Delicious artisan wood fired pizzas! Casual and cozy atmosphere, patio available, good selection of pizzas or make your own. 1/2 price wines on the Wednesday I was there. Loved the signature meatball appetizer! Happy to support this local restaurant! Great service too!

Faith

Google
We love Fireside! The waitstaff is always very attentive and friendly and there's great food and drinks to match! You can substitute any topping on specialty pizzas, but I promise you won't go wrong with any one of them. The salads are really good too, and are more than enough for two. We recommend the Balsamic Chicken and Medi pies, and the Moscow Mule and Grapefruit Rickey for drinks.

Google
Love Fireside pies! The Shrimp scampi and the mushroom arugula pie cannot go wrong. Ask for Balsamic Chicken topping on Burrata pesto pie. They do add new flavours every now and then, I only wish they do that more often!

Nicholas Martin

Google
The stuffed pepper appetizer might be one of the best things ever tasted. Great experience and great pizza. Hard to go wrong based on everything we ordered, but you would highly recommend you try some peppadews.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTravels. First time here. Nice ambiance as we sat in front of the fireplace. Diane has the Prosciutto and Parm and I had the Premium Meats. Everything was good except for the Prosciutto on mine which had been cut thick and ended up being too tough. The rest of it was great. They ended up not charging me for mine because of the Prosciutto even though I ate the whole thing. Nice spot for wood fired pizza. Service was great. Definitely would try them again.

Google
Enjoyed the pizza we ordered, but it was a little weird. Strawberry balsamic with chicken. The strawberry part was jam that replaced the sauce. The pizza was good but too sweet. We asked for bleu cheese crumbles to offset the sweetness. Garlic bites were good as well. Overall, it was a good experience and a relaxing time.

Google
The foods were good. I was served with a sample drink before I made my choice and it was just great. The inside and outside space is great. You might have some parking problem during busy hours. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable visit.

Google
This place was recommended by a friend on the basis of the thin, crispy but soft crust. We order the balsamic chicken and medi and the freshness did not disappoint! Chasi and Amanda were charismatic waitresses who made sure were taken care of at all times. My new go to for pizza!!

Yelp
What a spectacular find!! This diamond in the rough was a last minute decision when the restaurant we went to had a 45 minute wait and the hostess actually recommended it to us. We pulled up and were immediately sat at a booth (no wait on a Saturday night!) the waitress was very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere is very conversation and relaxation friendly. There was no intensely loud music that you have to yell over. It was very cozy and exactly what you want for a date atmosphere or just catching up with friends. From where we sat, I could watch the chef throwing the pizza dough and making the pizzas in real time. It was truly dinner and a show. We got the garlic knots with the in-house made roasted marinara sauce. They had freshly grated Parmesan on top and the sauce had a perfect tomato bite to it. It is a very unique sauce that I asked for as much as they would let me take to go. I could literally dip anything in this sauce and it be good. The pizzas were delicious! The dough had great flavor. The cornucopia pie had some thick slices of zucchini and I personally prefer them a bit thinner, but that is my only slight complaint. The pesto on top and ricotta cheese added so much flavor, I didn't think about it twice. My boyfriend had the prosciutto pie and the salty prosciutto and cheese on top, it is easily something we look forward to getting again! All in all, this restaurant is an amazing find and somewhere we will definitely be returning!!

Yelp
November 11, 2023. This restaurant is closed permanently. Too bad, we loved Fireside Pies.

Yelp
the caesar salad was very tasty and crisp, the sauce with it made it nice and refreshing. The bbq chicken had good flavor and crisp but needed more bbq sauce... a lot more. the prosciutto & parm pie was very thinly cooked just like the bbq. i also feel that this pizza could've used more sauce and crunch. it would take so much better if they had something you could dip the pizza in. after all this the desert came out, which was a cast iron with this sweet syrup that had granola, bananas and what tasted like pecans or some kind of nut. on top of this delicious mess there were two vanilla bean scoops of ice cream. If christmas had a taste this would be it. the service was friendly and knowledgeable, along with the ambiance giving of a very open energy. at the front area there was no wall and you could see the kitchen which felt welcoming.

