Nice warm weather, wanted a burger w/o the hassel of cooking it, lol. And as always, Five Guys didn't disappoint.

I’ve visited this Five Guys location before with no issues—food was decent and service was fine. However, my visit today (5/3/25) was a completely different experience. I observed what I believe to be unsanitary practices: the employee was using the same gloves to handle multiple tasks—touching equipment, the fryer, and then directly handling my burger buns. At one point, he even took the buns off the grill to show another employee (a Spanish-speaking woman) how to toast them properly, then put them back on with the same gloves and continued using those gloves for other tasks. As someone with a high-risk pregnancy, this concerned me deeply. On top of that, after I raised concerns, the staff began speaking in Spanish about me, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I asked for a refund and left. To add, my grilled onions weren’t even grilled. It’s disappointing to experience tension and unprofessional behavior in an environment that should be welcoming to all. I won’t be returning to this location. Update: I look on my bank account 5/5/25 and I see that the owner reversed my refund after I never received the food and got a refund, so why did you reserve it…I watch my account constantly so you will be dealt with at a proper hour.

I went to five guys yesterday afternoon craving a burger. I go to five guys enough to understand how much they give in fries. I noticed that the person who gave me my fries gave me significantly less than usual enough to really only fill the cup.. I thought that was weird. I watched to see how much he would give the person next to me and noticed he gave them double in their cup with two scoops. When he saw me waiting he noticed confusion then proceeded to ask if I wanted more when he saw I was about to say something. It felt like it was done on purpose. I usually wouldn’t leave a review but it was the principle of it all. Truly disappointed. The cashier was lovely though but I instantly regretted tipping my change after that experience

Google
Good fries, great burger and tremendous shake. Living up to the name. That said it's kind of pricy. But if you don't mind spending $20 for a fast food burger, it's will worth the visit. And do try the shake, calories be damned.

Google
Very proper Five Guys. Everything is clean including the Restrooms. Very nice!

Staff is always so friendly and lovely. Good quality is great, and it's always fresh. Great music, too. I also love that there's an accessible control panel for the iced tea machine.

Google
The burger was great and it was empty so wait time was short but, they don’t give you the extra fries you’re used to. Ain’t no way I paid $6 for a little fry and they picked up some fries (one by one) with their hand and put it in the tray to dump into my bag. I watched them cause a lady just came back and complained. They said they put the fries I knew they was lying. It’s cool tho I just won’t be coming back I knew I should’ve got chipotle 🥲

Yelp
Always good service and your orders are always fresh. Five Guys can be a little pricey but the servings are very filling even the single burgers.

Yelp
I'm a few weeks late on writing this review. I didn't want the service to go unnoticed. I placed an order online 07/10/23 for a cheeseburger, bacon burger, Cajun fries, regular fries, and two milkshakes. Order pickup was for 7:30. I got there later than expected, around 7:50. I knew for sure that the fries were cold and the milkshakes were melting already. Nope! The burgers were ready and waiting. They made the fries and shakes to order. This was a relief. The staff was extremely polite as well.

Yelp
5 Guys is a great choice for burgers because they are delicious and usually in a convenient location. Went there for dinner and was in a rush but my food came out so quick! Everything was fresh and delicious. The cashier was also very pleasant. They have plenty of seating inside and some seating outside. This location is attached to MPG so parking can be a little tough but nothing too unbearable. I didn't get fries this time but I'm a huge fan of their fries and they always give you so many! If you want a quick and easy burger this is the place to go!

Yelp
Happy to see this Five Guys location over here! Think it's been opened at least since last summer (maybe before). This area is really changing up (in a good way) and adding lots of food options. Parking over here sucks though! I stopped in after the DC Beer fest last Saturday and needed something to eat, but not quite a burger so I opted for something a bit smaller, a kosher hot dog with jalapenos, green peppers, pickles, and hot sauce with a side of "little" cajun fries. It was about 9:30 on a Saturday night - wasn't too packed but a decent amount of customers were still around. Most, like myself, placed carry out orders. My food came out quickly and it was tasty. They were a bit skimpy on the fries. Yes I know I ordered the little fries, but sometimes they are generous and give more than the little cup - not this location!

