so good, just strong enough. Another friend ordered a Lava Flow, great if you like sweet, fruity blended drinks. Four of us got the buffet plates, and they all had good things to say about their food. I ordered the Pork Dumplings app. I thought they were a little dry, and I would've preferred a soy dipping sauce over the spicy, thicker sauce they provided, but it wasn't bad. My friend ordered the Buffalo Wings app and she really enjoyed them. The portions were reasonable for the price. We also let Erick know we had two birthday girls, and he brought out one bowl of ice cream with two candles and the staff sang happy birthday, which they appreciated. The only other hiccup was when we got our bill, we noticed they'd accidentally added an extra buffet plate. Glad we caught that! It was quickly fixed and we headed out. It seems like the food and drinks are decent and you can have an enjoyable meal here, but it seems a little chaotic on weekend nights and the service was hit or miss. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
The concept of the restaurant is really cool. In short, you pay one price for all you can eat stir fry+more...so come hungry. Like a DIY buffet. They have different stations with raw ingredients which you grab your choices, then bring them over to the grill. From raw fish to noodles to vegetables, there's everything! Then you choose a sauce and bring that up as well. They have sauces from stir fry to mac n cheese sauce. Not only bowls, but you can have them make you burgers, steak and cheese subs, and other things like that. We got there 30 min to close but still was able to eat a lot and left full. However I suggest not doing that and giving yourself ample time so you're not rushing and can choose from everything. I will say too, I was overwhelmed from all of the choices, so don't be afraid to walk around and plan out your meals. I definitely over did it with portion sizes at first and ended up getting full way too fast. Also, be creative! Use the spices and toppings to really season your ingredients. I threw together basics but saw others around me really putting thought into their dishes which gave them a more elevated experience. They did have some suggestions on the wall of dishes you could create but I saw it too late. Overall cool concept and good price considering how much you can eat.

Yelp
I love fire & ice! I used to go to the Providence RI location until they closed it down. I like how you can pick out your own raw food items and season them. You do not necessarily have to make a stir fry as people have written here, if you prefer things on the side, then have them do it separately. The chefs seem to really enjoy their job & even show off some skill. The food is definitely good for the price & I think they have a good amount of options. I didn't like the seating arrangements that much here as they barely have any booths, for that I took off one star, but the staff was kind and food is good. We went for the brunch menu on a sunday, so we could get breakfast too, which consists of omelettes, pancakes and delicious crepes. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
I've not been here in over a decade. This is one of my favorites ~Mongolian BBQ. It used to be just one trip through now it is all you can eat. I used to have fun piling high the veggies and noodles in the bowl. Now go back as much as you want: veggies + noodles + proteins + sauces & spices all grilled up for you while you watch. Lots of great choices. I made mine spicy. The Thai spiced pork was very good. If I lived in Boston, I'd be back! Give them a try.
google avatar

Hunter B.

Yelp
It has been a long time since I have been back but I still am a fan of an all you can eat place. You basically grab everything in a bowl and they throw it on a large circular hibachi style grill and then get your food cooked. I thought the proteins available were good and plentiful and the sauces were hit or miss, where I did love the kbbq sauce. It can take a while based on the types of food you want cooked and how many people are trying to cook food. A fun concept of a restruant and a must try.

Yelp

Yelp
Food was horrible. I would not recommend going again. Everything was super oily and salty. There were so many diners and only 2 chefs, so wait time for food was abysmal. The same set of teppanyaki spatulas were used for everyone, so there was cross contamination of everything. Don't come here if you have any sort of dietary restrictions. The chef works by collecting everyone's food then grilling them at the same time. Thus, it takes 5 minutes till the chef starts flipping, turning, and dicing your portion. What this means is that our meat was overcooked and unnaturally charred. Got some zucchini that was so burnt that it tasted bitter. The chef was extremely careless and casually tossed and mixed everything. More than once someone else's food item or sauce ended up in my plate. I'm not sure if the grill would pass sanitary inspections. Normally in teppanyaki the grill is cleaned during cooking with grill scrapers, some oil, and some wipes. However, this place only used the metal scrapers. The cleaning just wasn't thorough. There's a high chance your meal came with residues from someone else's food! The chef also applied cooking oil way too generously. On the positive note, the restaurant had a lot of sauce and item options. Service was nice as our waiter was friendly. Ambiance was mediocre. Perhaps come here once for the performance. It's interesting to see the teppanyaki grill in person. Otherwise, avoid this place and find other teppanyaki restaurants. This is the worst one I've been to.