Yelp
Having lived in Chicago and New York City, I don't say this lightly: but this is one of the best pizzas we've had! The magic lies in the dough: it's thin, airy, and chewy all at the same time. The Garlic Bites appetizer is a delicious preview of the dough. The Hawaiian pizza had the perfect balance of tart (balsamic), sweet (pineapple) and spicy (jalapenos). If you're weak like me, just remove the green jalapeno bits before digging in. Their outdoor patio is lovely and offset from Henderson Ave. The waitstaff were certainly hustling on the busy Saturday night. Yet they managed to deliver prompt & friendly service - we were as impressed with them as with the dough!

Yelp
Best pizza in Dallas. Always so fresh w a great vibe in the restaurant. Very light pizza w tons of different mixtures you can also do. Definitely sit outside!

Yelp
I hadn't been to FSP in 10 years,so I was excited for my friends and I to meet up there.I recall a fabulous time and establishment on my last visit sitting in a cozy dining area having great food and conversation. That wasn't the case this time... my friend got there early and got a table, when I arrived it was right in the front door and in the corner. When I suggested we move to the actual dining area our waiter informed us there was a select party that had that area. As more of us showed up and also asked about moving we informed them of the same because it was cold sitting so close to the door. The waiter was good, the food wasn't bad,not as good as I remember and the party never arrived the whole time we were there. Unsure about going back.

Yelp
Went to Fireside Pies at Henderson in Dallas Saturday night and it was GREAT! great service, prompt delicious Pizza and drinks. They were out of their famous cheesecake but we settled for the apple crisp and ice cream which was delicious! We'll be back!!!!!

Cyrus M.

Yelp
THIS SHIT WAS GAS Service solid and I'm a sucker for the ole Parmesan, arugula, and prosciutto pizza.

Shayal V.

Yelp
Spinach artichoke dip was delicious, served with crispy pizza dough chips. The garlic white was strongly garlic in the best way and not overly heavy. Bbq chicken wasn't as sweet as most bbq chicken pizza is, but it had a more complex flavor and the chicken was soft and tender. Perfect crispy crust and friendly service.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Love the outdoor patio in the winter time! They had the fireplace on and the heaters, it was so warm! Split a bottle of wine, the garlic knots. Its a low key yet solid spot.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Love this little place. So cute outside. The pizza is soo good. Wood fired. If you sit outside be careful. The bugs can be pesty. Definitely will be back!!!

Buddy H.

Yelp
I've eaten here a dozen times for FIVE STAR excellent wheat flour crust pizza, but not the cauliflower crust pizza I had tonight. If you've gone keto like me, maybe make the exception to your keto dietary preferences, because the cauliflower crust (additional $3) is only average, at best. It's a smaller, less flavorful version made from a FROZEN cauliflower crust; hence a poor value. Why an upcharge for a lesser overall product? Why no artisan crust? Cauliflower and other non-wheat crust can be made with artisan techniques and ingredients too. Cauliflower crust technique number 1 - wrap crust edges with foil to prevent burning. Burnt cauliflower crust becomes bitter. Fireside Pies is otherwise the best wheat-crust based pizza in Dallas. But, only TWO SYARS, for lack of commitment to refined pizza artisanry and an obvious unequal value for cauliflower crust pizza.

Matthew H.

Yelp
O my! Ordered the margherita pie and the ham and pineapple. Wow, the drizzle on the ham goes so well with the salty flavor of the ham. This was a super easy drive thru and on your way you go! Great stop and good food!

Nick P.

Yelp
Someone that's from New York I truly enjoy this place and everything they have to offer. It's obviously not a New York pie from what I'm used to but I love the different take on their pies/ the variety. The staff adds to it all with how welcoming and authentic they are. I'll never forget I ordered from the side and it was pouring and I went to grab my food and the one staff member walked me to the car with her umbrella. Truly genuine people and great food.

Ryan N.

Yelp
One of my go-to places if I'm craving pizza!!! I've been to the other location off Inwood, but I like this location better. The pizza here is always on point! Delicious toppings and the pizza is never greasy! And I love their patio area! Perfect place to eat and have a drink or two! Parking can be a pain since it's valet only after a certain time, but it's free and you just tip them. Come stop by and check out the pizza here! You won't regret it!!!

