Google
Fireworks Pizza has quickly become a favorite of mine—so much so that I’ve been there three times over the holidays, and it delivered every single visit. They offer great salads and truly incredible pizza. The pizza crust is the star: perfectly crisp with just the right chew and tons of flavor on its own. Every pie came out hot, well-balanced, and consistently excellent. We also tried the garlic cheese bread, which was rich, cheesy, and hard to stop eating. The hoagie deserves special mention—very good, and that’s coming from someone from New Jersey, so the bar is high. The bread was spot-on and paired perfectly with flavorful, high-quality meats. The pepperoni rolls were another hit, warm, savory, and satisfying. Add to that great customer service, a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and an overall excellent dining experience, and you’ve got a winner. If you’re in the Leesburg area and craving pizza, Fireworks is an easy recommendation. Highly recommend!

Informal family dinner on a Wed afternoon. Immediately seated. Menus and drinks arrived. Ordered the Roast Olives as an appetizer. They were fantastic. Ordered salads and a sandwich and a kid's pasta. The Shrimp-Bacon salad was very nice. A dinner rolls or some kind of bread would have been perfect but none was served It got surprisingly noisy for an outdoor patio table. But overall we were very happy with the whole dining experience. The shrimp and bacon salad was great.

Google
The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We ordered two pizzas and really liked that we could choose different flavors for each half. One of the pizzas came out slightly burnt, but the staff were very responsive and replaced it immediately without any issue. The spinach dip was absolutely delicious, and all the pizzas were fresh, flavorful, and nicely done. Overall, a great experience!

Google
Absolutely incredible place! Super friendly staff and a great menu with lots of unique specialty pizzas to choose from. The La Bella and Tartufo pizzas are my faves, but I've never been even remotely disappointed with anything I've ever ordered there. A solid option for takeout too with fast and accurate service. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area for sure!

Google
This was my first time here. It was absolutely delicious!!! The service was efficient and friendly; plus it was a great price. There were so ma.y great options a i had a hard time trying to pick one because they all looked great! The pizza had the perfect amount of crust to topping ratio. You have to try it! I definitely will be going back. 🧡

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not too crowded. Staff were fairly attentive. There is a large free parking lot on site, but it does fill up when busy. There is more paid street parking close by if you're unable to get one in the lot. The restaurant has a cool, cozy vibe with lots of decor including many signs and old beer taps hanging up. It can get a little loud and feels like a pub/barroom, which is fun if that's what you have in mind. My meatball sandwich (pictured) was really delicious. I'm always a bit hesitant with meatballs as they can be done so poorly depending on the place, but these were exactly what I wanted and the bread was the perfect crunchy companion. The mac and cheese was solid, but I don't think I'd upgrade again for it next time.

Google
We stopped in for the first time ever late on a Saturday night. They have a very impressive beer menu as well as cocktails and a nice food menu with a wide selection of pizzas, including a build your own. The staff was amazing and our server, Claudia, was knowledgeable, friendly, and a hot to talk with. She knew the menu and provided great suggestions. This will be a must stop on future trips to Leesburg.

Google
Seriously the BEST gluten free and vegan pizza I have EVER HAD!! Will be back. A lot. Update: I still love this place as I haven't gotten sick ONCE after eating here!! They are limited on space and the keg storage continues to limit handicapped accessibility near the entrance/bathrooms. Someone is usually available to help move kegs but I hate feeling like a burden. Everyone is always super nice. My pizza is always good. As someone with food allergies, I cannot begin to express how absolutely amazing it is to have a restaurant that CONSISTENTLY delivers food that I don't react to. Truly, that is a rarity. Especially, in NOVA.

Yelp
Delicious pizza as always here. Highly recommend the smokey blue, a crispy crust of tomatoe sauce based cheese pizza with the added funkiness of a sprinkle of blue cheese and a balancing swirl of sweet acid with a balsamic reduction. Also, if fresh morel mushrooms are on the menu (highly seasonal in the spring) definitely great eats.

Yelp
TL;DR: Incredible pizza. Excellent service. You absolutely have to try this place. Food (5/5): The menu has a ton of variety. The Guadalajara pizza is my personal favorite. The Classic Margherita is also a solid choice. Every bite was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a sandwich, appetizer, or pizza, there's something for everyone. I even saw a pizza piled high with greens that was comically large. Drinks (5/5): Great selection of specials, beers, and cocktails. The bar was cranking out drinks nonstop. They have a full bar, so if nothing on the menu stands out, you can still order just about anything you like. Service (5/5): Service was top-notch. Our server had perfect timing and seemed to know exactly when to check in. Drink refills came quickly. She was super fast, and the kitchen kept up just as well. Ambiance (5/5): The whole place smells like fresh pizza, which is amazing! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated right away! The parking lot had plenty of paid parking spots. It can get crowded during dinner time, so it's best to plan ahead.

