"Brunch restaurant chain First Watch is expanding with its fourth Austin-area location in Cedar Park on 1306 Whitestone Boulevard starting on Monday, July 29. The restaurant is known for its eggy dishes, plus the usual brunch array from pancakes to bacon to quinoa bowls." - Nadia Chaudhury

Google
What an exceptional place for brunch! We are visiting from out of town and happened on this place and it DID NOT disappoint. Sierra was exceptional, fun and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back and ask for her to be our waitress!

Haven't been here for a while, and took the opportunity to have brunch with family. The food is good and liked the blueberry lemon cornbread with lemon butter.

Google
We visited First Watch for Father’s Day brunch without a reservation, which led to a one-hour wait. The wait was manageable, as we enjoyed drinks and a few rounds of cornhole, which made the time pass pleasantly. Once seated, our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely return for brunch!

Food was absolutely amazing! Went with a couple of friends and we all loved everything on the menu. Sylvia was very professional, friendly, and attentive!

We love going for breakfast at First Watch and come by this location about once a week. We always have a lovely experience with delicious food. Today our server, Preslea, was so sweet! She was very attentive, friendly, and had a contagious smile! The kids meal rocks!

Happy Easter and Jesus is Risen!! We had an amazing time of fellowship while we had some great food! Carter was attentive and helpful and very patient! We live First Watch and especially on a Sunday when I don’t want to go home and cook! Always will recommend First Watch! Definitely always go online and out yourself in line on busy days such as weekends! Have a blessed day and week!

Sierra was great! Ask for her. Great food, service, and prices. I highly recommend.

Place and food was great. Tabbitha served us we'll. She was kind to check on you repeatedly. The experience was great.

Yelp
First Watch is always good. I have eaten here (and at a location in PA when I visit family) more than 30 times. The Cedar Park location is often busy, but they seem to get folks through in a pretty timely manner. The staff is friendly and folks wanting to have FW Door Dash/Uber Eats/Take out , they have a good set up for the drivers to pick up your food. Some of our go-tos and favorites: Waffles French Toast Avocado Toast Ham and Cheese omelette Roast beef sandwich Million Dollar Bacon!!!! Breakfast sandwich Their seasonal menus always have really good options on them. They so have juices and seasonal drinks.

Yelp
Really underwhelming experience. I had avoided going here because I LOVE a breakfast place up the road, but my guest wanted to try First Watch as she's been to another location before. Their online waitlist option was probably the best part of the experience. While our waitress was nice, she managed to spill an entire bloody mary on my guest's leg and brand new designer, cloth shoes. While I totally understand accidents happen - I'm flabbergasted that nothing was done to rectify the situation. We should've gotten up to leave - but we were in shock. We ordered, and were later served the coldest breakfast plates I've ever had. I had the classic benedict - the hollandaise was okay, but the ham was cold, as were the eggs (how?!). My guest ordered the hash and while some of the flavors were good, it was all cold. The space itself is pretty lackluster, too. Overall a very, very disappointing and underwhelming experience. I would suggest going up the road to another breakfast spot that never misses.

Yelp
Last week, I came here for a late breakfast with a companion to try the summer menu. Just like any other visit to this location, upon arrival, there was a 20 to 30 minute wait for a table. Blueberry Lemon Cornbread This dish is not like the typical Southern Buttermilk Cornbread. It's lighter, more cake-like but not too sweet. Cornbread purists will most likely hate it because of the addition of berries and the tart lightly whipped lemon butter. This cornbread appears to be more flour than cornmeal as it has a lighter texture than a standard cornbread. This is a dish that can serve as a breakfast side/main or as a dessert. Carnitas Breakfast Quesadilla These carnitas quesadillas have layers of flavor stuffed with slow-cooked pork infused with Mexican spices and citrus and fluffy eggs in between large crispy cheese-crusted wheat tortilla shells. Although the ingredients of this dish tend to skew 'heavy', dish is fairly light as there is more egg in the quesadillas than anything else. However, the highlight of this dish for me is that it is protein-packed, which will certainly fuel you throughout the day. The black beans that accompanied this dish lacked flavor and were a bit of a letdown for me. Spiked Watermelon Wake up Everyone loves a cocktail that is crisp, refreshing, and oh-so-delicious. Watermelon mint and a splash of vodka is like that friend you're always happy to see. It brings good vibes to an occasion. The best part of sipping this cocktail? It delivers a light fruity flavor without that overpowering syrupy after-taste from cocktail recipes made with high-sugar mixes. It should be noted that this cocktail is pre-made. Therefore, additions of sprits can't be added to this beverage (for those of us who like extra shots). Overall, this new summer menu is worth a visit to your nearest First Watch location!