Cicily W.

Yelp
I used to love this salads here! i haven't been in a while, but what i remember, yum!

Jo Alice B.

Yelp
I moved so I've only eaten from Inwood location. Pizza bottom was burnt. Meatballs meh Too much salt on everything

Courtney C.

Yelp
I'll admit it. I am a whole Jersey girl pizza snob. So imagine my surprise when I was truly delighted by my personal pizza! I got the spicy sausage and it was the perfect size. There are certain foods that I don't eat too often in Texas but I'm glad to know that if I ever have another craving for pizza, I can do a quick order!

Victoria H.

Yelp
I'm normally not a fan of pizza at all, but my fiance and I came here on a whim. I figured we'd go to a pizza place since we haven't been in a while. We came before going to the movies so we were in a bit of rush. Parking is a bit tricky, so I would recommend coming earlier in the day if you can. Of course, we came on a Friday evening when everyone is out in town trying to dine before their night out, but we sat immediately. We were sat in the back, but it was more like a "naturally" enclosed patio as there were plants and vines acting as walls. There was a nice fireplace next to us too. The ambiance was very romantic, I would definitely recommend for date night! We started with bruschetta, which is so hard to find in Dallas (good quality at least). I was so relieved that I finally found bruschetta with mozzarella! I will be visiting again for this alone. We ordered the Hot N' Crumbled pie which was very delicious! There was definitely none leftover.

Camille B.

Yelp
I live in the area and have driven by here like every day for 3 years, and have only been in twice. First time in was months ago for a bumble BFF date, and the other time was this past Saturday. It's a good neighborhood pizza spot, with genuine service and decent wait times. Ordered the pepperoni on my most recent visit- w extra sauce (!!) and the garlic knots. Pizza was yummy- but the knots were meh...As if they barely tried to add seasoning?? Anyway, they're decent enough to give another shot.

Allison H.

Yelp
Good food but we ordered (for delivery) the meatball appetizer for $6.00. The picture online shows four meatballs - fair enough. We got two meatballs. That's $3 per meatball. I guess if you want food here, be sure to go in person because you'll get ripped off otherwise. I hate giving bad reviews and the food here was perfectly fine - I just don't appreciate false advertising and getting ripped off.

Quin B.

Yelp
The pizza at this place is fantastic! It is the best brick oven pizza that I have had to date. I ordered the chicken sausage pie. What a delight. It was not greasy. The chicken sausage is made in house and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. The menu is spot on with a good selection of appetizers, non pork pie options, and vegetarian pies. These are premium pizzas at a reasonable price. I will be returning to try more pies. Fyi: Be prepared to look for parking if your not willing to valet.

Anna D.

Yelp
Really good service, our waitress was very kind and so sweet even with our bigger group being a bit loud and messy. Food was phenomenal, highly recommend the pesto burrata pizza! We also got the bruschetta and garlic bites which were excellent!

Lino Y.

Yelp
Went here for a friend's birthday party. We had an amazing time. Our party consisted of 8 people and we were able to sit all together. We tried four pizzas and they were all very good and filling. It felt like it was missing a little something though. Loud but festive environment. I wish the parking situation was a little bit better but that area is just tricky with that. Not their fault. Valet parking was available so that helped. All things considered, I would probably go back for birthdays or special gatherings. Not sure it would be worth the hassle to go out specifically for their pizza.

Brooks B.

Yelp
Such great pizza! The Hawaiian is amazing and the customer service is super friendly.

Kristie A.

Yelp
I have always adored Fireside Pies. It's a cute small-ish place with booths, and a few tables inside. There's seating at the bar, and also an outdoor patio in the back. I've seen this place get crowded, but I've never really had to wait too long on a table. One time when the wait was longer than usual on a Friday night, we had a cocktail waitress wait on us outside to take our drink order. Booze = happy Kristie. All dishes are meant to be shared. I find that an appetizer, salad and a pizza; or a salad and two pizzas are enough to split between two to three people. My favorite appetizer is the crab claws. Little crabby feet soaking in garlic butter. They are delicious, even though I kind of grossed myself out with the above description. I think I've tried almost every salad on the menu, and they are always fresh and yummy. The Texas bib is probably my favorite. It has goat cheese after all. The triple-roni (I think that's what it's called) pizza that has pepperoni and truffle oil is my favorite. MmmMmm good. I've also recently had the light and crispy that has tomato chunks on it and it's pretty damn good too. Service is always spot on and I've recently discovered that pitchers are 1/2 price on Monday. Beer or sangria! So yeah, I'm going to go ahead and make this a 5-star review. It's deserving. PS - I'm really sad to read the Yelp boards today and seeing that Fireside Pies has an awesome cheesecake. Making a mental note now to try that next time.

