This place is ridiculously cute inside think cozy coastal vibes with soft lighting, nautical touches, and little vintage details that make it feel homey without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger a little longer, just because it feels good to be there. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth fresh on the inside. You can actually taste the difference, it’s clear they don’t mess around when it comes to quality. The chips? Golden, fluffy, and just the right amount of salty. I could go on, but honestly just try them and thank me later. It’s not just good service, it’s that relaxed, genuine kind where you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time walking through the door. If you’re craving classic fish and chips done right, in a space that feels like a cozy hug, do yourself a favor and swing by.

Went in thinking about grabbing a quick bite from a counter service joint. I got some of the best food I’ve had in a while. A value at twice the price for the Fish Sandwich and the Chowder had so much flavor and so much fish it was almost a meal. Smart choices all the way down to the lettuce, bun and homemade tartar sauce. This place kills it!

Came for brunch with a group of friends - was busier than we expected! Delicious fish and chips (most restaurants have it too breaded, but this one was perfect) and smoked fish melt! As soon as the plate was in front of me, my mouth was watering just because it smelled so good 🤤 would definitely go again.

This is a great spot! The fish and chips are excellent. The batter on the fish is light and crispy. The fries are great. Folks are lovely!

I was looking for a place to get some highly rated seafood, and came across Fish & Whistle. This is a bustling, husband and wife owned place. Jason is very invested in his baby, as you can tell by how he interacts with his customers, and makes sure everything in the kitchen is up to his standards. His wife, Kate was not in when we visited, but we were told she makes all the soft serve ice cream, the champagne parfait, and any of the sweets they might have at the time. The buns for sandwiches are all homemade as well. I went with two other people, and we all decided to go with the most popular menu item, the fish and chips. They have three sizes, petite, half, and full. The half was perfect for me and the full was big enough to split between two people. The malt vinegar fries are delicious, and the batter on the fish is so perfectly done and crispy. Oh my goodness... They also serve a vinegar based cole slaw you can get on the side. This was such the perfect complement to the fish. The flavor is fantastic, and you can tell a lot of love is put into it, as well. So light and delicious. I'm not a huge tartar sauce fan, in general, but I wanted to just keep eating theirs. I didn't ask but I'm pretty sure it's all made from scratch, as well. Please do yourself a favor and support a fantastic place. They have also been nominated for a James Beard award. Delicious food and the price is reasonable.

Google
Food is tasty and fresh, best tartar sauce I've had. Fish portions are large. Fish and chips "bites" were definitely not bite-sized (which was a negative for me, but others might like). Would have preferred our Maine Root sodas in the glass instead of being poured into old plastic cups before being given to us. Staff were all super friendly.

Did take out this evening. To start off the team behind the counter was wonderful! Then when we had the food at home we really enjoyed it. So good! Highly recommend it

Google
The fish and chips did not disappoint. It came out fresh and hot, light, crispy, and tender at the same time. The full size is big enough for two people. This is as delicious as the fish and chip I had in England. Stopped by in a Saturday afternoon, small restaurant, crowded but not too long of a wait. Friendly service. Order at the counter. Highly recommend it if you’re in town for some good fish and chips and fish chowder.

Yelp
The hype is real: their fish & chips are excellent, top to bottom. The portion is crazy big (seriously, how is my half portion bigger than other places' full portion?), with a perfect batter (fluffy, crispy, flavorful) surrounding a moist and perfectly cooked fish, over skin-on fries, with house tartar for dipping and a lemon wedge for squeezing. Add a side of the house curry for dipping (a slightly spicer version of Irish curry), and you're golden, no notes- other than eat it immediately, because like all take out, it'll start to steam in the box on the ride home. Love that they have squidwiches too, a great unique option to mix it up.