Yelp
This sudo hibachi restaurant took a little getting used to, but once the flow was understood, navigating the vast numbers of options became a fun challenge. Service was minimal, but efficient. Tables cleaned promptly between courses and beverage refills arrived in a timely manner. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

Yelp
Good service, great food, and so many options. Dennis went back for seconds. Probably gonna have my next birthday party here.

Yelp
I have to say this place is my go to when I come in to the downtown Boston area I've been here several times and I'm always satisfied with the food and the service the fact that u can pick out the food u want cooked on the grill I highly recommend this place for sure if u visit the downtown Boston area fire and ice is definitely the first place u should stop by if u want some good freshly cooked food upon order they definitely deserve a five star

Yelp
Fire + Ice is an AYCE hibachi grill type of place with many different options to choose from. The concept is you pick a small bowl and fill with items that can include your grains or noodles, vegetables, meats/seafood, and much more. Then you head to the sauce bar and choose a sauce or make a version of your own and add it into a small black container. Afterwards, you bring it to the grill and wait for it to be cooked in front of you hibachi-style. I was impressed by the large variety of noodles, veggies, and meats, but I was slightly underwhelmed by the sauce bar. I wish there were more Asian ingredients like soy sauce, chili oil, etc. but the premade sauces were not bad. I came in for the $18.99 lunch deal on a Wednesday and there were so few people there. Around 12pm too. I hope more people will give this place a chance and try it out, especially for lunch because of the good price.

Yelp
We had a fun time here . Drinks and food made in front of you such a fun night. The service was amazing . The vibe is attentive and welcoming. We definitely will be back . Street parking is difficult but they have a garage literally right next door .

Kimberlee H.

Yelp
The food was good. I like the concept and if you know anything about how to mix food and favors together you'll have a great experience. I also say that the restaurant is a tad but too dark. I would give this place a 8/10.

Yelp
The service tonight by Mikayla and Samantha was 5-star level! They were both so wonderful with our young students from California - and that just makes their Boston visit that much more special! Our tour groups always love this place as they can get exactly what they want, no matter how picky they may be. BTW, the chefs were fantastic with the student, as usual. Thanks Fire and Ice for another great experience!

Yelp
We came on a Monday night and lucky for us because Monday is their College Night where we could eat for only around 17 each if we showed our ID!! The structure is you grab a bowl and fill it up with whatever you want them to cook on the hibachi and they make it in front of you -- very cool since it's communal so it's a unique twist on traditional hibachi experience. There was a TON of variety that can be made, from fried rice to cheeseburgers. There was also a ton of different sauces to choose from. Maybe I just didn't choose right sauces but the flavor was good but nothing mindblowing, just your everyday yummy stir fry. I LOVED the hibachi aspect though!! It was so cool to see them cook up my food and when one of the chefs saw me filming, he even redid one of the flame shows at an angle better for my phone to pick up on. Need to remember to bring some cash next time for tip!!

Yelp
The restaurant has returned to its former glory. They had an excellent selection of ingredients, sauces, and drinks. Food was excellent. Kids really enjoyed it. Grill guys were great and were cranking out meals super fast and our server was very attentive. I miss the Harvard Square location, but this one is bigger for sure. Make a reservation on the weekends.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the concept is fun but.... 1. There was no sign by the sauces specifically saying to put on the side...so I just tossed on top...then they tossed out my bowl saying it was going "to burn that way." Kind of a sad waste of food actually. 2. Drinks took awhile to come out - would have liked to grab my water to have while I waited at the grill. 3. We went to brunch and I decided to try a pancake for one go around. I regretted it. The cook tossed the fruit on top of the pancake and flipped it to cook on the grill, fruit down. So I ended up with a pancake that was cooked on one side and uncooked on the other with fruit on top of it...ewww. Ambiance was good though.

Yelp
One of my OG Boston faves! This experience was about 12-15 years after my last. The pricing is still affordable but service was a bit lacking as we need to stack two rounds of plates on our table to be picked up. Buffet offerings are abundant and for brunch they also have pancakes made on the grill. The concept: select your mixins and your sauce and they hibachi cook it on the grill. They also have a salad bar. Unlimited combinations for all tastes. If you have food allergies, they will grill your food in the back to avoid contamination. My sister got a pancake and it was fluffy with fruit mixed in but it was partially raw, so I opted to just place my fruit on top.