Yelp
I will give this place 6 stars for being so good and healthy unlike McDonald's, they have fresh food, no freezer, and make everything from scratch, while their fries are real and McDonald's fries are cardboard

Yelp
I can't seem to find a burger that I absolutely love. Five Guys is Five Guys. They allow you to pick your toppings and they put two meats on the burgers. I am not sure if that is why I am always overwhelmed. You can't really taste the greatness because in my opinion and according to my taste buds, it's just too much. My son actually spit his burger up and said it tasted like beef or cow. Lol! It's obviously a cow and well that is when the littlest said, it's grass fed. Now I'm not sure if that is truth or lies but double meats make it too overwhelming. I can't eat a whole burger. We did get shakes and they are delicious. They better be for $5.00 a shake. No cherry on top but they do add whipped cream. The fries, honestly you can save your money and just get a burger. The large fries were way too much and I felt like a fat cow for ordering them with my burger. They are freshly cut but I'm not a fan. The Cajun ones are a little more tasty. The service was nice. The cashier was super friendly. This rating is a direct reflection of the service. That completes my Yelp of the day! As with beauty, taste and yelps are in the mouth of thy beholder. I must add, having the bathroom open allows for random customers to walk in and use the restroom. Just food for thought, but a restroom like the ones at Union Station might be better suited for this establishment. For example: Hanging a sign that says "for paying customers only" and having the code on the receipt. I did see people walk in and use the bathroom: ew.

Yelp
This Five Guys brought back my appetite for this place. I'm not sure if it's just the location but the other locations I visited in recent months burger was small as heck. I usually get the bacon burger and it's usually small in comparison to this location. My burger was juicy, fresh and was a very nice size like what I was used to before the other locations started robbed me out of a burger patty. If you're going to go to Five Guys, go to this one.

Yelp
They treat their own workers terribly, they cut their hours, single them out, and dont even appreciate their hard work. aswell as speak negatively about them behind their back trying to find more ways to make their work experience even worse enough to quit and never come back. terrible management but great coworkers! respect your workers and treat them fairly!! 1/10 experience, DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE THE MANAGEMENT ARE HORRIBLE! SHOP AT COLLEGE PARK INSTEAD! ~ P.S never even apply here no matter how bad you need the money. Sincerely, former employee.

They new staff was very welcoming. The food was great as usual and the restaurant was very clean! Great customer service will always win me over!

Yelp
For those already familiar with all the burger chains: This Five Guys is at least average and probably somewhat above. It's clean, has friendly service, plenty of seating, and outdoor tables when the weather is nice. If you're looking for a Five Guys, this location will measure up. If you're less familiar with Five Guys: the burgers are kind of like Shake Shack's... fresh beef, made-to-order, with two thin patties making one thick burger. I think I might slightly prefer Shake Shack's burgers, but it's close, while Five Guys wins the fry game hands down. For a burger and fries together, Five Guys comes out on top. They have great fries served in huge portions.

Yelp
First off, several of these reviews are bullshit. My brother manages a five guys and the meat is NOT rated F. That is an out right lie it should not be allowed on Yelp. That being said, five guys is the original Washington DC burger chain join. It's fresh delicious, the fries are twice cooked like boardwalk style and this particular location does a good job. Please ignore the other reviews from non-burger folk!

Yelp
Great customer and Ronal was super nice! My food was great the other staff was friendly as well!

Yelp
My boyfriend wanted to come here even though I told him the beef is rated F. We ordered some rated F little bacon burgers and the register had technical issues. That took a minute to resolve, and then the actual burgers took 20+ minutes to make even though it wasn't too busy. Five Guys fries are also bottom of the barrel. And only lunatics eat the free peanuts.

Yelp
Went in last night with a friend who was adamant about getting a burger from one of their favorite spots (not this location) and AGAIN, the young guy who is a muti-tasker was on point as usual, however, the rest of the staff were incompetent. The language barrier is beyond frustrating because they just squirt whatever they THINK u asked for on your sandwich and when you address it, like last night, the same female that messes up orders in Mezza next door was messing up orders last night and with much attitude because she couldn't get it right. I also witnessed touching of raw meat and then rushing over to do online orders and touching the bread and toppings with the same gloves AND then touching pork bacon as well with the same gloves on. Cross Contamination 1 on 1. It's beyond frustrating to address these issues and then to have the very same woman call me a name and speak negatively about my requests in spanish (which I am fluent in) to her co- workers who seem to gossip way too much instead of focusing on getting the orders right assuming that I do not speak or understand the language. It's insulting that this is taking place in a business that's fairly new to our community and that we patronize on a regular. I'm sure the owner of this location and/ or corporate would be highly disappointed in hearing that this is a norm for their business and not a good look ever.
