Maria took care of us on a busy Sunday, service was friendly & quick, 10/10! Food came out fast & was delicious! We got the seasonal special, steak & egg chimichurri- they should absolutely add this to the menu permanently!

My niece and I debated on what to eat for brunch and settled into the First Watch quite nicely. We enjoyed the quiet and comfortable vibes this place offers. A special thank you and shout out to Maria for recommending the Elevated Egg (for the salty lovers) and the Trifecta (for the sweet & salty lovers). She was exceptional, never checked in too often or not often enough & even offered my coffee to go. I definitely recommend the food - we left satisfied and the plates are surprisingly big!

Bright and casual spot with a good brunch menu: omelets, pancakes, and avocado toast were well-prepared. Service was friendly and quick. Downside: the salad side I ordered wasn’t fresh, which was disappointing. Can get busy on weekends, so early arrival is best.

Nothing short of outstanding! Get the steak chimichurri hash if they have it available. It’s like everything they do comes out fire. You won’t regret having breakfast here

Always a great time at First Watch! I received a email from First Watch saying they missed me 💁🏽‍♂️ lol and gave me a BOGO coupon. I decided to come today and glad I did. Everything was great, from the drinks, to the food, to the service from Maria. I would definitely be returning as this is my fav breakfast spot!

If I could give this review 10 stars, I would! If you are heading to First Watch, do yourself a massive favor and ask for Mahalia. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely top notch, and it is all thanks to her world-class service! From the moment i walked in, Mahalia brought a level of excitement and warmth that turned a standard breakfast into a total highlight of the day. Her energy is fantastic—it’s contagious! She has this incredible way of making you feel like the most important person in the restaurant, even when the floor is buzzing. I cannot stress enough how attentive she is. Mahalia was constantly attending my table with a level of precision that you usually only find in fine dining. • Refills? They appeared before the glass was even empty. • Special requests? Handled with a "can-do" attitude and a smile. • Timing? Absolutely perfect. She is truly exceptional (or as I like to say, epechianal!) in how she manages the flow of the meal. You never feel rushed, yet you never have to wait. It is a seamless, high speed masterclass in quality service. Mahalia doesn’t just "serve food"—she creates an atmosphere. It is so rare to find someone who is this dedicated, this professional, and this genuinely kind. She is a total rockstar and a massive asset to the First Watch team. The food is always good here! They have great customer service & never a long wait time even on their busiest days. I personally love getting the banana granola pancake it's huge and full of flavor! This has been my go to breakfast spot when I'm in the mood for a good breakfast with a nice clean atmosphere.

Great spot. We visited on a Sunday morning and as you can see easy to get a seat and parking was not an issue. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed our experience and will visit again.

Food is good, pancakes were fresh, but service was HORRIBLE!! The worst First Watch experience for me by far. I was never greeted by any host only acknowledged for a pick up/Door Dash which I was not. I waited for approximately 3 minutes until I was asked to "Go ahead". I replied that I wanted to seated. I've never been told to "Go ahead" by any establishment before. After being seated, the same lady who sat me down took my order without a pad and apparently got the order wrong. I asked for a Salmon Frittata WITHOUT CREAM DRIZZLE but got that one. I waited for the order to be remade. I didn't get a refill of water for a while and but I was approached and asked if I was okay by a different woman. I told her I wanted some water she said "okay" and left and never returned. I began coughing and slightly chocking on my food until she recognized she forgot to return with water (my table is right in front of the kitchen by the way) and the original server came with room temperature lukewarm water. It felt like the water came from the restroom or sink. I've never been treated so poorly at any restaurant before, DEFINITELY not at ANY OTHER FIRST WATCH! I will never return here again. There are way too many other First Watch options in Houston. Everyone else seems to be well taken care of so the entire ordeal definitely feels racially charged and definitely racially insensitive (I spoke to the manager after and she decided to take care of the bill after I explained my deepest frustrations with the service but she smirked when I told her the whole situation felt racial, I am not clear to why that was funny but I'm not on the other end). I wasn't going to complain or leave a review until the warm water came. That never happened.

