Visited Fisher Pavilion for the first time at the 20th annual Pumpkin Beer festival and had an awesome time. The grounds were easy to understand and get around in, beers were tasty, and the staff were solid. Would definitely do another event here.

Google
Scooped was great! Loved the seating, tents, and games available to play. It was fun tasting all the various flavors. More water was needed at the hand washing stations and making the entrance more obvious would have been nice.

Google
a great place for any exhibition with all the necessary services controlled air conditioning and a great location throughout the city of Seattle is perfect for activities when the outside weather does not allow it as it has a large area for small and large events

Google
This is an area in the Seattle Center. The exhibition was Awesome Exhibition Lego Professional. There is an elevator to get downstairs where the show floor is. The bathrooms were clean.

Cliff Meyer

Google
Great all-purpose space for 500-person sit-down events (and much more). Lots of (paid) parking nearby

Google
It's ok. What is amazing are the four levels of 4x8 flooring to make a huge dance floor for Folklife...

Sensebellum

Google
The Fisher Pavilion is a perfect venue for organize large scale art installations - especially at classic events such as the famous, "Bumbershoot Music Festival". In 2014 Sensebellum was honored to be part of the action with a trio of the "Sandbox of Life" interactive art installations as curated by Interstitial Theater. It was such a sight to see the venue filled with patrons eager to explore the worlds of interactive art. Thank you again to the excellent team at Interstitial Theater and Bumbershoot!

Yelp
There's so much more going on here at the Seattle Center than I ever imagined! Previously known to me only as the location of the Space Needle and the MoPop museum (formerly the Experience Music Project), the center also encompasses the Seattle Children's Museum, Chihuly Glass Garden, Pacific Science Center, Climate Change Arena, Seattle Armory, Seattle Exhibition Hall, multiple theaters and (including McCaw Hall, where ballet and opera performances are held), several parks, a fantastic (and free!) outdoor playground, a truly massive fountain, a meditation garden, a large outdoor sports stadium (perhaps more than one?), at least a dozen restaurants scattered about, and likely a lot more locations and features than our afternoon walkthrough could discover in a single trip. Despite having visited Seattle probably more than 50 times over the course of my life, I couldn't even begin to speculate how many special or annual events are held here. I know the Bite of Seattle and Bumbershoot music festival are two of them, but I am sure that just about every flavor of art, music or culture festival finds its way here throughout the year. Just this last weekend, there was a festival celebrating Mexican independence in the Fisher Pavilion and the stage in the Armory, while a seemingly endless line of tricked-out off-road vehicles bearing Mexican flags and blasting Hispanic music roared down Broad Street towards Pike Place. It was pretty wild! The Seattle Center feels like the artistic, cultural and social heart of this marvelous metropolis, and with good reason. I have never encountered such a dense conglomeration of venues dedicated to the promulgation of community education, entertainment and enrichment anywhere else in the world! When it was designed and built to host the World's Fair in 1962, the plan was for the Seattle Center to exist for "public use forever", and six decades later, there seems to be no sign of slowing its forward momentum.

Yelp
The Seattle Center is such a great spot to come with friends, family and pups! They have a nice fountain surrounded by grass which families tend to hang around and let the kids play in the water on warm days. I enjoyed bringing my pup here! It's dog friendly outside. There is access to bathrooms which are nicely maintained. The Seattle armory and outside plaza often have events! The Space Needle and Glass Museum are also a short walk away (to enter they cost extra) Love the views and the atmosphere here and would highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
This large area has a layout of a multifunctional park. It got many cultural and educational buildings, there's the international fountain and then of course also the space needle

Yelp
We spent a lot of time in the Seattle Center, Armory, and area. We were there several time during our trip and took the monorail to and from Westlake Center (downtown) to the Seattle Center. It was home to the Seattle PrideFest and was active before and after. Space needle is located here as well as the MoPOP (Museum of Pop Culture). There are nice public restrooms located in the back of the armory if you are looking for any in the area. Recommend visiting the Seattle Center and definitely an active and good place to check out.

