"This expansive restaurant’s menu shifts seamlessly from morning to evening and includes a weekend brunch service. Dishes change seasonally but expect options like Red Lake walleye with wild rice, sweet potato croquettes served with maple mustard, and spit-roasted prime rib with white cheddar mashed potatoes. Save room for peanut butter mousse cake and maybe a hazelnut espresso martini nightcap. Find it on level two at the Radisson Blu." - Eater Staff, Justine Jones

Fabulous breakfast! The food and service is always good here. We decided to try a later breakfast before we hit up the mall. The food was made fresh and tastes so good. The fresh squeezed orange juice is AMAZING! The hot croissant with the butter and raspberry jam was so good. It was buttery, crispy and flaky. The butter and jam were so good on top of it, definitely recommend. The pancakes with fresh fruit, the pancakes were huge but hot and tasty. The homemade syrup is a must try as well. My Midwest omelet was really good, I am glad I tried it this time around. We had a wonderful waitress and she even brought a special treat for the birthday girl. Thank you for making our morning start off this way, we truly appreciate it. The restaurant wasn't packed and quiet, we truly enjoyed it. There were other people but they staggered the tables, which I applaud them for.

We arrived at FireLake around 10:30 AM for breakfast and were seated quickly thanks to our reservation. The restaurant was fairly quiet at that time, which made for a relaxed start to the day. The food was absolutely outstanding. The house made ketchup honestly surprised me. I don’t typically use ketchup on hash browns, but this one changed that. It was full of flavor. And the jam served with the meal was easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We ordered a combination of the farmhouse breakfast, a skillet, and a smoothie, and everything was cooked perfectly. It was a great way to kick off the birthday weekend. The only issue was finding the place. It is actually located inside the Radisson Blu on the north side of Mall of America, not the JW Marriott as some maps suggest. Once we got there, everything hit the way it should.

Stopped in for an early dinner and had a good time. The popovers as appetizers with honey butter was good but they came out cool. The chicken wild rice soup was ok, nothing special about it . For dinner we had braised short rib and pork chop meals. Both dishes taste great and the sauces that accompanied them were excellent.

Google
Farm house breakfast with raspberry jam and blueberry blitz waffle were great. My server was very attentive and when she knew I was stuck there due to my flight cancelation she offered coffee on the house and told me to stay as long as I need. How sweet! Thank you.

Google
Absolutely AMAZING !!!! Caleb was our server & I can admit, he’s the BEST person to have help you. He’s super genuine & honest about what’s best on the menu. The food was super fresh & delicious!!!!! I would absolutely come back one day when I visit Minnesota again.

Google
It was a beautiful restaurant plus the service was so friendly. The food was delicious, including the sweet matcha latte. The parking was simple, just park at Radisson blu Hotel and bring the ticket to the restaurant and there wasn't a charge.

Google
Got a little turned around in the mall and ended up here, and was not disappointed! Great portion sizes, the alcohol was mixed nicely and had some great views of the city. The food came out quick and had some great taste, and above all, the waiter actually gave us time to eat and not constantly checking up on us.

Google
I ordered walleye cakes for room service. Not only were the cakes terrible, it was some of the worst food I've ever eaten out. The outside crust tasted like breakfast sausage. I think they were cooking sausage for the next day's breakfast, got my order, then cooked the cakes in the same pan and oil. There was also no discernible walleye. It was a blended pate with no chunks or taste of walleye. If you can't make a walleye cake in MN, take them off your menu. Two dollar coin sized cakes that you should not be proud to serve.

Yelp
Excellent service from our waiter and the manager they were very accommodating for my gluten free issues. I had the walley fish it was excellent , someone at the table had the steak wedge and another had the walley fish standard menu item. We went back for desert the next day! I had the crème brûlée and someone had the peanut butter chocolate cake which was very rich they said. Can't wait to go again next year sorry no photos. Everything was great. The ambience was awesome beautiful view big dining area comfortable seating.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem!! From their prime rib to pork belly bites to wings... I've never had a bad meal here! Atmosphere is amazing and the service is usually very good but can be a little off. I prefer sitting at the bar as it's fast and usually very friendly.

