Not much different than what you’d expect out of a typical American bar except this one serves New Orleans cuisine. When the warm bread hit the table I was excited. Then after I took a bite, I was less excited. BUT when tried my second bite dipped in that garlic butter, that changed everything!! It went from ok to great! The butter flavor was a pleasant surprise that I was not expecting. I didn’t foresee me cleaning out the bread basket before my food arrived, but that’s what happened. I ordered the seafood gumbo to start — this did disappoint. Had this dish been better, I would have given this place 5 stars. It was a giant bowl of rice with some shrimp on top. Please see photos — pictured is how the bowl was presented and what was left after I ate all the shrimp and a little rice. The winner winner for the evening was the crabbed stuffed shrimp which I had to take to-go because I was stuffed from the bread. Unfortunately I don’t have the best pic of the crabbed stuffed shrimp because I took a bite and couldn’t stop biting lol Thus, there are the remnants of what was…just know that it was DELICIOUS!! The accompanying roasted potatoes were great as well, and the vegetables weren’t bad at all. Overall, Fishbones is worth a try!
