This hotel is truly a hidden gem. A little to hidden which is why I gave 4 stars for the location, but it's really not a deal breaker. The main entrance is a bit unassuming so you're likely to miss it. I actually walked in through the rear of the building where some of the workers were. Now that's out of the way, this "club" is absolutely amazing! Stayed here on May 18th. This place felt really upscale. Fitness rooms are incredible! I'll have to come back to try the additional amenities. They offer classes and have a movie theater and bowling alley. Unfortunately, the alley wasn't available due to a wedding but it just gives me a reason to come back. Staff was super kind and very accommodating. They actually escorted me to my room. Everyone was extremely kind. There is also valet parking, a bit pricey ($60). Again not too much of a deal breaker for me. I'll definitely be back.

I love the Fitler Club! I am here often and I never get bored. There are soo many things to do here and the member events are amazing. If you've ever considered joining, do not hesitate.

Unfortunately this has been a pretty bad experience. We had a gift card and went for a birthday celebration and a series of frustrating events has led us away from wanting to go again. We were charged $787 for the room (despite having a gift certificate for a free night) and after over a week of emailing back and forth we were refunded the money only to have our credit card recharged again for $787. It has been an exhausting waste of time and really not worth it.

Love this place! Hip and a little hard to find but once you’re there you’ll love it! Ten times the value of the downtown hotels. Convenient parking right next to hotel entrance. Great staff and fabulous room

Still at the hotel and while it is definitely an experience, this falls short of what you’d expect for the price. The entrance, although discrete, is uninviting. There was only 1 elevator working which was slow. The decor is odd. While some aspects are amazing (like the work with rough textures, dark colors, and bright artwork), others leave a lot to be desired (like the odd pictures of young men smoking hanging in our room). There are absolutely NO views from your room. You are in a redecorated warehouse, so you get warehouse views. The water pressure was awful (even for the bathroom sink let alone the shower). The room’s visual fire alarm kept flashing every 10 seconds all night, impeding our sleep. Overall, not good value for money. Philly has much better options in this price range (and that’s what you’re up against). This is why it gets a solid 2 stars.

We attended an event in their garden space and were offered a tour of their facilities. We were impressed with the professionalism and graciousness of the staff from the bartenders to the front desk greeters. Although Fitler has club members, you can rent space for weddings, meetings and other special events. The owners support talented local artists by displaying their work which is for sale. Their gym facilities include a rock climbing wall. The hotel is close to Center City but it is tucked away.

Google
I photographed a recent wedding at The Filter Club for the first time. I was really impressed by this venue. It was a perfect downtown location for a micro wedding. They have two wedding spaces and I was working in the smaller space that opens up out to a deck. It was very private and the views and open air feeling of this spot was just perfect for an intimate event. I was impressed by the modern art work decorating the wall by local artist. There were many interesting spaces and natural light to photograph in and my artistic eye was on overload! There were outdoor spaces too around the club that I found photographed well all within a 1 block radius. The staff was super helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend for a small event or wedding. I am hoping to work there again soon!

Yelp
Love this place. With the exception of one employee but def coming back to visit Philly. Booked this hotel for my bf's birthday due to its charm and amenities that align with our lifestyle. Was excited for the gym and the golf simulator besides its gorgeous decor. The loft suite was truly everything we needed for the stay. Extremely comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The soak in tub was really a treat. We booked another night because we were so in love with the space. The loft suite wasn't available so we booked the king size bed/room. It was just as good as the loft suite in my opinion. The art all throughout the facility seem to have been hand-picked and curated very well. I noticed some familiar artwork. There is a dj at the bar area on certain days which i thought was cool especially if we didnt want to leave the hotel. The gym and locker room was what i would actually come back for. They offer a membership that caters to gym goers as well. The golf simulator looks like it hasn't been taken care of too well but still enjoyed hitting a few balls. The levels are a little bit confusing so I would brief yourself on what exactly you would like to do there and what level it is on. Their merch collab with lululemon was cute. Wish they had more of my size but definitely something I would've purchased. Looking forward to my next visit here.

Yelp
This review is only for the Lobster Broil- While this was an amazing meal, I thought it would be bigger with more entrees. I thought it would be a side of sausage and potatoes (it was in small quantity on the lobster plate). The pull apart bread was freshly made and very tasty. The andouille sausage was so spicy which was amazing. The potatoes were average but it was cool that there were so many colors. The corn on the cob was the full amount and was perfect. They left the butter on the side which was nice. The lobster was nicely cut which was a surprise. It was nice not to struggle with using the tool to open up to get the meaty parts. The lobster was in a really nice, tasty, white sauce. I do feel like half the meat in the lobster couldn't be reached since the head of the lobster wasn't cut. The Boston crème pie was the best thing of the meal. Pastry chef, Joyce Park, is so good. They gave a big slice for 2 to share. The chocolate top was delicious (I think it was dark chocolate). The middle layer was the best part! I can't even describe how good it was.

Yelp
I had a meeting today during brunch. We enjoyed it so much we lost track of time. Amazing experience from start to finish....

