I was really excited to try Fit for a Cookie and finally had the chance on Sunday night. They weren’t very busy, but there wasn’t a wide selection of cookies available during our visit. They did have a caramel snickerdoodle to sample, which was good. I asked what the difference was between the sample and the other snickerdoodle, as some of the cookie descriptions were missing. I had to ask the cashier for descriptions of some cookies, but it seemed like I was inconveniencing her. However, because of my food allergy, I need to be extra careful when ordering various foods and drinks, so I wanted to confirm. We ended up getting a snickerdoodle and a red velvet cookie. After we ordered, the cashier asked if we wanted a box or a bag, but I wasn’t really sure what the difference was, and she didn’t explain. I saw her taking some fresh cookies out of the oven, and asked for a one. She said she couldn’t give me one because we had a bag instead of a box, but I would have happily switched to a box for a fresh cookie if I understood the difference better. Overall, the customer service was lackluster, and the cookie was just okay in my opinion. I will say the red velvet was better than the snickerdoodle. Maybe it was just an off night, so I’d be willing to give them another shot in the future.
