First Watch

I took my mom out for breakfast, and at first everything seemed fine. Luckily, we didn’t wait too long before the server came to offer us tea or coffee. My mom ordered tea and I got coffee. We also ordered a pineapple drink. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, which I understand since the place was very busy — no complaints about that. However, when I told the server that the pineapple drink was too icy and asked if it could be changed, she brought me a small glass of water instead. I said no thank you and decided to just drink the pineapple drink with ice, which cost $14. Before our main dishes arrived, they brought out the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast, which I had ordered at the beginning. The problem is, it wasn’t French toast at all — it was literally just bread. It did not taste like French toast and was very disappointing. I asked the server where the rest of our food was because I didn’t want to eat this before the main dish. After waiting another 10 minutes, the food finally arrived — but it was cold and extremely salty. I ordered the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash, and it tasted like pure salt with no other flavor. I’m not sure if the salt was added by accident, but it was overwhelming. Btw I did tip the server $11 even tho she wasn’t very nice! Overall, I’m very disappointed with the experience and don’t think I will be returning.

I happened upon this breakfast/brunch place and I’m so happy I did! It’s located in peaceful area right off of Walnut Hill. The food is beautifully prepared and super tasty. There are many healthy choices, like avocado toast, plus fresh squeezed juices to round out breakfast. I can’t wait to bring my kiddos here for pancakes. They have a great selection!

UPDATE 1.31.26: I highly recommend this First Watch. Very friendly greeting from the hostess/cashier when I walked in the door. Armando was my waiter and he is so nice & attentive! I ordered the Tri Athlete again and had it with cheesy grits this time, added jelly & powdered sugar for my toast - Everything tasted Perfect! I'll be back for sure. 😋 Original review [3 months ago]: I'm on my fitness journey so I was looking for a protein rich meal. Ordered the Tri Athlete (w/ turkey) at First Watch and it was great! Very tasty & I don't feel guilty for it 😅😋

The food was absolutely phenomenal! Alex was out of this world amazing and hands down the best waiter I have ever had. He was thorough in explaining the menu and the side options available. One of the best brunch experiences i’ve ever had. Thank you Alex, and thank you first watch.

We love First Watch! This is our first time being to this location and couldn’t believe how great the service was! We were brought coffee right away and when we ordered a juice to go and asked for a box we got them almost before we could turn around! Our waitress was Kennedy and she was terrific! We will definitely be back!

At 1st I was very impressed with this location but it all changed this morning. I called in to place a order. And the young lady who answered the phone hung up on me and I don't exactly understand why. All I was trying to do was place a order for pickup. Hopefully I can find another location close to me that has better customer service than this location. I have walked in plenty of times but this was the first time I called in because I was running late and didn't have time to walk in. Up until this morning my impression of this location was all positive and I was thinking about giving them a 5 star review especially when I do not give out many 5 Star reviews.

Stopped in for a late lunch before going grocery shopping. Was seated promptly and my waitress was over to my table right away. I started with the Kale Tonic to hydrate myself and it was super refreshing. The avocado toast was also amazing, piled high with fresh smashed avocado on top of thick, lightly toasted wheat bread. The two basted eggs were cooked perfectly. After a few dashes of hot sauce, the plate was devoured ! The side of seasoned potatoes was also on point. Everything was delicious with great portions. Service was stellar. Will definitely be back.

Omg, the food here never disappoints! The service was so good and they were so fast. I always enjoy coming here. You gotta try the seasonal menu items. They're always delish.