Yelp
Oh the hype is so very real! Fish & Whistle is taking a simple concept - fried seafood and similar things - and excelling at it in every way! This little Biddeford spot is counter service and somewhat limited seating, so come early or plan to take it to-go. There is also bar seating, which is what we opted for, because that's where you'll get the best viewing of those giant pieces of fish taking a swim in the fryer! Let me back up - I don't have any earthly idea how someone would finish the full size fish and chips because it's bigger than a newborn. Seriously. I got the half order and it would've been incredibly tough to finish had it not been so freaking delicious. The breading is so dang crispy it's *dreamy*. The fish is so flaky and tender. Fries are hand cut and nice and crispy. Slaw is different than most - really thinly shaved cabbage and other veg, tossed in a super light vinegary dressing. I love traditional creamy coleslaw so it was just ok for me at first. But after a few bites of that fried goodness, the coleslaw is an absolutely perfect respite. It's a palate cleanser! The beer and wine selection is small but curated... Everything is on there for a reason. The rose was light and dry and just a little bit fruity - a perfect pairing with our meal. Their desserts are made in house too, and while we didn't get to try any while we were there, it sounds like they are not to be missed! So what are you waiting for? Get yourself to Fish and Whistle for some of the best fish and chips you'll ever get your hands on!

Yelp
I should have reviewed Fish & Whistle ages ago, but have neglected a shout-out for this amazing spot for too long. Simply put, this place will knock your socks off. It's beautifully casual and unfussy with neat nautical decor and beautiful plants strung throughout the place. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. You often get a visit from one of the owners, she's also a pastry chef and is responsible for the fluffy milk buns they use for their sandwiches. They have the fryer down to a science. The battered fish comes out piping hot and delightfully crispy and light. The breading doesn't overpower the fish like st other places. The green goddess salad is always fresh and wonderful too. Definitely stop the next time you're in Biddeford. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Recommended: Yes, for outstanding fish and chips! Overall: A noteworthy fish and chips spot but be prepared for a small location with tight seating more suited for a date night. Snapshot: Food: 5/5 Drink: 4/5 Vibe: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 4/5 ‍‍ Family-Friendly: 2/5 Highlights: Perfect For: Enjoying excellently prepared fish in a small, intimate location Don't Miss: The light, perfectly cooked fish and the uniquely delicious coleslaw Bonus Tip: Save room for their rotating selection of fresh, unique ice cream flavors All The Details: My visit to Fish and Whistle in Biddeford came with high expectations, fueled by the chef/owner's reputed pedigree, and I wasn't disappointed. The fish was cooked to perfection, featuring a light batter and fresh, thick, white, flaky texture - it doesn't get much better than that. While the style of fries wasn't my personal favorite, the coleslaw was a pleasant surprise. I usually hate coleslaw, but their version was uniquely delicious. The drink menu is small but well-curated, making it easy to find a beer that pairs beautifully with the meal. The major drawback of Fish and Whistle is its extremely small size, which proved challenging with a baby. The lack of space for a stroller and absence of high chairs made the dining experience a bit difficult. Despite these spatial constraints, the quality of the fish alone is a compelling reason to return. On my next visit, I plan to leave room for their unique and fresh rotating ice cream flavors, which I regretfully didn't try this time.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place on the way home from Portland and it hands down beats any seafood we could have eaten there. The fish sandwich was light and crispy and the marinara squidwich was a cooked perfectly with a hot cherry peppers as a creative surprise. Started with fish chowder with delicious broth and a green goodness salad for an herby balance. Wish we would have taken pictures! Definitely will be back soon!

Yelp
Small, intimate, yummy, and definitely (if you have to) worth the wait... Check the board for their specials, on our visit there was a lovely fish dip that was served with fried Saltines. I have never thought of frying this simple cracker however, the end result is magical. Pro tip, the 1/2 Fish & Chips is a ton of food for a single person. Only the exceptionally hungry should consider the full portion.

Yelp
If you haven't been here yet, I humbly ask you what the hell are you doing with your life? Being born and raised in New England, I like to think that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to a good order of fish & chips, but never in my life was I prepared for the Fish & Whistle. This makes my third visit - and it's almost like it gets better every time. This visit was on my birthday - and I can't imagine a more delicious way to celebrate my 42nd year. If you ask for a full order please be prepared to share this with someone. My someone is my husband, and we are fully aware that when we get a full order we'll be splitting it and taking half home. This meal is outstanding - a full fish arrives on your plate encased in a batter that begs you to actually knock on it, as it is locked and loaded. Inside is the most delectable, moist selection from the sea - and would you believe it's seasoned to perfection? It is! The order comes with handcut fries which are also well-seasoned, and although this might sound braggy - the tartar sauce is good, too! They've got a selection of Maine-made sodas on tap, the root beer is great. I wouldn't recommend the rootbeer float, though - because at $6 each I didn't expect a four-ounce pour with soft serve. But hey - you can't be perfect on all counts, right? Fish & Whistle, I am absolutely in love with you. We will be back, frequently.