First time coming to this place, and it's delicious! The service was great and friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes!

Always a consistent breakfast place. Love their blueberry pancakes and their coffee. When ordering the "Tri-Fecta" or "Traditional", it always comes in the clutch. Right now, for a limited time, you can check out their Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast. I got it with their bacon, and it was pretty damn good!

Deciding on First Watch always ends up as a good choice! This time we tried their Salted Caramel Holey Donuts- which are only available for the fall season. We got the Traditional Breakfast which doesn't come with pancakes so getting the donut holes were a perfect substitution!

Went here for a breakfast putting with my friends daughter. I'd heard it was a great breakfast spot that served good consistent meals. Everything we had was delicious and the services was great as well.

Was in town visiting family and ended up coming here twice because it was so nice. The servers were extremely helpful and offered great food and drink recommendations. The Hacienda hash was okay but I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits! We came back because they have a dog friendly patio and they were sure to get our pup a bowl and cold water on a warm day!

The lemon ricotta pancake was delicious. Had it with bacon and eggs. Syrup wasn't necessary as the pancake was lite and fluffy and the lemon curd ricotta along with the diced strawberries were perfect

I ordered the traditional breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes. Pretty good and good presentation for delivery. I just thought a little expensive for two eggs. Also the potatoes were burnt. My husband had the turkey sausage patty and eggs with a waffle. I can't remember what it was called and didn't bother to look it up. He enjoyed his breakfast. Keep in mind if your reading this review I'm not a big breakfast person. I normally don't eat until noon.

Where do I begin? Let's start with My fave! The Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk is soooo good! It's an oatmilk and Rum drink that gives just the right amount of buzz on anyday :) The food has never really disappointed unless it was something new on the menu I ventured out on as They offer new menu items often depending on the season! You can never go wrong with the fresh juices They offer as They are healthy, fun, and aesthetically appealing to look at! It's usually crowded but not overwhelming! They are not open late in the evening so getting there the early the better is recommended! I've ordered to go many times and the food is almost as good when dining but the experience of eating at the restaurant doesn't compare to the freshness You get. My favorite food would have to be the grits, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and waffles! One of the limited time items I thoroughly enjoy is the vegan Cauli Rizo tacos! Yum :) Please bring Them back already! Oh, the avocado toast is yummy too! It's definitely a kid friendly vibe. My cubs love the pancakes :) They always get extra chocolate chips LoL but it's never overly sweet always the perfect amount. There's other flavors like carrot cake that is also really good! First Watch is the perfect destination for breakfast! Although, there is other options on the menu for lunch too! It's located in the parking lot with Target on Eldridge and Westheimer! The service is always pleasant :) You won't be disappointed!

I think I found a new spot that I'll be going to for breakfast/brunch. Food had amazing flavor and very fresh. The "Parma Hash" I ordered it with sunny side up eggs, it came with potatoes, onions, Italian sausage, crimini mushrooms, and much more. A mix of two melted cheeses, definitely brought the saltiness. The mushrooms were definitely my favorite. Potatoes would've been perfected is they were on the crispier side. Orange juice freshly squeezed. Can't beat that. French toast was delightful. Each slice of toast was bigger than the average . Warm syrup to top it off. The other dish was the "Traditional" plate. Standard, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. Eggs needed a little more salt but easy fix. Service was awesome, and very fast. Cute little spot and clean! We even had the door opened as we walked out!

