"Fish With You is a Chinese chain with over 2,000 locations worldwide, including one in Rowland Heights. Now they have one in Koreatown, too. The Sichuan restaurant specializes in suan cai yu, a sauerkraut white fish stew loaded with tingly peppercorns. Choose your fish (basa or snakehead), customize the broth, and add in extras like sweet potato noodles, tofu, or baby cabbage." - cathy park

Amazing food if you are looking for some Chinese authentic spicy and numb dishes. Strongly recommend the green peppercorn fish and also pickled pepper from leg. The service is good with good dining environment. Will always come back when visiting Las Vegas!

I love fish so this place a total hit with me! The staff is awesome. I believe the owner himself was there to take care of us. The food is the kind that feels light in your stomach after you eat. Try the wide glass noodles! Brilliant!

If I could give this place 5 stars more than once, I would!! Such a pleasant surprise. I've never had Chinese fish soup before, and if you haven't either, please give it a chance because it's so good! There's plenty of seating to choose from, and the tables are large and well-spaced. The tables have QR codes that make ordering SUPER easy and simple. I love that you don't have to pay right away, so if you want to order more (like we did), you just add to the tab on your phone. We ordered: Royal Tomato Fish with tofu and wide noodles Tangy Lemon Fish with Taiwanese lettuce and wide noodle Coconut lava ball Crispy pork Thai tea And a double portion of Tangy lemon fish to-go for my parents, because it was THAT good! Both fish soup flavors were SOOO tasty and refreshing. The tomato soup had thick slices of tender and juicy tomatoes (that were so delicious). They really load the soup with lots of fish and toppings too. The lemon fish soup had chiles on top, which weren't spicy at all, just gave a great flavor burst that went great with the tang of the lemons. The crispy pork was exactly what I was hoping for as an appetizer, and the spice powder it came with was perfectly balanced, not too spicy at all! Overall, they have great portions, quality, service, and attention to detail. I love how they not only put your soup into the to-go container for you, but they also make sure it won't spill by seran wrapping the edges of the container. Their to-go bag is cute AND sturdy, plus they stapled it shut which really helped the bowl stay steady in the car ride home. Not a single bad thing to say about Fish With You. I will 1000% be back and telling all my friends about this place.

This Chinese restaurant opened less than 3 weeks ago and passed by and decided to try their food. I got the Spicy oil mix, it was lots of ingredients with fantastic price! Under $16! Great taste as well! If you like fish, try their Top 4 here! Watch my YouTube channel @ytbossbae for the full experience!

Although I was hesitant to eat here because I’m not familiar with this specific type of Chinese cuisine, I’m so glad I did. The laotan fish soup was delicious; like a complex multilayered burst of flavors in your mouth with every sip of the soup. It was spicy, but not too spicy where I can’t handle it. We also got to try the salt and pepper pork which was one of the best I have ever had. Their dipping mix of spices was really good. For dessert, we got the coconut balls and the brown sugar rice cakes. Both were really good as well. I never thought I would say this, but I want to come back to Fish With You again and again. Can’t forget to mention the service; the gentleman who took care of us was super attentive and took excellent care of us. He answered all our questions and explained the ordering process to us right from the get go. It is super clean in the restaurant too. The attention to detail is uncanny. There was a piece of trash (chopstick wrapper) that fell on the floor from our table and it was picked up not a second later.

Google
Amazing amazing lunch here at Fish With You. The inside of the restaurant was spotless and decorated so nice. The food here was amazing. The portion size of the soup for two can probably feed four people. We ordered the crispy pork, Taiwanese sausage, classic aromatic spicy suancai and fish with glass noodles and extra enoki mushrooms, and two thai teas. The szechuan peppers in the soup had our mouths tingling and the flavor profile was completely different than any other soup we’ve had. It was delicious. The Taiwanese sausage was surprisingly sweet but also was super tasty. The crispy pork and thai teas were yummy as well. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter came and checked on us several times and always made sure we had enough water, napkins, and rice. We will definitely be back to try the lemon fish soup!!

Google
Had the spicy boiled beef here and it was excellent! The flavor was rich, the beef was tender, and the spice level had that perfect numbing kick that hits just right without being overwhelming. Great spot if you’re into Sichuan-style dishes. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

If you're craving Suan Cai Yu (Sichuan Fish with Pickled Vegetables) this is the spot to go to! I got the signature and green pepper and liked the signature slightly more since it felt like there was more depth of flavor but both were delicious. The fish skin appetizer was also surprisingly good but it might be a 3-4 people appetizer depending how much of a fan you are of it. Ambiance is very nice, the inside is very bright and there were some jams playing when we dined there!

