Very fresh seafood made to order. It is a quick service restaurant so you go up to the counter to order and grab your food but it as good as the super fancy restaurants where you will spend at least twice as much. I watched them process blue fin as I ordered and sat with a large tank of live crab. It doesn't get any fresher than that. Everything I had was cooked perfectly and they provided a buffet of sauces for you to choose from.

Google
We absolutely love this restaurant!! Great food, prices and service… The albacore tuna sandwich and the fish & chips are always a favorite!!

Google
Was super excited to try this place, having moved from Minnesota and not having had fresh fish in a long time. I was not disappointed. First of all, price points are extremely fair when compared to coastal restaurants, and even other restaurants in the area. We tried the Fisherman' Seafood stew and it was light and refreshing. Definitely on the tomatoe-ey side which is my thing, but not over powering. We then had the Drunken Clams. The broth for these, I could easily drink. Clams tasted as fresh as you're going to get. We then split the Captains Platter, which is definitely big enough for two people to share. The cod was flaky and perfect. Shrimp were so good that I may get them by itself next time. Clams were fried and probably not my thing, I definitely prefer them steamed but that's all preference. Overall, this will be my goto seafood restaurant in Eugene going forth. You just can't beat the value and freshness.

Food was good atmosphere was great. Service was efficient. Definitely glad we found this place. The fisherman's stew was a stand out, delicious.

Google
Easily the best restaurant in Eugene. It has the tastiest food and is reasonably priced. It is _very_ casual dining. You order at the register and wait for your number to be called. The fish chowder is spectacular. We also love the platter. We tried the fish tacos on Taco Tuesday and loved them!

Google
This place is the total package the best place to get fish period in Eugene. My brother and I each got different fish and chips combos they where awesome, they had fresh sauces for everything. We also got the smoked salmon jerky that was the best thing they had for our opinions me and my bro each got 2 pounds. We will eat here every year when we come to see Ducks football at autzen stadium. This place is a total recommend

Google
Amazing place with the freshest seafood. There are plenty of options for any seafood lover. I had the lobster Mac and cheese along with a side of fried halibut. I wanted to try everything on the menu.

Yelp
Craving fish and chips... so off I go. 3 piece fried cod, and decided to sub a salad for the fries (healthier, right? :) ) I love all the fresh seafood swimming around in tanks... I will have to try some fresh crab next time! Delicious! Great atmosphere... and lots of cool things to eat! Great service too! I really enjoyed this visit!

Yelp
The food here is delicious and a wonderful spot for freshly caught seafood! Service is friendly and welcoming. They make everything to order so it's fresh and hot. I ordered the special Ling Cod Fish n' chips with a cup of crab bisque. There's plenty of seating available inside or outside and I love the inside of the place where you can see the live seafood in tanks on the right side and the overall naval theming. There's a sauce bar near the counter where you order where you can get cups of sauces of your choosing which they have a great variety of along with various toppings for your food. The crab bisque was rich and creamy and was well-seasoned. I love the generous amount of crab meat they put inside and it was one of the best soups that I've had. The ling cod fish & chips were delicious. The ling cod was fresh and moist on the inside and the batter on the outside was crispy and crunchy and combined with their sauces, they were fantastic. If you are in Eugene and are a fan of seafood, you have to come check out Fisherman's Market! They have so much variety to choose from and you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Amazing service and food is spectacular. Everything is made to order and super fresh. Even after driving back my takeout to the hotel, everything is still hot and crispy Can't wait to return again! Hard to find a space in the lot but street parking is plentiful

Yelp
Wowee! Best decision we made all day! We sampled their tacos at a food truck yesterday and loved them. Today we went to their restaurant and market and we were blown away! It was tough to choose with the delicious offerings on their menu, but we settled on grilled halibut and wild salmon tacos, mean green style. We added the rice and beans and YUM! Not only were they the tastiest, but also quite filling! Fresh and delicious and we will make this a mandatory stop next time we are in Eugene!

Yelp
If you're in the mood for seafood, you won't want to miss this place. You're welcomed in on every visit you make. Also when you walk in you'll notice the wonderful scenery in here as well as the smell of fresh seafood. We usually get the Cajun Crab Boil Bag to take home, or when we eat in, I usually get the crab cakes, but I also get the Dungeness Crab. The parking is very tight, so you may have to park on the street. Either way you'll be happy you went.