I must admit that I was a little disappointed with my meal here. Loved the eggs and potatoes, even though the eggs were not medium. The potatoes were slightly crispy and well seasoned. Staff was friendly too. However, I ordered the lemon curd pancakes and I wish I had ordered something else. It's basically a big cold plop of lemon curd on top of a luke warm set of pancakes. The pancakes had ricotta cheese in them, but this didn't seem to complement the pancakes. Maybe if the curd was warm or the pancakes were hotter so that the curd would melt slightly? The pancakes were kind of crumbly with the ricotta cheese. The tiny dusting of powdered sugar and strawberries didn't help it much. I think this dish could work better if it were executed differently, for me anyways. That being said, I saw some really nice dishes coming out of the kitchen for other patrons, so I'll definitely be giving it another shot! Especially with all the high ratings :)

Hi Guys!!! I ordered the Watermelon Wake-up, organic unbleached grits, and the (I think it was called) the Morning Veg. which has lake, zucchini, and onion. It was originally an omelet, but I couldn't eat all of the ingredients. My husband ordered The Traditional. We enjoyed our food, but the waitress had to take my food back twice because, she didn't speak fluent English, and kept messing up my order. I'm so grateful that after the 3rd try they got it correct!!! I especially loved the grits!!! I do suggested incorporating salt and butter throughout the grits, then it would be a really enjoyable experience!!! The atmosphere is nice and clean, as well

I ordered breakfast this morning from a third-party delivery service. My food was delivered hot and within 30 minutes. I ordered a side of French toast and a side of grits. The French toast was light and fluffy and I enjoyed it. There was a small container of I believe jelly or marmalade included that was very good. I also ordered a side of grits. Grits were good, both the texture and consistency were good, but it was just way too much butter in the grits . I could not finish the grits for that reason. I believe when I ordered , the options online were either buttered or cheesy grits. I will select neither on my next order. That's my only quibble and other than that , a pretty solid breakfast.

The customer service is at zero. Nobody acknowledged I was there I have seen 3 people walk in and get seated. It's another 4 people here and the manager has asked me if can she help me.... My order has been sitting on a rack for 10/15 I was sitting here when a lady placed it on the rack. The manager carries the bag to the back and never comes back. I requested a refund. Rosie was the manager at the time after the refund was requested, she expected me to walk out with no proof of a refund. I have to wait longer for the refund because it's done through a vendor. While waiting Ashley came in and ordered and her food was brought to her before I had a refund. It wasn't placed on a shelf either, it was announced order for Ashley and placed in her hand.

Just FYI for people who have allergens: italian wedding soup has dairy, egg, soy, wheat, and celery as per their website. My daughter is allergic to egg and dairy.. when we asked the waitress, she said it's like chicken noodle soup so there aren't any eggs or dairy. Maybe she didn't think our allergens were serious? Whatever the case, she was not helpful. BUT, every other time we have been here, the other servers were pretty nice about it. Food is also pretty consistent.

I've been here a few times now so I feel like I can truly say this place is good! I really like the vibe inside. It's spacious without feeling like you're sitting on top of people next to you and you can easily have a conversation with your company you came with. It's also been clean each time I've come, which sad to say in this area of town can be an issue in my experience (and I live on 'this side of town'). As for food, drinks, and service it's been consistent each and every time! Solid!! I love they bring you a thermos of GOOD coffee as well! The juice drinks are so fresh and delightfully refreshing. My favorite being the Kale Tonic. I've tried the benedict, market hash, and market veggie omelet - all were stellar. I just don't go out for breakfast that often, but when someone wants to and we're in my hood, this is where I will take them. So if you're in the area and craving some breakfast - I recommend this place. Is it going to be written up in food magazine, no ... but it's a very solid four stars from me!

The food is always good. If you don't know what to order, get the frittata rustica. We love the mimosas too. Out server Mercedes was the best

The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff was friendly, The ambiance was inviting and clean. We didn't encounter any problems, hope to return soon.

Someone recommended this place but it was a huge miss for us. Ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and it was terrible. Served luke warm and the eggs were overcooked. Food isn't seasoned well here and lacks flavor. This was just a no all around.

Stopped in here for brunch on a whim and it was delicious! Service was terrific and the Millionaire Bacon, Trifecta, mimosas, coffee, Brooklyn Breakfast, and BLT Benedict were all so yummy! Definitely will stop in here again when I'm in town.

