I can understand why a certain former president came here on a visit. I go to Florida often, both my parents grew up there. I make certain to always get a grouper Sandwich when I go down. Y’all this might be the best Grouper sandwich I’ve ever had and it is in friggin Atlanta, far from the coast. The blackened seasoning was perfect, it was hot and a large portion that stuck outside the bun, it was so good. We also had the gumbo, which was delicious on a chilly day with 30mph gust and 20 degree weather. Both the andouille sausage and shrimp were great quality. Could use just a tad more rice, but the spice was nice. We had two cocktails, wish I could tell you what my hot drink was, it was 16 dollars but it had plenty of alcohol. It was pretty good. Although the temps were frigid, we were well warm on the covered patio. The ambiance is hip. We sat at the bar, and that bar tender was hustling. We had great service, that was friendly and fast. Bottom line I’m coming here every time I crave a grouper sandwich.

Fishmonger always has fresh seafood and one of my favorite places to go for their Happy Hour Oysters 🦪 and delicious fresh cocktails. If you want non alcoholic drinks they have several selection. My favorite is their delicious fresh made cherry limeade. The location is in Pullman train yard, I would recommend go during the weekdays. Weekends can be super packed. This location has their own parking too as well. Services is excellent and I love the vibe inside. Price is high but to me it is worth it. Highly recommended.

Had a great birthday dinner here. I love the inside seating, excellent food and casual/laid back atmosphere. I had the EVT drink....loved it. So refreshing and great flavor with St Germain. I loved the food...tried the Szechuan oysters. Loved the chili oil and cucumbers. It was delicious! I also tried the shrimp ceviche. So much flavor. Lots of mango and avocado with the shrimp. We also had the blackened grouper sandwich and gumbo. Both were super tasty!!

Might just have had a close to perfect experience here! We arrived early for the oyster happy hour. They were fresh, mild and the mignonette was on point. Next, the scallop crudo was fabulous! With melon, mango and the chile powder the combo was so tasty and delightful. The grouper sandwich and the Caesar salad were the perfect way to finish the meal. Word to the wise, arrive early. Line for ordering can get long!

I feel like I'm in an 80s movie here. It's a very retro feel. The ambiance is very nice and lowkey. It's a little pricey but worth it. The food is amazing and service was quick. My bf and I went on a Friday night and sat at the outside bar. The bartender was friendly and efficient. I had the lobster roll (didn't care for the coleslaw, but it's coleslaw..so yeah lol), ceviche, and a glass of wine. I didn't have pics of my bf's food, but he had a seafood chowder and something else. It was all delicious. They could probably scale back a bit on the garnish, lol. The food and cocktails ingredients are super fresh. Later had a frozen cocktail and it was amazing too.

Food was amazing! Finally got to try good seafood in Atlanta! Everything was fresh, their crudo had amazing flavors going on, and their blackened grouper sandwich was good, but lacking some sauces or dressing. Looking forward.

BAM *spices* Fishmonger knows where the spice aisle is and makes great use of it. All their dishes hit you with an array of flavors that, while distinct, mesh well together. They also know what herbs are and utilize them. Too often seafood restaurants bank on salt and maybe some old bay for ‘flavor’. The ceviche was some of the best I’ve had. The blackened grouper sandwich gets a 10/10. There is a full service bar and whatever you call it when there is a case of oysters on ice in front of you. Oyster bar, possibly. I’m cultured… This is a counter-service restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside there is a covered area and a fire pit. The general vibe is casual to smart casual. There is a parking lot that utilizes park mobile. We were here on a super busy night with multiple events occurring at Pullman Yards and had no problem getting a parking space. Right now, you can probably find free parking on the street near (ish) by, but it’ll be a little bit of a hike and as Pullman Yards develops, I’m sure there will be more restrictions on available spaces.

Great food! We had oysters for appetizer, the clam special, and the grouper sandwich. Large portion size for the meals. The grouper sandwiches were delivered to the table well before the clam special and drinks were a little slow, but delicious.

