We came here today on Juneteenth, and I’m so happy we chose this restaurant. We were immediately greeted upon entering and sat inside with a nice view of Pleasure Pier. Our waitress was Miranda and she delivered exceptional service! She was very personable, friendly, attentive, readily available and provided us with great recommendations for drinks. The drinks were SO GOOD! We got the Caribbean Swirl and Sunset Punch. The food was amazing, no complaints at all. Thank you Miranda for being awesome and for being our waitress! If the manager is reading this, please give Miranda a raise - she deserves it!

Great atmosphere, cocktail drinks were like juice 🥴 informed the waiter and placed another order but was the same. (Margarita, Cadillac) Ouster were yummy but was served without crackers so had to ask for it. I was craving for pasta. But was served no bread. So it was like something missing. Garlic bread would be great to add on the pasta. Also had soda, was hoping for a refill but after the main course was served, the waiter never came back until we called for the bill. The white uniforms were looking worn out so the waiters were looking more presentable in darker color. This are just honest observation. Im sure not all servers are the same. A room for improvement. Do not be discourage to dine here. It is still worth the view and food. Will still be my go to place so far in the area.

We had an excellent experience at Fish Tales in Galveston. The drinks were perfectly made, the appetizers were delicious, and the food was cooked to perfection. Everything had great flavor and was served fresh. We sat on the balcony with a beautiful view of the beach, which made the meal even more enjoyable. What stood out the most was our amazing waiter—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. His service truly made our visit extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Galveston.

Having drinks at the bar while waiting for my table, and chatting with the Honduran bartender was the best part of the experience. We were shown from the bar to our table and waited about 5 minutes before the server came to introduce herself. I asked for water for the table then placed an appetizer order. I noticed there was no silverware after we ordered, so I got up and got silverware for my party. When the appetizer arrived the server also walked up and asked if we needed anything. We were missing the sauce, oyster toppings, and lemons for our oysters. I asked again for water, which we never got. We placed the food order and didn’t see the server until after the food arrived because a kitchen runner dropped off the food. At this point, we had no drinks so I got up and ordered drinks at the bar for my party. The server came after we had started to eat our food to check how everything was. Overall, the service was not great. The server was not attentive at all. The fish tacos were good. The sauce, slaw, and aioli are a tasty combination to top off the grilled fish. The oysters were decent. I would have drinks here and eat somewhere else.

Google
Go for the atmosphere, views, and location but don't go for the food or drinks or prices. It's a low quality tourist trap through-and-through. The service was attentive and it was nice sitting outside watching the pier and seawall. But the food - all of it - was mediocre at best and very overpriced. The calamari was bland and chewy, the 'blackened' fish barely seasoned and totally overcooked to the point it was barely edible. The drinks are weak and sickeningly sweet - and we tried 3 separate kinds between us so it wasn't just a fluke. For how bad the food was, you'd think it would be inexpensive...but no. Not even close. 2 stars bc the wait staff were and atmosphere made it tolerable...but barely. I wonder if the owners ever actually eat from the kitchen.

Google
Parking is confusing I was taken to a small table that was next to another table with a big party and I had no room to sit... There was other tables with plenty of room and no people but the host thought I should be crammed in that table and walked of like good luck so I had to sit on the end in the walkway it was very awkward prices seemed high but I did enjoy my food and I was hoping to sit upstairs with a view of pleasure pier or the ocean but I was put in the bk on the 1st floor so make sure u say what you want at the host stand cuz they don't care and will put u in the worst spot

Yelp
Cynthia was our waitress and she was amazing. She was very attentive kept checking on us. She was the best and the food was really good. Thank you so much Cynthia for your amazing service.

Yelp
Food and service was great. I can't remember my servers name but he was fantastic. Fish and chips were nice and the margarita was good. Manager was very friendly and gave us a card to leave a review. For some reason he smelled like maple syrup and that kind of threw me and my wife off since we don't remember seeing any brunch options but we will be inquiring about them soon!

