Awesome place to get fish and chips. First time here and I enjoyed the food. I ordered the bangers and mash, small fish and chips, and onions rings. All the food seems to be made in house which is another plus. They also have a cool store attached that has snacks/foods from the UK.

Wow this place is good. The fish was well cooked and the batter was light, crispy and airy. The chips were cut traditional with the perfect fry and almost mash like insides. The tartars sauce is incredible. We also ordered Bangers and mash. The sausages had a nice rosemary flavor and the gravy for the mash potatoes was super savory as if it was from a pot roast. This restaurant is delicious and I cant wait to eat here again.

In my travels across the world, this place has the best fish and chips in America. The fish is moist and cooked to perfection, oh so nice. The batter was incredibly light and crispy. Wow. As far as the fries, they were not my favorite. I know it’s not traditional, but I like thin crispy fries. We also had the crab dip. It was tasty and hot and it went well with the fries. The onion rings were good. The chicken strips were only so, so. Like they came out of a pre-made freezer bag. But it’s for the kids and they enjoyed it. I hope this place continues to stay open, as again this is the best tasting fish and chips I’ve had in America. But they need to amp up the menu, like Cajun or truffle fries. And I think burgers would do better than steak and ale pie. Also, I think they need to display only a limited number of alcoholic beverages to make decisions easier and faster. Bottom line: Enjoy the fish and chips.

I had read an article about Fish & Fizz and we decided to try it out. The fish and chips were delicious! The fish was perfect, as well as the light, crispy batter. 😋 We also had the crab dip appetizer and it was crazy good! What an unexpected treat! We have lived in New England many years, so we know fantastic seafood. The British Emporium store is fabulous as well, the restaurant and store are combined. All things English. It was a delightful afternoon! We also purchased some English desserts to go.

I was utterly charmed by this place. It’s super cute down to the shirts for sale with the cute sayings like “Cod save the queen”. It’s got a beach side feel to it—bright but welcoming. Not pretentious at all. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out in with your friends. Upon entering, you’re at the bar with a small market set up next to it. For food, you go into the main dining area and make your way around a beach like fence divider to the counter to order. The aisle is wide enough for a wheel chair and shouldn’t be too hard to navigate for those that need more accessible friendly options. We came here for a book club dinner group. Our book was British and fish and fizz was the perfect compliment to our story. We shared a few orders of crab dip as a table which was quite scrumptious. It does have a bit of spice to it but it was the kind that compliments, not overwhelms. Most of us ordered the fish and chips happy hour special. It was a large piece of code with chips (aka Thick potatoy fries) and your choice of side. I opted for the curry sauce side and it was perfect! The fries aren’t my favorite style, but I believe they are the most traditional for fish chips. But the fish was perfectly fried and seasoned. Absolute delicious! One of us got the bangers and mash which I got to try—delicious. I was nervous about the Guinness gravy, but the Guinness wasn’t overwhelming. We skipped dessert this time but they did have a few options like sticky toffee puddind or bread and butter pudding. There are games outside and an old black cab with the restaurant logo. It was such a fun touch to the atmosphere. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot. The owner introduced himself to me as I was taking my pics. His name is Nick, and while he was busy in the kitchen, he gave me time anyway. Quite charming and friendly with his lovely British accent. I would love to come back with my family as I know my kids and husband would love it too.

Ordered the large fish and chips. This was a to go order. The fries were large and cooked just right, just a little salt on them. They were very good. The fish was good but, it did need some seasoning. The restaurant is very small, limited seating. The restaurant also has a little store that sells food products from the UK, part of the reason why the restaurant had few tables. The food came out quickly but, it was placed in boxes, probably not the best for hot food with fries. I would recommend eating there than to go. Just a warning, the large order is a lot. Good for sharing or a very hungry person.

Best Fish and Chips by far! So traditional, reminded me of being back in the UK. Manager and staff are very sweet and accommodating. Food came out in a good amount of time. They even have IrnBru for a true Londoner. Will be back again!