Overall: not really worth the price of the food The restaurant has a nice feel and has good outdoor seating. Drinks are good, but extremely expensive. Service is also average. For the price they charge for their food, it was just average. Definitely would expect more for the prices they charge. I went with the Hot Fish Sandwich. The catfish is cooked well and the ingredients come together to create a nice flavor, but again, for the price I was expecting something more. A place that is just too overpriced for the quality of food they are serving. I think for a few bucks knocked off their drinks and food the place would be worth it. One of those places I would consider going back to one more time because the food was okay, just do not agree with the prices.

It's super chilled out casual outdoor place. The food and the drinks are fabulous. It is on the pricy side (as good quality fish should be) but it is totally worth it. I had the avocado toast with crab, the oysters and a lovely grapefruit mocktail. I loved everything. My husband had the blacked fish burger aka the obama sandwich and he loved his too. The service and parking was excellent I will definitely revisit.

They have an incredible happy hour with margaritas and oysters. The oysters wear super fresh and the margarita was good. The shrimp ceviche isn't as spicy here as the west midtown location and I prefer spice. Overall great food and service. I look forward to returning

Unfortunately, this restaurant was a let down. The outside patio was spacious and decorated nicely, but my mom and I decided to eat inside. The bar area was so bright and aesthetically pleasing that I wanted to sit there to eat, but we decided on a middle table. Our waitress quickly took our orders and told us about the half off deals for the wine and margaritas. I decided on a lime margarita and the Gulf Shrimp Roll while my mom got the Lobster Roll. Both were disappointments. They looked appealing but the first bite was questionable. I think there were too many unfamiliar tastes mixed together that made it an unenjoyable somewhat shrimp sandwhich. I wish I had ordered a different menu item that my palette would have been familiar with. If anyone were to visit here I just wouldn't suggest those two dishes.

The vibe is great with heaters and a fire when it's chilly. The service is nice. I am not a big fish eater. However the sandwich was good and the shrimp roll was a large portion. If you like sauce on your fish, this will satisfy your craving. The NA drink was good and so were the sides. Overall it's a fun place to hang out but the food is not the highlight.

I get what they're trying to do here... take advantage of a killer exhibit and space across from them and jack up their prices on everything! I would absolutely never go here again. We sat at the bar and it took about 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. This was a Tuesday keep in mind! They weren't very crowded AT ALL! Once we did finally order, we just got 2 mixed drinks, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. The service sucked, it's WAY over priced and they don't even have that big of a great menu to choose from. They're literally just taking advantage of people who don't want to look for somewhere else to eat after a fun exhibit. Definitely wait be back.

I have been wanting to check out a Fishmonger restaurant for a while now and I am so glad I finally checked out the Pullman Yards location!! I'm not sure why this location is rated so low, because this definitely lived up to the hype, especially post-Michelin mention. My friend and I came here to catch weeknight happy hour/early dinner and parking wasn't too difficult to find in one of the lots here. We were seated right away and our server was quick but efficient. We decided to get the happy hour special margaritas and a half dozen oyster special. These oysters were super clean and fresh and just a great start to our meal! For mains, we decided to split the tuna melt and the famous grouper sandwich. I was wary about the tuna melt (hadn't had one in YEARS) but this was SO GOOD. It was actually so flavorful and tangy and really hit the spot. The grouper sandwich was also delicious, and the fish just kept flaking so perfectly. The filet they gave us was also MASSIVE and barely contained in the sandwich. The seasoning was great and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. I know some of the other reviews complain about prices, especially for a more "casual" setting like Pullman Yards, but with how big the filet is and how well everything was seasoned and cooked, I think this was reasonable (although I would've loved if the sandwiches came with a side/fries). Overall, still a really good experience and definitely want to check out the other locations!!

Great Chill spot, if you like watching trains pass by. Excellent service from outside bartender Mary Eleanor something or other. She was just a lovely human. Great people watching. Especially my ridiculously cute boy friend

We tried Fishmonger after leaving the Balloon Museum exhibit. It was a Wednesday so it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. I ordered the Tuna Melt ($17). It was honestly one of the best tuna melt I've ever had. My partner ordered the hot fish sandwich, which I tried but I didn't care for it too much. The bread was soggy. It needs a firmer bread. The fish itself was delicious. I would definitely return. You can give it a try. It was a cute vibe.