Yelp
Upscale setting in an upscale hotel (at the Mall of America) The environment is nice with the dim lit atmosphere, decor, and seating. I tried several of their new fall items and was pleasantly surprised. The Autumn Stroll cocktail was absolute chefs kiss to start things off. I had the sweet potato croquettes which were so good with the maple mustard sauce for dipping. I wish they had a bit more flavor on their own however. For main course, I did the braised short rib which was absolutely fire. Great flavor/seasoning, and fell off the bone. The grits on the side were good, but felt like they were messing something. Not bad at all, just wanted more. The maque choux side on the other hand was top notch. Maybe the grits were perfectly fine but blown out the water by the maque choux? Lastly, had the Warm Honey & Fig Crostata with Sebastian Joes ice cream was the perfect finish to the meal. Can't wrap this review without mentioning the waiter who was prompt, knowledgeable, and super attentive. Solid experience.

Yvette K.

Yelp
Food is high quality and service is prompt. They are known for their rotisserie chicken and drinks. It's a lovely location inside the Radisson Blu hotel Standouts were the cheese curds best ones we have ever had. Great selection of craft cocktails, beers and wine

Ravi S.

Yelp
Went with my friends recently. Just was craving breakfast. Everyone enjoyed their orders. The favorite was definitely the blueberry waffles with granola. That was great! I got the avocado eggs Benedict and that was also good! Service was decent and the restaurant itself was quite nice. Didn't try any drinks other than the OJ (that was good but wish it was colder) but seems like they had a fair number of options!

Yelp
On our quick getaway to Minnesota we came to Mall of America, why not check that box off! We dined at FireLake for breakfast since it's in the Mall. Host was nice but we did have to wait for a seat even with a reservation. Our waiter was attentive at the beginning. Towards the end he was hard to find. Ambiance is beautiful, the restaurant is gorgeous. Very beautifully decorated. Light fixtures and sleek contemporary touches make this a gem! Let's get into it! Coffee - Great Roast! Very good! Breakfast Burrito - Filled with avocado and I was able to substitute sausage for bacon! Very good! Farmhouse Breakfast - Very good! I would highly recommend this place for breakfast!

Yelp
Considering that this is in the Radisson Blu hotel, I expected much more. Much higher prices and lower quality. I was very pleasantly surprised. Sidling up to the bar, I asked for the menu and settled on a glass of Italian Super Tuscan red. I decided that the margarita flatbread would be just the thing to go along with that, and I was not disappointed. The prices were quite reasonable, considering that it's a restaurant attached to a hotel, which usually carries a hefty "convenience premium." And the food was quite good. What really impressed me, though, was the incredible selection of single malt scotches. Everything from a pedestrian grocery store brand to a 30 year old Macallans. And servers who have some appreciation for the scotches. At $260 per pour, I doubt that I'll be indulging in the Macallans 30, but there are plenty of others closer to my preferred price point. I strongly suspect I'll be back. Perhaps several times.

Yelp
Sean was our excellent server! He gave good guidance and all 3 of us chose the Red Lake Walleye with wild rice and remoulade sauce. It arrived piping hot and It was outstanding, accompanied by an equally outstanding New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, new to this restaurant. What a beautiful restaurant in the Radisson Blu at MOA. Wish I could have had room for dessert . .

Richard V.

Yelp
The place itself is a spectacle and feels very upscale. Its a bit weird how they have the place set up, but the seating is spacious. That said, this was an underwhelming experience. The service was mediocre at best as our waiter was hit and miss of when we would see them. The food was not great. The Wildeye Crab Cakes were okay at best, it was more batter than fish which didn't allow you to get the taste of the fish. The salad was a salad with my steak being undercooked from what I wanted. My friend got the wild eye platter and thought it was fine. The banana pudding was upscale BP that didn't need to be. Its an easy desert, no need to make it fancy. Overall, for the price ($150 with tip) it was very mediocre and wouldn't recommend.