Yelp
We ordered the Laotan Suancai Fish and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the fish was fresh and tender. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Definitely recommend!!!!

Yelp
Heard good things about this relatively new restaurant and decided to give it a try. The decor is modern, simple, and chic. For the two of us we ordered a Grilled Giant Squid Skewer and a Classic Spicy Fish for 2 with Snakehead (with 3 side dishes: tofu, wood ear fungus, and wide glass noodles). It also came with free rice. The Grilled Giant Squid Skewer was as good as advertised, perfectly grilled and really tender and delicious. The Classic Spicy Fish came with a really generous amount of fresh, tasty fish. The side dishes also complimented it very nicely. The soup was extremely flavorful and spicy. We had leftovers to bring home! Service was excellent, the owner came over and chatted with us and explained to us about the restaurant chain and the special sauerkraut. Food was excellent; prices were great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like fish.

Yelp
Craving bold flavors and something totally different in Vegas? Fish with You just delivered the ultimate comfort dish: Sauerkraut Fish--a perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory. With over 2,500 locations worldwide, this spot knows how to do it right--fresh fish, tangy pickled cabbage, and a broth that hits all the right notes. Whether you're new to this dish or a longtime fan, this place is a must-try. Now in Las Vegas--yes, finally! If you're into unique flavors and want something beyond the usual, don't sleep on this. Would you try sauerkraut fish?

Yelp
I had initially heard about Fish with You from a friend when she had found a location in Rowland Heights. The menu had sounded really good as it had a lot of aspects that I liked. Fast forward a bit and realized one had opened in Las Vegas ! Fish with You specializes in a style called "suan cai yu" aka sour veggie fish or saurkraut fish. Quite similar to a "shui zhu yu" aka water boiled fish but in this variation, it has the pickled veggies. Menu's are available via QR code (chowbus) at the corner of your table. Ordering is still in person so you can ask a waiter/waitress to come by to take your order. So far i've been here twice and was able to try 4 different things. A lot of their stuff is listed as 1 or 2 people serving, so order accordingly. Portion size is actually fairly decent. Actually matches the number of people decently well (even for someone who eats a decent amount like me) All? dishes come with rice. We've never ordered more than a bowl of rice so unsure if it's limited to 1 or you can get more. SIGNATURE SUAN CAI & FISH 招牌热炝酸菜鱼 (2 people serving) - this is their SIGNATURE dish therefore no modifications. This is probably my FAVORITE dish so far, out of the few i've tried. This one comes with SNAKEHEAD/BLACK fish (the name varies per dish but same fish). This fish DOES come with a bit of skin on every piece of fish, so if you don't like skin, then here's your FYI. VERY flavorful. Not too spicy, good for people who can handle a little amount of spice. GOOD amount suan/sour flavor. DONT be intimidated by the amount of dried chili's in here (not edible, to me anyway, so pick them out). SUPER ANGUYS BEEF (1 person serving - 金汤肥牛 golden soup) - you have a choice between 3 different "flavors" (golden soup, tomato, or lao tan). We had picked golden soup. This dish uses sliced beef like you'd get in hot pot/shabu shabu. Unfortunately, since they cook everything in "1 pot", the beef gets overcooked. Lots of dry soy skin (looks like noodles, not the dry bean curd), enoki mushrooms, celtuce (the stalk of A-choy). Flavor is good overall but star of the dish is overcooked, so tough. LAOTAN SUANCAI & FISH 老坛酸菜鱼 (2 people serving) - unlike the signature, you have a choice between basa or snakehead fish. We chose snakehead fish (additional $3) for this one. Also unlike the previous 2, you get an option of 4 "sides" (2 person serving gets 4, 1 person serving gets 2) but the options are dry soy skin, enoki mushroom, taiwanese lettuce, tofu, celtuce, black fungus, wide glass noodle, and vermicelli. We picked dry soy skin, taiwanese lettuce (a-choy), tofu, and black fungus). The fish itself is still good. Lots of hidden "bombs" aka sichuan peppercorns. Less of an "impression" compared to their signature, like the flavor is lighter, so maybe if its your first time having this type of dish, this is the one to order to try first? ROYAL TOMATO FISH 公举番茄鱼 (1 person serving) - since we ordered snakehead fish on the previous dish, we got basa (a type of swai) fish on this one to try and compare the difference. Basa fish is like your typical fish filet you see in most hot pot places. No skin attached. Snakehead/black fish is an additional $2. The flavoring of this dish is VERY reminescent of the childhood favorite tomato egg stir fry, just without the egg. I'd almost say the tomato aspect tastes exactly like it. Not bad of a dish. Good for those who want fish but can't handle/don't like spiciness, or even children. We opt'ed for taiwanese lettuce and tofu on this one (2 options for sides since it was a 1 person serving) Very tasty overall. Most of the stuff is good but some just stand out more. Another friend and I are looking forward to coming here to try the TRIPLE DELIGHT IN CHILI OIL 毛血旺, a dish typically maining duck blood but with other organs like intestine, etc as well ! heard it's quite spicy tho ! Service is good. Seemingly always one person standing by somewhere. Decently fluent in english but definitely mandarin chinese. Hopefully they'll last a long time as the previous restaurants in this location has not. Only downside being located in Shanghai Plaza, their parking will be a huge factor depending on time you come.