Patrick W.

Yelp
The pizza was great as were the drinks (give the charred watermelon margarita a try). Really enjoyed sitting in the patio. Our service was good; however, there was an employee outside telling a story to another table (I believe he knew these people outside of them being customers) about his trip to Hawaii and how he somehow suffered an injury to his genitalia and all the tests that had to be run while he was there. It was not only really unprofessional but really killed my appetite hearing about his urethra. My table and the other tables outside were all just staring at this employee like "wtf" cause he wasn't being quiet at all. Will definitely be back but hope to not hear that much about an employee's personal life again.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Fireside is my favorite pizza place in Dallas. I absolutely love their cheese salad and their light and crispy pizza, it has a new name now. Make sure to order it with the mozzarella that is made with the meatballs. I promise that is the best way to eat it. Fireside can get a little busy so make sure you have the time to wait for a seat if busy. Their patio is heated during the winter so it's not bad! They are also opening a new location in downtown which I think is going to be a great location! Looking forward to frequenting Fireside more in the future.

Andrena J.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and drinks and atmosphere!!!! Love, love and love!! The hubby and I will most definitely be back. This will be a normal spot for us from here on out. The service was spectacular too! 5 stars!!!

Frank G.

Yelp
Fireside pies, excellent food, excellent service, good parking. Enjoyed the visit We didn't wait too long even though it was a Saturday night, the atmosphere is warm and very comfortable to be in. You can have a nice conversation while not waiting ages for your pie. Everything we order was right - from the appetizer to the entrée. It was cooked just right and even thought my pie was very interesting, the crust and ingredients were cooked to perfection. It's one of those places where you want to keep going regularly but are afraid to be tired of it. Will definitely be going back.

Gwen S.

Yelp
Very laid back environment but just enough to be a date night place. The spinach dip was great I just wish they would add some grilled chicken to it( yum). The mango half $half was so good we had 4 refills! Pricing was a tad too much but it's the area you're paying for.

Dale A.

Yelp
Love the place. Go there often, never a bad experience The atmosphere and smell from the wood stove pizza stove is great

Francisco D.

Yelp
When you're in Henderson, and you can't decide what pizza to get, what do you do? Get one from Pie Tap and Fireside for the ultimate slice off. Fireside Trio Pepp - the ultimate blend of cheesy and spice that sends your buds on a rollercoaster. PS: Get the Artichoke Dip

Nicole R.

Yelp
First time trying Fireside Pies and was very impressed! Got the pepperoni/basil & Hawaiian both was very delicious! We can't wait to try the patio when it is warmer. Delivery was swift and got the order even earlier than promised. The pies were both warm when arrived which in itself is impressive since many other places we order from arrive cold.

Brooke V.

Yelp
Delicious dinner at Fireside! The wait was really long but it was about 110 degrees outside so no one wanted to sit on the patio which would seat about double to about that could sit inside. It was worth the wait once we got to the pizza though- we ordered the Burrata Pesto and Hot and Crumble. I have also had the Chicken Sausage and garlic knots in the past. They have all been delicious. They also will bring you out freshly grated Parmesan for your pizza. I will continue to dine at this great pizzeria!

Mandy L.

Yelp
We came on a breezy evening and sat outside and there was plenty of patio space. Very tight parking though. Definitely plan to valet or take an uber because Friday and Saturday nights will be a tough time to park. We split the Texas bibb which was really good! The small is definitely enough to split between two. I almost wish there was more dressing...but that's just me :) We ordered the hot n crumbled and it was really good (sort of like a meat lovers but not as heavy). We also got the white sage and garlic pizza and it was really good! Disappointed they don't have real ranch (instead roasted red pepper ranch), but good experience overall.