Raj D.

Yelp
My children decided to bring me here for an early Birthday and Father's Day dinner. We got Brandon's favorite, the miso glazed salmon, Madison got a grilled cheese sandwich (no tomato basil soup though), Krishnan got the Margherita Flatbread. I got the pork chop. We got to try a bit of each other's food. The taste was over all quite good. Also the dessert was Crème Brûlée. It was excellent.

Nakita K.

Yelp
Omg where do I start!? This unexpecting restaurant within the hotel next to the mall has everything you'd want in a 5 star experience! We chose this place based on the ambiance and proximity to our suburban surrounding not knowing what a wonderfully affordable dinner we would be getting into! While I recommend leveraging the mall parking as opposed to the hotel to save a few bucks, It's an easy walk into the hotel with a sky bridge on the second floor that leads you right to the restaurant. Once there, you're instantly transported to an update modern rustic lodge like feel where you already are treated like luxury. With a spacious dining room and option to sit at the bar, there is plenty of space to stretch out. We stayed two hours, and started with a cocktail, I had a BluCubed, which in presentation alone was worth it! We ordered a cheese board (sorry no picks! We enjoyed it too fast!) it had a great variety and a mix of meats, nuts, breads, cheeses, and fruits, and more! After enjoying that for the first hour, and the awesome atmosphere, we then moved on to the main course, turkey burger and cheese burger with bacon. Both exceeded expectations and were well seasoned with herbs and delicious spices. Even the catsup had a hint of cinnamon! We had another drink, this time the Minni-Apple Bliss, a delicious light rum and cinnamon flavored apple drink that once again met/exceeded expectations! Our server was wonderfully attentive the entire time and made sure there was never a moment where we were alone. This honestly felt like a city experience in the suburbs, and I can't be more excited or pleased to tell you at the end of the night we were honestly positively shocked at the price of our dinner experience. 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of champagne, cheese board, 2 burgers, and 1 desert, less than 2 bills! Plenty of room for a tip and we couldn't be more happy to have given one! If we HAD to provide feedback or criticisms on anything it would be that we would have liked a bigger dish type for our burgers to be able to maneuver them (but honestly the extra appetizer plates supplemented well), and we wished there were more than just a couple of stalls in the bathrooms, but otherwise minor things that didn't really impact our dining experience! This is the secret spot folks. While local businesses are still good to support, I feel like this restaurant is pure SLEPT ON! Definitely check it out! We will gladly be back here again!!

Yelp
3.5 rounded up Even though the restaurant is attached to MOA, the parking situation near the front door was busy and packed. We opted to walk around the mall a little bit because the stores were closed in order to get to the restaurant. Although it wasn't optimal, it did give us time to work up an appetite and burn calories in the process. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. The lights and the view were amazing. I can't comment about the salmon because I didn't eat it but was told that it was "alright". The Minnesota wild soup was fantastic, I should have opted for the bigger bowl because it was delicious, and creamy, and the bread paired with it made it even more tantalizing. The margherita flatbread was basic, there wasn't anything that was mindblowing about it but it wasn't bad either. The cheese curds would have been better if it wasn't cold when it hit the table but we were so hungry that we ate it anyway. The winner of the night was the mason jar peanut butter pie. I loooove peanut butter so this was right up my alley. It was smooth, savory, and not too sweet, which I appreciated.

Crystal D.

Yelp
On a weekday morning the restaurant only had a handful of guests dining. I joined some friends from out of state for breakfast while they were waiting for the MOA to open. This was the perfect location for this and had the best breakfast food in the area. I had the avocado brioche Benedict with hash browns. The Benedict included Minnesota back bacon which was thick and apple wood smoked so full of flavor! It also had grilled tomato and hollandaise sauce. The ketchup was great with the hash browns! Definitely recommend this for breakfast. They do have a seasonal menu so this could always include some changes with the season!

