San Diego’s Best Little Italy Restaurants and Bars | Eater San Diego

"The first stateside location for a well-established group of restaurants centered in Mexico City that’s so serious about seafood that it has its own system of seafood processing and transportation to deliver fresh product. Guests are greeted with cups of flavorful seafood broth, a precursor to a menu that includes oysters, tuna carpaccio, shrimp tacos, sea bass, and octopus." - Helen I. Hwang

Good plan for a lunch! Ask for terrace/ garden table, otherwise the atmosphere is not the best inside restaurant. Quality price food is amazing, watch out portion might be big! Recommend tacos, prawns, aguachile! Super nice and fast service! Super good cocktails and fresh beers ! Perfect plan for a break with friends or colleagues!

Went to this place with my team. Amazing places started to shrimp soup which was so amazing later had shrimp taco , grilled octopus and followed by deserts .definitely best place to have fresh seafood . Ambience was good.

I can definitely recommend Fisher's in Polanco district CDMX. The service is fast and professional and the menu is truly imaginative without being overpriced. Start with the "Modelada con camarones" – so much fun :-) Their house oysters were very spicy and authentically local – definitely a must-try. The cocktails are also excellent!

We ran in here during the rain and it smelled goooood! Why is their complimentary seafood soup so delicious????

Google
What a fantastic restaurant! We used Google Translate to communicate and the staff had someone who spoke English when I had a question about the margarita. Our server Lanny was fantastic! She was quick, attentive and friendly. The food was fresh and superbly prepared. The drinks were strong and delicious. I am coming back!

Google
This place has a pretty sick deal, buy one shot get one free. Clam chowder was pretty good with lots of clams but a little salty Seafood pasta and fried fish was decent The best dish was the stone crab claws in a butter sauce. You must get a side of rice for this. Overall 8.5/10

Google
The food was okay. The guacamole was disappointing. I expected something better considering it’s Mexico. I had the rice plate with garlic shrimp which was good. The service was not the best here. The waiter put down the wrong order and I had to wait an hour for my food. The waiter was non existent after he took my order which was why it took so long to correct my plate. I had a G&T with berries and it was really good. The place has a good vibe if you like to drink with some good music.

Google
Excellent service and very clean establishment. I had the seafood platter: fish, shrimp, octopus and clams, It was brought out fresh and full of delicious flavor. We also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and coconut shrimp. The cocktails were also very refreshing. A wonderful establishment for delicious seafood. A must visit. Will visit on my next visit to CDMX.

Yelp

Yelp
This place was great and the service was good. The food was excellent and they offered a seafood broth to start the meal. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Try this place out if your near it in CDMX.

Yelp
Food is okay. A. Little bite expensive, but worthy to try the craps. The wine is wired with peppers and salt.

Yelp
My wish is that there was a fishers in Miami and anywhere else, for that matter. Unfortunately, the only place that I can go to fishers is in Mexico City and while that is disappointing because it is one my favorite eateries of all time, it is still my first stop and last when I am in CDMX. I highly recommend everything on the menu, literally, there is nothing that I would not order and everything comes out delicious. My favorites include the shrimp tacos as well as the fish tacos. The ceviches are all amazing and I once even tried the chilaquiles for brunch and was pleasantly surprised with how good they were. Hands down the best thing about this restaurant is the first thing they serve you before you even order. It is a complimentary shrimp broth that tastes amazing, I shall ask for a 2nd because you just have to. Also, it's not everyday you find a lemon squeezer on the table so you've got to love that.

Yelp
This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing fancy but the service is excellent. We took the set menu. The " fish soup " was too salty. Then there was a Cesar salad enough for two people, then cerviche , very good. This was followed by the main course fish fillets with broccoli and onions in a kind of soy sauce -again enough for two people. There was a beer included in the menu and a dessert lemon sorbet plus a huge cookie. Starve yourself before going there!!! We were seated outdoors and the distance between tables was respected. On a sunny day, it was very nice. The restaurant was packed and although we were lucky to get a table, I would recommend reserving first.

Yelp
Great grilled fish with amazing red sauce for 300 pesos Shrimp fried rice was good but too salty and shrimps were most likely frozen for 200pesos. My beans has something suspicious in it so I'm a little grossed out. Maitai has a drop of alcool FYI which is ok for me Islita flottante 40 pesos. Total for 2

Yelp
Probably the best seafood restaurant you can find in Mexico City! I was visiting there and my family took me there.. oh boy, I wish we had one here in Chicago! The starter with shrimp juice was soooo good! I had to ask for 3 more juices haha.

Yelp
Food is not the main reason why you come to this place, maybe the shrimp tacos are the best item on the menu, but if you are looking for a restaurant /bar to spend a nice afternoon of heavy poured drinks, this is your place.

Yelp
Great little place to eat seafood! Not too fancy yet has authentic delicious seafood platters! My favorite were the empanadas and the shrimp or fish taco in flour with the little side of yellow rice! Mmmmmm! I recommend this place 100%!!

Yelp
Not impressed! Our waiter would forget a lot of things. We had like three waiters and they wouldn't communicate with each other. It was a mess and a lot of the food they said they had, they didn't have! My BF & I got sick after. They use too many condiments and our stomachs were in pain. The last time I felt like that I would doing a detox

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Everything's is delicious! I specially like the taco the camarón. They have a social menu for before 2pm.

Yelp
Bad experience with 7 crab pincers at 900mx pesos... incredible and this plate doesn't even appear on the menu. Was recommend by restaurant and track us like a fool...‍

Yelp
Food was good and affordable but the manager offered us a "special appetizer" which was a small plate of a few bites of what seemed to be guacamole and spaghetti, he failed to inform us that this dish was 685 pesos, ($34) that was more expensive than all of our food combined! Such a rip off, awful service. I never give reviews but that's not okay. They saw we were Americans and immediately took advantage

Yelp
Great fish in Polanco. It's a famous place so definitely come here for lunch or dinner if you have never been.

Yelp
I go hard in the paint for Mexican food in general and have never experienced the taste of what a Mexican seafood dish is like...let me tell you.....it was awesome. There were many dishes that I've never seen offered anywhere else that truly had a Mexican twist on them! The presentation bad service were second to none. What was even more beautiful was that the amount of food we ate would've burned a hole in my pocket if this was anywhere else in the U.S.. To put this into perspective, it would be like dining at Pappadeaux and ordering 8 different servings of foods and multiple drinks for only 2 people. All those in Foodie Nation knows what this what end up costing which is why we typically order 2 main dishes, drinks, and MAYBE an appetizer. So I guessing you're wondering what this was costing me in Mexico City????.....About $850 pesos AKA roughly $50 U.S. Dollars!!!! Are you freaking kidding me!!!??? Excellent service, atmosphere, and food!!!

Yelp
Great location in the middle of polanco. You have valet parking and many ubers in the area. The service is outstanding. This is a great place to grab a drink and something not heavy to eat. The shrimp tacos are their specialty. Their menu bedore 1pm is cheaper and really good.

Yelp
Recommended to us by a local friend. Food was great and service was great. Unfortunately they didn't get a new shipment of oysters. However we were seated quickly and they had an English menu which helped.