Yelp
Tried Fish With You for the first time and had a really great experience! It's a Chinese soup place that totally hit the spot on a Sunday evening. The vibe was calm and efficient. The service was friendly and efficient, and the place itself was very clean and spacious, which I really appreciated. I had one of their lemon broths and tomato broths, and it was flavorful and comforting. Portion size was generous--definitely felt like a full, satisfying meal. One fun perk I learned: they offer unlimited rice! That really would've spoken to me back in my pre-carb-conscious days. Still, it's a nice touch for those with hearty appetites. All in all, a solid spot for a delicious and low-key meal. I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
The first time I had First With You was actually just last month at their Rowland Heights location and I loved it! When I saw that they opened in Vegas, I was so ecstatic! Fish With You specializes in a dish called suan cai yu, which translates to "sour vegetable fish." It's essentially boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chili and it originated in Sichaun. If you're not a fan of fish, no worries! Fish With You also has them with beef and crispy pork. My husband and I decided to come here for a late lunch this past Sunday. There was only one other table in the restaurant. First, you scan a QR code to look at the menu and once you know what you like, you order with the server. Normally you can order through your phone but they turned that function off while they are offering their soft opening discount (12% off). I assume once they stop offering the discount, then you can order through the phone again. We decided to get their Laotan Suan Cai and Fish for two people. For this, we can choose between their basa fish or snakehead fish (+$3) as well was four sides. The sides that you can choose include: tofu skin, enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tofu, vermicelli (was actually wide potato noodles), black fungus (aka wood ear mushroom), and lettuce stems. We got ours with basa fish (because snakehead fish still has skin attached), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tofu, and vermicelli. The dish also comes with two bowls of rice. If the structure of the menu is the same, then the rice should be unlimited. If you get the dish for 1 person, then you only get 2 sides and 1 bowl of rice while the dish for 2 people gets 4 sides and 2 bowls of rice. Also according to the server at their Rowland Heights location, their Signature Suan cai & Fish is very similar to the Laotan Suan cai & Fish taste wise. The Signature one is set meaning you can't change anything to it. It only comes with Snakefish and the sides are already decided too (I can't remember which ones you get). Food came out in about 10-15 minutes so the wait wasn't long. The flavor is similar to the Rowland Heights location. The prices are higher than the prices in Rowland Heights but I guess that's pretty normal for the Asian restaurants now. Even so, the pricing for their specialized dish is extremely competitive with what we have in the valley (vs other restaurants that serve the same dish). Service was good. Their to-go packaging is actually pretty high quality and done with care. I just wished they gave more soup with the dish ahaha. I loved having it with rice! Overall, love it. I will definitely be back for more!!

Yelp
My friend and I tried this place for dinner on Friday and it was just perfect. Im pretty sure this place is gonna be my one of my go-to restaurants. We really loved it. We ordered the signature Suan cai& fish and crispy pork. The portion of the Suan cai fish was generous, and it came with rice. The fish was very tender, and the seasoning was just right, slightly numbing but not spicy at all I would say. It was really good tho. For the crispy pork, it was amazing. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I absolutely loved it. The portion was also larger than I expected. Servers were friendly and the ambiance was clean as well!