Yelp
Best part of this restaurant, was the staff. Everyone was super friendly, and attentive. We had our small Frenchie with us, it had rained fairly hard before we came and they cleaned up our out door dining area super quickly. The food were great! Ordered some fish tacos, gulf coast oysters, and seafood platter. Everything was wonderful, oysters were fresh and decent sized, seafood platter fish was crispy and moist in the insides. The plate was super filling. And the tacos, properly grilled fish, with some crab meat and fresh vegetables

Yelp
Fish Tales in Galveston...where do I even start. We just left there with a party of 8. To start, parking was $15 per vehicle so $30 before we stepped inside. Our party was 2 adults and 6 kids ranging from 16 years to 18 months. There was no wait, which was really nice for a large family. Once seated, I had to go back to the host stand to ask for a high chair. Our kids were given their drinks fairly fast while we were given waters since we ordered bar drinks. Once kids drinks were delivered, we ordered an appetizer (shrimp kisses, which were delicious, but $15 for 5 shrimp seems high, but location, so I get it.) We ordered our meals and our appetizer was delivered about 10 minutes later. Still no bar drinks (bottled beer and a sangria swirl) which I asked if they were still coming and they showed up 5 minutes later. Once the food was delivered, the kids drinks stayed empty until another server came by and asked the kids if they wanted refills. She was great, I wish I got her name. I ordered a beer from her too but she wasn't able to order it apparently because she needed our servers card to ring it in. Our server was busy with the table next to us that came in 30+ minutes after us, and hardly checked on us. I ordered the redfish, broiled, topped with the shrimp and crab for an extra $9.99, with rice and fries. Mind you, it was already $31 before the topping. I got a dried out piece of fish that had 2 little shrimp, some butter sauce, and a couple pieces of crumbled crab on it. It was not worth the $40 they charged. The kids menu says upgrade to icee for $2.99 implying kids drinks were less than $2.99. But no, they were $3.75.... Even though on the receipt for my son who got the icee it says "kids drink $0.00...upgrade icee 2.99" I asked about it but was told it was correct, and said it didn't make sense to her either that drinks do not come with kids meals. Before you ask, no, at that point, it wasn't worth bringing it to the attention of a manager, as we're on vacation but trying to feed kids, have a nice meal, and get back to the house. 0/10 won't be back after dropping $250 for dinner.

Yelp
This was my meal and it was tasty. The tilapia and shrimp were fresh and properly cooked. The crab stuffed pablano had a nice spice that cut through the standard seafood flavors, giving this a southwest spin. The black beans were also spicy and paired well with the rice pilaf. Overall, this meal was good and I would order it again. The service was good and attentive. We sat on the patio overlooking Seawall, which was an experience all in itself.

Yelp
Fish tails is a place that I think any and everyone ever going to Galveston should visit. We always talk about the best food and worst food we had on vacation and this year, fish tails was unanimously #1 !! Me and my 4 kids each loved and raved about our meals, delicious margarita as well! Fishtails.. yall rock and thank you for making life even better
google avatar

Yelp
While in Galveston for the Chirstmas holidays, we decided to stop into Fish Tails for dinner! While there, I ordered the espresso martini which was one of the seasonal drinks they offered as well as the Steak-N-Shrimp. The espresso martini wasn't as creamy as some are, but it was still good and I'd order it again. As for the steak, it tasted like scrapings from a charcoal grill which was oppostite of the shrimp which didn't have all that much flavor at all. The vegetables that were served with the meal were great and well seasoned (don't add salt without trying them - they're already at the right level). The restaurant was pretty empty which makes sense for this time of year on the island but services was great and the atmosphere was fun. I also liked that you can sit near the window and have a clear view of Pleasure Pier and it's an even bigger plus for me that they're dog-friendly.

