Everything was AMAZING. I Highly Recommend.
1- It was all so good
2- It was a lot of food (platters are $15-16)
The Picanha Kabobs & BBQ Chicken stood out as our group favorites.
The collards (w/ pintos, sausage, bacon) were cooked more of an al dente than "soul food" style, which I really enjoyed. They had a lot of flavor and great texture.
Yuka fries were crispy and not tough, (as they sometimes can be). I wanted to order more, but the platters were already more food than we could eat!
I don't normally enjoy plantains, but they were caramelized perfectly, and it was the first thing I finished.
The cilantro salsa (similar to a chimichuri) was spicy and phenomenal! I slathered it on my Picanha and Yuka fries!! The cream spinach was also a group favorite!
The quesadilla was humongous and packed with meat cheese onions and cilantro. (not pictured)
Great service, friendly owners..
We're already planning on visiting again next week to try more!
