Although I had an issue here which I'll eventually get to, this is a good restaurant which will very likely have multiple things on its menu which you will find to be delicious and awesome.
The menu here is the perfect size; it has plenty of options, enough that it's tricky to pick something, but not so much that they don't seem focused on what they're good at. I'd call this "Cuisine Americana", if there were such a term. Maybe there is, I don't know. It's burgers and pizza and pasta and sandwiches and meat/potatoes. The atmosphere is bistro-y, but with a fire pit thing out front. It's nice, all of it.
I've come here twice now with family members, and there was a lot of enthusiasm for what was served. We started this visit by splitting an appetizer of "Asian fries", which was French fries covered with tender Asian-style BBQ beef, and some other sauce. Loved it. Tasty and generously portioned for an appetizer. Too much for just one person. The entrees we tucked into with gusto included a small vegetarian pizza with an appealingly-rather-thin crust, as well as a massive meatloaf dinner which my cousin passionately believed was deserving of a strongly positive mention in this here review. Done.
I ordered baked rigatoni, which unfortunately came to me in a state of undercookedness. It was cold in the middle. Our server was easily reachable immediately (she was always nearby, really), and she whisked it back to the oven and eventually returned it in the originally intended state, while promising to leave it off the bill. She definitely made it right, and left me confident that this establishment doesn't tolerate such mediocrity. I was pleased with her service throughout the night.
I'm not sure if this was a Monday thing or what, but everything from the bar was 2-for-1 all night. We took advantage.
I like this place, and will definitely return. It's clear that they care about the quality of their dishes. I want to go back soon and get one of those tasty-looking little pizzas, and maybe those Asian fries again.