Yelp
food was very blend ,our waitress was great but food was flavorless. Right by the beach but food need more flavor

Yelp
My family and I went to this place while we were in Galveston when we were hungry for some fish tacos or light eats. Unfortunately, the weight was pretty long at about 45 minutes even on a random Sunday afternoon. We did end up sitting down outside on the patio, but it was a bit too breezy that day so we went inside no problems and the manager was really great.the food was just decent. I was expecting a little bit more from a coastal town.

Yelp
Great location across from the Pleasure Pier with a nice view upstairs. Staff was friendly, and the bartender upstairs needs double pay for all the drinks she was creating. I had a painkiller and it was really tasty!! Nice amount of kick too! I only ordered the Shrimp Kisses which were bacon wrapped shrimp and they were also tasty. The onion strings underneath though were a gooey mess of squished greasy things. Definitely skip those. I think I got a bad order though, because other people's didn't look that way. But I was more concerned about the shrimp lol It was about a 30 minute wait if you want upstairs and outside around 7PM. I was trying to get the sunset view, but it's actually behind the restaurant lol Looks like it's also got a nice setup and area for parties or events. I would go back and try something else.

Yelp
I've been here once a year for many summers. We come because we can walk across to the pier. The food is just ok. It is not that good. The kids do enjoy the ice cream bar.
google avatar

Yelp
Dessert review: Came here just for dessert. We ordered the key lime pie and the bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream. The key lime pie's flavor and texture was excellent and the sweetness was just right! The bread pudding was great, and the cinnamon rum sauce took it to the next level. It tastes like the delicious goo under a cinnamon roll. You can choose any of their 24 ice cream flavors for the free scoop that comes with the dessert. I think the cinnamon ice cream was the perfect flavor to go with the pudding! The bread pudding portion felt generous and could easily feed two! Our server, Miranda, was very friendly and cheerful!

Jb H.

Yelp
The food and drinks are awesome! The Triple Boil (?) is the JAM!!! Great staff, cool atmosphere the vibe is on point!! You have to try the Sunset drink... Awesome. Oysters were bomb too!

Yelp
Overpriced tourist food.. drinks were horrible and food was mediocre. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Very inviting place from the outside, as well as the inside! Directly across the street from Galveston Island, historic pleasure pier. The balcony gives you a great view of the gulf, as well as people and cars passing by! We were seated immediately, Mike, was our waiter, did a great job! We ordered the coconut shrimp, a favorite of ours! As is typical, it came with french fries and coleslaw. Everything was right in line with the price, quality, taste, and value. We really enjoyed the service, the atmosphere, and the whole setting! Certainly would return!

Yelp
This is a 3.5 star rating. For a Landry's property I would think it would be better. First, if you want to park in the lot next door you pay $12. Ouch! Food prices are not bad. I had blackened Atlantic salmon and it was great. The veggies were average. I also ordered a Cobb salad and it was great. Then I went to the restrooms. Ouch! Landry's they were disgusting! Even my wife commented that the ladies was bad too! We had an amazing waitress. I love the view from here - it is a noisy intersection!
google avatar

Lea Z.

Yelp
Our server was awesome! It wasn't her fault the restaurant was slammed and obviously been slammed all day. They ran out of chicken, shrimp, limes, seasoned rice, the side vegetables, black beans and mango daiquiri mix. Those were just the items we know of. My daughter ordered fish tacos and two had fish one had fish skin. My wine had soap in it but they quickly fixed that. The gumbo was terrible, plenty of chunks of fish but dreadfully seasoned. The side of rice for it was crunchy but I actually like that. My granddaughter's salmon was very salty. But the catfish was great. Ambiance was great and we would probably go back.
google avatar

Christian P.

Yelp
Food wasn't bad but the service was. Ordered online, showed up at the time I was given and the order hasn't even hit the kitchen. 30 minutes and a beer later it was ready, with little to no words from the staff. I had to check to make sure I didn't accidentally stop at Red Lobster...
google avatar

Angel B.