Yelp
We were out of towners looking for a good place to eat and read the reviews for the Fisherman's market. My wife and I went and were pleasantly satisfied. We only ordered the clam chowder and blackened salmon salad, both of which were super yummy! The only reason I gave it "4" stars was because when we ate in the covered patio, there were lots of flies. Then I saw that patrons simply placed their plates in a bin which is next to an open garbage can (both of which were close to the tables)-NO wonder there were flies! Also, if the staff wiped down tables (frequently), that might help as well. I sincerely hope they (management) can find a way to improve these issues because the food was really good.

Yelp
The place has been on millstone we moved to Eugene. Finally made it and was not disappointed. Seafood stew was amazing and the meal excellent. We look forward to many return trips.

Yelp
Fisherman's Market is such a wonderful surprise! The food is absolutely delicious, the fish is so fresh, and the prices are fantastic. I got the shrimp tacos, one fried and one grilled, and I was amazed at the quality and value of the food for the prices.

Yelp
The gumbo was spicy enough for a weak person - however the fish chucks were cold inside - Kudos for them being open on Independence Day !

Yelp
TACO TUESDAY!! So good and so much food!! Yes, for me, two different tacos (1 shrimp and one fish option). Both so good!! Julie got the fish and chips (Rockfish). Cooked to order and FAST! The place is hopping on a Tuesday night! We go a lot and always end up talking to all sorts of interesting people. Always a win in my book!!

Yelp
10+ years since our last visit and I wasn't yelping yet, so this review is long over due! On another trip to watch our daughter play in a volleyball tournament, this time in Corvallis. But of course, we need to make a stop through Eugene and get food from Fisherman's market! Everything still looks the same except for the workers and the restaurant was still packed. After finding parking in the surrounding neighborhood, we walk in glance at the menu and order: Captain's plate, bowl of chowder, and two fish (grilled Wahoo) tacos one of each style. Since it's been at least 10 years since our last visit, we took pictures with the local fisherman (you'll know once you're in the restaurant). After waiting 15 minutes the cook asked our number and he couldn't find out it, so they cook our order "on the fly". They apologized for the delay but we didn't care after driving/sitting for 7 hours in the car. But 5 minutes later all our food was ready to take back to our hotel. Everything was delicious and they have new sauces which only enhance the flavor the food. I didn't care for their Asian Sauce; it had an earthy taste due to the cucumber (not my favorite food). Their "bang bang" sauce is a winner: mild and sweet which is ironic since the sauce is called "bang bang". Oh their cocktail sauce had more kick than the bang bang sauce due to the horseradish in it...my nose is still running. LOL I almost forgot the food. The fish tacos were packed with fish, slaw, and topped with a generous amount of queso. Each style had great flavor and the recommended grilled fish (not fried) was perfect! A good charred taste of the Wahoo fish. The Captain plate was unrecognizable since my wife almost ate half of it before I could take the picture (& there's still plenty of food in the basket) Overall, I was recommend anyone looking for some great seafood, then don't pass by when you're in or going thru Eugene, OR!

Yelp
Always a solid place to eat and have a satisfying meal. We were lucky to be in town on a Thursday for "Thirsty Thursdays" for the 2 for $2 oyster shooters--what a deal. They shucked 'em and I ate 'em. The gumbo caught my eye on this visit...it was packed with shrimp and sausage with a piece of pork in the side. Really flavorful--came with a kick that creeps up on you. The lobster taco was good, I think I would have preferred that it wasn't batter fried, but nonetheless it was still tasty. The shrimp scampi is a solid standard and very good. Overall, it's great dining experience worth checking out for locals (but they already know that) and out of towners alike. Note: No table service, order and pick up at the counter. Most importantly, remember to bus your own dishes.

Yelp
Delicious food, excellent service, wonderful environment, 10/10 would go again!!!! I wish I knew the "shrimp cocktail" was so itty bitty but that was my fault lol

Julie S.

Yelp
Delicious food!!! I had a salmon taco and a shrimp taco with ranch beans and lime cilantro rice. The tacos were absolutely delicious. So flavorful! My husband had the Diablo pasta with shrimp and scallops and it was superb! Hats off to the Fisherman's Market for great food at very reasonable prices!!
google avatar

Casey R.