Yelp
Beyond Lazy. The pizza barely had any cheese or sauce, the peppers were forgotten and thrown on top uncooked. The gluten free crust is either 100% freezer burned or expired. And the whole pizza is uncooked. This place use to be the best but this is ridiculous....
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza in Leesburg, originally I thought solo was one of the better one but this one is the best in Leesburg. Great selection and service.

Nattie B.

Yelp
Great location, friendly staff and good food. They specialize in pizza and those are definitely the menu items that shine.

Yelp
Nice spot for lunch during the work day! I walked over at 11:30 and it was empty. Very cold inside, after a few minutes at a table I moved outside and I'm glad I did. Great outdoor seating with umbrellas and eaves to shield from the elements. They use the fancy ice, like 1990s Pizza Hut. +1. The place has a railcar, almost diner like, layout inside. My monthly pizza club sent around a review from a local newspaper, and I decided to go out of turn. No negatives that I could see. Good pizza, overall. Nothing jumped out, but just a good overall pizza. The ten inch was perfect for one person. Good undercarriage, doesn't flop dumping all the toppings like other personal pies. Service was great, just a great place for pizza and a beer.

Cristine C.

Yelp
Great pizzq and a nice beer selection. Consistently good service and food! A great Leesburg pizza stop!

Yelp
Best gourmet style pizza in NOVA. Wood fired and cooked to perfection every time. Smokey Blue and Black Sheep are our personal favorites. We always order a pizza and a salad...waitress split the salad for us which is always a nice touch. Around 10 beers on tap, but 50+ in bottles and cans. Very small so expect a wait...outside seating available when weather is nice. One of our favorite spots for a quick meal with great service!
google avatar

RJ H.

Yelp
Wow! Came here on a Friday night with a friend. We were told our wait would be 25-30 minutes but were seated within 10. Our waitress was very attentive and very kind. We ordered 2 pizzas and they came out very quick. The pizzas were both delicious and I look forward to returning to try a few more things on the menu. If you've read my reviews before, you know that one of my life goals is to find my favorite chicken parm. I'll definitely be back to try the chicken parm pizza. Definitely give them a try.

Yelp
I am afraid after eating at Fireworks Pizza this past weekend, this writer is not among its many fans. The Margherita pizza ordered while attractive enough presentation-wise was *loaded* with uncrushed cherry tomatoes throughout. This is completely unlike the pie ordered anywhere else I have been (and not in a good way). The flavor of the pizza's fresh mozzarella was a bit off the mark, with the crust flavorless. I would give only one star for the food, but the additional star is for the exceptional service received. The server for our table was extremely attentive without appearing overly so. Drink refills were timed perfectly, and the food was delivered in short order. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively and pleasant. Nothing but positive things to report here. Alas, great service and ambiance just can't compensate for shoddy food, and that here is a dealbreaker.
google avatar

Yelp
Not only is this the best pizza place around but the service is impeccable. We arrived on a really busy night and I wasn't able to get to the bar of which was fine as I honestly didn't want to create any hardship on the very busy staff. The manager then brought me a Prosecco while we waited for a table!! The pizza is hands down the best in Leesburg and they always have a great selection of beer and wine. Thank you, Fireworks, for the exceptional service on a very busy evening.

Yelp
Wife and I ate there for dinner on 10/08/2023. We had garlic bread as an appetizer. It was very tasty, needed a little more garlic, in my opinion. She had a 10" pizza with sausage, pepperoni and onions. Tender, flakey crust, fresh toppings. Delicious. I had the meatball sub. The bread was delicious, so fresh. The meatballs were tasty, although I'd like them a little bigger. It was very cheese, the marinara sauce is on the side. I kinda like that idea. Our server was attentive, even though it was very busy. Great meal, great atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Mabel R.

Yelp
We had to wait for a while because of how busy it was (weekend night), but the pizza was really good. We got pepperoni and the meat pizza. Our appetizer was some kind of garlic bread and mozzarella sticks I think? It was good. I have no complaints. If you're going at dinner time, especially on the weekends be prepared to wait for minimum 20 minutes. I recommend this place whether you are a local or traveling to Leesburg like me and my family.

Tom B.

