This place had great food but the service was OUTSTANDING. I have a mixed shellfish allergy and given the theme of this restaurant I was a bit apprehensive about whether I could be accomodated. After speaking with our server Natasha, she had the chef come out to our table so we could further discuss the situation. He was able to make adjustments so my food could be prepared separately with no cross contamination. This resulted in slight delays in our food coming out but I had no issue with that.
With regards to the food, everything was prepared well and it all had bright and well developed flavors. The cheddar biscuits were good, one order was more than enough. My husband tried the fried conch and he was very pleased with the taste and texture (sweet like scallops with a calamari chew. The crab cakes (one of the shellfish I can eat) we're seasoned really well, but I could still taste the sweetness of the crab. My grouper was absolutely delicious with perfect doneness on the fish, and my husband's jerk chicken had the perfect level of spice. (I couldn't eat the chicken because it's prepared in the same oven as lobsters, Natasha pointed this out and I was thankful she did!) Rounding out the meal was the banana cream pie, an unexpectedly pleasant bite.
This was our first time at the Atlantis in the Bahamas, and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
