Five Guys

We’ve always been curious to try their burgers so we finally did. We ordered the little cheeseburger with one patty and went all the way with all the veggies, mushrooms and steak sauce. The burger was fine. Nothing bad but nothing memorable either. For the price, we were expecting bolder flavors. It seems the main appeal is the thicker patty and the ability to customize toppings rather than the taste itself. That said the free peanuts were a nice touch. Worth trying once if you’re curious but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.

Five Guys made it to my top 2 burgers of all time, right after Shake Shack. Super juicy patties, and I love that you can freely choose your toppings. We ordered two burgers, one hotdog, Cajun and regular fries, plus chocolate and coffee milkshakes with bacon — everything was solid. Some may find it pricey, but it’s definitely worth trying and deserves a spot on your top burger list. Free unlimited peanuts are a great bonus too — you can grab some while waiting, and they even give an extra bag when you collect your order. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

2nd time here for one of the top most delicious Burger! Very filling, must ry their Cajun Fries and notify them early if you want to share so they can split the burger into 2.

Good juicy burger. Not a fan of the fries with skin still on but still nice. *One thing to note if you haven't been there is that their junior burgers simply mean a single patty. I didn't realise and bought a cheeseburger which came with 2 patties and it was just too much for me given their patties are thicker than your typical McDonalds to begin with. Also you only need small fries for 2 people. It was $58 SGD for 2 cheeseburgers, 1 medium fries and 1 refillable coke. Would have saved had we known they were large portions by opting for junior burgers and 1 small fries as we threw away at least half the medium size fries.

Embrace the greasy sloppy burger! 1st time trying Five Guys in Singapore. Tasted the same as other countries. Consistent. Greasy. Rich, meaty, cheesy and we went heavy w tomatoes, mushroom, and lettuce toppings. One double patty cheese burger was enough to serve my wife and myself. For the meal set w ‘small’ fries, which is typical Five Guys style a mountain heap in the bag. And free flow drinks and peanuts. Hee-haw! Great every now and then. Now I gotta go detox for a week….

Typical Five Guys restaurant minus the barrels/carts of peanuts (SG I think is more sensitive about peanut allergies). I've had Five Guys in London, Hong Kong and Rome, and one thing I can say is that the food is very consistent. Burgers are very juicy served with overflowing fries. The price though, I feel, has become overly expensive. We only actually ate here so that my kids can try it out. We only ordered burgers / fries for 2 with drinks and the bill was S$80++...! more expensive than some of the meals we as a family of four in some nice restaurants. Also, my kids felt the burgers at Chic-Fil-A were much better. One other gripe I had, although we just tried to ignore it , was the old aunty they hired as staff who was cleaning the dining area. Any time an order number was called out, the aunty would also start shouting out the number in her very high pitch voice at full volume and she would not stop until the customer claimed their order. Initially it was cute and amusing, but this went on the entire time we were there for all the order numbers called out so it go very irritating very quickly.

The French fries 🍟 are among the best — skin-on and full of real potato flavor. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside perfect for anyone who truly loves the taste of potatoes. The price is on the higher side, but the portion is huge, so it’s great for sharing with companions 👍. Plus, there’s unlimited soft drink refills, which is a big win in this hot weather 🫰🏻. A great spot if you’re craving fries and Coke!

Bun a bit soggier than other branches, not worth the SGD you pay for. What’s worse is that the cashier - the lady just stares at you blankly and seemingly uninterested. If you hesitate one bit, she just punches in your order making the ordering process hostile if not constricting. She also screamed angrily when announcing the orders are ready. I have seen her do this not just to us but to everyone. 100% ruined the otherwise good burger that this branch sells. Management should seriously look into this because I think it’s been months since shes been doing this. On the brighter side, Jen was wonderful and helpful!
