Fisherman

"Just 300m from the beach and with a name like Fisherman, it’s no surprise that seafood is the focus of this cosy, candlelit restaurant, which also boasts an attractive terrace if you prefer to dine alfresco. Produce from trout to catfish is used in unfussy, flavoursome dishes – including a knockout paprikash – that are often adorned with sea herbs and hedgerow flowers foraged by the team. It sits within Villa Sentoza, so there’s rooms available if you want to stay the night." - Michelin Inspector

Very good fish restaurant in Sopot. Paprykarz is particularly excellent, but in fact every dish we ordered was very good. One of the best spots in Sopot and even whole Tricity.

Service is an absolute disaster. From the moment we walked in, it took a full hour for any food to arrive at our table. The staff were overwhelmed, inattentive, and far from welcoming. We politely asked to be moved to the patio once a table became available—this request was completely ignored. They serve oysters but, shockingly, have no proper utensils to handle them. The so-called “iconic” trout tartare arrived warm and tasteless. To be fair, the soup and main dishes were good—but not good enough to justify the wait. The painfully slow service and lack of basic hospitality ruined the experience. For a restaurant charging premium prices and flaunting a Michelin recommendation, this was deeply disappointing. They need to hire more staff and train them properly.

Fantastic lunch. Professional server 👌. It's definitely a hidden gem in Sopot. 💯💯🫶🫶

Amazing food — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. Sadly, the outdoor area is full of cigarette smoke, and staff say it's allowed. It really spoils the taste and atmosphere, especially for a place with Michelin recommendations. Great food deserves a smoke-free setting.

Run - dont walk - to Sopot, to eat here. Absolutely special and delicious fish dishes. Wonderful service team with a lot of passion for the gastronomic experience they are offering. I appreciated the calm and cozy atmosphere. Already has a Michelin recommendation but could easily be on its way to a star. Either way, I recommend making this restaurant part of your visit to Sopot area.

Quite a nice restaurant with decent food. The sevice was very friendly. Nothing really too extraordinary about the food but we enjoyed the meal nevertheless. We had a mosquito in our butter which came with their bread before the meal which was quite a put off for a start. We expected a higher standard I guess. I would say the restaurant is a little overrated but that’s a matter of personal preference.

We ate at 2pm - only one other table occupied. We had great service from the young female server with enthusiasm and encyclopedic knowledge of the menu and wine list. We gratefully accepted her recommendations and enjoyed a superb meal with matched wines (not the tasting menu). The quality of the dishes and their presentation on the plate were outstanding. The best meal we have had in Poland.