Yelp
My family and I frequent the Seattle Center on a regular basis throughout the year for community events like attending Paw Patrol in the spring, Scooped in the summer, and most recently the Christmas Market and Winterfest. Although this area is surrounded by iconic attractions tourists flock too, there are also so many family welcoming events held for locals to enjoy. I really appreciate how attentive and courteous the staff are, they are constantly checking in with families when passing, ensuring the grounds are clean, and safe for all visitors. The public restrooms within the enclosed area are extremely well kept, clean, and monitored. There is onsite paid parking, and additional parking lots (*if you're visiting* never leave ANYTHING in your car most of the parking lots in Seattle are not monitored.) I highly recommend following the Seattle Center social media pages to keep with the rotating events held throughout the year!

Yelp
Beyond fabulous! Oh, my what a place to come and spend a day with so much to see and do. The winter train and village set up will fascinate old and young alike for hours. Lots of little restaurants and free Wi-Fi..
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, thought it would be full of homeless drug addicts but I was super wrong. Despite the news and social media we were pleasantly surprised. Clean, not crazy crowded and only a few people that need a mental /drug evaluation. Yea, Yea, Space needle; the real jewel is next door. MoPop museum. Modern pop culture, kids and adults will love it. You'll see Darth Vader costume, Kirk Cobain's set list, an ender Dragon and a Vince Lambardy trophy. Monorail toward fish market, street vendors, nice little green park and a huge kids rope climb/slides playground. Go here first if you're in town.

Yelp
Seattle Center. Site of the 1962 World Exhibition and home to the Landmarked Space Needle. It's unofficial tagline is Everything is here to experience Seattle. I can see that. So much is crammed into this area and nearby. You have Nice walkable streets, Climate Pledge Arena, McCaw Hall, Pacific Science Center, Museum of Modern Pop (MOPOP), Seattle Center Armory and much more. Seattle Center is said to reside on Indigenous land and the traditional territories Salish people. Acknowledgement of this should reminds us to try and be respectful with all people, in the search for collective healing. It really is a nice civic center for tourists and locals alike to see a multitude of attractions and or events in a relatively small area without having to move about too much. Getting there is fairly easy as it is pretty much in the center of the City. A good way to spend a few hours or more for attractions, check out Seattle Center.

Yelp
Came here for new years only one way in and out. Thousand of people. So stupid what if there was an emergency.

Yelp
Seattle Center is so nice on every season of the year. Fountain is always on. You can watch it and enjoy it's music. On summer you can get in and make a picnic around it. On one side you will find restrooms and the new Climate Pledge Arena which is beautiful in the inside. If you get hungry, you can always go to the Armory's food court. There are cultural celebrations each month. They will bring traditional food from different countries and sing/dance. The Christmas Market and Great Pumpkin in October were also nice at this location. Busy so you better get tickets beforehand. Pacific Center Museum and Children Theater are other options when coming with children! But one of my favourites is the Chihully Museum. You can also get yoga classes here with an incredible view of the Space Needle :) Be sure to visit Pop Museum. Always with different and interesting expositions!! The building is just magnificent. You can look at it while going up to the Space Needle. Park at the Space Needle/MoPop Museum or over Mercer.
google avatar

Yelp
The Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle, the Mopop Museum, Chihuly Garden and Glass and the Pacific Science Center. All that can keep you here for at least a day. The Climate Pledge Arena is also located here for events that has the capability of bringing in an enormous amount of people. Special outside events during the warmer months are held here as well. I went to Pride here a couple of times and last summer was here for the Seattle Pokémon Go Fest which entirely engulfed the Seattle Center as well as downtown with it's activities. The Seattle Center of course brings in plenty of tourists but also brings in residents of the area for those special events mainly. I feel like taking the monorail in to the Seattle Center is still best and leaving your car in a parking garage downtown. Parking around the Seattle Center is possible but you may be asking for unnecessary hassle as it is not only notorious to not find parking around the Seattle Center easily which unfortunately includes the city in general regardless of neighborhood.
google avatar

Aj P.