Yelp
Place is really kind of dirty and very expensive, the fish is good and staff very knowledgeable
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best local seafood restaurants and markets in town. From clams to crab and so much more. It's not fancy but I don't think you'll notice. Highly recommend it.

Conor K.

Yelp
Grilled parwn tacos normally great were trash. Bad cooks. Cajin dip normally good wasnt. 7/13 1:25 pm

Yelp
I chose Fisherman's Market to go to lunch on our trip to Eugene. It's always a hard decision to pick one restaurant out of all the restaurants there. But Fisherman's Market reviews sounded great and sold me!! We had fried clams and fried fish. We meant to get the fish broiled but chose the wrong one. The food is very good. The atmosphere is a laid back place with picnic type tables. You go to the counter and order from the menu above. The menu is quite varied so you have lots of options The staff is really helpful if you have questions about the menu items. I recommend and will definitely be returning to try other things.
google avatar

Fely G.

Yelp
Just love the freshness of the fish, the simple and down to earth pricing and the honesty and thoughtful attitude of the people. Would go back when we are in town.
google avatar

Katherine K.

Yelp
This place has a lot going on, but it isn't overwhelming at all. I loved the neon light accents, especially the octopus one above the hanging lights. Between my friends and I, I got to try their Clam Chowder, Lobster Mac n Cheese and the Bang Bang Shrimp Rice Bowl. The clam chowder was my favorite with the bang bang shrimp as a close second. I wasn't impressed with their lobster Mac n cheese though as there was almost no lobster and you couldn't even taste it. Still worth coming and checking out their other items if I'm ever back in town.
google avatar

Corinne B.

Yelp
You don't see a lot of fish restaurants/eateries anymore that are non-corporate and local. No ambiance what so ever, and not a ton of service, but very good and fresh fish. The fries were delicious too, and the sauces are really good. Now, I know of a local place to buy fish and sauces, and to eat some too! Finally, tartar sauce that isn't full of sweet relish, cocktail sauce, with a bit of kick, and fry sauce with a bit of kick! This is a gem in Eugene!
google avatar

Janice T.

Yelp
I've been here several times and have picked up some of their fabulous boil in the bags seafood before and thought I would leave a review this time. I always feel good when I leave because all of the employees are helpful and professional and, most importantly, I have had a delicious meal. At this visit, I ordered their small serving of fish and chips, which is two pieces of fish (I got the cod) And waffle cut fries, a side of coleslaw and a cup of clam chowder. And a Pilsner beer to complete the meal. Everything was fresh made and delicious. As usual, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, so I took the clam chowder home for later. There is also a sauce bar with all kinds of sauces for your meal. There are also cold cases with fresh seafood and smoked fish for purchase. The interior is small, but there are tables and chairs for those of us that like to sit and eat and people watch. I love to get a Dungeness crab or two when they are available and cook them up at home. Love this place!
google avatar

Nessa J.

Yelp
had the clam chowder and blackened salmon salad with honey poppyseed dressing. the salad was the bomb.com and the clam chowder's consistency was perfect, it just needs a lil more seasoning, however, my palate is adept to southern seasoning. service was quick and to the point as i placed a to go order.
google avatar

Tamlyn L.

Yelp
Delicious fresh dungeoness crab! The crab dinner came with a cup of clam chowder and a side salad (actually fairly big!. Highly recommend coming here! *They're closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays Great news! Owner says they're open everyday, I had read elsewhere that it was closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays but I'm happy to hear they're open daily!!
google avatar

Deb R.

Yelp
It was ok. Same usual fare. You order at the counter so there's no waitress. Small and limited seating
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Been here a couple times now. The food is always great and fresh. They also sell fresh seafood. Don't miss the smoked salmon dip....its 6 stars on its own. Pick up some smoked salmon or fish jerky or peppered salmon sticks because they are all amazing. Service is from the counter but there are plenty of tables to enjoy your meal
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
Delicious food and freshest seafood you will find. You know it's fresh when you see it in the water tank and the boiler is right beside it. From crabs to lobsters, this place has it all. We got a great mix of what's on the menu. Cod fish and chips, jalapeño poppers, and fisherman's platter. Everything was perfectly cooked. Pretty quick too. The lunch crowd picks up at noon so get there a little before. Nice selection of beers on tap and wine from local vineyards. Deserts were tasty too. We got the lemon pie. Tight seating but they have a nice heated outdoor area if you can't find a spot inside.