Yelp
Hey Yelpers! This restaurant has a great vibe. It's got a great color scheme and music playing. They have to-go ordering at the front or QR codes at the tables. The seating has padded benches against the walls and these cool padded seats that may look uncomfortable but a really not. I'm a big guy and they were fine. The service was excellent. Being our first time here, we had questions and they had answers. They are very nice and got whatever we needed quickly. There are varying levels of spice in the entrees, marked by a chili pepper scale. We are not much for heat, so we went with the tangy lemon fish for two. OMG!!! It was amazing! The broth has the tangy from the lemon without the sour bite. Somehow it has a little bit of a spicy kick at the end. Not bad at all, but noticeable. We loved it. The fish was deliciously flaky. You get to add up to four add-ins, so we went with the tofu, enoiki mushrooms, celtuce, and wide glass noodles. It was one of the best things I have eaten in a while. The flavors worked together so well. And the serving size??? Holy mackerel! The 2 person serving is big enough for 3-4 people. We didn't get close to finishing. We also tried the spicy squid skewer (worth trying), crispy milk roll, and coconut lava balls (both would be great as a dessert). Needless to say, I would love to bring people here to have them try something new. Come give them a try!!!

Yelp
Came back again for fish , it was good every time . I don't usually write reviews, but this experience truly deserves one. From the moment we arrived, everything felt personal and unforgettable. Whether you're an experienced angler or just out for a peaceful day on the water, this place knows how to make you feel like it's not just about fishing--it's about the moment.

Yelp
Got to try this new restaurant located in Shanghai plaza in Las Vegas. It is very spacious and clean, and the staff was very welcoming. They serve mainly fish noodle soup dishes but you can get a beef noodle dish as well and various side desserts. We tried 4 different noodle soup and we got to choose the type noodles so we tried the glass noodle, wavy noodle, vermicelli. They were all so flavorful and the noodles have the perfect texture. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and aromatic in 3 if the noodle dishes we ordered. For the soup base, although they all tasty great, my favorite was the tangy lemon fish soup. It was so refreshing and not overly sour. If you are hungry and craving some delicous fish noodle soup, you definitely got to give this place a try!

Yelp
Loved the golden soup and the angus beef tomato soup! The flavor was really bold and appetizing. Service is good and interior is cute (modern retro). Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great food, service and ambiance. Good option for food with clean environment. Staffs are friendly, good try.

Yelp
Although it's in the dreaded Shanghai plaza, I still come here regularly for the sour tangy lemon fish soup and their sauerkraut fish soup. The tomato fish soup is also good but I feel like I can scratch that itch from other places around Vegas, but I haven't found anything like their sour lemon fish soup. The service has been great since their soft opening and their self ordering system is super convenient. Will definitely be coming back
google avatar

Cody C.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying this place, but the ordering process was so complicated it completely turned me off. It took the waiter about 10 minutes just to explain what's included in the order. Instead, you're expected to pick 3 items from one section, 2 from another--it's just too many decisions, and I was worried I'd end up with a bad combo and ruin the meal. Considering the prices aren't cheap, I didn't want to risk it, so I got up and left. Hopefully someone from the corporate reads this and rethinks the ordering process. It shouldn't be this stressful to grab a meal. Also, no paper menus--just a QR code. Come on, we're past COVID. Not everyone wants to order from their phone.
google avatar

Mackenzie M.

Yelp
This place is great. My husband and I ordered the Signature Hot Oil Sauerkraut Fish extra spicy, the squid, and Taiwanese Sausage. The soup was really delicious all of the flavors blended well together and was big enough for the both of us to share. The squid I wasn't a real big fan of but my husband liked it, and the sausage was pretty good. If you're looking to for authentic Chinese soup this a great place to try.
google avatar

Cheryl C.

Yelp
Went there during the soft opening , it's a very clean bright color place . Menu is easy to understand . We tried the signature fish for 2 , portion was good , very tasty . I guess because it is still soft opening phase , sometimes we had to flag server but other than that it's good.

Yelp
Good Nice Very nice I'm so like ! Amazing! Im so so so so like Delicious Delicious Delicious!

Yelp
Really good, definitely recommend checking out if you like Chinese spicy fish dishes. We got the signature and the suan cai. Both were very tasty. We really enjoyed our dishes. The staff don't speak fluent English, but it was fine. The only thing I kinda didn't like was that they gave us one bowl of rice to share despite us ordering two separate dishes. The menu was almost entirely in Chinese so it wasn't clear to us what was included.
google avatar

Shannon Z.

Yelp
Wow!! This was actually my first time trying Chinese Sauerkraut fish. We ordered their popular signature dish and tomato dish. Both were so delicious and fish was tender!!! It felt healthy eating this - came with some veggies and vermicelli noodles and two bowls of rice. The tomato base was a thicker super tomato flavor. Our favorite was the signature fish which had a perfect amount of spice and sour!! Good came out quickly, and no wait on a weekday during lunch. Loved it and can't wait to try the lemon flavor next!