Yelp
Generous portions, prompt service, fish and chip eatery. Wish them well. Seems to be a reliable spot if you are foot traffic.

Yelp
Portions, service, quality of ingredients. Fish and whistle is a home run. The team behind this spot are seasoned pros and it shows in their hospitality and the quality of the food they are putting out. The best fish and chips i have ever had. Well rounded beer list, too. Nothing better than a cold Allagash White or Bissell IPA with a plate of perfectly fried flaky fish. The fries are insane, too.

Karen C.

Yelp
I had the fish sandwich. So good!Delicious and crispy. Easy to get in and out of for take out. Its a small place, but there is a parking lot.Local fresh seafood food fried to prefection. Highly recommend. Intially I was turned off because the fish was pollick and not haddock, but truly I couldnt tell the difference. If you are craving a fish sandwich or fish and chips you wont be disappointed.

Yelp
This was the best meal I ate while visiting Maine!!! A coworker was also working in the area so we decided to meet up for dinner. I like to eat local and this place had good reviews. Parking is limited, you can park on the street or there are a few spots next to the restaurant. The menu is minimal. I always find that to be a good thing, these places know what they do well and don't try to explore areas beyond that. They have fish, chicken, salads, a few apps and that is about it. My co worker had the squidwich. A filet of calamari, on a bun fried to perfection. He said it was really good. They also have a squidwich with marinara, I think I would have tried this but he said he was so intrigued with the idea of a calamari sandwich that he didn't look beyond it. I asked the server what the difference was between a full and half order of fish and chips. She held her hands out about 12 inches and said this is a half, then stretched them further and said this is a full. I reluctantly chose the half with a side of cole slaw. When it came out the fish was close to 3/4 inch thick. It had good batter, maybe a tempura, but not so thick as to overpower the fish. I don't know what kind of fish it was but it was white, moist and flaky. I have not eaten a lot of fried fish that was not from a fast food or chain place, I prefer it grilled or broiled, but this was the best fried fish I have ever eaten. The fries were hand cut and were seasoned well. I did not finish them as the fish was so big (did I mention a half order). They were good though The soda is local to Maine. No Coke or Pepsi, I think the lady said it is called Maine Root, I drink diet and it was a little more mild than Coke and not as sweet as Pepsi. I did go back for a refill. The only disappointment to me was the slaw. It was $4 and I only took a few bites. Honestly I think it is a geographical thing. Being from the south I am used to creamy slaw that is sweet. This was thin cut, very tart and in stead of a mayonnaise base it was the consistency of Italian dressing, might have been vinegar. I didn't like it but there were a lot of people who seemed to. Overall this was one of the most fun places with the best food and generous portions I have eaten in a while. If you are local I would encourage you to go often.

Yelp
Great fish, great portion, great vibe, and an ode to the late great John Prine. 10/10

Janel D.

Yelp
I don't get the hype. We found it to be overpriced and nothing special. Our fish and chips was heavy on the breading. It was a fluffy breading but there were many bites where I got breading only. Found the portion to be overpriced for what you get. The chicken sandwich barely had any chicken on it. Root beer was more ice than root beer. I would state that this is similar to food truck food but not the best food truck on the block. Everyone seems to love this place so maybe we ordered wrong. We won't be back.
google avatar

Jeff D.

Yelp
I went in on a very busy Friday afternoon and enjoyed the Fish and chips. The fish was fried with a tempura batter that usually consists of flour, egg and ice water. The Pollock was cooked perfectly and actually held together. The chips were crunchy and seasoned well. Lewiston by the Sea is getting better and better.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in here a few weeks back before going to sacred profane. The food was awesome. My wife and I split a large order of fish and chips. It was huge. It was a bit crowded when we were there, so the table was a little tight to site in, as the other table in the window had a family sitting there as well. Overall, I'd definitely stop in again if we are in the area again.

Martin G.

Yelp
Order at the counter then grab a table. Very high quality food that comes up quick. Fun unusual beverages.