Yelp
The food is good with a different take on bruschetta that was tasty. They are very busy but efficient The staff is friendly and the restaurant is dog friendly

Christian G.

Yelp
Amazing place good food good environment def recommend very friendly staff the food was out fast a taste delicious
google avatar

Yelp
The pizza here is excellent, and the service is very friendly. The restaurant is small and has minimal decor, giving it a casual atmosphere. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas tend to be quite busy. It would be advisable to skip wine, as the glasses may not meet anyone's clean expectations.

Yelp
Stopped in after hearing so many positive comments and was happy I did... The menu looked amazing, plenty of incredible appetizers and sandwiches, but I was just there for lunch and really wanted to try the pizza, so I opted for the kid's size (they make a 6" of all their pies) of the Fire Cracker Pizza. But first, I started with their Greek salad... it was INCREDIBLE!!! One of the better Greek salads I've had! Perfect amount of olives and other fresh veggies and the dressing it was tossed in was excellent. The feta was nicely mixed throughout as well. It was really good... The dough was very nice, but would have been better on a bigger pizza. It seems they used too much dough for such a small pizza and it didn't char on the crust, like I prefer from brick oven pizza. It was also too doughy. The sauce was excellent and the toppings were great! I'll definitely not order a kid's size pizza here again, but would most definitely return and get a larger pie, as the dough tends to be better on those anyway. Service was decent and the place gets busy for lunch, so plan to get there a little bit early.

Yelp
Pizza is reliably good. We often go to the Arlington location. On a weekend in Leesburg we got takeout and asked them to include two scoops of ice cream for our young daughter. We received one meatball-sized Sysco scoop for $5. The manager and mostly teenaged staff were barely polite when asked for a reasonable portion.

Tim m.

Yelp
Good service and pizza. Will be back and worth a longer drive. Good pizza anyway you like it.

Scott T.

Yelp
Best pizza in all of loudoun hands down. Exceptional selection of beers and so many pizza options! Cool vibe in historic Leesburg. Delicious!
google avatar

Victor H.

Yelp
'Cause baby, you're a firework! Come on, show 'em what you're worth!" That's what your tastebuds will be shouting after you do the pizza here. Some of my favorite pies are the peruvian chicken, guadalajara, the works, and smokey bleu. All have unique flavors. Peruvian chicken has that nice green aji verde sauce on top. Guadalajara is pretty much a taco pizza with the ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream drizzle. The works equates to a supreme pizza with sausage, pepperoni, peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc. And the smokey bleu got that nice gorgonzola cheese melt with bacon and balsamic glaze and probably the one I think about the most. There's other things here such as calzones, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Some of the apps are dope such as the mac n cheese, jalapeno poppers, and the antipasto board which is strongly recommended by yours truly. But everyone knows you come here for the pizza right? With pizza should be beer. Lots of unique beer options here by can/bottle or tap. One of my favorites is the Zombie Dust Pale Ale; made by 3 Floyds brewery in Indiana. You'll also find local brews here from breweries such as Port City, Old Ox Brewery, and Aslin Brewery. Or you can be a basic bitch and order Bud Light if it pleases you. Located in downtown Leesburg, there's inside and outside seating and a limited amount of bar seating. I'm pleased that this is near my parents place and allows me a place to visit when I'm in the mood for some pizza and pints that are straight up fire.... works!
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Pizzas were great. The atmosphere is laid back and there are plenty of menu options. A decent amount of seating inside and out. There were a lot of beer options as well. Pizza quality was good and great size for one.
google avatar

Wine G.

Yelp
The best pizza!!! If you're in Leesburg, this is your place. They also have a killer beer list.
google avatar

Russell J.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza in NOVA! We ordered the Barcelona and Hawaiian, along with pretzels and two small salads. Both pizzas were . Def a great choice!
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
Visited this place during the winter months and excited to return in the summer. I loved the community feel and pictures of people loving their business with their dogs throughout the space. Pizza and beer is pricey but assumingely more worth it during the summer months. Service was good!

Louis B.

Yelp
This is a really cool restaurant! And the gluten-free options actually taste amazing. The tricky part could be parking so if you can't find parking in the lot, just go across the street to the parking structure, which is free. I would totally go back here it's really great. It's kid friendly. The staff is awesome. It's a little small the inside, but with the weather warming up you can totally sit on the outside. Highly recommend this place. Try to get there before five.

David W.