Yelp
I had been to this place a few times in the past, but this time I went for brunch based the menu and genuine curiosity about how brunch style food would work at a hibachi grill place. I made a reservation for myself and three friends not knowing how busy it gets. When we got there, there were only a few other tables, meaning the serving and cooking staff were on top of everything and able to keep up. Aside from their more typical options (noodles, meat, etc.), they also had more brunch options, such as fruit, crepes, and omelettes. Since it's a hibachi place, they cook things in front of you, yet the staff pay special attention to ensuring the grill is cleaned in between meals and take the time for any special needs. The way they cook is true art! Needless to say, all the food was incredibly delicious. Before I forget - they have $3 mimosas, which is completely unheard of in Boston! My friends and I definitely enjoyed a few since it was worth the price. Overall, while Fire+Ice may not come to mind as a brunch spot, I highly recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Heather P.

Yelp
Ahhh - can I give them 10 stars? What an amazing meal! It's perfect- you can have whatever you want and they make it for you! The only suggestion I have is that for the indecisive there should be some suggestions... otherwise it's the most delicious dinner! Our server was attentive and helpful! Such fun! The chefs were enthusiastic and friendly!

Yelp
What you need to know about this place is that you're going to get what you paid for. What I mean by this is that you're paying $24.99 for all you can eat, so it's not going to be the cream of the crop. But don't get me wrong, it's not bad, it actually tastes pretty good. Also, it highly depends on what you put in your dish. So how this place works is you go up to the self serving stations where there is a plethora of different foods. You have proteins (chicken, steak, sausage, chorizo, etc.), veggies, carbs and a whole lot of sauces. You pile everything you want into your bowl and bring it to the grilling station. Remember to not put your sauce into the bowl, but use the little container provided at the sauce station (this is so your food doesn't have burnt sauce). At the grilling staton, in addition to the bowl you brought, you can get a hamburger and hot dog too. If you like traditional udon noodles where they're chewy and soft, don't get them here because they end up tasting like fried dduk (rice cake). The texture is not there for me, so I opted for the other kind of noodles, I believe they're egg noodles, much better texture once off the grill. Besides the food, the service was also something to note. Mike was attentive and made sure our water never ran low and we had lots of napkins. Overall, I think for the price that you're paying and for the location you're in, it's definitely worth it. Really good bang for your buck type of places.

Yelp
This story takes place when I was just a lad, but it had such a striking impact on my upbringing, I have no other option than to leave a 1 star review. The four words I'd use to describe that place are: give me a break. It was my sister's birthday, I'd say about 10 years ago. she asked to remain anonymous for this story so let's just call her Hurricane. First of all, you go to a restaurant because you want a chef to make food better than you could at home. This place makes you pick your own food and they just cook it on a big stove top. My food sucked. You know why? Because I'm not a cook. I had a bland ass burger because I'm unaware of how to make a good one. Spare me Also, when I already realized my night was ruined, I brought my hunk of raw meat over to be cooked at the community cooking station. One of the cooks asked if I wanted bacon. I said no because I wasn't in the mood. And he responded with "what're you on a diet?" He then called me a porker. Now this is when I was covered in baby fat blubber and self conscious about my weight. So how about you mind your business pal. Don't waste your time and spend money to essentially cook your own food. You can go to Walmart and get a 20$ cook top to make a mediocre stir fry without any of the headaches involved. Oh I forgot to mention, my stomach was in complete shambles for the following week and a half, I even had to use the John in school which is unheard of. I was humiliated. I hope that the nature of this restaurant has improved, I haven't been since this incident and I sure as hell don't plan on it.

Yelp
We went for the experience for the kids. Food was eh, subpar for sure. The idea is cool but the options and set up are lacking. We enjoyed something new but likely won't be back as it isn't really our thing and most of the meats didn't feel "fresh." The server was friendly and nice but management really should be more attentive to the entirety of the restaurant. I will say the desserts were the best part, super reasonable prices for what you get.

Yelp
Overall, this restaurant was great for our group of 90 individuals. Staff was friendly and service was great. The staff worked so hard on making sure our party and other very large parties were taking care of. The food was great and nobody had any complaints.