Truth K.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the Oregon shrimp salad with the Dijon mustard. I wouldn't suggest the razor clams unless you're a fan of razor clams in general. Service was super fast and there were many tables to sit at! A great stop for a quick bite.
google avatar

Mehreen K.

Yelp
Delicious seafood spot in Eugene. We went after a game at the university and it was amazing. Fresh seafood and delicious sauces. The clam chowder was creamy and flavorful. Waffle fries were perfect. Casual place, fast service and friendly staff.
google avatar

April W.

Yelp
Great spot. The food was delicious. I ordered the crawfish pot pie with a salad. Also tried the lobster Mac and cheese . My dad had the fried shrimp and waffle fries. Everyone really enjoyed their food. This is definitely a place I could return to again and again to try everything on the menu.
google avatar

Kate U.

Yelp
We tried this place during our visit to UofO. It's relatively small and has the feel of a real fish market. There is limited indoor seating as well as an adjacent covered patio. The service was friendly and quick. We tried the clam chowder, fish tacos, and clam strips. Everything came out hot and fresh. They have a nice selection of local brews on draft too. I was able to get a great IPA for only $4! It was a bit out of the way since we didn't have a car but glad we tried it!

B G.

Yelp
Halibut and chips are amazing! That's pretty much what I get here even through there's a plethora of good seafood... Service is good, I mean, you order at the counter and they're pretty busy (the times I've been) Ambiance is a bit divey but that's by design I suspect... all in all you'll enjoy the food...
google avatar

Rochelle 'Shella' T.

Yelp
This is a haven for seafood lovers! Their clam chowder is the best. I think the dill makes it more delectable. It's very good value for an $8 bowl. It contains a good portion of seafood and potatoes. Their crab cakes were also a big hit with the kids and my hubby. It was packed with crabs, not extenders. It was served warm. It went very well with their Cajun sauce and on its own. You can purchase it for $10 and take home to cook or have it cooked for $15. It was a good place to try Cajun Crawfish Pie. It had a bit of spice in it and full of flavor. I like how they make the crust toasted and flaky. It's a great meal. But heavy dish despite the seemingly small size. I also enjoyed the Diablo Pasta with lobster. It's a creamy pasta, that is not overpowering. It came with a generous serving of lobster and a dinner roll. The kids liked the Wahoo fish filet paired with cross cust fries. They make everything fresh, making the food really good. Would love to go back to try their tacos and other dishes that were on the specials board and regular menu.
google avatar

Lori S.

Yelp
Surgeon Fish n' Chips today is AAAAMAZING! $20... tarter sauce bar with endless sauces and as many slices of lemon you can put on your plate! Everyone who works there is friendly and today they helped me pick my lunch!
google avatar

Brent B.

Yelp
Been back, and while I think some of the specials can be still hit-or-miss, the things they do well, they do SO well that it's a 5/5 for me. Also, the service has been consistently great & friendly. If anything isn't right, they will make it right (one time without me even asking!).
google avatar

Delicia B.

Yelp
I am so happy we stopped at Fisherman's Market after a 30 hour train ride. The Halibut Fish n Chips and a cup of Clam Chowder was so good. My first time having halibut and it was very tasty with their in house salsas! The place was busy, but the wait was not long to order and to receive our order. The inside has many pictures of the food and the pricing. They have live crab inside too! I thought that was cool! There is plenty of seating inside and also in an extended room.

Frank S.

Yelp
Had fried seafood. Pretty good and reasonably priced. Service was dreadful. Waited more than 30 minutes and several orders at least 10 numbers higher than ours were called before we got ours. We'd probably still be waiting if we hadn't gone to the counter to ask about it.
google avatar

Mileena D.

Yelp
Local gem. Parking lot is really small but there are some additional spots across the street. You order at the counter and they will call your number over the intercom. Seating is all inside, there's a sun room as well. They have an array of fish to try, fresh dungeoness crab, and chowders. The clam chowder is a must - so delicious and perfect for the cold weather. We ordered Halibut taco, Wahoo taco, rockfish, and scallops. The scallops is something you can skip out, it's a bit flavorless. The fish was really good and you can order it grilled or fried. They also have a market with other fresh or smoked fish to purchase separately. They also have so many sauces you can try so that is unique. You bus your own tables at the end. Nice workers as well!
google avatar

Dianna D.