Yelp
I would have rated this higher if they wouldn't have changed the parking. Used to, you didn't have to pay for parking if you dined here. But now you have to pay for pricey parking AND a fairly pricey meal. The food is very good, I enjoy it. The servers have always been so sweet. The vibes are very touristy if you're into that sort of thing!

Yelp
View is great-right on the beach. Location is perfect across from Pleasure Pier. Food is okay. Dishes are hit and miss. Nothing is horrible but nothing is amazing either. Want a quick bite and not expecting much, come here. Service is fine. Most employees seemed at least happy to be working.

Yelp
Fish tales seafood restaurant located across from the pleasure pier in Galveston Texas offers a high-quality yet casual dining experience. Besides the great views both on the first floor and the deck above the food is fresh, serve promptly and the wait staff is very attentive. Here is a tip:for one price of parking in the pleasure pier parking lot. You can dine at the restaurant, cross the street, enjoy yourself at the pleasure pier then come back and stroll along the beach, and your parking is covered by that one fee.

Yelp
Ate here years ago....never again. Hostess wouldn't listen to where we wanted to sit and we never did get a waitress/waiter. A nice young lady finally asked if anyone had been to us and the wanted to take drink, app, dinner order all at once. She was just trying to help. But pay $15 to park then calamari soggy....we just paid and left never did eat.

Yelp
(May 21,2024) Enjoyed a great lunch on a Tuesday. Jeri took great care of us wrapping up my 59th B-day weekend. She made great recommendations for both food and drinks. She was very friendly. My family from Germany was impressed with the level of service and the quality of food. Thanks for the end of a great B-day.

J.J. W.

Yelp
It was okay. We were a little annoyed that the host sat us right next to the server station, beneath an AC duct that was dripping water, for our 5:30 pm reservation tonight when there were plenty of available tables. (You sit the walk-ins next to the server station!) The food was okay (we both had the Broiled Trio), but not worth $36/plate good. That's essentially Gaido's prices. It also does not have much of an environment. It could have been because we were next to the server station that it felt extremely loud and chaotic, but we were ready to leave nearly instantly.

Russell P.

Yelp
It was the only other option (beside Bubba Sh!t across at the pier. Beer was priced better than the other option Didn't care much for the food. Burger was bland/flavorless for $15. Seafood platter was awful for it's price. A small, flavorless, piece of tilapia (tilapia know for having no flavor but maybe spice it up or something?), the shrimp and two tiny, over breaded, oysters were extremely over salted. Fries- the lions share of the plate, were as limp as Tom Arnold's "D" while he was married to Rosanne. In the end, $76 (with tip) for two plates and two large beers. In a positive note, proximity to the ocean, the wind blowing in, and sounds of the waves make it an arguable place to visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid place for drinks and to people watch on the top floor. Service was good. The floors were so sticky though and the bathrooms need a good scrub.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
This restaurant served me tacos with beans. I requested NO beans. I am allergic. My lip swelled up. I let them know. They refused to even replace my order. They have been telling me for weeks that someone from corporate will be contacting me. To this day, no one has. I keep calling, and they keep telling me that they will give my information to corporate. Why is it s9 difficult to replace two orders of fish tacos ??????????.................................................... ............

Yelp
Our waiter Don was great making us laugh and it was pretty busy for 8 pm but then again first weekend of summer. The seafood Alfredo my son devoured, my youngest son was not a fan of the kids burger. My daughter liked her grilled cheese. My husband had fried shrimp and loved it. I had the shrimp po boy and nothing really wow for me to crave it. Nice place to hang out.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
This restaurant has two things going for it: one the second floor deck overlooking the sea wall. Two they make pretty good drinks at the bar. It's tough to eat oysters and stare out over the gulf and realize that the oysters you're eating are not that fresh. Our mistake could've been being first ones in the restaurant for the day and probably eating leftovers from the night befor. the oysters were void of any oyster liquor and had a bad tooth feel. It's a chain style restaurant versus a classic local establishment. I would stick to appetizers and cocktails and people watching from the second floor. If you're looking for a fun, local seafood experience and keep looking.
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
Service here is excellent! The wait staff were so nice and accommodating. Next time I'm in Galveston I'm coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
We had an impromptu party of 16 and had an amazing experience.. Our wait staff was organized and took very good care of us. We ordered the oysters and they were delicious as well as calamari and the spinach dip for appetizers... the drinks came fairly quickly as well as our food... My husband loved the fish tacos and my friends were happy with all of their entrées...