Yelp
I gave this place a try at the recommendation of a friend. I had a party of 8 and a reservation for 11:00am. I mentioned the time because it matters to the speed of service as 11:00am was opening time. The set up is like a MASSIVE hibachi grill (picture 6-8 all together), surrounded by buffets of fresh ingredients. Buffets included meat, veggies, pasta, sauces, etc of every kind that you put in a personal bowl and hand to the chef. He cooks it in front of you and you return to your table. The freshness, cooks skill and table service were awesome. The price is up there but you are getting dinner and a show with unlimited trips to the buffet to keep trying new things or to switch from savory to sweet. My table had a great, relaxing time and I would go again!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Gosh so this was an EVENT. This is an in-person, pick your own hibachi experience. Was mildly afraid of the salad given (witnessed) cross contamination... also noticed the tongs often fell into the food.. (the tongs people touched).. Good news is that the grille is very hot and there are ample personnel waiting to clear tables, bring water, clean tables, etc. Ambiance was cool... maybe would've sat downstairs next time? Like just taken the food and brought it down (we saw some people do that). Virgin pina colada was to die for... Line (circle grille) cooks seemed to work super hard. Wish I brought more money to tip them and less to tip the waiter (he took awhile and didn't really do anything). Found somebody else's salmon in my food... kinda made me feel eh. The people who I went with said they would go back... if our food was cooked in the back lol. I enjoyed that part of the experience!! Just the salmon situation :( yuck

Yelp
We had a group of 16 with three children- good for groups. If it is busy you will need to wait your turn for your food to be cooked, you need to be patient. The lettuce did not look to be fresh but it wasn't bad. The fish choices are pretty good along with steak and marinated chicken. So they added a 20% gratuity onto our check and the server only brought is drinks and barely cleared our table! That was a bit annoying. I'd rather of given the tip to the men working g the hibachi. Which they do have a tip jar. I'd go back again with a large group if I had to but do not expect bells and whistles here it feels more like a cruise ship to me -

Yelp
This place is amazing! It is all you can eat Mongolian BBQ. The options seem limitless; they have all kinds of meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles, burger buns etc... You can basically put together any food, from all cultures as you desire. It is a buffet of raw ingredients and sauces. We had so many plates of food, from Asian noodles with soy sesame flavors steak, clams and shrimp with garlic butter, Italian pasta, and even huge hamburgers. You just bring whatever ingredients you want to the big circle grill and the make it for you. The drinks are also wonderful! We got a mango Mai Thai, It was nice and refreshing. It's a busy place so making a reservation is a good idea. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

Mandy R.

Yelp
Not like other hibachi restaurants. Just cooking without the show that normally accompanies hibachi. You stand waiting for your food away from you table while your drink gets left unsupervised and gets watered down as the ice melts as you wait for your food. The buffet and the cooking is chaotic, crowded, and slow. It looks to be a hang out place for teens and not a great environment for a date or even for a group of adults looking to have a night out.

Yelp
I proposed to my wife while waiting for our food to be cooked. (2009) If I recall, the food was good. We're in Florida now

Yelp
Came by for lunch on the weekend while I was in Boston. Fire + Ice grill is definitely a unique concept. For lunch time it's $18.99 per adult and dinner time would be $23.99. This was a pretty fun experience! It's a fusion buffet style you choose a base, raw proteins and sauce (make sure it is on a separate from cup) and bring it to be big grill in center. It can get crowded since everyone is around the circle waiting for their food to be cooked. The chefs will help you cook it and mix it with the sauce. The quality is better when there is less people, I had one plate that was burnt. They also have salads, burgers and crepes.

Yelp
My best friend and I used to go to the Fire and Ice in Providence frequently in college 20 years ago. It was always a splurge and so much fun. We were meeting in Boston this past weekend and thought it'd be fun to do with our kiddos. The food is average. Lots of options. I love that we don't have to sit around waiting long periods with young kiddos. It's difficult to have meaningful conversation over dinner at a place like this as we were all taking turns going up to get new plates of food but it did the trick. Lots of flavor combos and 2 families of 4 were able to find options for all. We had reservations for 5:15 but were running a bit early. I called to see if they could seat us at 4:30 and they said they couldn't but they could seat us at 5. When we got there, the host told us we had to wait until our reservation time but that wasn't changed in the system. We still weren't seated by 5:20. That was annoying having 4 young kids in tow. But aside from that miscommunication - it was fine. Would I go back for a date night? No, but it did serve the purpose of decent food in a timely manner. Also the atmosphere is naturally loud and somewhat chaotic so it was great for kids!

Yelp
Ran into Fire+ice bar and grill on an outing. Didn't know what to expect but was absolutely pleased with the buffet style grill. Since I'm a person who is very indecisive, I was delighted to know I have an option to choose from the various meat and vegetables selection. The price wasn't too bad either consider that is how much I would have spent at a fast food chain. If you like variety and being able to watch your food being cooked, this is definitely a place worth trying.

Yelp
It was fine. Not great. We went in during appy hour. It took a very long time to get our loaded fries & 2 burgers. The place was empty and did not give off the cleanest vibe. The upstairs is probably better and bar downstairs an afterthought.