Yelp
Busy Saturday morning, parking overflow to the rear of the property. We Used the app and drove in to cedar Park. Checked in with the Host 10-15min wait suggested. - 30 minutes later we question the situation and told we did not get checked in by the host and would be next. Table service - a nice young man was our waiter - obviously new and did not know the menu - we pointed out our order items on the menu. Drinks came quickly. 20 minutes passed and the food arrived - cold eggs were disappointing. Strawberries were missing. Noise level - very high. Having a conversation or ordering is difficult. It is this location the building is an open box. Management remains the core problem with this location. Pro tip: Don't go here. Try the location further south - while crowded the food and service is good, hot and on time. Don't trust the app - ensure you get a checkin message. There are many other choices locally.

Nikki M.

Yelp
The service was great and the wait was fast but I noticed as it got later there was a line to get in. Seems like you should have a reservation to avoid waiting outside. There were lots of good options to choose from and a small selection of gluten free items. My eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious! They have fresh squeezed orange juice and it was so good. No specialty orange juice. It's also very very loud and they don't have anything to absorb the sound so I didn't like that part so much. Overall very good!

Emma B.

Yelp
A great spot to grab breakfast or brunch. They have your typical crowd pleasing staples but also have some good more unique options. They just came out with their summer menu which looked delicious. My husband ordered their spicy pepper hash off the summer menu and I chose a Mediterranean style. All were delicious. The staff was very kind and our waitress was present enough but not overwhelming. Good experience!

Yelp
Horrible service, horrible food. Every time I go here I walk away remembering how remarkably bad some restaurants are in the local area.

U.Day M.

Yelp
This is the first time at this location. Pretty good food with good and healthy ingredients! Service is good too. Will visit again!

Marlene H.

Yelp
I must confess that this is not the first time I have been served dirty kale here, but this is the last straw, besides the fact that it took them a long time to bring a sandwich and a salad to my table, the salad was dirty. Be careful when ordering greens in your meal, it could make you sick.

Mariam P.

Yelp
Ok so the food is good, it is pretty good. The service is bad, like very bad. The wait is also too long for what the food is. The waiters are really inhospitable and look so miserable. This makes me think the management of First Watch must treat them really bad. Man, Cedar Park is just starved for any sit down breakfast/brunch places. They said 30-45 min wait, it was more an hour wait. I had the veggie pesto sandwich with mushrooms and zucchini. It was really good! The menu says it comes with either salad or soup but when i asked what the soup was, the waiter was so confused and honestly couldn't even answer me. It was weird. They also don't have matcha or dairy free milk (i believe). Overall food was better than I thought. Drinks/beverage items were worse than I thought. Service was really bad. Prices were decent. My recommendation: i would order for Pick up/To go next time and just bypass the awkwardness of the experience!

Sam T.

Yelp
Been here twice. First time was decent but this time everything was bad!! Breads untoasted, stale bananas, cold burger, potatoes undercooked and super slow service!!!

Donna S.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this (chain) restaurant! When out for breakfast or lunch somewhere new I search for it! CONSISTENTLY delicious AND INCREDIBLE wait staff. I've been to MANY locations... Always check out the specials... but my GO TO is AM Superfood Bowl (chia pudding with granola & fruit) and pancakes. They make their own syrup! NO HFCS!

David R.

Yelp
I don't normally order pancakes at a restaurant since I can make really great pancakes at home. However, when I saw lemon ricotta pancakes on the menu, I had to try them. No regrets; the ricotta added a great richness and tang to the cakes and the lemon had just the right zip. I debated whether to add syrup, but it did add to the dish. BTW, the syrup comes warm in a dispenser like an olive oil bottle. I was told that they were known for the "million dollar bacon" and this was great too. Good, smoky flavor, a bit of heat (but not too much), and a honey drizzle all combined to make a really great flavor. The good part of the service was that they put a carafe of coffee on the table before we even asked. On the other hand, it took a few requests and 20 minutes to get water. Creamers for the coffee? We're out of the non-flavored ones, but I'll get you some fresh from the kitchen. Flagged down someone else a reminder and 15 minutes later, and somehow they had creamers. The last we saw her was when she said I have your bill when you're done. Was it because we were there on a Sunday morning? Was this a new person? We'll be back for the food, and hope for better service. The noise level was a bit much, but that might be the Sunday morning effect. Do try it; overall, a good experience.