Yelp
If you want a really nice meal while visiting Mall of America. This restaurant is a great place and the food was definitely worth the price. If you don't want fast food and want to enjoy a sit down meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Maggie V.

Yelp
We had a great brunch at this restaurant. It had a great variety for our picky eaters. Our server was amazing. They were very busy but she was attentive. And it was a bright airy space. Definitely would go back if we are in town.

Becca S.

Yelp
I was staying at the Radisson and initially ventured into the mall to grab a glass of wine after my flight. That was a mistake. There are lots of options, but the mall was PACKED. I had just gotten in from a flight and wasn't looking for a crowd so I made it back to the hotel and into FireLake. The service was weird. The guy who helped me then disappeared. Never to be seen again. Then I just...sat. Never asked if I wanted anything else, never brought me a different menu, as it changed while I was sitting there. Then someone else just came by and dropped a bill in a shot glass in front of me. Ok. Then, to my surprise, they have a 14% sales tax on alcohol here. Now, that is not the fault of the establishment. That just ended up being a very expensive drink with mediocre service. The decor was nice, and I saw another bartender there hustling and he seemed friendly. I don't know what happened over on my side.

Khondker I.

Yelp
After a long flight here , I was exhausted. I didn't have time and energy to go out of the hotel for lunch. I decided to have something to extinguish my hunger. Yes, it was FireLake Grill house. The ambience was simple. The environment was quiet and I was happy. The menu is simple and short. They don't have anything special. The walleye cakes were flavorless and lack seasoning. it was almost tasteless. The flatiron steak was not done correctly, it was well done. I wish they had different hot sauces. The service was fast. The price was reasonable.

Art C.

Yelp
Don't even get me started on how we ended up eating in a mall in Bloomington... But we did, and I have to say, the food was quite good actually. Ambiance-wise, I mean it's a mall. There's crap on the floor and on the seats where someone obviously couldn't care less about cleaning things. I mean the service as a whole was well... mall-like. But I can't fault them foodwise. Their grilled stuff was great (it better be if they put it in the name) and we even enjoyed some of the local specialities... Not a bad night out for eating in a mall...

Shamir W.

Yelp
Stopped by this place for dinner the other night with a couple of friends. We were headed out to a show and the mall was a central place to meet. This is at the Radisson Blu at the Mall of America. The restaurant is clean and has tall ceilings and an open and airy feel. The decor is very reminiscent of most restaurants of this caliber. What I would call casual classy. We had reservations and got seated right away. The server came over right away with water and helped us decide on drinks. Was also very helpful with the choices for entrees. We had a bunch of drinks and they were all very good. From fruity and fresh to decadent and spirit forward. The food was good too. The prime rib sandwich and the walleye being the standouts. The burger and steak were good but nothing special. Overall a pleasant experience and would consider this spot if we need something in the area.

Erin C.

Yelp
On the lake, great view, good pesto pizza, nice little starters (complimentary) and the most delicious old fashioned :)

Chelsey S.

Yelp
Service was wonderful. Our waiter was funny and personable. He provided plenty of insight. The space is big, open, and beautiful. I love the light fixtures and seating. We went for brunch, and both my husband and I were happy with our meals. The eggs were cooked well. My skillet was a little potatoe heavy, but overall good.

Cassie M.

Yelp
Stopped by FireLake while staying at the Radisson since the restaurant is conveniently located just right at the bottom of the elevators. Let me start by saying that the restaurant is very beautiful and perfect for a date night or a nice dinner and drinks with friends. Although I didn't order any alcohol, the drink menu is extensive (especially the wine selection). Staff was very friendly, however, we waited a long time to be seated because the hostess was taking takeout orders at the entrance. I feel as though they should implement a more convenient and efficient way to place to-go orders so that people who are waiting to dine in don't have to wait as long My friend ordered the brisket and ribs dish and this was soooo yummy. The cornbread and the butter was perfect and the meat was very tender. I ordered the FireLake Walleye Sandwich and this was not good... the sandwich was massive but the walleye cakes in it were so mushy and lacked flavor. The bun tasted stale and the fries were not crispy. I think they make the ketchup in house but that wasn't very good either, it tasted like tomato sauce.