Yelp
Best pizza in Leesburg, hands down. You'll wait for a table, but it's worth it. Or go next door to Dynasty Brewing, enjoy a beer, and order your pie for takeout.
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
It's a staple of Leesburg. One of the most refreshing things that I've experienced in life is to sit out on the deck, pick a beer, and enjoy two pizzas with my family. There are no reservations, no gimmicks, and it's the same product every time. I've tried some of the other items outside of the pizza, and they're good, but not worth a trip out of the way. But a smokey blue pizza and a nice 70 degree night make living all the way out here from DC worth it. You'll see neighbors, friends, work associates, happy hours, people you don't like, people you do, enjoying a (at the time when it opened decade+ ago, now normal) somewhat unique take on thin, Neapolitan style pizza. Don't go at 6 PM on a Friday and expect to sit down, though. Always a good sign.
google avatar

Leigh J.

Yelp
The necessity I feel to write an honest review has compelled me to say that before covid this was my favorite pizza place, post covid, it's like every other local pizza restaurant if not a little worse. I ordered the tartufo. There was no sauce that I tasted, the crust was so dry that you couldn't cut it with a knife, and the cold mushroom topping was nothing to savor. And yet, there was a cue to be seated at a table! I'm not sure if it's the location, or for nostalgia reasons people keep coming back, but it's a ripoff. My friend ordered one of the meat pizzas and his was served hot and had some flavor, but any new folks might want to take the rave reviews with a pinch of salt. I'd rather eat a frozen pizza at home!
google avatar

Kenyatte S.

Yelp
I live in Ashburn and lately I've been spending alot of time in Leesburg. This pizza place the last time I was in the area was packed. They have outdoor seating on the deck, great parking and a menu for everyone. They have a nice drink menu, appetizers, calzones, salads, gluten free options and really great pizza selection. It's a cute little intimate pizzeria. I had the wood fire shrimp skewers which were flavorful and delicious. I also had the smoky blue pizza. I'm in love with pairing Gorgonzola and bacon with a balsamic drizzle. Looking forward to trying something else off the menu next time.

Yelp
Hidden Gem! Nestled between other restaurants, FireWorks lives up to their name. Many pizzas to choose from. Suggested combinations along with create your own. Many toppings to choose from. All ingredients were fresh. My niece loved her Pineapple pizza, my mom could not finish her Works pizza. I created my own, kalamata olives and cherry tomatoes, yum! Drink wise, plenty and I mean plenty of beers to choose from! If you're a beer drinker, beer snob, FireWorks is the place to go. Service was great!
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
Great pizza. Little more expensive than chain store but worth the money. Haven't had a bad pizza here once. Great selection of beers as well.
google avatar

Bill C.

Yelp
Cool place. Love that Dogs are allowed in the outside seating area. We split a small Quattro Carni pizza that was very good and a tasty Caesar salad. But, the best was their ice tea! Worth a visit for sure.

Alison P.

Yelp
Delicious food! Love the gluten free options. The figgy cheese sandwich is amazing! Love the atmosphere and friendly servers.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
First, it just smells so good inside and in the parking lot here - it literally lures you into the door. Seating is limited so be prepared to wait (unsure if they do reservations). All the pizzas are great plus they have awesome happy hour specials on weekdays. It's great for dates, families, coworkers, or friends. Plenty of drink options and fun doggy treats too like meatballs! Dogs can sit outside on their dog friendly patio. They have outdoor heaters but they weren't serving outside when I visited. I can't wait to return as it's the perfect casual cozy restaurant.
google avatar

Peyton C.

Yelp
-I had a build your own pizza. It tasted really good, I added Parmesan, fresh mozzarella, grilled onions, green peppers, rosemary, and pepperoni. I couldn't taste the rosemary, but everything else added together made for a tasty pizza. I enjoyed the crust and the pepperonis were huge! -The other people with me didn't like their pizzas as much, saying that they were dry and lacked flavor. They choose a pizza off the menu. So maybe pick one with more seasonings or veggies if you go with a menu made pizza instead of byo. -The cheese bread was disappointing. It was just melted shredded cheese on bread and looked like something I could make at home. -The chocolate mint cookie sundae was delicious. It tasted just like Andes mint candy. I feel like I could've ate two of them because the cookie was pretty thin, but it was great flavor wise! -The blood orange pineapple drink was very refreshing, but again small in portion.

Yelp
This is a slick location in downtown Leesburg, VA.. I mean if you want to call it that or we can just say its off of Main St..lol..My Wife and I stopped in here during our weekend getaway with my Auntie and Cousins. Trust, we will be back to dine-in next time.. Both pizzas we ordered were fresh-fresh and simply delicious. The different variety of fresh cheeses was right on time.. Trust me, we didn't make it back to the hotel before we had to indulge. Wifey and I approve this message and we stamp this location when you're in Northern VA!