Yelp
2 star because my kids liked their kid menu items. My food wasn't very good and I didn't eat most of it. Our server was really sweet and I tipped her well still, but service was very slow. She may have been busy downstairs so I am pretty relaxed on servers taking their time but with tired kids waiting 20 min for drinks and then 20 min after we were done to get the check was a little frustrating. However, I would have let all that go - it was that combined with the attitude of the bartender that killed it for me at this place. They had a really long wait (we were here during spring break and on a weekend) Therefore they were seating a lot of table close to closing still since it had been a 1 hour 45 min wait. We were seated near the bar upstairs (also not ideal to sit families with small toddlers at high top tables when you have regular tables available but we made it work). 20 minutes in to being there when we didn't even have our drinks yet and no server. So keep in mind I counted 20 tables upstairs who were waiting to order or eating and however many downstairs, and the bartender starts YELLING at every server who walks by, "LAST CALL!! LAST CALL" She was obnoxious about how she "over making drinks for the night" etc etc. Look, I get it. I worked in the service industry for years and my sister is a bartender/ server still. You get tired, you are ready to go home. But with a large restaurant full of tables who are still ordering/ eating, telling people it is last call is just poor service. I get that it is TECHNICALLY closing time but you also need to have good service for the many tables who waited a LONG time to get their table. That is just part of working at a restaurant during a busy time in my opinion. I didn't want another drink personally but listening to her yell at all the servers about closing was annoying.

Yelp
Location! Location! Location! right across from Pleasure Pier and perfectly perched on the Upstairs Patio to people watch! A very well deserved Spicy Bloody Mary was just what this 'tourist' ordered! The Grilled Mahi Mahi was just right! The Key lime pie was a cool and refreshing end to a wonderful lunch! I'll be back!

Frakita H.

Yelp
Rachel was awesome, she was attentive and nice. I ordered the crawfish and wasn't disappointed. Had to grab some seafood gumbo to go.
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
I would've expected a shrimp dish fresh out of the kitchen to be at least warm when it comes to me...but it was basically a room temp meal. It tasted fine. The mashed potatoes need some work. (Too hard with no butter)
google avatar

Leith G.

Yelp
I'm just gonna shoot you straight on this one, I will not go back. This place was not good. Now, let me say they were extremely busy when we were there. But service was not great, food terrible, and the hostess I don't think knew where she was. We had to speak to multiple people to get seated. Once seated, the food was a let down too. The presentation was good but the taste was not. We did not enjoy the shrimp or crab balls. The shrimp kisses appetizer was very good though I will admit. But that was the only good part of the experience. Overall it was a terrible dining experience.

Kelsey M.

Yelp
This place is horrible. The fried pickles are soggy. Spinach dip is under seasoned and bland. Fried catfish was not catfish- it was tilapia and tasted like dirt water. The fried shrimp is underwhelming. The best thing we had was the tap water. Over $100 for our ticket and unfortunately a waste.

Yelp
Our last lunch in Galveston was at this spot right across from Pleasure Pier! My bf got the Broiled Trio, which was with shrimp, salmon, crab cake, lump crab sautéed with lemon butter, rice pilaf, and sautéed veggies. This was very yummy and was a great way to get a variety of options. I got the Blackened Shrimp, which comes with rice pilaf and veggies. This was a great and light lunch/first meal of the day to get started with. The shrimp was flavorful and went well with the rice and yummy veggies. We also had some cocktails while we waited to be seated hehe. My bf got the Caribbean Swirl and I got the Pina Colada. The drinks were refreshing for a hot day in the sun!
google avatar

Heidi S.