Shannon G.

Yelp
I love First Watch. The food is so delicious. This is a new location for me. It was Sunday and they were banging. We had to put our name on the list, took about 45 minutes to be seated. And it was well worth it. The food was on point, the service was fabulous. Actually our waitress Kori, was funny. She got our humor, and we played it up. Didn't realize it was 2:45 and they close at 2:30, so we hurried up and finished. Let's talk about the food. I got the BLTE sandwich. The bacon was crisp and flavorful. Lettuce was crunchy and crisp, tomato was juicy and the fried egg was perfectly well done. The bread was really good too. I don't remember what type of bread, but it wasn't plan white bread. Whole meal was outstanding. Also got the Morning Glory drink. Which came in this cute bottle and glass. So adorable. First Watch is my go to breakfast and brunch spot. Parking lot is shared with Hopdoddy and it's a decent size. Parking in front and on the sides of both places.

Yelp
Dirty cups Cold food Terrible service So many other places to have breakfast/brunch

Sarah M.

Yelp
My first time at this brunch place. It was pretty busy for a Sunday morning. My friend and I got on the waitlist and walked around the area while we waited. When we got seated, the server offered us coffee. You do get charged for the coffee and maybe that's common knowledge; I just didn't know. I ordered the French toast and it was okay. I kinda surprised because I thought there would be fruit on the French toast but it was just a small cup of fruit jam really. It was yummy but nothing amazing. My friend ordered the skillet hash and told me it tasted like he was eating a breakfast pizza. The server was helpful and would update us on when our food was ready. It's a nice brunch place if you're looking for an classic American breakfast.

Nicki C.

Yelp
Always excellent service, minimal wait times, and ample parking. I also find this place to have a more open and free feeling above the others. Food is consistent with the other locations which is a plus! I recommend the farm house hash, and relish in most of their seasonal items! Their pancakes are giant and delicious, as with all their food items! Definitely recommend!

M. T.

Yelp
I have no idea what the hype is about or why there was a wait for a half empty restaurant. Met some friends for breakfast. One ordered the pumpkin pancakes. Small, expensive and according to friend, nothing special. I requested 3 fresh eggs scrambled with ham and gryuere. I specifically requested fresh eggs not the prescrambled egg mix, which my waitress said was no problem. I received cold egg mix with unmelted cheese and some ham. I prefer a good diner breakfast, this is just not my style.

Najah C.

Yelp
***Service*** The service was decent, everyone seemed like they were in a hurry I don't like that feeling. This was my first time here and I would've appreciate less rushed service. ***Food*** The food was real regular. Kind of bland, not special at all but cooked well. I'd come here again if someone else wanted to go but I wouldn't choose this place on my own. ***Ambiance*** Very busy, very loud during my visit, very casual. ***Bottomline*** I like that that have meat options (pork, turkey, chicken), not a bad spot but you wouldn't be missing anything if you went somewhere else.

Rachel O.

Yelp
The décor is really pretty and the check-in process was really easy. The food was ok. 2 FOR YOU 1/2 Salad and 1/2 cup of soup Chicken Avocado Chop Salad Chopped romaine and arugula, all-natural chicken breast, avocado, tomatoes, corn, black beans, Feta cheese and crispy tortilla strips with citrus chipotle dressing. -The salad was refreshing, but only had a few pieces of chichen. Tomato Basil Soup -I was so disappointed that the soup was cold! I tried this restaurant again in Cedar Park and I had the same experience with the food.

Christine L.

Yelp
Wow! When I'm doubt... get the friggin corn bread. In all seriousness, the food and drinks were amazing and they had an extensive offering - not only flavorful but HEALTHY OPTIONS TOO! No wonder this place is packed on the weekend! Love the aesthetic! Loved the food and portions and love the selection.

Nihilaa K.