Jodie H.

Yelp
This restaurant meets all of our expectations! The food is freshly made and delicious. Our bartender is friendly and helpful. The managers came to check on us multiple times during our meal to make sure everything was good. The bonus part is the bar has a wide variety of bourbon and whiskey to choose from. The price is also very reasonable! We will definitely come back here when we come visit Minnesota again. Thank you for serving us an amazing meal and great drinks!

Victor M.

Yelp
We made a trip to the mall to do some shopping and then we got hungry so we stopped in again. For a weekend the place was very empty and we were seated immediately. We were approached by our server Shawn who was amazing. We ordered a few glassed of wine and started off with thier pop overs and brocolini tots. The pop over was very flavourful and fluffy. We then smothered them in butter The tots were amazing and as you bite into them the flavors bust in your mouth. The sauce for them is ok and goes well buy these are so good even without. Shawn came over several times and made recommendations on the menu. He was very upbeat and cheerful and patient with us as we spent lots of time talking before ordering. We then ordered the salmon and the fillet mignon. The salmon was very good. It was moist and tender and fell apart. It went well with everything in the plate. The fillet mignon was divine. It was rare how I like it and cut well. The delicious morsels had great flavor. I however scareped off all the junk they put on the top. The Brussel spouts were well roasted and gave you a nice change in flavors so that the steak was better and better with each bite. While there Shawn took very good care of us and allowed us time without rushing us. Besides the food he made the experience amazing.

T M.

Yelp
Had a great dining experience- great waiter and great food. The Bone Marrow was an 11 out of 10!!!!!

Lori F.

Yelp
The staff are sweet and super helpful. They want everything to go right. The kitchen is confused and probably lacking an actual chef. The menu does not mention that they have gluten free bread nor turkey sausage. We had to ask the waiter to get the manager because he identified things as gluten free but then said they were not safe because they had butter. After picking the walleye hash and being told the hollandaise and potatoes were safe they came back and let is know the walleye had a flour coating. So they substituted turkey sausage. The one not on the menu. Then the over easy eggs came out with whites that were still raw and clear. Not even under cooked but raw. They took it back and cooked it. I didn't realize until the table next to us was served that we never got our hollandaise. The table next to us didn't have any special requests and still got brought the wrong order. If they could actually put together a menu that reflects what they serve and then get those items cooked appropriately and the correct order to the table it would be worth $20 for breakfast. The hot chocolate was amazing (although it had foam and not whipped cream). Tomorrow we will go to IHOP instead.

Alice S.

Yelp
Food is good and service sucks . Waiter took forever to bring food and check . Pork chops tasted great and so did the fish .

Dawn C.

Yelp
I'm glad hotel restaurants have made a turn for good quality food. This was a nice, easy place to get local food. I tried the Minnesota salad and smoked pork chop. Both were delightful. That giant $20 cocktail lasted me all meal. Cheers, to comfort food a elevator ride away from your hotel room. Some gluten-free and dairy-free options. They had to customize a dish for me.

Catherine T.

Yelp
The ambiance is nice. Despite heavy foot traffic it's nice and quiet. Service is great. They're able to accommodate last minute reservations requests. Food was good. Loved some of the flavor. Portion sizes are smaller than normal. Ate breakfast and dinner here though so it's a good spot.

Roxanne R.

Yelp
The food was great. The service was fantastic. I retreated here while my children shopped. I wasn't rushed out the door. I was welcomed for as long as I wanted to Suni my sofa and read my book after I finished my meal.

Emily G.

Yelp
The food was incredible--we truly experienced the authentic flavors of Minnesota. Our server, John, was extremely knowledgeable in his recommendations.

Thomas H.

Yelp
I had the fish and chips. My step mother had the black and bleu salad. We shared the sweet potato croquettes and sweet chili brussel sprouts. All were very delicious. We also enjoyed wines from their very expansive wine selection. The service staff was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Cheerful A.