OMG--the tuna tartar is the BOMB! It's a must-have! Everything is great, the ambiance, the service, the music, the energy--all awesome. If you're in ATL visit Fishmonger--there's 3 of them, don't miss the opportunity. You won't regret it! Oh and shout out to Caleb, the GM. Very hospitable and welcoming. I will be back with my family and girlfriends. Very cool and chill place. The music is pumping but not drowning, you can still have a conversation! I keep coming back to add more. This drink--my mouth is watering from food to drinks.

The food was delicious, but a couple hours later, I got hit with some serious stomach troubles - we're talking bad diarrhea and projectile vomiting. Very traumatic experience.

Amazing service and amazing food. I went to the closing weekend of the Balloon Museum in Atlanta and upon leaving the event Fishmonger was posted at the entrance/exit of the event. The set up is very quaint and set up to enjoy the outdoors. They do have seating inside but highly suggest sitting outside. They place a nice selection of music while you wait for your food. If you're a fan of oysters and are near the vast amount of restaurants in Atlanta I say make this as a list of places to consider.

Fishmonger is our new favorite seafood place! We are happy that they have more seating at this location. The space is casual, with neon signs and minimal but thoughtful decor. You order your food at the register unless they aren't swamped, and then sometimes you will be fortunate, and one of the servers will come and let you order from them. When you order your food, they give you a number so the servers know who to bring your selections to. There are tables and a bar inside, but most seating is outside. Outside there is a bar and some other tables under a deck, but if the rain is fierce, like the other night in July 2023, a lot of the seating gets wet, even under the deck. There is also sitting outside, not under a deck. Your fur baby can join you for your evening if you sit outside. There is a paid parking lot, or you can park on the street if there is space. We like coming here for oyster happy hour, but we will go even if there isn't one, as everything is scrumptious. The first thing I had was the FM old-fashioned, and my hubby got the Gibson. After we ordered our drinks, then we ordered a dozen of the happy hour oysters. We have been here a handful of times, and I've had the blackened grouper sandwich every time as it is so good, we can't resist. It is such a large piece of grouper, and it is perfectly cooked that it only needs a fork to be cut. We also usually pick something from the daily menu, and this time, we had tuna tartare. My second drink was there, a frozen cucumber margarita, and it was spectacular! It was so good my friend decided to have one too.

If you want a delicious and fresh juicy fish sandwich with a the nice amount of heat, Fishmonger is my go-to! Finally got to check out their new location at Pullman Yards and I love how there's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating! Much more room than the OG spot. This location also doesn't have the fish market but has a full bar! Love it. Happy hour today was 1/2 off oysters Food was delicious and fresh to order, as always! tip: the first hour and a half of parking is free! After that it is $3! Expect first come, first serve seating. You will order inside and pay, and they give you a table number so they can bring you your food! Easy peasy.

A nice addition to the neighborhood- and especially Pullman Yards area which is a disjointed mess. Easy parking and we had a relaxing lunch on the covered patio. It's beautiful and the food is delicious, although a little pricey- no fries or chips with $20 sandwich which is silly. I'm glad I read the reviews before going so I knew tip was included. I don't mind at all, but I can see people not noticing and double tipping. The service wasn't overly friendly and prices high, thus 4 stars.

Great service and location but terrible food. Not worth the money. The shrimp cocktail sauce was a strange color and over priced 7 shrimp and terrible sauce. The Cesar salad was not worth the money and The drink was weak. 10 out of 10 do not recommend run far and fast away from this place. I can't believe they have multiple locations.

Over priced. Over rated. Glass of ice with a little tea was $4 (no refills) Extra sauce $2. Have been a few times. Doesn't live up to the hype.