Yelp
Great place to go when they have events. It gets way too packed though and very hard to walk around with the amount of people that show up for events.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
Seattle Center is a mecca of attractions, food, events, and open walking and relaxing space. It's not just home for the Space Needle. A lot of the major city events are held here as well.
google avatar

Lanny H.

Yelp
This is really a nice touristy spot to visit! Lots of food options, endless sights to see. The city has done a great job of cleaning up the area and making it feel safe. Lots to see and do, from the Spaceneedle to Climate Change Arena! Just seems as if there are limitless things to keep you busy. The weather was great on this trip! Dry and warm for a winter night.

Yelp
This is such a nice area located in the main part of Seattle. This location is home to the Space Needle, Climate Pledge Arena, Armory, and many others. This is such a nice and relaxing location. I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. I had tickets to a Kraken game at the arena so we took the monorail here earlier. It was a beautiful day so we ordered some Starbucks at the Armory location and walked around. There were a lot of people exploring the area and hanging out. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxing in nature before we were pushed back to our busy schedule again.

Yelp
We went here on a Wednesday (12:30pm-8:30pm) and Saturday (12:20pm-6pm) at the first week of September and it was probably one of the most crowded areas I saw in Seattle! I loved how lively this place seemed! I felt most places in Seattle were very dead, before I visited this area. This place has popular tourist attractions like Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, and a few more! When I went here on a Wednesday earlier this month for Space Needle, which was why I visited this center (we had the CityPass). I also went here on a Saturday earlier this month for Chihuly Garden and Glass (we had the CityPass) and the center was even more crowded on Saturday! Anyways, I realized this center has events and sometimes music festivals outside near the fountain, which was why it was so crowded on one of the days I went here. I love how this center always felt like there's something going on, so it didn't feel like there's nothing to do. I also saw some people have picnics on the grass here, but if you don't want to bring food to eat outside, there is also a food court called "Seattle Armory" here too. I'd recommend this place! This place would be one of my "must visit" places for people visiting Seattle and for people who live in Seattle, but never been here! I loved how lively it was and it felt like there is always music playing here. I also loved how many people there were since I don't like being at places that are very empty and the International Fountain here had a lot of people too! They also have a lot of benches and areas to sit if you get tired or just want to relax. I'm also a foodie so I enjoyed how they have a food court here in case I got hungry.

Yelp
We came here for the Festal free concert. We enjoyed the music of Two Story Zori " a reggae band out of Seattle, Washington consisting of members from Guam, Hawaii, Samoa, Philippines, Vietnam and....Oklahoma!" Very upbeat music for a perfect weather day!

Yelp
I signed up for the Northwest folklife festvival volunteer at Seattle center. It is an independent arts organization that celebrates the multigenerational arts, cultures, and traditions of a global Pacific Northwest. There are so many great live music in mural theatre and you can also have a beer while dancing with the music. It was a lot of fun!

Yelp
Seattle gets so much negative national attention but having lived there 4 years and every event I've been to has been wonderful. This is a fun place for family, friends, or dates to meet and see some really cool things!

