Five Boroughs Pizza

Listen up people! If you’re ever in the downtown Des Plaines area and you’re looking for a good slice of pizza somewhere or some burgers with a side of fries and more, come to this place and stop looking everywhere else. Customer service always came first to these guys and their food in the area is second to none. They can make literally anything spicy and it’s an explosion of flavor. This isn’t just your normal pizza and burger joint.

I should've gotten a BoX of pep pizza instead of the $8 one slice. Will definitely be back here again! Never been to NY, so this is a nice bite of what its like to be there

As someone who lived in New York, this is the best NY style pizza I've had. Friendly staff along with fantastic service, it's a must go if you're craving a slice. Although, I do think the pricing is a bit high.

Absolute hidden gem! The pepperoni pizza was great! New York style pizza with a hint of classic Chicago tavern style mixed together. I've also had the Philly cheese, and Gyro burger. Both were equally delicious. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. The owners take real pride in what comes out of the kitchen and what is being served, and it sure does show. Definitely looking forward to being hungry again just so I can try the rest of the menu. If you are hungry this place is definitely worth a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Best NY style pizza you'll get in the Chicago area! I was very impressed!

I’ve gotten food from here twice now. First time was a big apple pizza for the family, second time was a slice of pepperoni pizza for lunch. The service was great, my toddler was really taken with the guy at the front and was hiding from him in the booths while we waited. I liked the food both times and will be back again. It is truly New York style which is thin, floppy and has a bit of grease. I like having a different style of pizza around here.

Today my family and I tried five boroughs, and it was awesome. The whole family loved the pizza. I have never had a new York style kind of pizza. All the places in the city that offer it or say they offer it, it was never good... and we fought with new York over pizza... so any way, if you want a great pizza and great customer service.

Went here for the first time the other day with my friend. The pizza was absolutely delicious but the boneless wings were out of this world. The wings were hand-sliced and breaded, and coated in home made sauce. I've never had boneless wings as good as these. Definitely gonna be my go-to spot from now on.