I had been very interested to try Fishmonger since they opened their earlier VaHi location. I tend to enjoy pescatarian meals over any other and have found strong seafood options somewhat limited in Atlanta. Food 4/5: (but 5/5 for freshness) The flavors of the food are good. If you are not too invested in other aspects of the dining experience, it is worth trying out. The menu is a bit limited as others have mentioned, mostly focused on sandwich type offerings. They did have a whole flounder special ($40) and a few oyster options when we visited. I found the prices to be a bit steep, especially for a counter service setup... our meal was slightly over $100 for 2 cocktails, 2 sandwiches, 1 side, and grilled oysters. The quality of the seafood is very good though. Cocktails were pretty tasty (the daiquiri and martini). My husband loved the Szechuan style grilled oysters (specials menu); they had a heavy nori and sesame flavor, presentation a bit odd - off the shell, 6 or so meaty oysters thrown on a large platter, but quality oysters, again. Hot fish sandwich, I thought was just alright. I think the grouper is the stronger option. Both are served open faced and not made for eating politely. The hot buttered potatoes were not very warm but were quite buttery. The issue was that a generous portion of fingerlings are stuffed into a tiny bowl and all the "good stuff" at the bottom cannot be reached. Service 2/5: Honestly, counter service or not, there's a lot to be worked out. Menus are available in the front room, a dimly lit space with a few tables. Entering the main, brightly lit counter and indoor seating, there's a board with specials that are mostly blocked by the register stand and people currently ordering, and so we found ourselves scrambling to reconsider our decisions once it was our turn to order. The oysters were the first thing we ordered and what I thought to be an obvious appetizer. Instead, one sandwich and the potatoes arrived first. Pet peeve - server's thumb in the potato bowl (we JUST had a whole thing with infectious diseases!!) - just serve it in a larger vessel! Many minutes go by as the first sandwich get cold; meanwhile potatoes arrived cold. Then the second sandwich and we're asked if we need anything else. Oysters were possible forgotten but eventually arrive. Ambiance 3/5: There's a third outdoor, uncovered space with a fireplace of some kind making it pretty smoky on a windy day but probably nice otherwise. It's all self-serve - utensils, water, napkins. It's a bit of a weird setup for parking because the lot uses Paymobile but apparently only when there's an exhibit at Pullman Yards. Might go back to try the lobster roll, might not. Hoping things are a bit smoother if so!

Y'all, run, don't walk, to come to this place. The Fishmonger has an incredible atmosphere and even more delicious food. And the staff there is 10/10 helpful and kind. I went for dinner on a Thursday evening with my husband and his grandparents. First up, the rumors are true: get the grouper sandwich. It was genuinely so buttery and so delicious. I don't think I've had a better bite in a long time. I had the tuna melt and it was also delicious. Would do either one or try something new the next time I'm there. The table shared a Caesar salad which we heard was incredible. And ya know what, it did not disappoint. Truly an amazing salad and definitely enough to share with a table of four if not using as a main dish. To drink I had one of the gin based cocktails and y'all, these things are strong. It's delicious but drink with caution if you have to drive. The table also got a round of oysters, compliments from the kitchen. They were served with kiwi and lemon crema that made every bite delightful. This place has cozy interior seating so if you want to experience the vibe, get in early! They also have great outdoor seating.

While the food itself is very good the service is true garbage. And the owners are reflective of that. First, when you walk up ..... You truly have no idea what you're supposed to do. They don't have appropriate signage. In fact they have way too much, which obviously confuses people as to what they're supposed to do. It also doesn't seem like the kind of restaurant that you should be ordering at a counter for. This is pricey seafood and they're taking a casual approach to their service, which does not work. On top of it, their owners are complete asshats. Half they time they can't pay their staff on time. They condone drug usage, such as meth. And they fire people for not seemingly enjoying their job enough. Seems a little ass backwards to me.

This place was a total surprise & a hidden gym. The seafood and oysters are fresh. Drinks were strong and unique. Everything we had including the specials was great. Tucked away on the Pullman yard there is great artwork leading the way. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Prices were avg and market price. Half off during happy hour. Definitely a must return.

If you're looking to spend $146 on 2 cocktails, 2 beers, two sandwiches, clam chowder and 6 oysters, with 22% gratuity automatically included in your bill, this is the place for you. Our server had a poor attitude and was not welcoming at all. While my sandwich was good, it wasn't good enough to return.

So good! My husband and I sat at the bar and had the frozen apricot cocktail and it was delicious! We both got a Caesar salad with the blackened grouper...can't recommend enough! So fresh, so flavorful, so filling! Can't wait to come back!