Yelp
How is it possible that I have not written a review for Seattle Center? I come to this place even during non-event days. Seattle Center is like a Golden Gate Park or a Central Park. It's kind of amazing when I really pay attention to all the opportunities. Places to visit: MoPop -Museum of Pop Culture, which includes a Science Fiction portion Chihuly Garden and Glass - Chihuly's glass museum Space Needle - Definitely for tourist but they just had a remodel 2 years ago Pacific Science Center, with two movie IMAX theaters Children's Museum A/NT Art Gallery International Fountain Etc. Places for live shows or events: McCaw Hall - Opera and Ballet Seattle Repertory Theatre - Fantastic plays Intiman Theatre Seattle Children's Theatre Exhibition Hall Armory Etc. During non-COVID times, there are regular festivals, called Festál on site. There are some online events now. With COVID, I had not returned to Seattle Center for over a year. For grins, we decided to visit. The venues are still closed, the fountain is blocked off, same with the Armory. But the Space Needle is open for visitors. And best, for a person without an agenda (i.e. me), the spring flowers are blooming. We enjoyed walking the grounds spotting the showy flowers, especially the cherry blossoms and camelias. There's a peacefulness to the grounds without the normal crowds. Great for a walk and a visit.

Yelp
First time visited this place and it's a gem in the city. It is where the space needle located. It is a beautifularea situated at downtown. It's accessible through monorail and you can connect via light rail so no car is needed It has museum of pop art, children playground, fountain, amphitheater, etc. They have good selection of food like food court style inside Armory Food and Event hall. It's a great place to spend a day with family and friends. I only had an hour and a half so didn't get to finish walking the entire area. Will definitely come again when I am in Seattle.

Yelp
The Seattle center is home to the Space Needle, Chihuly Gardens and Glass, Seattle Center Armory, International Fountain, Climate Pledge Arena, Discovery Center and much more. In fact, now that I am looking into the Seattle Center- there is much more than the little bit I explored. The Space Needle alone is iconic enough to make you visit the Seattle Center. The Chihuly Gardens are inspirational and breathtaking. The public art and sculptures around the park are wonderful. Why three stars? I was sitting in Peace Garden, adjacent to the Space Needle, and had a rat literally run over my shoe. I didn't panic, but I was more than a little grossed out. I saw a total of three rats and decided to exit accordingly. Like the city- it has all these epic things to do and see and learn and enjoy, but there is dirtiness and a sickness that is all around. My previous visit to this city left me uneasy and feeling unsafe and this visit reminded me again of that same feeling. Being with John helped, but his fast paced walk through the streets showed his nervousness too.

Yelp
The Seattle Center is where it all goes down!! Plenty to see and do here, the big draws are the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center, and the Museum Of Pop Culture. But there's plenty of smaller, free things to do here also if you're willing to walk around and explore the area. If you get hungry, the Seattle Center Armory has plenty of food options. We took the MonoRail here which was actually a fun ride. You definitely need multiple days to enjoy everything here, can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
This is it! This is where all of the magic happens in Seattle! Okay, okay... maybe not ALL of the magic, but there's definitely a lot to do here. The Seattle Center is a popular tourist hub that houses many of Seattle's most prominent landmarks. There's lots to do and see here and both tourists and locals flock to this center. Parking is easy since there's tons of paid parking right next to the entrance, but street parking is just as convenient. Within the center, you'll find several walking paths that will take you through all of the attractions. There's a large kids play area, souvenir shops, and a few food and drink stands. Some of the popular attractions within Seattle Center include: *The Museum of Pop Culture *Chihuly Gardens and Glass *Space Needle *Pacific Science Center *Seattle's Children Museum *Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center Would highly recommend that you visit the Chihuly Gardens and Glass and the Space Needle if you've never been. They're two fun and very memorable Seattle attractions. If you have the Seattle CityPass, a visit to both is already included. There's also tons of public art exhibits and gardens located throughout the park. The Seattle Center often has several events going on, and you can check on their website to see what's happening. What's great about this center is that If you don't want to spend a lot of money, there are lots of free things to do here too. Definitely a must visit if you're looking for fun things to do in the city.