Yelp
As a frequent customer to this place, it is sad to see the quality consistently dropping in this place . We went here on a Saturday for breakfast . The line was fairly moderate considering that this is the only highly valued breakfast place in the area (although snooze is coming up in the next few weeks). We love the food and the ambiance here but recently started noticing a drop in the food quality . The market skillet hash was supposed to have some veggies and ours hardly had any except some raw spinach and tiny bit of mushrooms, and the potatoes dominate the dish . We wish they could add more veggies to the dish without adding a ton of potatoes. The waiter did not even ask what kind of bread we wanted and we didn't know it included bread until the dish came out and wish we had known so we could have ordered gluten free . The new blackberry lemon cream French toast was good but a bit on the soggy side . The worst part was that we ordered a side of potatoes and it came with bits of bacon on it (not supposed to be on the dish) and one of us is vegetarian and we couldn't eat it. Overall, not a great experience and might need to look into other breakfast places in the area for a better experience .

Savannah S.

Yelp
Kaylei made sure everything was up to par and went out of her way to make sure i was having a good time and everything was enjoyable. 10 outta 10!

Wesley M.

Yelp
Food is always good, reasonable price. Great brunch spot. Weston was an awesome server, even took the time to let our 2yo daughter order her own food. Top notch.

alison f.

Yelp
The food is never hot. I've given it 3 tries. I give up. Too bad, as the menu is interesting and they have a few yummy cocktails. The search for a decent breakfast spot in Cedar Park continues.

Heather Z.

Yelp
The food was really good! It got to table quickly. And Hudson our server was the absolute best!!!

Ms M.

Yelp
There is a little bit of a line up on the weekends ( make a reservation) but food and service is amazing. The restaurant is a bit loud and busy but worth the visit.

Jeff B.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming to First Watch. It has a great breakfast menu and I have not had a bad meal so far at any of the branches I've dined, including this morning on Whitestone in Cedar Park. Lori was my server and she was very nice even though she was busy. She gave me a menu. Got me a cup of coffee and a glass of water. Then took my order. I ordered the Italian Omelet. It was served with a small salad of greens and multi-grain toast. The strawberry jam was yummy. A delicious meal brought with a nice smile. If you haven't had First Watch, I recommend you do, sooner than later. I'm pretty sure you will enjoy, I sure do!

Gabriel G.

Yelp
Everything good. Nice menu items which are different. Popular place. Can't complain about the food. Always enjoy my experience. Good servers. Little high in price. But upper level breakfast place.

Eric C.

Yelp
The food was excellent, I really enjoyed the Belgian waffle. Weston was a great waiter, always attentive with a great table-side manner.

Priscila M.

Yelp
We tried to go to First watch many times, but we always gave up due to the long lines. This time, I decided to go for it. Although I got in line online and it said it was a 45min-1h wait, the text message said that I should head to the front desk to actually go in line. This is ridiculous and doesn't make any sense! However, we were lucky this time, as it was just the 2 of us and were seated in about 10 min or less. Elif, our server, was really nice and helpful. Hubby went with the omelette and I went with the traditional. Everything was good and the portions were big. I just wish they had more gluten free items on the menu. I was very limited by what they had to offer and the gf toast didn't taste good.

Elizabeth O.

Yelp
First time. I would have given 5 stars, but my decaf coffee was cold. I asked for a to go cup, but it was cold also, so I left it on the table . The food however was excellent!! I had the tri-athlete which is a egg whites, onions and mushrooms withe very good pico , fresh fruit, and very yummy whole grain toast. My companion had a big biscuit with turkey sausage gravy, two eggs, and country potatoes. His was excellent as well. The service staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, even though they were swamped. Our server, Kristen, was a lovely young lady with a winning smile. The restaurant is very clean, colorful, and the atmosphere was bright and lively. Elizabeth Odom

Yelp
Service by Sung was wonderful. Food is always great. Great ambiance too! Great breakfast

Kim S.

Yelp
Sung was a great server! Thank you for taking care of us. Food is always delicious. Million Dollar Bacon

Ches L.

Yelp
I only come here twice a year and every single time the wait is more than 40 minutes ‍ I guess this will be my last time, I really don't know why my wife and daughter keeps coming back ! NOT WORTH IT, the food isn't even that good

Heather P.