Yelp
I felt particularly inspired to post a review after visiting the UK for 2 weeks, and Fish & Whistle held up and was even better than many of the fish & chips I had over there! The fish on the full portion is massive - you really could split it with 2-3 people. Don't ignore the fish bites though if you're on a bit of a budget, I probably wouldn't recommend getting both, but the fish bites are a cost effective way to have fried fish. I also love the green goddess salad, I'd probably say to get that over the slaw. The chowder and smoked fish dip are also both excellent. I'd never had a deep fried saltine- turns out they're delicious! In a state with lots of fried seafood, this is a brilliant way to freshen up the concept in a hip space. I want to try more of the sandwiches next. The bun is excellent (love milk bread)- the squidwich and as just alright, but I am intrigued by the tempeh sandwich for next time. Edit- I forgot to mention that this is a counter order place. We found it slightly unclear the first time we went. The bar orders with the bartender, but tables order at the register. They could probably add a few signs, as a few groups got confused when we were there.

Nancy H.

Yelp
This place is GREAT!! The fish and chips are really the best I have eaten anywhere, and I am a lifelong New Englander. I stop in as much as possible, because I am never disappointed. There is parking on the side of the building, ( reserved spots ), and also street parking. Always very busy, i call ahead for take out. Give them a try, and I bet you will be writing a positive review!

Yelp
Counter service, relaxed atmosphere. We had the half order of Fish & Chips and the Chicken Sandwich. The half order ($17) of fish was an enough for a single adult serving - the whole order ($29, I believe) would probably need to be shared, confirmed by the staff. The fish of the day was hake when we were there. Batter-fried, not breaded. The batter was light, crisp and flavorful. The fish was flakey, tender, juicy all the way through, perfectly cooked. Served with lemon, classic tartar sauce and thin-cut fries. The chicken sandwich ($14) was PERFECT. On a buttery, toasty brioche roll. There was a generous cut of brined, fried chicken, moist and full of flavor. Topped with coleslaw and pickles. Sooooo good! Ask for their house-made hot sauces. They're not wildly hot & have incredible flavor. Stayed for a glass of local blueberry wine, a pint of beer & the house-made soft serve: a twist of the flavors of the day, sea-salt vanilla & watermelon, in a chocolate dip.

Yelp
Squidwich was a solid four stars and was well worth the experience. Portion size for the fish and chips was great. Five stars for the fish and chips. Cheesecake was fine but nothing to write home about.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! I came across their IG account 5 days after they first opened, saw they had monkfish bites and visited 2 days later. Being from Midcoast Maine I've had some fried fish in my day and I can confidelity say monkfish is where it's at. I visited Fish and Whistle on a rainy Sunday and was happy to learn they have a couple dedicated parking spots in the lot next to the restaurant and there's a ton of on-street parking. The restaurant is quaint and seat-yourself, after you order at the counter. The menu is simple and has something for everyone. My husband and I split a large fried haddock with fries and coleslaw as well as fried monkfish bites to share. We both had local beers on draft while we sat at the counter and watched the action happen in the open kitchen. Our food was very hot and fresh when it was ready. It was prepared a mere 12 feet from us so fresh is an understatement. Everything was super hot so we dove into the fries first and holy smokes they were epic. Hand cut and perfectly salty. I saw the chef toss the fries in malt vinegar, which I was uncertain about, but I was so wrong. I'd make sure to get more fries next time. After eating fries I cut the fried monkfish chunks in half to cool faster. Monkfish is firmer than haddock so it didn't immediately fall apart, which I appreciate. I doused it in fresh squeezed lemon, dipped in tartar and then devoured it. It was super sweet and meaty. Simply delicious. I then had my half of the haddock and it was perfect. In retrospect I should have had the haddock first because let's be honest, I only wanted more monkfish. Finally, the other delicacy I wanted at Fish and Whistle was the HOMEMADE sea salt and passion fruit swirl soft serve. I had mine in a cone and my husband went with a dish. Make sure you save room for it because it's yummy, subtle and unique. Can't wait to visit again and treat my dad to the monkfish because I know he will love it too.

Yelp
Love this little gem. And for those who can't have gluten, their GF fish and chips are amazingly delicious. Also, delicious desserts including yummy soft serve. One of my favorites spots in Southern Maine. Check it out!