Yelp
I'm not sure you can fall in love with Seattle, as I have, and not fall in love with Seattle Center. Originally the site of the 1962 World's Fair, this entire area has become known as Seattle Center and hosts some of the city's most iconic tourist attractions, some also made for the World's Fair, along with some of the city's most vibrant organizations. This includes: Academy of Interactive Entertainment A/NT Gallery Book-It Repertory Theatre The Center School Chihuly Garden and Glass Classical King FM 98.1 Climate Pledge Arena Cornish College of the Arts Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center KCTS-9 (Public Broadcasting) KEXP - 90.3 FM Museum of Pop Culture Northwest Folklife Pacific Northwest Ballet Pacific Science Center Pottery Northwest Seattle Center Foundation Seattle Center Monorail Seattle Children's Museum Seattle Children's Theatre Seattle International Film Festival Seattle Opera Seattle Repertory Theatre Seattle Shakespeare Company Space Needle TeenTix Theatre Puget Sound The Vera Project That's a lot, folks. While some of these organizations have been available throughout the pandemic, the Seattle Center is really just starting to come back to life after having largely been shut down through the pandemic. While this meant I didn't get to check out everything offered, what I did get to check out I absolutely loved. Under normal circumstances, you can also find food & drink, vendors, and an electricity that certainly isn't quite up to normal right now and feels more organized and controlled since most of the main attractions that are open are limiting themselves in terms of capacity and in terms of time slots. In terms of accessibility, Seattle Center goes all out - this is a general thing in Seattle as it's a city that strives to be remarkably inclusive (I didn't always find this to be true, but I honor the effort). Services on the Seattle Center campus include (but are not limited to): Washington Relay Service (7-1-1) ADA Coordinator is available at (206) 684-7200 Guest Services at Events; Assistive Listening Devices; Available Materials (large print and/or Braille); American Sign Language Interpreters; Closed-captioning at all Movies at the Mural screenings. Accessible Parking Spaces are located at several locations along the periphery of the campus. All Seattle Center garages have designated accessible parking spots. If all the available spaces are full, visitors should check with the Attendant on Duty for remaining availability. Mercer Parking Garage offers 67 accessible parking stalls on levels B & C, adjacent to the garage's sky bridge to Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. Note: due to height restrictions, the stalls at this facility are not van-accessible. The 5th Ave N Garage offers 24 accessible parking stalls, including eight van-accessible stalls. One of the van-accessible stalls is also equipped with an Electrical Vehicle Changing station. The Theatre Commons ADA Parking Lot, located between Seattle Repertory Theater and Cornish Playhouse, offers six accessible parking stalls, including three van-accessible stalls, and an accessible pick-up and drop-off area. An additional drop-off area along Mercer St. between Cornish Playhouse and Phelps Center/Exhibition Hall also accommodates patrons with disabilities. The School District Parking Lot, located at 5th Avenue North near the Harrison St. entry to the Seattle Center campus, offers six parking spaces, with one accessible parking stall and five van-accessible stalls, which are located in the southwest corner of the lower parking lot. Finally, Seattle Center even features an ADA-compliant adult changing room and nursing room You do have to visit Customer Service in the north end of the Food & Event Hall near the stage for a key. There is so much to love here that it's impossible to cover it all in one review. There are both family friendly environments and environments best suited to the adults. There's a strong vibe of inclusivity and, yes, there are also places where you get the tourist shlock vibe. I'd love to come back and really experience Seattle Center when the pandemic has less of an impact and I can really explore these organizations more fully. Plus, I've added Seattle International Film Festival to my list of desired film festivals. While locals may get tired of some of these features, for the Seattle Newbie there's little denying that Seattle Center is a "must visit" campus of entertainment, education, inspiration, and just plain fun.

Yelp
Visit this 74 acre campus in the heart of Seattle for museums, outdoor art, playgrounds and more. Highlights include- The Space Needle The Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) The Pacific Science Center An Outdoor Sculpture Garden The Chihuly Garden and Glass Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center A beautiful place to visit with so many options to fill your day.