Yelp
So good! Casual dining with inside and outside seating. Excellent service. The young lady who took our order was very helpful with deciding what to order since we had never been here before. We met the owner as well. We are from NO CA Coast and are very picky about what people call "fresh" fish and this restaurant is outstanding! We tried the clam chowder, blackened salmon salad and grilled albacore tuna fish n chips. All were excellent. No fishy fish taste. Lots of sauce options that you get to serve yourself. We tried the cacun spicy tarter sauce. Very good! We will absolutely be back.
google avatar

Jill F.

Yelp
I had a whole crab it was fresh and delish. Why wouldn't it be their little eyes are focused on guests just before they are cooked. Fresh delish flavor. I really enjoyed the place it's unique but really focused on delivery of a great food product. I would go again and again to this place. They did forget my fries but corrected it right away with fresh fries once brought to their attention. The tables are really compact so when you have a whole group there it can be a challenge but we made it work. There was some elbow throwing as people enjoyed their meal but very few complaints! If you are on the fence about this place get off it's worth the time and money great food!
google avatar

Miki M.

Yelp
If you're looking for some really great fish and chips or fish tacos, this is the place! I came here many years ago and loved it. Came here again recently and I still love it. They have a self service sauce bar which you can try as many sauces as you want. I ordered the cod fish and chips. The breading on the fish was quite crispy, but contrasted with the soft and fluffy fish it was wonderful. The fish tacos looked great as well. When I come back to Eugene, I'll definitely try these!
google avatar

Josh O.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! I came and had the clam chowder (some of the best I've ever had) and Ahi Tuna and Chips. The waffle fries are excellent but the Ahi...THE AHI!!!! The breading is a delicious light batter with the freshest most amazing tasting ahi pieces. Really can't rave about the spot enough. I came back the next day for back to back lunches while on the road for business and am trying to go back for dinner on day 3!!
google avatar

Erica F.

Yelp
Came here based on recommendations. I was very excited as I saw the poster of Diners Drive In and Dives by the front door. There was a small parking lot on site, and street parking is available. It feels like a fisherman market when I walked in. A server offered us samples. I like the salmon jerky. It was flavorful. We ordered clam chowder in a bowl, and a sturgeon fish and chips. They offered a several types of dressed as dipping sauce for the fish. They are available in bottles for purchase if you want to take them home. The fish came out a bit darker. Not sure if the oil used was old. The fish was very tendered, but has a lack of flavor, which was disappointing. I did not like any of the dipping sauce. The clam chowder needed more salt and pepper for seasoning. I like the fisherman market vibes and services, but not the food.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
We had the grilled wild salmon sandwich - loved it so much that we returned for a redo 3 days later. Large selection of condiment sauces. Much variety of Dungeness crab, oysters/clams/mussles, smoked seafood and fresh fish. I hope we'll be back in Eugene soon so I can try the Fisherman's Market's other offerings!
google avatar

Robert W.

Yelp
Here on business. Was looking for a good lunch spot. Hadn't had fish since being in Oregon. OMG. This spot was so cool. If I lived here I would buy fish here everyweek. So many options was so hard to choose what to eat. Everything was good on everyone's plate. If you get a chance don't skip this place!
google avatar

Mrs R.

Yelp
Nice setup, friendly staff! Food was amazing, we will definitely stop by on our next visit to Eugene!
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
They have a Sauce Bar! And I love the order at the front, grab a bottle of wine and wait for your food to be called. Calamari was super tasty, fish tacos are huge and the crab cakes were all crab!
google avatar

Ana H.

Yelp
We were on a road trip recently and drove through OR. I always like to check out Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives when we're doing a road trip to see if anything is on our path. So delighted we got to check out this fresh seafood place! I attached pictures of the tacos we enjoyed! It was definitely a hit & if we're ever around we'll come back. I will say it's definitely a DDD vibe if you need to use the restroom..They're located outside of the building and certainly in need of TLC. One was clogged and the other might as well have been.
google avatar

Faron B.

Yelp
Food is always amazing at this place. I got the cod and chips with a bowl of clam chowder. The service is quick and very nice. The ambiance of the place is family like. I'll definitely be coming back.
