There aren't enough words to describe the level of outstanding care FirstLight had with my dad. Bethany's communication, and the care workers attention to detail was so appreciated in a time that everything had to be in place quickly once my dad left the hospital. And the peace of mind knowing that he was cared for when I live 250 miles away. I highly recommend their services and if we were to ever need again, they are the ones we will only call. Thank you! All of the staff and Caregivers have been totally AMAZING since my first meeting with Bethany several months ago. I never knew they existed until someone told my daughter about them (who lives in Florida). She flew up here to Ohio and scheduled a meeting right away. I didn't let myself get high hopes because of all the huge disappointments we've had recently, but to my total surprise - they went above and beyond anything I could have imagined or prayed for. My only true regret is not knowing about First Light a LOT earlier! I was in the Healthcare field my whole life, and I've witnessed a lot of good and bad facilities and care. I would have given anything to work for First Light back then, if I would have known about them and how truly caring and amazing everyone is. Now I want to shout First Light's praise because they are "doing" what every single person deserves for their care. There's no excuses for anything less. I've noticed how happy everyone seems to be with their jobs, and I believe First Light does right by their employees as well as their patients - because it shows in so many ways. I have gotten so much better since they've been coming, and my mental health is better than ever now. I wouldn't have made it if I would have had to stay at either of the Nursing Homes I was in any longer. THANK YOU to First Light, and to everyone working "with and for" them. I believe all of you will have a special place in Heaven. You are making ALL the difference!

First Light sent an amazing caregiver to spend evening with my Mother who was with Hospice at age 98. My Mother led an amazing life as an artist, philanthropist and activist. We wanted her to be comfortable and have the best care possible at the end of her life. First Light was instrumental in providing additional support for her and we are forever grateful.

First Light was the only positive experience we had related to my dad’s injury. First Light did everything they advertised to do and was always on top of everything. We never had to worry about my dad getting the best of care, every day. The staff was always helpful and friendly and the caregivers were just that, caregivers. We just started with First Light and they have knocked our socks off! Right off the bat they were challenged with the recent winter storm, and they worked to make sure each shift was covered. The caregivers we’ve had are on top of everything, including stuff I would think of as a family caregiver, are fun to have around, and are eager to help. Clearly we might the right call by bringing First Light into our lives!

First Light saved us so much worry! With 24/7 care, we were able to be certain my mother was taken care of even though I was states away. The friendships my mother made with her caregiver gave her much joy at such a difficult time.

Our family cannot express how much we appreciate the caregivers and staff at FirstLight of Licking and Fairfield Counties. The sincere and experienced care that Makayla, Sam, and Hope gave to our mom during this difficult stage of her life was a great gift to her and our family. Thanks to each of you. Jade from First Light was my father’s primary care giver. She always took the best care of my father from personal care to cooking to laundry etc. Any time there was a slight change with my father she would be in contact with me. My father waited for her to arrive and was happy to see her. When we needed 24 hour care at times all staff was professional and took care of my father as their own. My father absolutely wanted to go to his granddaughter’s (my daughter’s) wedding.Jade was able to get my father ready to go and drove him to the church and then the venue where she stayed by his side at all times. She then took him back home. When my father needed a long term care facility, Jade was able to provide him companionship and still kept me updated with any changes. Dena was great with scheduling and any questions I might have. She also kept in contact during any hospital stays my father had. Jade is considered part of the family. First Light is highly recommended!
