Bryson and Chris were fantastic! They both were incredibly friendly and very welcoming to the bar. Bryson made the most amazing espresso martini and Chris didn’t sway us in the wrong direction with an excellent rose. Looking forward to the next visit!

Recently I took a swing evaluation lesson at the Lincoln Park location, and it was exactly what I needed to get my game on track. Lauren was knowledgeable, patient, and had a great way of explaining things in a way that actually made sense. We started with a quick discussion about my goals and challenges, then moved into analyzing my swing using video. It was eye-opening to see my swing from different angles, and Lauren pointed out a few key areas where I could improve. What I appreciated most was that the feedback was clear and actionable—small adjustments that made an immediate difference rather than an overwhelming list of things to change. By the end of the lesson, I felt like I had a much better understanding of what I was doing right and what needed work. I left with specific drills to practice and a renewed confidence in my swing. I’d definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking to improve their game, whether you’re a beginner or just need a fresh perspective on your mechanics.

Where do I start? Let's just say we had the honor of participating in a small group lesson with Lauren N. I walked into the lesson being the type of inexperienced golfer who cannot even make contact with the ball. Lauren was patient, knowledgeable and accommodating with her approach and made me feel comfortable and confident. You better believe that I will not only be back for another lesson, but feel as though it is only a matter of time before I am crushing it on a real course and becoming the female version of Tiger Woods. If 6/5 stars was an option -- Lauren deserves it. Cannot recommend her more.

Absolutely love the staff and facilities here. I've been coming since they've opened and it's the best 5 iron in the city by a mile. Staff is super friendly and will consistently go the extra mile for you. They're awesome from a hospitality perspective and will always make sure you're all set. Aaron is awesome while Michael knows what’s up from a customer service perspective. Phil really knows how to run this place

I had an incredible lesson with Golf Pro Lauren Niemiera at Five Iron Golf in Lincoln Park! What an expert. She broke down my swing, providing clear and actionable feedback that immediately made a difference. Lauren didn’t just focus on the mechanics; she also emphasized the mental side of the game, which boosted this golf rookie’s confidence. Her patience and encouragement throughout the session made the entire experience both enjoyable and effective. If you're serious about improving your golf game, book a lesson with Lauren. I’m pumped for our next lesson together!

Aside from the simulator tech/software, this place is average in every way. Service was sub-par (nearly non-existent), felt rushed and felt like we were an inconvenience as customers and we didn’t even get a full hour of sim time. They cut us almost 15 minutes short. More expensive than other places in the area and far worse in terms of service. 5$ bottomless wings were good but they are only bottomless if you chase down your server and “beg” for them to refill them. The mats and tees are trashed and not in good/playable condition, but i will say, the Trackman system is awesome. I’d go to this place only as a backup option if other places are booked up.

I have zero golf experience but still had fun at Five Iron Golf! I came with my brother in law who is a great golfer, a friend who is a novice, and myself and my husband who have zero experience. All of us enjoyed it, which I think says a lot about the space and 5 Iron overall! Even on a Sunday afternoon, it was lively with multiple groups enjoying simulators and some people hanging at the bar. Staff members made sure we were set up with clubs and instructed us on how to navigate the simulator. A server came to take drink and food orders making it super convenient. I'm terrible at golf, but it was still fun to try! Also, we brought our 1 year old and there was so much for him to look at and he loved running around the space!

This place is a ton of fun! Great for a group. We have little to no experience and still had a great time. They have a great deal (idk what day/times) where you can buy a bucket of beer or seltzers and get 30 mins free play. Overall really clean and fun. Will go back again!

Fun spot to have fun with friends, or just a really good simulator if you are looking to improve your game. I am not the best golfer so half the time we did a game where you are putting which was a lot of fun. Simulator works well, and staff is very informative and accommodating.

We had our son's 10th birthday party here this past weekend. It was a complete success. The food was delicious, the golf and game simulators were a ton of fun, and the staff (manager Phil and server Eva) were fantastic and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

We held an employee team building event at Five Iron Golf in Lincoln Park and it was awesome! We had 3 bays reserved - 2 for golf and 1 for other games. Golf was great, but the other games were so much fun. Throwing dodgeballs and ghosts was not something anyone expected. The service was amazing - thank you to Emily, Charlie, Anna, and Tom! The food and cocktails were excellent. And, the music and ambiance added to the overall feel. It was a great way to relax and hang out while building relationships.

Really fun time and great space for events. The technology is. I'll and there is plenty of space to play and hang out. The food is pretty good quality and they have a nice selection of draft beers and drinks. The golf games are very fun and membership pricing is reasonable. The location is great with plentiful parking and easy access. I really enjoyed the different golf games they had there and it was a very fun place to hang out. I can see it as a nice place to be particularly in the winter when the weather is rough and it gets dark earlier. I would I totally recommend this place as fun for a night out and also a place to hang during the daytime during off peak hours.

The Assistant General Manager Joe was attentive to me and my guests and really took care of us. So many times we go to other golf simulators and we are treated like another number. Joe made sure our food and drinks were brought out on time and was positive and passionate every interaction we had. Five Iron is lucky to have Joe and I will be a return customer now because of him.

Very new, clean and friendly staff. You need to reserve online and can reserve for 30, 60 or 90 minutes at time for the simulator. Great technology for the systems. There is also a bar to hang out at.

Racist hands down. lol how are all your bays reserved but no one's even in sight. We came to spend money something you guys look like you need. Once he saw my bf it was ok but then he saw me a brown person they're reserved. Since we're going to race town the little sweet boy was the one who told us this thanks! Missed out on great customers!! One star because that's the requirement!

This place rocks!!! Best 5i Chicago location because the employees are awesome and the food is stupid good. I lost my sh** when I tasted the fried chicken sliders last week. ILY guys

Awesome fun for a couples night. Of course I was competing with my bro, but the food was downright delicious. The sliders...slapped. And our host was awesome, he understood we knew nothing about golf and got us setup with this fun game that topped everything off well. Also the Old Fashioned is a hidden gem!

They have excellent tech and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to improve your game or have some fun with friends.

The general manager of this establishment is extremely unprofessional. I came here to enjoy a game not to have a manager in my personal bubble. The food took forever to come out and when it did it was disgusting, out of temperature and seemed to be spoiled. They shouldn't have been offering food in those condition. I came here because the reviews were excellent but I guess it's not true. I don't know what's going on but it's not what people say. Employees are inattentive since they're to busy playing in the sims themselves. Definitely not the same as the other 5 iron golfs what a shame. This location needs a new manager or just close it down.

Loved it!!!! My son and I stopped in just to take a peek and see the new facility. GIO was AMAZING showing us around and even gave us a free half hour and high end loaner clubs including lefties for my son to hit with. They have all kinds of options for play including swing video playback and stats. We will make 5 Iron a part of our regular activities from now on. Thanks again GIO!!!!