Yelp
Popped in for a complimentary bday dinner with my gf. The restaurant was dead and it was awesome. No waiting for an open spot at the grill and the food looked pretty fresh. I really enjoyed a chicken and veggie stir fry i made. That yakitori sauce is so good. I also had a few visits to the salad bar and that ranch dressing is so thick and lumpy and really seems homemade. Great ranch! My gf really enjoyed her veggie dish she made and her salad. I expected a bday song and cake but it for some reason didnt happen. Table near me did though? And my girl was drinking tequila on the rocks with lime wedges. Why is there a $0.50 charge for mixer when there was no mixer? Limes are free at the sauce bar so it really put out a nickel and diming vibe. Overall the food was great and the cooks were great. Thanks for the complimentary dinner though!

Yelp
The food and selection were very good. Having experienced hibachi cooking before, the additional ingredients make this a unique experience.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. Nothing special about it. You waste alit of time queuing and waiting for food to be cooked. Service is practically non-existent. We waited 15 minutes trying to flag our server to get the check and had to go to the hostess to finally get our check. It was a big disappointment. The only thing good I have to say is the cook staff at the grill were friendly and efficient. They did their best to try to cook everyone's food quickly. The guy at the omelette and pancake section of the grill was super sweet in cook a small size portion for me when I requested.

Yelp
I love this restaurant! Every time I come back home to Rhode Island I have to make this a priority. The unlimited dinner option for adults is $25.99 and includes unlimited trips to the grill. Some of the food items include various pastas, various kinds of protein, vegetables and salad and sauce and seasonings. Guaranteed to find some food for even the pickiest eater. They also have other food items on their menu if you don't want the unlimited dinner. The restaurant is 2 levels. The bottom has some seating and a bar. The upstairs has more seating, the grill and a bar. They have signature drinks and they are extremely inexpensive. Street parking is available. My waitress Lisette was extremely attentive and friendly. She came over repeatedly to see if I needed anything. Sad I'm only here for a short weekend and can't come back again this visit.

Yelp
Are they closed? Wanted to make a reservation for 25, called 11 times and no answer, sent an email, no reply.

Yelp
Made birthday reservations and as soon as we walked in bartender downstairs offered a free sample and made our two drinks and as we were about to take the drinks he grabbed our drinks and threw them into the sink and refused service for no reason ...

Yelp
amazing food, literally chose everything you want and chefs cook it all in front of you, occasionally a piece of another dish can get to yours but highly unlikely

Yelp
Would have gone 3 1/2 stars if available, but went with 4 because our waiter was excellent. Used to love this place back in the day. Food quality was just average to me. Price was good for all you can eat. Wouldn't avoid coming here - but wouldn't rush back either.

Yelp
My family of 5 went here for a birthday celebration for the first time since COVID, until now we weren't comfortable going, but we were happy to return as soon as we were seated. Large selection of food and drinks, and I guarantee you will not leave hungry. We will be back!

Yelp
My business partner selected this venue for an early dinner. What a treat. This is not the same, but very similar to the Mongolian Grill's located in different parts of the United States. We were there during the week and I am so happy we went when it opened at 4pm. I absolutely loved the selections of meats, veggies, spices, and even seafood to create a delicious "meal bowl." It is always a treat to watch the chef bring your creation to a mouth-watering entree. Fire & Ice is reasonably priced. $23 p/p (drinks extra but quite reasonable). You deserve seconds so you can enjoy the different spices and selections----I stayed away from a very enticing salad bar. It is there, but it will fill you up. Lastly, please tip your chef. He/she works very hard and is quite entertaining.

Yelp
I came here with some friends on a weekend and it was packed! I recommend a reservation or you will be waiting for a while. Of note, the host will not seat you till everyone in your party is physically here and they are pretty strict about this. The way it works here is that you grab mostly raw ingredients from the buffet, grab some sauce from the sauce station, and head towards the giant grill in the middle. I went mostly for the Steak, Shrimp, Mussel, Baby Clam, Chicken, Noodles, and Fried Rice. Dessert is not included and is extra. The grill is chaotic, it's crowded and there is not enough space on the grill to cook everyone's food so you will probably be waiting for a spot to open up. There is usually an employee directing you where to line up. The food was flavorful, it's like Mongolian BBQ, but on a larger scale. They also serve drinks here and there is a bar area downstairs. The environment here is super loud so expect to yell to talk to the person in front of you. Overall, I would come here again, but on a weekday and not a weekend to avoid the line to get in and the line for the grill.