Kelsey W.

Yelp
Our favorite pizza place! The gluten free crust is really good, which is hard to do. The carne Quattro is the boys favorite. Love being able to sit outside in nice weather.
google avatar

Susan V.

Yelp
The food was ok but they only have ground sausage, meatballs are the size of golf balls. I sent it back with no manager checking in. Disappointing.
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
This place is fabulous. Visited for the first time on a Saturday at lunch. It was busy but we were seated quickly. The waitstaff was excellent as was the food. One we ordered our pizzas, it did not take long to receive our food. Our drinks were never empty. Will definitely be coming.back. .
google avatar

Marla B.

Yelp
Would come back for pizza, but not the salad. But maybe it was just an off day. We ordered the sweet heat pizza and the large bacon shrimp salad to go. Pizza was great, salad toppings were good, but the spring mix in the salad was half rotten.
google avatar

Luis S.

Yelp
The food and service was great! A hidden gem in Leesburg. This place is very popular it was bustling.
google avatar

Sneha M.

Yelp
So I feel bad because our server was really nice, but the food was just not it. Not pictured here is my scorched max & cheese :( & I love Mac & cheese The bruschetta truly was a 3/5, the bread got soggy w the tomatoes central on the bread - so it was difficult to eat. The cheese bread was great 5/5, loved it. The Buffalo chicken pizza was a bit flavorless to be honest, not much of the Buffalo kick I was expecting The lamb pizza was good - the friend who had it didn't have any quarrels! The desserts were good as well. Overall, for the price the food quality didn't match. I was really sad about the Mac & Cheese! Food Quality: 1/5 Food Quantity: 3/5 Hospitality: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Fred R.

Yelp
Visited on a Sunday at lunchtime and fortunately they were able to seat us with no wait (total luck). Very quick and efficient service. We went with a couple of bottles of a Virginia microbrew and a 14" Sweet Heat. Very worth it (as hopefully the pictures convey). Parking can be a challenge in that part of town, but again, it's worth it.

Yelp
Reasons this New Yorker doesn't skip a trip to FireWorks if I can help it when I'm visiting my folks in the area - Family friendly! It's noisy and overcrowded, but not too overwhelming. Kids' menu is very straightforward. My little had just enough to satisfy, and my tween found a sweet spot with the well-priced "adult" pasta. Allergen friendly! My celiac husband misses good pizza so much, and says FWP is one of the best he's had. Service! Although I find VA's antiquated tipped wage an insult to labor, I'm now best friends with Aiden, such a wonderful server. Coming from the restaurant industry as an owner and operator, service is never a guarantee. Give Aiden a raise! THE PIZZA!! We have a place in NYC called Roberta's that does this delicious sweet and spicy pie and my taste buds were craving it even though I thought I should get the Luau. Aiden said, "you should get both!" And my half-Luau, half-Sweet Heat was born.
google avatar

Ray D.

Yelp
This local in my opinion has some of the best tasting pizza in the town of leesburg and a great selection of other food and beverages to match. The service is excellent and welcoming.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite pizza places in Leesburg. My daughter always insists on lunch here when we have a Mommy Daughter Mani-Pedi day. The staff is always friendly and attentive and The pizza is fresh made with several specialty pizzas to choose from. It came out hot and fresh with just the right mix of soft and crispy crust. I got a stared salad with mine which was very good mixed greens. Nice and simple and light. We also tried the garlic bread. A little too heavy on the garlic for my liking, but my daughter loved it. Finally, we had the warm mint chocolate chip chocolate cookie ala mode which was DIVINE! Nice and warm and soft and gooey with the perfect mix of mint and chocolate. Next time we go we definitely won't be sharing one. We've been here several times and have yet to have a bad meal. It's definitely one of our go-to places and I highly recommend if you want some good pizza or an easy lunch in a nice, local, environment.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our dinner at FireWorks Pizza! Located in the heart of downtown Leesburg in a cute little market plaza attached to several other local businesses, this is a great place for dinner if you're also looking to explore more of Leesburg. With an extensive craft beer menu, signature pizzas and a build-your-own pizza option, we easily found something for everyone here! I especially loved the Tartufo Pizza-yum!
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
This is actually a pretty good pizza spot. I came to the area and found it on Yelp. The pizza has really good flavor and the shrimp skewers are fire! (That means they are really good) The inside dining area is limited so wasn't able to sit and wait for a table. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back!