Yelp
Was expecting Chef's table but instead were directed to the dining room. Chef's table would have had a great view of the Chef preparing the meal. The waiter came and asked us for our drinks order. Me, not knowing wine except not liking reds, was offered a glass of white wine that would clear my palette before tasting the first course. The excellent choice really impressed me on the waiter's skill in selecting wines based on customers preferences. The first course was Australian Wagyu Tartare. The meat tasted rare but not in a disgusting way. Mixed with the sunchoke, mustard, and turnips, it was low key yet refined. Every bite was a delight. The second course was the American Wagyu Sukiyaki, a mix of the waygu and angus cows as explained by our chef. It was served with a soy sauce reduction that made dipping the waygu into it and eating it so savory. The garnishes seemed to get into the way of dish after the meat was eaten. Not sure if it was meant to be eaten together. The third course was A5 Japanese Wagyu, the closest to the fames kobe meats. It was juicy and succulent and eating thin strips of it brought joy to my mouth. The lemon poset was slightly overpowering but overall great

Yelp
Member for over a year. It's not "private club" quality, feels like an upscale airport lounge wanting to be a country club. $500/mo. Management is poor, and impossible to speak with (and the front-line staff will even say this outright). $500/mo. Things are often broken. Locker room sucks. Sauna and steam room are mediocre at best. $500/mo. Food is good, but not SUPERB, yet the prices are SUPER high. Make it SUPERB, worth the price and beyond. For $500/mo I want quality I cannot get next-door for the same price or cheaper. There are constant "reserved" spaces every day, so maybe the balcony is off limits, or the bowling, half the bar space/lounge. FOCUS ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP. $500/mo. All for like $500/mo. GET GOOD. FOCUS ON YOUR MEMBERSHIP. BE NICE TO YOUR MEMBERS. ADD A BIKE ROOM, ADD LARGE LOCKERS ALONG EMPTY WALLS IN THE GYM. ADD WATER FOUNTAINS IN THE LOCKER ROOM, the melting water is GROSS. YOU NEED NEW MANAGEMENT THAT GIVES A **** ABOUT MEMBERS PAYING $500/mo.!

Yelp
The Fitler club provides great venues and service for events. My company frequents the Fitler club for happy hours and meetings and I've always had a delightful time. The staff is very polite, especially when you enter in the wrong way and get lost. Someone is always willing to help bring you to the right location. I've had a meeting in the ballroom which is connected to a backyard garden. I think this is where weddings are usually held. But it makes a great space for corporate meetings as well.Breakfast and lunch was also provided. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bagels, pastries and turkey sausage. I had a peach pastry and it was delicious! I think they used star anise to flavor the peach filling. Lunch we had potatoes, steak, salad, grain salad, and a medley of sandwiches. The space was large enough for my company to mingle but not feel empty. When we did have meetings in the ballroom, you could hear the kitchen staff blast their music. It was sorta comic relief to all day meetings. The trophy room is the most enjoyable! I've ordered too many drinks there. The bartenders are always polite when making your drink. I've never seen a bartender look annoyed and they make the drinks is care. The best dirty martini I've ever had was at the filter club. The first Negroni I've had was at the fitler club and the bartender told me to let the ice dilute it a little and it made the Negroni delicious. The trophy room has bowling alleys, arcade games, and hoops on the first floor. There was also a table set up with Mediterranean snacks like hummus, kebabs, pita sandwiches etc. the second floor is where the pool table, ping pong, connect 4 are located. Having a ping pong table on the second floor is risky lol the ball kept falling down to the first floor. There's also a photo booth that we couldn't figure out the password to. The trophy room has old school leather furniture giving it an old money American vibe! I've always been impressed with the filter club. The staff works so hard there! The club is truly amazing and worth it.

Yelp
I was a guest along with 2 others on Friday night at Fitler Club for an event. When I approached the bar I was met with an attitude from Samantha your manager. Her demeanor was extremely rude and it made me feel uncomfortable. This wasn't my first time here, but it was for my boyfriend who's in the restaurant industry, and he couldn't understand the attitude as well. Safe to say we wouldn't return there again. I was very delighted to show him the place because I was interested in a membership but to be profiled soon as I walk into a place followed by her level of hospitality is not something I would want to be apart of. The fellow bartenders were very nice with amazing energy I must add. Please give Samantha some more training when dealing with customers because she literally pushed this one away.

Yelp
Beautiful space and hip concept. First time I visited I was most impressed by the bowling alley and movie theater. This said, the food has changed since it first opened. In my opinion, if the dining is not well above average, the incentive to join declines.

Yelp
A club designed to best serve work from home members. Extremely limited fitness classes, both in size and in frequency. If you are a WFH member it's the best deal in town. If you're not, you'll be subsidizing WFH members use of the space and amenities and will be left wondering why you didn't just wait to join Equinox when it opens in the coming months. Save yourself the non refundable $2,200 and invest your time and money elsewhere.

Yelp
An incredible place with great service. Stayed for a weekend & used their facilities for meetings & a social event. Great service & location. Vegetarian & vegan friendly.

Yelp
used the gym and there was sweat all over the machines. The food is subpar and the service is being horrible. I've caught multiple staff showing COVID symptoms but they are still tending to my food and drinks

Yelp
Our friends have a membership and brought us to the block party day! We had an amazing time with amazing food. We hope to be invited next year. The bathrooms are immaculate and modern. I've always enjoyed the Fitler club every time I have visited

Janice M.

Yelp
This club is not what it claims to be, " a place for young professionals to net work " This is a over priced gym. There was not 1 "net working " event. When I had a problem with my membership I was directed to 4 different team members before I was given a answer. You think they would value the members who keep the "over priced gym " a float. I would recommend joining planet fitness over this "club".