Yelp
Wasp in our salad and hair in Bloody Mary. Seriously the most grossed out I have ever been at a restaurant...but at least they offered a $20 discount, lol. Last First Watch ever. At least the server was nice...oh wait, no she wasn't.

Brandon G.

Yelp
I decided to stop in for breakfast and catch up on emails. My server Sung was amazing and took very good care of me. She was attentive and aided my special requests with pleasure even as I was seated outside. It's been awhile since I've been back here but I'm glad not much has changed, in a good way! Thank you for the great service and peaceful atmosphere.

Melissa F.

Yelp
From California and am here visiting family. After all the heavy food we've been eating this place was a nice relief. My bowl was so delicious. Food came out fast and our server was super sweet.

Bianca B.

Yelp
Love coming to this location first thing in the morning. Service is quick and fast and the food is delicious! Sung was so nice and helpful.

Tommy L.

Yelp
Got on the waitlist before we arrived, got seated within minutes of arrival. Food and service was good as always. Sung was friendly and took good care of us. We will be back. Cheers!

Austin S.

Yelp
The first time I went, it was really good and the service was great. The last two or three times, the food was very bland with small portions. The coffee tasted old or weak. First Watch markets itself as an upscaled breakfast place with the atmosphere and elevated menu choices but the food is very lackluster. The service the last two times was slow as well and both times, the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Most of the tables were empty.

Bob S.

Yelp
We had breakfast here on the day of a concert we were seeing later, and let me just say the food here was peak. This place is an amazing way to start your day. I got the avocado toast, and they found a way to make something as simple as that have so much flavorful depth. My father got the smoked salmon eggs benedict, which he thought was amazing as well. The service was sweet, our server was really nice and interesting. I recommend this place to any near Cedar Park.

VH M.

Yelp
A repeat visit for us to this location! Food was great as always. Kudos to Westin for being very attentive and taking great care of us

Tj G.

Yelp
Weston is amazing food is great!! I'd give this joint 10 stars if I could! I definitely be back!

Bobby Z.

Yelp
Our first visit to First Watch. Hudson was a fantastic server. The food was served promptly and was very good.

Summer P.

Yelp
Wish I could give it a 2.5 but a two will do. Anyways- I got the smoked salmon and roasted vegetable frittata, wayyy to many chuncks of onion. There must've been at least 1/2 a cup, the only roasted vegetable in it was tomato's and they were heavily salted, the salmon was good but definitely not smoked. They put a dry spinach mix on the side- no dressing just plain. My boyfriend got the waffle and a side of bacon + sausage. He said the waffle was OK, a bit sweeter than he would've liked. However he claimed that the sausage was seasoned and cooked perfectly (so definitely get the sausage if you go!).

Kristen B.

Yelp
Super busy on a Sunday morning . Worth using the First Watch app to see the wait times and updates to "Get in Line" thru the app. We were seated right away because we had used the Get in Line. First visit to this location. Server came over relatively quickly. Restaurant was very busy and took awhile to receive the food after we ordered (15-20 minutes). Poached eggs were very overdone - parts almost hard boiled on both entrees. Have had this same experience at the Georgetown location. Reluctantly flagged down server who offered to replace them. First two replacements were also very overcooked and delivery (another 10 minutes) when we were more than halfway thru our breakfast. Last 2 replacement eggs (6-8 minutes later) were done perfectly but when we were about finished eating. Disappointed about timing but not sure if it was kitchen alone or our server's issue. A Benedict without the.eggs is a miss. Will return to this location again since the rest of the entree components were very tasty. Every table was occupied and huge amount of people waiting for tables.

Helen R.

Yelp
Cute little spot for breakfast or brunch with your friends or significant other. Very fast pace and friendly staff. There is a bit of a waiting time, but it's worth it for the food and vibe of the restaurant. My plate (the trifecta) doesn't look like much food but its filling for sure. I wanted to comment on the waffle: that waffle was cooked to PERFECTION! I love waffles that have a bit of a crisp on the outside but softness on the inside and this was made exactly that way without request! Coming here for breakfast was definitely the correct choice.

Lloyd L.

Yelp
Service was very, very slow, Eggs Benedict eggs were cold, the bread was as hard as the table top and we waited so long for the check that we had to go find the waitress. It was a very disappointing experience.