Carlos V.

Yelp
Well we fell in love with this place, to the point that in a weekend we ordered twice from it, timeliness, cleanliness, but most of it tasty food, try the Medi...is to die for, prime meats and fancy house salad amazing as well! And the staff friendly as friendly can be!

Pam D.

Yelp
We came. We ate. We conquered. Okay, it really wasn't that majestic. Frankly this is the first time I've been somewhere and felt so old. The music's too loud. There's too many people at the bar. There's such a long wait for a table. And I have to valet to park my car?! Ugh. At around 8pm on a Saturday we were quoted a 30-35 minute wait time. Normally we'd grab a drink at the bar but the bar area was packed, and after about 5 minutes of trying to elbow our way in, we gave up and sat on a bench outside. We noticed there were a lot of people walking in but not a lot of people coming out... which can only mean one of a few things. Once we were finally seated, we knew if we wanted any chance of a meal served under 2 hours, we'd need to decide quickly. When our server arrived we ordered everything - beer, appetizer, salad, and pizza. We were pleasantly surprised that although we ordered everything up front, the food did arrive in a good cadence. The table turning problem didn't appear to be a kitchen issue. On the beer side - just want to note this is one of only a few places we've see in Dallas that serves pitchers of beer. Although at $20 a pitcher, it's hardly worth it. We had meatballs as an appetizer and they were the highlight of our meal. The meatball was delicious and moist, and the sauce was piping hot and flavorful. We had a large salad (easily could serve 4!) and weren't that impressed with it. For pizza, we had the one that was meat-centric. My husband seemed to like it, but I thought it was only OK. I wouldn't order it again. When we paid our check, we noticed the four tables around us had all been there BEFORE we even sat down. Most of them were either taking their sweet time with ordering items or lingering forever. But for some reason, the service team insists on continuing to refill their waters, not giving them any indication that they need to move the party elsewhere. I think they could turn a lot more tables on a busy night if they actually wanted to. I'm glad I tried it, but Fireside is not a place I plan on returning to anytime soon.

Amanda P.

Yelp
Never tried this location before. Parking was a breeze and no long wait time on a Friday night at 7:45 but same great pizza.

Mili K.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to have pizza in Dallas. It has a very warm environment and even on cold nights the patio is warm with heaters and a fire place as was the case last night. My favorite appetizer is the spinach artichoke dip and my go to pizza is the burrata pesto pie which is delish! All the pizzas are amazing, however I would say they are definitely on the smaller side and pricey for what you get. Two people would definitely need to at least get an appetizer and pizza to be satiated. Service has always been good, but it can get really crowded and can take awhile to get seated. As usual in this area parking sucks, but they do have complimentary valet. Overall I would highly recommend this place for the taste, ambience, and service.

Danielle M.

Yelp
Nice little neighborhood spot with great salads and pretty good pizza. My salad definitely stole the show. I went with the baby arugula -- very fresh with olives, blue cheese, pine nuts, pepperoni, sundried tomatoes, balsamic mustard vinaigrette. I really love a good salad and it was delicious. For our pizza, we went with the premium meats (meatballs, spicy sausage, prosciutto) and truffle oil. Not bad overall. My friend went with the he very popular cheese salad, which has four cheeses and is pretty good if you are a cheese lover. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Valet parking only.

Michael F.

Yelp
Phenomenal place that offers extraordinary service. I believe the gentleman's name was Keaton that took care of us and he went above and beyond to provide my girlfriend and I excellent service. From somebody that works in the neighborhood in the service industry, it is genuinely appreciated. Way better than those losers down the road that call themselves Pie Tap!

Ter J.

Yelp
We wanted to switch it up from our normal spots for date night, but still keep it semi-casual. We stumbled across fireside pies after the other restaurant we had planned to go to was having a private party. It ended up being the best decision! We sat on the outside patio right next to the fire, lucky for us it was chillier outside. We are big red wine drinkers and the prices for bottles are all reasonable. For appetizers, we ordered the molton meatballs (to dieeee for) and the Texas Bibb Salad....and i literally wanted to lick the plate it was so good. For an entree we ordered the premium meats Pizza, which was enough for both of us to have a few pieces leftover. Our waiter was extremely attentive, despite the fact that we had no reservation and they had a few big parties. There is valet parking located behind the restaurant, which is extremely convenient. We will be back!