I've only been here once, but plan to attend again. I had the fish sandwich, it was a little spicy but tasty overall. The service was good. We sat outdoors, and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Food is amazing and location is right next door to Pullman Yards. I thought the grouper sandwich was the best thing on the menu until I tried the hot fish one. If you like a little heat, the pasta salad is a perfect complement to any sandwich. We tried one of the appetizer specials - cobia hamachi and both the presentation and flavors were 10/10. Headed there tonight to try the Sunday night seafood boil.

i was surprised it was soo good, actually. the tuna melt was delicious bc of the toasted bread -- there's a tuna steak in the middle surrounded by what looks like canned tuna (i should have asked why most of the tuna salad looked so mushy). chowder had a good flavor, but the stock was a bit thin. i do highly recommend the caesar salad.

I came here after the balloon museum for a lunch, horrible service people who came before me got their food and I didn't even get to order. Also one of the workers dumped my slushy back in the machine after I said I wanted a new one because it was not a slushy. Absolutely unsanitary! What if I already took at sip and then you just contaminated the whole machine. I'm in disgust, please don't ever come here unless you want horrible service and food poisoning.

A friend and I went here to grab something to eat as a recommendation from their friend before Jack Daniel's: Art, Beats, & Lyrics and the both of us were so incredibly glad we came. We tried two of the most popular items on their menu being the hot fish sandwich and the blackened grouper sandwich as well as the side of potatoes, and good god... For starters my friend got the hot fish sandwich which was a catfish sandwich. Now I normally do not like the taste of catfish, but trying this just lets me know that the previous catfish that I've eaten just wasn't made to my liking because let me tell you... It was so incredibly flavorful--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--which made me feel like I should've just taken her's. Lol! Now for the grouper sandwich. The fish itself was very good with it having quite the kick from the seasoning, but everything put together is what made it such a superb taste that I'd love to try again. Lastly, for the potatoes which was the star of the show for us at least. The very moment I tried one it almost brought a tear to my eye it was so incredibly divine. Who knew so little simple ingredients would create such an impactful flavor. I'm still here thinking about them as I type this... Aside from the food, the location has a very quaint and warming industrial design which is one of my personal favorite architectural designs. I also want to mention that we met one of the owners who actually gave us the recommendation for the sandwiches, and the landlords. All three of them are such great people and I'm glad we had the opportunity to meet and chat. Overall, we absolutely loved this place, and will for sure be back. 5/5

If you're looking for a vibe; this is the place to go! The ambiance was perfection. Covered patio was nice and warm. For this experience I started with the seafood chowder and an old-fashioned. The chowder had me closing my eyes with delight and wanting more. Flavor was perfect and the bread addition was perfectly crafted. The old fashioned was good but not my favorite drink on the menu and I absolutely adore old-fashions. Ladies- the daiquiri is a very tasty option. Next- I had the THAI COCONUT CURRY MUSSELS . I had to put the meal in caps because this flavor and perfectly cooked mussel left my jaw dropped. I definitely suggest catching this seasonAl item. Next , I had the tuna melt- more like a tuna sandwich without the melt. But, tasty. Hands down! Head to this restaurant and treat yourself to a good time.

We came here for a quick dinner and drinks after the Stranger Things experience. We loved that there was a lot of seating outside as the inside was pretty small and full, and we grabbed a table close to the fire pit. This restaurant is an order at the front situation and seat yourself, and then they bring you your food. We ordered and split the rock shrimp ceviche, chef set oysters, and scallop crudo. Everything was SO good, very light and crisp and went so well with all of the fruits they were paired with. My favorite was probably the ceviche though! We would definitely come back next time we are in the area!