Yelp
Always love to try something new and especially in downtown Biddeford! We arrived within an hour of closing and the place was hopping! We grabbed a seat at the bar and were quickly greeted by the chef, owner and server. 5-star to the staff & vibe!!! My husband had the chicken sandwich and described it as ok and I had the squidwich with marinara sauce on a brioche and it was ok. I found the squid chewy but the overall flavor was delish! As a side, grab yourself some slaw!!! I am pretty sure I could eat that 3 meals a day! It's light, refreshing and savory. Not a super fried food lover but I am giving it a 5-star because the breading was light and full of flavor, the atmosphere was cozy and the staff was welcoming and full of hustle. Next time, we will have to try the token dish and go for the fish & chips!

Sheryl G.

Yelp
We stopped here today after seeing it mentioned on a public television program and checking Yelp reviews. The suggestion from a previous diner that the 1/2 order of fish and chips was perfect for one was excellent. We went on a Sunday evening so the in town traffic was minimal. The restaurant is small cute eclectic and clean. You order from a limited menu and then get a seat. The food is delivered to your table. Everything thing was hot and crispy. We ordered 2 1/2 orders of fish and chips with one side of coleslaw. The fries are delicious and the malt vinegar is already on the table. This place is a definite gem.

Yelp
The squidwich with marinara...extra pickled banana peppers, you're welcome. And the donuts are even better than they look.

Yelp
Cornmeal coated flounder was pretty good I enjoyed it. My oysters were eh but everything else was good including service.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Huots used to be my favorite place for fish and chips, F+W is my new go to.

Charles M.

Yelp
We eat at Fish & Whistle 1-2 times every month. We have had great food and friendly service every time! The fish is locally sourced from sustainable fisheries. The milk buns, used for any of the sandwiches, are baked in house and are AMAZINGLY good. It is fun to sit at the bar and watch all of the food being prepared. The portions are large, so pace yourself and leave room for the very tasty deserts!

Elaine B.

Yelp
Waitstaff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The BEST fish and chips we have ever had (and we've eaten them in London). We had the large portion and the fish stayed crispy crunching the entire meal. No soggy batter half way through the meal. Smoked fish spread was amazing as well as the "fried" saltines that accompanied it.

Patty M.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere excellent! The fish was fresh and in a tempura batter and loved the coleslaw without Mayo! The casual ambience and music were very cool. The old Mariam's has been reborn

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place. Yes, I've been stalking you for a long while and I've finally been able to try it out. The young woman that took our order was friendly and helpful. Service was prompt and we enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the kitchen work. We enjoyed everything, as we were there for a quick snack before an event. To say everything was perfect is an understatement. We got the Squidwich with sauce on the side, and we got both the tarter and marinara. Their marinara I will flat out say, i ate the leftover sauce as a soup. It was that good. The tartar was full of flavor, I enjoyed it had a lot of dill and it wasn't too chunky but just enough to know there is relish in it. So I'm not big into burger style buns. But these milk bread buns really compliment all the other textures and hold up well when eating. Usually when I think of a fried fish sandwich it's usually either with a sad hamburger bun, or those dry obnoxious Kaiser buns, so I usually leave a lot of the bread on the plate. I ate every bit (well half cause it was shared). The fish and chips, the light and airy batter was great, delicate but fresh fish, where the fish was the star. Additionally, their fries are so good I didn't even ask for ketchup. That is very unusual for me. And finally, the cinnamon soft serve. Oh dear god, what magic that was. I will be back. I wish we had more time to enjoy.

Yelp
2.5 stars. It's hot and not well air conditioned. No service. You order and then can select a seat in the dining area. The fish batter was light and crispy. Very reminiscent of English fish batter. The French fries were tasty. Hot and salty. The chicken sandwich had an overpowering taste of Jalepeno and was all slaw. There was barely a fragment of chicken. The green goddess salad was good. Slightly overdressed but decent. It's an ok spot for Biddeford. I've heard rave reviews but I wouldn't pass those rave reviews along.

Jacqueline F.

Yelp
Delicious. I had a special corneal coated flounder sandwich with a horseradish sauce. My husband had the "small" fish and chips which was a nice size portion. Everything was fresh and yummy.
google avatar

Zoe D.

Yelp
Worth the trip. Only having lobster rolls with fish roe from now on. Only having soft serve with vanilla sea salt, cardamom, jammy nectarines, and toasted bread crumbs from now on. The most delicious fish and chips ever. I said what I said. Super friendly staff to boot.

Victoria E.