Alex A.

Yelp
I've been going to this place for almost 15 years and has been one of my long time Dallas favorites. I ordered pizza here for my last night in Dallas before I move and I was so sorely disappointed. We tried to eat in but they told us they only had 3 tables on the patio. We ordered to go and it was such a disappointment. The crust is normally their shining star but it seemed like a frozen store bought flat bland crust. Not their normal wood fires crust at all. Pretty much cardboard. I normally absolutely love their chopped salad but that was pretty bad too. Missing half the ingredients listed on the menu (yellow and red tomatoes, mushrooms and pepperocini). I am so sad! They have got to do better. For about half the price and without the numerous 5 star previous experiences over the years it would have been pretty happy, It will be a long time before I return or recommend to anyone again. So sad! I know everyone is struggling during this Covid time but my gosh. Night and day different experience from what i expect from fireside.

Natali F.

Yelp
Came here with a friend on a late Saturday night and we sat outside on the patio by the fire and it was such a fun spot! It's very laid back and chill with a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The service and food were great! The pizzas are large enough to share with two people and the desserts are ginormous portions! We had the pepperoni pizza and the blackberry cheesecake and cobbler. It's very authentic and they use a vanilla wafer crust in the cheesecake which gives it a unique twist. Fresh blackberries and sauce. Cute date night spot!

Ruby P.

Yelp
Hell yes. I took a chance, after trolling Yelp for a good pizza delivery in Dallas (I don't live here) and ordered the Premium Meats pizza with GF crust (I've been GF my entire life, don't judge me!) and a stuffed pizza for the hubby-hub. The stuffed pizza was ok- an interesting inverted tube of dough with some topping rolled inside and a delicious roasted pepper-tomato dipping sauce. But the Premium Meats pizza was DA BOMB. You can go very wrong with truffle oil if you don't know what you're doing with it, and Fireside knows what they're doing. The balance of sausage, meatballs, cheeses and truffle oil was sublime. And the GF crust was cracker-thin and delicious. I'm here for a few months for work, and will definitely order this pie again. My mouth is watering thinking about it!

Caitlin R.

Yelp
This place makes me feel like home. My roommate and I come here about once every two weeks. We love the staff Rebekah and Emily are our girls! Such great friendships we've made with them! But food, the Texas Bibb is the best salad. We love the Hot n' Crumbled pizza with extra tomato's. Legit the tomatoes here are to die for. They are marinated for hours making them so juicy! The Goat cheese peppadew peppers are a must!

Jyoti J.

Yelp
This is our regular pizza place in Dallas. Been coming here 10+ years. So many sweet memories here. Patron shots, red wine, white wine, then our personal favorites... See below. .. Scene: always cool. Bring a date, bring your friends or your family. Full of soul and heart. Food: consistently amazing. I've never had a bad pizza. My top two. Don't ask just get it: triple Roni w all the mushrooms and crispy crumble. (Maybe saying it wrong but they will know what you mean. People go nuts over the four cheese salad. Have it once. We watch our diet so it's a splurge but you have it. :) Drinks: this is the other secret reason we come here. Lemonade Ricky and Long Island iced tea. They make a cute couple. Never going back to anything else here. Service: the people are the best service you'll ever get in Dallas. Our waitress is Lindsey and the best all-star VIP for many years for us is Alberto!!!! We love him with full hearts for always knowing and having our drinks ready the moment we walk in and his sweet kindness in everything he does. If restaurants had heartbeats - he is the heartbeat here for us. Bon apetit! May you find it to be your happy place as it is ours.

Stacey D.

Yelp
My favorite place hands down! Perfect date night. The fungi pizza is THE BEST ever!! I try to make it here at least once a month. It's family friendly and the kids aren't super annoying when you sit on the patio. Must be the ambiance. It's still romantic with the outside fireplace, loud levels, and bustle. In the winter, it's still great cause the patio is riddled with heating lamps