I was so disappointed in my trying out the newest Fishmonger last night at Pullman Yards. The restaurant was not crowded on a Thursday evening. We decided to eat outside where there is an attractive bar. While there was a person behind the bar taking someone else's order, we stood there for several minutes while being ignored as other staff walked by and no one so much as looked at us. Finally, after the other customer ordered, she looked at us. There was no welcoming nor warmth. We found a menu while standing in front of the bar and ordered: blackened grouper sandwich and a Caesar salad with blackened grouper. I asked if any sides came with the $20 sandwich ($19 on the website) and was told that there weren't. There was an $8 side of potatoes that we ordered ($8 for potatoes?!). I assumed it must be amazing and huge enough to split. I quickly signed the bill and paid there at the bar. I pressed, "print receipt". Afterward, I thought, "Over $90 for a salad, a sandwich, potatoes, and two drinks?" No receipt was given to me. I finally got the order taker's attention again and asked for it. When she brought it, I saw that there was a mandatory 18% Service Fee (before any services were performed). I did not see that when I signed the screen and I had added more tip. I did not see it on the menu, either. We helped ourselves to one of the empty tables outside. Food came out very quickly, with no napkins, drinks, nor tableware. They didn't even notice when they brought the food but they did bring that after we asked. We asked a couple of different people for water and our drinks which eventually came. I also asked, twice, for a glass for my can of beer, eventually walking behind the bar 10 minutes later to get one. Food quality was fine but nothing special. She didn't even like the salad enough to finish it. My sandwich was fine but seemed very small for $20. The $8 potatoes were pretty good but not worth nearly $8. I live within easy walking distance, love fish, and could go there all the time. However, mandating 18% service before any service is given and when it never comes, is more than disappointing, not worth it, overpriced, and nothing special. Besides maybe having a can of beer under and nice bar area, I would never go there, again. I tried to give them this information on their website that asks for reviews. However, it doesn't allow you to send them. I called each of their stores and no one answered. I left a message but no one returned the call. My main suggestion is to drop that (hidden) 18% service fee or put up signage that they will charge it so that we don't overtip in a place with such poor service.

Great seafood. I always get the blackened grouper sandwiches which are great but I like spicy. Nice atmosphere at Pullman yard location. Helpful staff always and quick service. One of my favorites

The restaurant may be ok if you like expensive average seafood. But avoid the Pullman Yard AT ALL COSTS. It is expensive, you will sit in traffic for at least an hour, and there is no freaking PLUMBING for toilets. Total boondoggle, this place.

The Hot Fish Sandwich is the best fish sandwich I've ever had in my life. Order it. Don't ask questions. Just do it. (Unless you don't like spicy stuff) Great vibe. Indoor, and both covered and outdoor patios. Counter service and the food comes out quickly.

i got really sick from this place( diarrhea) ...bad bad bad...customer service wasn't up to par...her name was parawita...not the best waitress...all common courtesy's went out the window...felt like i was rushed and not appreciated...wow

I'm here because hours online say they open at 11am, just informed they open at 3pm so if your driving from far way make sure you call or come after 3pm would be nice they fix their hours for this location online information. Just considerate

The Pullman Yard location offers a lackluster experience. We enjoyed the Ponce location and thought a larger dining space might help. After browsing through some pictures of this place, we were excited to spend an evening at this new location. Unlike the Ponce location, this offers larger and more formal space for us to have a dinner experience and spend time there. However, the menu was pretty much the same as the other location, which had several sandwiches, peel and eat shrimp, oyster bar, and a chowder. The options were limited, not necessarily by the number of items, but by its nature. The overwhelming majority of it consisted of sandwiches, which seemed more suited for a grab-and-in or lunch occasions than a sit-down dining experience as the dining space and atmosphere of this location might suggest. The lack of diversity in its menu did little to keep us ordering more food or drinks, which was our original expectation. We enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp as it was something causal that we could share leisurely over a conversation. We were hoping to see more shareable seafood items, such as mussels and clams, fish dips, fritters, street tacos/baos etc. Given the menu we ordered from, we ate and had little reasons to stick around or to order more. The menu simply didn't meet the expectations of experience that the dining space offered. Beyond the menu, the overall experience was also incoherent. Given its fancy space, decors, and even down to the high-end napkins, we did not expect the soup to be served in a disposable cup or to order food from a tiny kiosk, which does little to promote additional rounds of ordering. To be fair, we don't have any issues with an of the above items individually, including the menu, but it is the combination of them that made a strange experience. To top it off, some of the items were over priced. For nearly 20, you get 6 shrimps, 5 to 6 for a bottle of soda, catfish was priced similar to flounder, crab, and shrimp. However, our food was fine and the staff was friendly, which we appreciate. Our overall experience was meh. We saw a sit down dining setting paired with an awkward casual menu and upscale prices. Had the menu included more shareable options, we would have stuck around much longer. As it stands, we can find similar quality seafood dishes with a much more complete dining experience for a similar cost around town.