Yelp
As a Biddeford native, I was SO HOPEFUL to love this place. I came in for Biddeford Restaurant Week and got a half-order of fish and chips and the fried diver scallops. Both were extremely greasy (stomach aches all around), had too much batter. I wish I'd taken a photo but the scallops looked like UFO ships there was WAY too much batter and little flavor. Plus they forgot the 2 free ice creams advertised as a special for restaurant week. The best part were the fries and curry dip. We were extremely disappointed and based on the rave reviews are hoping it was just a bad day. However, we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Yelp
Fantastic! A perfect fish and chips joint! Such perfectly crisp batter and beautiful fish and fries!Holy wow, skip the ketchup and go with the standard mayo! Wowza! I will add that since I have been following a low-fat lifestyle I generally have a super low tolerance for fried fiord . The last time I had fried fish it nearly did me in. Not so with Fish and whistle!! So well done. Extra kudos for offering more than substantial half-portions (of the fish and chips)as pictured). Or maybe it was their fabulous deserts that saved my tummy, the descriptions and photos do not do justice to how amazing the custard and rhubarb are, or how dense and creamy the soft serve with caramelized bread crumbs was. Savory sweet bowls of perfect happiness!!!!

Yelp
SO excited for Fish & Whistle's eagerly awaited arrival!!!!! We came in during their first official day open and enjoyed it so much!! We ordered a full fish & chips and a chicken sandwich. The fish was so perfectly fried and I loved the fries tossed lightly with vinegar. The chicken sandwich was also super crispy and the milk bread bun was squishy and soft. We were thrillllleeedddd to find out they have a soft serve machine, which had both vanilla and PASSION FRUIT!!!!! I love nothing more than soft serve & also love passion fruit everything... so I was basically living my best life Service seems to already have worked out a lot of the early kinks - as everything was running pretty smoothly!! We can't wait to continue to make our way through the menu.... And I foresee TONS of fish & chips in my future!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh hellllll yeah. Brianna and John of Time & Tide turned us onto this place. Only open 3 days and it's already out doing itself. The fish is beautiful, the tartar sauce with dill was refreshing, and the Cole slaw fresh and light. The passion fruit/vanilla was one of the best soft serves I have ever tasted. You're going to want to stop by and grab a bite.

Yelp
Came back a second time in two weeks for the delicious fish and chips, Friendly staff, efficient service and cool music!.

Mark M.

Yelp
This place is the perfect place for the rising Biddeford food scene. We tried the fish and chips, were just a little surprised by the price, but the QUALITY and QUANTITY justified it. The pollock is cooked perfectly. They take pride in their food and their venue, and it shows. We will return for sure.

Yelp
We've been to Fish & Whistle twice now and each time it was incredible. Do yourself a favor and order the fish sandwich! It's Amazon too to bottom, from the bun, the home made (I assume?) pickles, and the freshly battered and fried fish. It was delicious! The next time we went I ordered the full order of Fish & Chips and, holy moly, that's one big piece of fish! It was easily a foot long Halibut fillet that was so fresh! The meat was moist and mild flavor, exactly what I would expect from fresh Halibut. Seating inside is a little tight, so it's hit and miss if you'll be able to get a table. Usually there's a couple seats at the bar free, but at peak times it'll be packed.

Yelp
Have been trying to get down to this place for awhile now. So glad we did. Chowder was one of the better ones I have had and the fish and chips were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We loved it here. It's super warm and cozy. You order at counter and they bring your food to you. We had the green goddess salad that was fresh and country, the mussels on special were amazing and the wine was delicious. Will def be back!

Yelp
Best fish and chips I have ever had...including some big award winners in London. They cook it fast and the desserts are awesome.

Yelp
My favorite place right now. Best fish sandwich in the land! Love the light crispy batter and soft homemade bun, even love the sauce and pickle everything is fantastic. Don't skip the soft serve it's amazing and so flavorful but just a warning you won't be able to get soft serve anywhere else after because it won't compare!

Yelp
Small, casual, excellent place for fried fish! While I don't really eat fried food, a friend described their fish to me...and it surpassed my expectation. Wonderful, fresh pollock, lightly fried and accompanied, if you like, Cole slaw or French fries. They also have sandwiches with fish. The staff was super friendly too. Be forewarning that the few tables are filled quickly once they open midday. My guess is that one could fetch a table easier in the afternoon.