Yelp
I had a really pleasant dining experience here! The food is pretty good, with a nice variety of flavors that cater to different tastes. The service is comfortable, striking a good balance between attentiveness and giving you space to enjoy your meal. The eating environment is fine--clean and well-maintained, though nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it's a solid choice for a nice meal out. Definitely worth visiting!

George C.

Yelp
My daughter and son in law brought me here for lunch sometime last week. It was my first time visiting, and it surely won't be my last. I'm quite the simple guy when it comes to ordering food. My long time go-to has always been fish and chips wherever they offer this platter. I've got to say, I truly enjoyed every bite of my fish and chips. It had the perfect crispness to the fish and the fries were great. Not a huge fan of coleslaw though. Next time, I will ask to substitute with more fries instead, if possible. Our server was very outgoing and attentive. We did not have to flag down our server whenever we needed something. It was an interesting atmosphere. I've never been to a farm-like bar setting before. I'm sure my wife would enjoy this place as much as I did, so I will be bringing her along the next time I visit.

Evonne H.

Yelp
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu and I dined at the Fire Lake Grille on my last night there. Sadly, I was very disappointed. The food just lacked flavor. The plating was beautiful, but the food was bland. The walleye cakes had no flavor and lacked crunch. It was soggy and I didn't care for the bun. The backyard burger was the same. It lacked flavor completely. The popovers were very bland and you had to use the whole honey butter to give it some flavor. Out of the whole meal, the fries were outstanding so I recommend those. If I stayed again, I would not waste my money.

Deanne N.

Yelp
Amazing food service and atmosphere. Homemade honey butter and use of Mn produce puts it above the rest !!

Molly A.

Yelp
In short - it was okay. Venue and decor seemed nice. Service was good. But food fairly pricey for what tasted like "hotel restaurant food." Prime rib was pricey ($48) for a rather underwhelming piece of meat. And honestly I hate when on the menu it says "with asparagus" and you literally get 2 spears. Come on. Don't bother listing it then. Husband got a chicken and waffles that was also meh. Paid $14 for the kiddo's grilled cheese. Maybe it was an off night, or we didn't pick the best items off the menu. But I don't plan to return. For a better meal at comparable if not slightly better pricing when dining at a nicer sit-down MoA place, would recommend Twin City Grill over this place by quite a bit.

Justin C.

Yelp
Ambiance was surprisingly nice and quant for a business lunch. Waiter was prompt (it was a slow day) and eager to tell us all about the menu and describe multiple dishes. Food was good and the bone marrow presentation was top notch will take others just for this lighter lunch.

Tracey F.

Yelp
Middle of the road rating. Some things were good, others not. Let's start with the good. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy their drinks, so i would definitely say the bar is where it's at here. We also had some cheese curds for an appetizer which were good (the homemade ketchup was delicious). Someone else also tried the chicken wild rice soup that looked wonderful, lots of rice and thick and creamy. Service here was also good. What we didn't like...all of our dishes kind of missed the mark. I had the mushroom gnudi. Gnudi is usually gnocchi minus the potato (more like a cheese and herb dumpling). Definitely not what this was. Kind of a dry potato dumpling with not a lot of flavor (or cheese of any sort). Also got the popovers to go with dinner, and they weren't the nice fluffy insides I am used to. 2 in the group got the corn crusted walleye and seemed a bit disappointed, mostly by the "crust" on the fish. It was more like corn meal. Another had the salmon, which actually looked good, but they commented it was a bit dry. Also tried the lemon ricotta cheesecake which had a lovely citrus bite complimented by the sweet berries on top. Overall, service and drinks were good, but may only stop in for an appetizer rather than dinner next time.

Joan F.

Yelp
Went for Thanksgiving with family. Ordered from regular menu. Very pleasant seating area. Perfect noise level for visiting. Everyone was pleased with their orders.

Jam M.