They were a bit limited on the menu (imo), but wow, the grouper sandwich was amazing. I'd definitely go back. Service was amazing.

Tasty food, great atmosphere, right next to Pullman. Easy walk if you live in the neighborhood and plentiful seating, especially in comparison to the Poncey location.

This place thinks they are super hip and trendy. Fine, deliver crappy service and overpriced food elsewhere. We were excited for a new seafood place to open, but this isn't the place for people who live in the neighborhood. You are way better off heading to Beetlecat. This place is banking on people to come in from the burbs to see whatever is going on in Pullman Yards and never come back. $10 12oz cans of beer, and if you'd like a cracker with your dozen oysters the food runner will laugh at you and say they don't serve them. Couple that with nonexistent service and it's a loser. FYI you order at the register and are asked for a 20-22% tip to never see anyone again. Very disappointing.

This place is overrated. For the price of a fish sandwich with NO side included is ridiculous!! What service??? You place your order and hopefully you'll find a table to sit to eat. I guess the bar is the main attraction.

MANDATORY 18% SERVICE FEE WITH FINE DINING PRICES IN A SELF-SERVE ENVIRONMENT AND TRULY UNHELPFUL STAFF?? What a joke. The food was good overall (with one exception), but the service was absolutely nonexistent. The place is set up so that you order at the front counter and someone brings the food to your table...and that one trip to drop off the food was literally the only service we got. They have self-service water stations and napkin stations, both of which were completely out of water glasses AND napkins (and the restaurant was 25% full at most). I walked into the kitchen to let the staff know they were empty, and they handed me a couple of napkins. Later in the meal we needed more napkins, and I got up to find that no one had bothered to refill either station, so again, I walked into the kitchen to get another stack of napkins. After all the food had come out, they had forgotten to bring out the chowder I ordered. I waited another 5-10 minutes to make sure it wasn't just a little behind, then got up again to walk to the front counter and let her know they had forgotten it. She said she would let them know. Another 15 minutes goes by and it still hadn't come out, so this time I walked back into the kitchen, again, and told the manager they had forgotten it. This was clearly a surprise to him, as the girl at the front hadn't actually bothered to tell anyone that I was still waiting on it. At no point did anyone ever come to check on our table to see if we needed anything, even once. We spent half our meal careening our heads around to see if any wait staff might walk over our way and notice we needed something. So my question is this: in a self-serve environment where I made four times as many trips to/from the kitchen than any employee did for us, why exactly am paying a MANDATORY 18% GRATUITY that they automatically add to your check before you even sit down?? I always tip very well for good service, and I tip decently for mediocre service. But unless you count the one trip from the kitchen to put our food on the table (without napkins or silverware), we didn't actually get ANY service. Completely unacceptable. I will never be coming back, and based on how this location is run I won't be going to their other location either. There are too many good options in Atlanta that actually provide quality service to support restaurant owners who run their establishments like this. And as an aside, the chowder I did finally get after about 35 minutes and reminding the staff twice, was nowhere near resembling an actual chowder (nor the photo on their menu). It had very little seafood or potatoes in it, and the broth was thin and clear. At best it was a weak seafood soup, with minced bits of seafood and one whole piece of shrimp.

Very hip and trendy. Good service and great happy hour deals. Great place for people who live in the neighborhood. Even better than Beetlecat. This place is good enough to bring people in from the burbs. Delicious beer, perfect oyster pairings, and cheery service. Great new spot!

My favorite thing about this place was the environment! The patio is super cute and lowkey. The customer service was decent. I didn't love the food. My friend and I got the ceviche for our appetizer, and it was okay, but lacked freshness and flavor. I had the hot fish sandwich and brown butter potatoes for my entree. The catfish was very crispy, fresh and seasoned well, but I didn't care for the abundance of mint and lack of sauce on the sandwich. The potatoes were overpriced, lacked flavor and undercooked. My friend had the gulf shrimp roll and pasta salads. The shrimp roll was overpowered by mayo and dill. The pasta salad was just okay. Overall, I was disappointed with Fishmonger, unfortunately.