Yelp
My trip was a short one with no chance to see much due to business meetings. I had 3 hours open and up to the center I went. Parking was a challenge as this area was very busy that day. I found one in a lot not too far from my objective, the Space Needle. I wanted to go up into the space needle until I saw the prices and opted to just look at it from the ground. The sky was filled with smoke and fog and the tower top was nearly hard to see. I wandered about and enjoyed some of the food and drink vendors. I also enjoyed some of the street performers (magicians, acrobats and a banjo player). I also watched a stage performance in one of the nearby malls and one out in the outdoor venue. I look forward to another time with better visibility and not rushed on time.
google avatar

Kristy W.

Yelp
I can't believe out of all of the times I have been to Seattle I had never been here. Pretty cool food court, history, and tons of fun things to explore. We didn't even stay long enough to see everything this place had to offer other than checking out the train sets that were set up on display. I always love watching little towns set up, with toy trains. Makes me feel like a kid again. All of the food places looked delicious, we didn't stop to eat because we had already had lunch before we ventured out. Maybe next time.
google avatar

Usha A.

Yelp
I wanted to see this place since it was my first visit to Seattle. This place has more things to see and since it was my work visit, I couldn't spend much time looking around. I will definitely come with my family during my next visit.

Yelp
Hard to beat the Seattle center as a locale for great stuff to do! Is effectively a giant park with tons of different museums, exhibits and eateries. Many a weekend there are festivals held here that are wonderful to take part in - example - we sauntered into a Hmong new year festival a few months ago and boy howdy did they have some amazing food there! The dancing and singing was lovely as well though less meaningful to us given the language barrier. Nonetheless it was a welcome random afternoon! The area includes the Pacific Science Center, the Space Needle, the Chihuly gardens, the Pop culture museum (RIP EMP) tons of smaller attractions all flanked by downtown Seattle. It's easy to spend an hour or three days here! On a sunny day there are few better photo ops than the space needle and the surrounding art. While we're far from art enthusiasts, it's easy to appreciate he public art here. The final spot we really enjoy is the food court. They've done a great job of incorporating local spots with a few speckled larger chains. It's the only place in the area where you can grab an Australian Meat Pie, a mini cheesecake and a Double, Grande, Half-Caff.......You get the idea. Parking in the Pacific Science center lots are our favorite and makes getting in and out relatively painless. You owe it to yourself to check the area out!

Mojdeh S.

Yelp
Something for everyone at the Seattle Center! International festivals, movies at the IMAX theater, museum and garden of glass, the children's theater and museum, a fountain with music and enough fun for the whole family (especially in the summer and warmer months!). The Armory offers food and drink for a little time away from the walking and exploring. Many things to discover and see as you make your way around!

Simon P.

Yelp
There are lots of different venues at the center and those are top notch facilities to see a concert, opera, or theater. But after been gouged $35 to park, the price for the Space Needle, Science Center, or the EMP it's getting pretty spendy for a family day out. The only redeeming thing is there is MOD Pizza in the food court that has prices that are the same as other locations $11. Footlongs are Subway were just about $20, it seemed like eating at the airport. I'd did see tourist packs for admission to various attractions, where you could do the EMP, Aquarium, Space Needle, Zoo for less than $100 a person. It seems that would be the way to go even if you live here.
google avatar

Marisela S.

Yelp
Even if you didn't do anything else in Seattle, this place would be just fine. There are various vendors for hand made items, food, booths of businesses that are promoting themselves, museums, playgrounds, places were concerts can be held, art work, I mean you name it, they have it here. Since we had a little one we spent a lot of our time in there playground adventure park. It was soo neat because the obstacle courses were huge! with climbing structures, slides, swings, grass, sand, tunnels, I mean we spent a long time here and my little had a blast! If we lived here, this would totally be our spot to come to and get our energy out
google avatar

Blessie V.

