The Best Restaurants In Aruba - Aruba - The Infatuation

"You’re in Aruba, which means you’re looking to relax, and the last thing you want is a drawn-out fussy meal. Head to Fisherman’s Hut, a casual, family-owned lunch and dinner spot in the high-rise district with nightly live music and a patio that’s quintessential Caribbean. You can’t go wrong with the local-caught fish of the day that’s grilled, blackened, or fried—you want it blackened so that you can enjoy the top-notch crispy crust—or split a whole-fried red snapper. Fisherman’s Hut is the prime place for when you’re staying in the Palm Beach area and looking to have dinner and not dip into your late-night casino budget." - jacqueline dole

We certainly almost missed this place nestled in with all of the other over-profiled restaurants. The fisherman‘s hat has some of the best fish and seafood dishes that literally come from the sea, and I brought to your table by the fisherman. We’ve never seen or had barracuda before, and so we tried it, and the fish was well seasoned and well cooked. Skip all of the other places on that strip, come somewhere local and Support this business.

This place was awesome, all of our meals were great. Abigail, Rich and Louella took very good care of us! The food and wine were excellent. Thank you and we will be coming back! Ernesto

The paella was delicious. The pan bati was so good. The catch of the day barracuda was cooked so well. The service was fast and great. I would highly recommend.

If in this area, I'd recommend stopping here. Live music and fresh catch fish. If on the menu for the day, order the blackened barracuda. I ordered it and my waitress replied saying she gets it everytime. It's a white fish and they cook it to perfection. We also tried their cerviche, shrimp cocktail, and mahi mahi. They do have a lunch and dinner hour with a break in between. To avoid a wait, I'd recommend getting there at the open dinner hour. All of it was wonderful, staff included. Would come here again for sure.

Great place to have of course fresh seafood! Fish prepared to every which way. Different types of fish. Outdoor seating only. Friendly service. My beer was a little warm, so make sure they put it on ice for you before they serve it to you. My husband had fried red snapper and I had fillet barracuda. They were both awesome. Plantains were nice and sweet. The rice could use some seasoning or maybe gravy. The salad was great. Be prepared for all of the Geico’s on the ground underneath the table waiting for scraps👀😫

Ordered the Paella and was very surprised by how good it was! The atmosphere was real nice as well. Finished it off with a passion fruit cheesecake. Highly recommend!

The shrimp served in the pineapple is delicious. One of my favorite meals while in Aruba was here. Fresh fish caught daily.

Solo dinner date. Had the fish of the day, snapper which turned out to be an excellent choice. Treat of cheesesteak to finish off. Excellent as well. Cheers to Michael- appreciated you serving skills.