Yelp
Tomahawk! So tasty!!! Hat off to the chef! This is a beautiful restaurant. Love the atmosphere! However, the food was very tasteful. The staff are very friendly and outgoing. Come if you are ever in the area! The only downfall is, spending lots of dough, you think there would be bread on the table while waiting on your food. Something, I don't care if it's peanuts! Still rating 5 stars!

Katrena H.

Yelp
The server, Marianne was exceptional. The cocktails were awesome!!! The garden omelette was light and flavorful. The ambiance is modern rustic and great start to the morning .. Fantastic start to a long day.

Milou I.

Yelp
Very good restaurant. Just went in for a little snack before nighttime. The fries were amazing and the pop over French dip was also finger licking good. The bird was crunchy and crispy at the cheese was goey I thought I would only have a bite, but I finish the whole plate.

Laci G.

Yelp
My brunch began with and dry wings appetizer they were delish ...crispy skin fried to perfection seasoned well and not over cooked. They served it with a spicy apricot mango spicy sauce..so good I asked to take some to go. I like "extra spicy", so I added a few dashes of their bottled hot sauce called "cry baby Craig's" So Good! The best wings I've had in a while. My flat iron steak was precisely perfectly medium grilled so well and marinated long to be flavored inside out! It melted in my mouth so juicy moist and delicious. I've had there steak before at brunch and it used to be served with their in-house made steak sauce... they used to sell it... but now you must ask for it in the side. I'm so sad I could buy a bottle anymore. The fries were good but I'm more of a salad person. I loved everything and to best part was my Very Polite and helpful server Katie. Not only my was she nice, but very knowledgeable about the new menu items and I appreciated that. I loved her suggested Lemon Mimosa ! Refreshing!

Ashley M.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was fast even with a full dining room. Loved the more quiet ambiance vs how loud the mall can be.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
We came here as a family during our stay at the Radisson Blu after a busy afternoon at the Mall of America. I grew up in Minnesota, but have spent the last two decades in California. Whenever I visit, I always seek out the food of my memories. FireLake delivered. The ambiance was lovely, relaxing, quiet, with large windows and an upscale feel. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We ordered the popovers, which fulfilled all of my midwest food dreams. They were ginormous, crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. We also ordered the Charcuterie and cheese plate. The meat and cheeses were all locally sourced and delicious. I ordered the Wild Rice soup as my main course, the large bowl is very large, and in retrospect, given the amount of the rest of the food, I should have ordered the smaller size. My husband ordered the BBQ ribs and Brisket Duo. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. Due to the fact it opens early, we also stopped by for coffee and a quick breakfast for the child before our flight. Service was not as quick as I. had hoped for, however, sufficient. However, the coffee was delicious, and let's face it that is the most important.

Yelp
After eating at many not so great places within the Mall of America, we were delighted to find that the restaurant right in our hotel was fantastic. We went for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful and clean. Our server was professional and prompt and our food was delicious. I highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice, walleye hash, and prime rib hash. Our kids were also happy with their kids' meals.

Yelp
As someone who has lived in either DC or Texas his whole life I wanted to try as many local foods on my trip to Minnesota. This restaurant was nice because it was one of the few I could find that would allow me to check off a bunch of them at once: walleye, wild rice, and cheese curds. Since I'm not a local I am not the best judge against the same dishes in the area but I can say this as a foodie: - Cheese curds were awesome, not sure why this isn't more mainstream where I'm from. Sauces complemented them well - Walleye fish cakes had a good flavor but I wouldn't say anything memorable. - I didn't really like the wild rice pilaf which could just be me and wild rice not matching rather than poor preparation. To me it lacked flavor and was a bit dry -- probably would've been better in a soup which I know is a thing Overall it was nice to have the opportunity to try a lot of the local foods in one place. However unqualified I am on the local food scene, I would be confident in saying if you wanted one of the dishes in particular you could probably get a better food experience elsewhere, especially with the food being on pricier side being affiliated with a hotel and all. Service was decent.