We've been coming here for a longtime, today was my last trip here. I tried to come last week parked and went in to a table and sat there forever without being acknowledged, finally got up and left to go to another restaurant, where I subsequently had a great breakfast. Thought I'd go back today and give it another chance. Walked up to a waitress I knew and asked for her table, she said to just sit anywhere. So I did and it took forever to get waited on, by another waitress. Placed my order and asked for honey for my tea. Waitress brought everything but the honey. Said I'd like some honey and she responded affirmatively. Waited five minutes for honey and when I got up the waitress was sitting at a back table reading a book, so much for the customer service they used to have. Eventually got my order and the egg whites were still liquid nowhere near cooked. Sent the egg's back and waited and waited. Finally started eating my bacon toast etc. that was left behind because they were getting cold. Ate them very slowly hoping to get my eggs. But no, the eggs came back out after everything else was gone. Tried to eat the eggs and then went to pay. I had a FW gift card that originally had $250 on it and still had $36+ on it. The cashier couldn't get it to work so she got a mgr who also couldn't get it to work, although they had no problem with the other $200+ on it. I told them to let Josh the mgr know that I'm through eating here based on the complete lack of service last week and the horrible experience today. Left the gift card behind and paid my bill for the poorly cooked meal and even worse service and left.

Found a new favorite breakfast and brunch stop in Houston. Great menu with a variety of things for everyone. From the healthy options such as the AM Superfoods Bowl to pancakes where you better get only one because on the menu they say they are humongous! The short rib poutine hash has a fantastic flavor, as do the lemon ricotta pancakes. See, something for everyone.

Went to First Watch for lunch today and ordered Shrimp and Grits, they were wonderful. I would order this dish again and again.

I loved the one out in Katy so when they built this one down the street I was excited to eat there but boy am I disappointed. So far I had to literally stop someone to get some water after waiting 20 minutes. A buss boy/runner had to take our order after waiting 30 minutes since sitting down only to continuously get told no when asking if they could substitute things or even just add sausage.

I always come here with friends or a quick breakfast. The drinks are amazing and so refreshing. Can't complain about the price, I mean I could...but I won't. Haven't had a bad experience yet and the million dollar bacon is always on my receipt...for good reason. My favorite thing is the sunrise juice with turmeric and it really wakes me up! Let me know what you think of it or any of the other juices on tap.

Cups are very dirty and service isn't so great. But food is great! Workers in restroom on the phone and not very attentive.

This First Watch location is CONSISTENTLY fast, delicious, and provides wonderful service. Highly recommend

The food was hot and fresh. The waitress was on point but little bit annoying coming to our table every 2 minutes like he wants to be part of our conversation. Overall it was a great experience I will highly recommend this place to start your day

Bad and didn't give me my phone and I ask for no blue cheese on the cob salad and still gave it to me.

Worst service out of all locations , first time I came and the waiter took forever to get our meal , but ok everybody deserves a second chance . Second time it took the hostess like 20 mins to sit us with many empty tables and were a party of two , I walked out and left after other people got seated that came in after us. Worst service ever i recommend going to the Katy location this one sucks

Considering their prices, I would expect better quality. I ordered take-out. I don't think they would have served this to me in person.

This is a MUST if you're in Houston! So many things on the menu to try! Fabulous flavor, wonderful service and awesome staff!

Excellent service. I visit for the farmhouse skillet. Which is my favorite. Could have got a little more love on the avocados but it was not bad. It was so great that I continue to eat pass my level of fullness.

Yesterday I came here and my sandwich was not to my liking,I didn't have time to wait. Mgr was amazing,gave him my name,I gave all the food back. Came today and boom!!!!got my Turkey sandwich!!!!

Terrible experience and unprofessional service. The food here is terribly overpriced, for terribly meager portions, but I had a craving for pancakes that weren't IHOP or Denny's. Being how expensive this place is, I expect decent service, even when just doing curbside pickup. Sadly, my experience was very poor. Not only did I have to wait for close to ten minutes at the designated "curbside" pickup area, but then, after I called, I waited a further 5 minutes before I got so frustrated I went to go check for my food. There were 4 waitresses and 3 hostesses all chatting around the entrance and my food cold and forgotten on the shelf. I was told that a drink I ordered was discontinued... even though there was a flyer promoting it on the window... I'm extremely disappointed with this place and I will not be returning.