Yelp
We figured this would be a touristy spot and it pretty much was. With that being said, it was good! It's located directly across the street from Pleasure pier. We were told that the wait would be very long, but not even 5 minutes later we were called and led to a window seat with perfect views of the ocean and pier. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp & they were great! The waitress even brought us chips & salsa for free even though we didn't see them on any other table, it was a nice treat. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit Galveston.

Yelp
"Cam" possibility Camron was a great waiter made my experience excellent! Would definitely recommend him if you went. -Nate

Yelp
Another great time at Fish Tales. I gave 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. Fantastic service! Our server was so pleasant and personable. We showed each other pictures of our furbabies and had great "get to know you" conversations. 2. The food was yummy (see pic). And there was a lot of it! 3. Reasonable prices for a Landry's restaurant. We used our $25 birthday coupon (join the Landry's club to get perks). 4. Fast service. For a Friday evening we were able to get right in with no reservations. Yes, we'll be back!
google avatar

Jenn V.

Yelp
We are long time members of Landry's but this was our first time here at Fish Tales. The food was great! We weren't expecting such flavor, most of the "Cajun" restaurants outside of Louisiana are lacking. The service was great, and it felt very coastal. Will return!
google avatar

Roel Kristy V.

Yelp
Rainy and foggy on a Sunday afternoon, so we needed some great food and we found it here! Yummy Pain Killer cocktail, cold beer and gulf shrimp. Every bite was delicious. Nice surprise was this is a Landrys group restaurant so we were able to use our reward points to pay for part of our meal. Big restaurant with indoor and outdoor deck seating. I didn't rate 5 star due to the servers. We were fortunate to get a good one but the vibe was off with several of them. At one point I went to the restroom and was witness to a total meltdown by one of them. She was in the restroom stall on the phone and sobbing and talking loudly about how much ass she was busting and no one else was...she was not appreciated....no one cares, etc. It was really off putting. The other bummer was that we ordered a to-go fish n chips plate which comes with Cole slaw and fries. The cole slaw was missing and there was no tartar or cocktail sauce included and no utensils.

Jocelyn F.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place and it started just fine, got seated (sadly in a location where my seat kept getting hit by the workers with the rolling carts). The calamari was really tasty and my kids loved it. But now, the entrees... so my kid eats almost everything you put in front of her especially after playing at the beach, but this was the FIRST time ever she took 1 bite of her burger and ate only the fries. Then my Honey's pasta came out, and again very disappointed, but this time with the portion size, (it sounded like the pasta he loved at the Houston Downtown aquarium) so he ordered it and with the tag of $27 but just didnt equal up, so he ended up eating my kids dry burger just to satisfy his hunger AND make me feel like we got our money's worth. My teen had the grilled chicken, and lets just say for $21, she wished she had just gotten chick-fil-a sandwich across the street instead. As for my oyster po boy, sadly, the oysters were soggy when they came out and looked like they had been cooked in old oil. To sum it up, the location was great, ambiance was very nice, service was good, but this is a message to the cook staff, shame on you guys (lol jk)... 1 grab of pasta with tongs is not worth $27 guys, perhaps even just a small piece of lettuce for the kids burger would make it look more appetizing and please change the fry oil..

Yelp
The food was ok and the waitress was really nice but the hostesses were so rude it felt like they didn't wanna be there.