Yelp
We first learnt about Fish With You in Diamond Bar, CA. We heard some good reviews, unfortunately we didn't get to try last time. It was great to see Fish With You in LV! We ordered to-go to bring it back to hotel. Service was fast, staffs were friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered double orders of signature Suancai & fish, and double orders of Laotan Suancai & fish. Signature Suancai & fish has a lot of dry chilies, but not too spicy. Strong flavors but filets were little tough. Double ordered comes with pretty good portions of fish and two rices.
google avatar

Yelp
The signature fish soup and beef soup (Golden soup option) are absolutely delicious. I also ordered the pork nuggets, the crispy milk rolls and the coconut balls. I am not a coconut fan, but the coconut balls are a must have. The deep friend mochi exterior paired with the sweet filling is something I will dream about in the future. The customer service is also on point. The servers were attentive and the to-go packaging is functional and pretty.

Yelp
A fun new concept in Chinatown! The authentic sauerkraut fish dish features your choice of broth, toppings, and fish. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is friendly. They understand is a foreign concept for a lot of people and are happy to help you order. Their menu is on a QR code but you can ask for a regular menu if it's easier for you. The fish cake is a must in your soup!
google avatar

Yelp
Second time in one week! I tried the signature hot-oil sauerkraut fish bowl and I'm so happy this place exists. I have eaten Szechuan before and I enjoy the numbing spice. I didn't know this was a big chain and when I learned that it sort of made me feel like Fish With You has done for Szechuan what chipotle had done to Mexican burritos. Cleaner, more fusion, great (and safer) flavors. However, this is a little higher price point and I think the quality of our dish reflected that. The idea of sauerkraut in soup was hard to wrap my head around. But trust the process and try it. The flavors work. Servers were all super kind and attentive. Come and enjoy!

Yelp
New restaurant on Shanghai Plaza on Spring mountain Rd. Delicious green peppercorn fish comes with white rice. Options to choose regular or larger portion size. Being coming here many times already Awesome service. Relaxing environment nice and clean. Still on soft opening right now.

Yelp
New spot in town! Caught our attention because of the funny/unique restaurant name.... so.. ordering process is confusing. It was not explained properly to us and in the end we end up paying $18 more just for tofu, wood mushrooms x 2, vegetables x 2 and vermicelli. It's $3 for each "extra" side dish that we thought was included in the price of $19.95. It's tasty and good portion but we were not exactly thrilled to pay $18 more on small side dishes. We ordered the grilled squid and it was delicious and the glutinous brown sugar mochi was delicious. The total bill was $86 for 2 people before tax and tips. Perhaps the ordering process could've been explained better. Restaurant is clean and bright. Give it a try but beware of extra cost if you did not order correctly.

Yelp
New restaurant in a busy plaza! Very cute from the outside, good, legible signage Very clean inside, you can tell it's brand new and they take lots of pride in keeping it that way. The menu is on a QR code, you also order on your phone. It was easy to see the menu and order what we wanted. The photos were very helpful !! The food was tasty. We especially loved the little appetizers. They were dessert-like but so fresh and tasty. We did also order 2 rice bowls as well!

Came back again for father's day special to try thr golden soup fish, golden soup beef and signature soup fish. They updated their vip card service to have physical cards, if you come a lot, pretty good deal to charge up some money and get some additional credits.

Yelp
Invite your customers in to sit, don't stare at them while eating. And change those bowls soup spilled all over my lap before I could even taste it sucked!

Yelp
Was looking for a good northern china experience and was happy to happen across this pace. Everything we tried was very tasty and flavorful.

Yelp
Customer service was so great. Takes me back to China with how polite and helpful everyone is here. 5/5. We got the Tangy Lemon Fish which had a very slight kick because of the pepper. Superrrr good. If you have a really low tolerance for spicy then, I would recommend this if you still want a little kick. We got this with the black skin fish, which was really good. No bones, they take it out for us. We got a second flavor which was the Royal tomato fish, which was what I expected it to be. Tomato flavor. We did basa fish as well. One thing I did wish was slightly better was if the fish could be bigger cuts instead of smaller cuts somehow. Veggies were great in the soups, we got Napa cabbage, enoki mushrooms and black fungus. Overall, I would definitely come back 5/5. Hope this place opens with later hours because this would give off great vibes for a midnight meal (: - similar to how it would be in China almost.