Been to other locations but first time at this location. The food was good and and service was pretty ok. I always enjoy the million dollar bacon... so never say no to that! Ohhhhhh before I forget! Definitely try the breakfast potatoes!!!! I should probably go back and try their lunch menu

Great food and service... The coffee is fresh and hot and it's a nice environment to have your first (or second) meal of the day in. The staff, especially my server Katherin were all on top of tasks and super friendly. Their menu is big enough for everyone to find something to suit their tastes and they have a great seasonal menu too! This is the perfect brunch spot, they even have cocktails! Don't sleep on First Watch!

This kitchen can't even cook potatoes correctly, also very low quality ingredients. I ordered the steak burrito with seasoned potatoes on the side, potatoes were severely undercooked I had to cook them myself again to be edible. My burrito tasted like all the ingredients came from a can from a run down supermarket. I spent $60 here and was not satisfied, save your money for elsewhere.

Quietly opening in August, First Watch has had a lengthy soft opening. You're welcomed to a bright, cheerful environment. What sets First Watch apart is the wide variety of healthy options. You won't find fries or chips on the menu. Lots of vegetarian,vegan, gluten free choices. I've never been much of a "juice" fan, but their drinks were fabulous. Even the green kale juice mix was fantastic. I ordered a turkey burger. Great flavor. Firm texture. Served with a side salad. My wife ordered a cinnamon chip pancake with 2 eggs & turkey sausage. The pancake was fabulous. Eggs are eggs. Room for improvement? Never got a refill on my ice tea. And the pancakes were served with just one sausage link. The waitress forgot to bring the second link until we reminded her. That's what soft openings are for. They'll get these bugs worked out. I know we'll be back.

If you're a fan of great service and yummy healthy food then this is the place to be! We ate breakfast here this morning (our first time here) we were greeted by several staff members (very diverse and friendly staff) and seated promptly. You're table is not assigned to one waiter, which I love, literally several servers will come up and ask if you need anything. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Now on to the food. Coffee is brought to your table as well as water. I wanted something refreshing so I asked for the 'Morning Meditation' juice (Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet.) Very refreshing and tasty! I ordered the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Messy to eat? Yes. However still tasty. Came with some delicious seasoned potatoes! My mom ordered pancakes and I ordered pancakes for my kids. Be warned you only get one pancake but it is one HUGE pancake. Both of my kids shared one chocolate chip pancake it was that big. We tried their Million Dollar Bacon ( hardwood smoked bacon with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle) It does have a peppery kick to it but it was good and I didn't mind the spicy kick. Now are 4 pieces of bacon worth $4? Hmm depends on how much you like bacon I guess. Overall First Watch was a pleasant surprise and I will be back for lunch service! They definitely have earned a repeat customer! Highly recommended!

I was very happy when they came to our neighborhood but this location sucks! Long wait, unprofessional staff and kitchen is probably the worst of all. We go there once a month for brunch or lunch and its very normal to get wrong food, cold food or bad quality food. Today I got cold pancakes, butter wouldn't even melt on it. Whats the point Of serving pancakes that is cold ? It doesn't feel good when u wait 50 mins for your food and then u r served cold food. It shows u r not professional. U don't care about your customers. I know you are sorry too but I wasted a beautiful Sunday morning in your restaurant. Thats the time that won't come back anymore. Staffs are not smiling here for sure. I really don't think they are busy. There are always empty tables here and there . After covid their service has gone worse. I understand the staff shortages and etc., but this location has far more problems than the staff shortages. Having a manager on duty might help. Maybe they have one on duty but I have never seen a manager checking on tables or managing the staff. Waiter and waitress wont check on you ever, unless you find them and grab them and tell em what you need. I wish this location was better because its very close to our house. I guess it is what it is.