Yelp
We went to Fish Tales on the tail end of the dinner rush, 6:30ish on Saturday 2/4. We entered the restaurant and saw a manager, later we found out his name was John, running the host stand with four workers standing there. John said we could be sat immediately outside on the porch or we it would be a 40 minute wait for a table. We took the obvious option to sit outside immediately. John barked at one of the workers at the host stand to take us outside upstairs. We were seated at a table on the porch, there were three or four other tables sat on the porch at the time. Two waitresses came and went to their respective tables and we were not helped. After sitting for 20 minutes we collected our menus and walked back inside. While walking down the stairs, we ran into John, he didn't acknowledge us; instead we told him we hadn't been helped and sat there for 20 minutes. He directed us to follow him and he would make sure someone helped us immediately. We told him we didn't want to sit outside any longer and wanted to sit inside to ensure our service was good. John barked at us that we'd have to check in at the host stand and get put back on the list. We went to check in and told again it would be 40 minutes. We found a bar top seat in the bar area. The wait wasn't awful but there was a patron at the bar who was well beyond his limit and should have been cutoff several drinks prior, he was yelling while talking at people next to him and several people cleared out of the bar to avoid him. The wait was a solid 40 minutes. When we were sat at a table, our waitress, Wendy (who was AMAZING), got quadruple sat. Wendy was amazing. She provided prompt, excellent, over the top service. She was extremely apologetic for what had happened to us. We ordered off the restaurant week menu. Both appetizers (not pictured) arrived cold. The entrees arrived 5 minutes afterwards and were excellent. Wendy upgraded our desert for our trouble and our ice cream was excellent. Another troubling issue during our meal was on several occasions, more then two, we witnessed John (the manager) walk through the dining area and do nothing but bark orders at staff. One instance of this was as simple as getting water to refill a cup on a table...instead of quietly doing it himself it turned into a production when he turned around and demanded the closest waiter/waitress take care of it immediately. To the staff: Keep up the good work! Bad management will work itself out and adapt or leave. Y'all were amazing! Don't get down on yourselves.

Yelp
Wife and I dropped in for lunch. We love sitting upstairs on the balcony taking in the breeze. Normally the food and service are spot on. Today was different. The service was slow and the food was average. And to make matters worse, their was hair in my food. The manager was apologetic and I received a new plate.

Yelp
Visiting the area and we were really craving blackened seafood! We got just that here! I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi, my boyfriend had Blackened Red Snapper. WOW was it fantastic. Amazing flavor and a perfect portion! We also read online that the Shrimp Kisses appetizer was good. But actually it was GREAT! 10/10 recommend the food here and we had even better service! Very friendly wait staff and quick service! Thank you for an awesome experience!

Yelp
Really enjoyed our lunch. We had a table upstairs with great views of the ocean and Pleasure Pier. You do have to pay to park at Pleasure Pier parking, but they gave us all day parking for $10, so it is nice to maybe plan to start with lunch here and then head to the pier across the street. I do highly recommend reservations if you think it will be busy. We made reservations the morning we planned to visit and were seated within ten minutes of our arrival. People that were walking in were faced with an hour and 40 minute wait! It is very easy to make a reservation online so do that if you want to not have to be faces with a long wait. We stared our meal with some drinks , beers and spinach artichoke dip. My Bloody Mary was very very good! We also had the fried shrimp, the fried flounder sandwich, some orders of hush puppies that were very good and served with a nice remoulade sauce, gumbo , crab and shrimp fettuccine, fish tacos and ended the meal with bread pudding. Our server was a very sweet young lady that was a little nervous as it was her very first day. She did a great job and we left her a very generous tip we hope she enjoyed. Overall, it was a great lunch, enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere and the reservations made the day so again...please please make reservations if you think it will be busy.

Yelp
While we waited for our table outside, we were going to order an Icee to drink. They have a window that looks like you could order from outside the restaurant but don't try it. The girl waved at us to go inside and looked at us like we were dumb. For a restaurant with fish in their name, the fried fish was just ok, nothing remarkable. The fried shrimp was good and so were the French fries. The waiter just dumped the plates on the table and left, didn't ask if we wanted anything else and never came back to check on us. It was cold inside the restaurant. Bring a sweater.