Yelp
Everything entertainment wise is all here in one space. From the Space Needle, to Chihuly Garden and Glass, to the Museum of Pop Culture, to the Pacific Science Center, to the Seattle Children's Museum, and more, there is something for people of all ages. Parking, I feel, is ample, and if not, there's the monorail that goes directly to the center!
google avatar

Adrian B.

Yelp
We don't come here too much but it has the Space Needle, Chihuly, Pacific Science, Modern Pop, Armory and the arena. Have been to a couple Kraken games and I'm a sucker for the Space Needle but we come here when we have friends or relatives from out of town mostly. You can take the monorail out or drive, there's lots of parking. I have friends who bike out here, it's very bike friendly. There are nice museums and we support the Pride events out here too.
google avatar

Amber N.

Yelp
This place was really cool. I didn't think the Space Needle was surrounded by all these arenas and museums. When I was visiting Seattle it was a nice day. Sunny and it didn't get dark till 9pm. There's some parks and they were playing live music. They sold some hot dog stands and other types of food. This place is good for kids and lots of green trees covering for shade! I believe they hold events here too. Good place for kids and as well as families!
google avatar

Reuben L.

Yelp
Walked around the Center after Chihuly garden. Lot's of famlies and kids running around. There were sliding boards, giant pipes making sounds of music-a musical play ground, play grounds, and more. There was a museum. Also, the food court with all kinds of venues from fresh juices to coffee of all sorts. Lots of food choices as well. There's even a play ground in the bottom floor. There's a lot to see in this area including the space needle. If you go there parking is always a challenge but there are other public parking areas around.
google avatar

Pranjali S.

Yelp
Lots to do. Main attraction is the Space needle obviously, but the Museum of Pop culture is just around the corner. It is a great place to come and rest and watch. The needle looks large and looming. The museum has a cool color palate. If you walk to the back, there is an international fountain and every more lawn to sit and relax. The monorail is super cute.

Yelp
Site of 1962 World's Fair. Has gone through many transformations since I moved to WA State as a Navy brat. Community gathering place bordered by Queen Anne and Belltown. The Space Needle. Home of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Key Arena. The Armory. The Children's Museum. Theater district. Chihuly Glass Museum. Other arts organizations call this home. The Fountain. KEXP. MoPop.The very short monorail. Skateboard park. Pacific Science Center. Mural Ampitheater. Memorial Stadium. Site for Folklife, Bite of Seattle, Bumbershoot, Seafair and community events. Place to ring in the New Year. Been here a gazillion times for as many reasons. However, I'm here earlier this morning to pick up my race number and Tshirt for tomorrow's Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. Thankful for another year as a two time survivor with my other pink warriors and supporters.

Yelp
The Seattle Center houses a lot of Seattle's main attractions such as: The Space Needle The Chihuly Garden and Glass The Museum of Pop Culture The Pacific Science Center There's a lot to do here for kids. There was even a large playground and a water spring area, so of course kids were everywhere. I sat down at the water and just enjoyed the view. I chose not to pay to enter any of the attractions as I got a chance to enjoy the Seattle Center by simply walking around the entire thing and taking in everything I read/see. Got to see an entertaining magic show right outside. Not a bad experience.

Yelp
First time actually being a tourist in Seattle. Came for my sons 11th birthday trip and we did the tourist tour and he had an absolute blast here. He loved the culture, kids playground, pop culture museum, science center, and best of all we timed our ride perfectly for the Space Needle- went up in late afternoon and got to see the sunset which was amazing!!! I recommend the monorail to Pikes Place and as a transfer to and from airport. Son loved the experience of getting around without a car (we live in a small desert town)

Yelp
Seattle Center is the home of many of Seattle's top museums and sites. A great combination of activities all within walking distance of each other. Home to the Space Needle, Chihuly, Pacific Science, Modern Pop, and many other things to do. They also have food all throughout the center. I parked on the street a few blocks away and walked here. Expect it to be difficult to find parking. Busy area, very touristy. Great for a good family day.
