Five Iron Golf

I had a swing evaluation with Coach Joe and he was great! I’m a beginner and he made everything way less intimidating. He gave me clear instructions and a couple of easy to remember drills to practice. The tech at Five Iron is also really helpful because it helps you see the difference each small change makes. I would recommend Coach Joe for beginners who are looking for someone who will explain things nicely without making things confusing. I could tell he has so much experience and has a ton of patience as a teacher. I was a little nervous beforehand but once we got started, he did a great job making the evaluation not scary at all. I also recommend Five Iron whether it’s to practice or just have a fun casual night out with friends.

My lesson with Joe was great! He quickly diagnosed the most major issues with my swing and gave me actionable feedback on how to correct them. After one session I already feel more confident and have a plan going forwards. Thanks Joe! I would highly recommend him to anyone regardless of skill level

I usually don’t leave reviews. But this place was outstanding! Starting with GM Phil, AGM Pat and servers Micheal and Phil who were very attentive and helpful in whatever we needed! My wife brought me here to celebrate my birthday with family. My first time ever golfing and Micheal helped us understand the game. Overall this place is top notch! Definitely coming back again!

Great experience. I rented a bay for 60 min to practice and dial in my Trackman numbers. Aaron was really helpful getting me setup and showing me how things work. He checked on me during the session to see if I needed anything and even provided water. 5 stars all around. Looked like a fun indoor setup too with a bar and plenty of space to hang out.

The staff here are top notch. Great customer service, above and beyond. Geo and Phil are highly attentive, friendly, and always set me up for a great experience. The technology here is great, but I come more for the experience, as I have found it better here than any other simulator business in Chicago and the US for that matter.

Had a great intro lesson swing lesson with Cole -- only my second time golfing and he made everything so easy to understand and the video system helped even more. Will definitely return, the lesson helped me avoid getting frustrated learning this new skill and wanted to keep coming back. Cole is a great teacher, highly recommend!

Thank you Geo and Bartender Cody for making my birthday so great. It’s our first time here and we WILL be back. We played golf, shuffleboard, darts, and the putting green. Thank you again. Such great customer service!

I have zero golf experience but still had fun at Five Iron Golf! I came with my brother in law who is a great golfer, a friend who is a novice, and myself and my husband who have zero experience. All of us enjoyed it, which I think says a lot about the space and 5 Iron overall! Even on a Sunday afternoon, it was lively with multiple groups enjoying simulators and some people hanging at the bar. Staff members made sure we were set up with clubs and instructed us on how to navigate the simulator. A server came to take drink and food orders making it super convenient. I'm terrible at golf, but it was still fun to try! Also, we brought our 1 year old and there was so much for him to look at and he loved running around the space!

This place is a ton of fun! Great for a group. We have little to no experience and still had a great time. They have a great deal (idk what day/times) where you can buy a bucket of beer or seltzers and get 30 mins free play. Overall really clean and fun. Will go back again!

Fun spot to have fun with friends, or just a really good simulator if you are looking to improve your game. I am not the best golfer so half the time we did a game where you are putting which was a lot of fun. Simulator works well, and staff is very informative and accommodating.

We had our son's 10th birthday party here this past weekend. It was a complete success. The food was delicious, the golf and game simulators were a ton of fun, and the staff (manager Phil and server Eva) were fantastic and super easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

We held an employee team building event at Five Iron Golf in Lincoln Park and it was awesome! We had 3 bays reserved - 2 for golf and 1 for other games. Golf was great, but the other games were so much fun. Throwing dodgeballs and ghosts was not something anyone expected. The service was amazing - thank you to Emily, Charlie, Anna, and Tom! The food and cocktails were excellent. And, the music and ambiance added to the overall feel. It was a great way to relax and hang out while building relationships.

Really fun time and great space for events. The technology is. I'll and there is plenty of space to play and hang out. The food is pretty good quality and they have a nice selection of draft beers and drinks. The golf games are very fun and membership pricing is reasonable. The location is great with plentiful parking and easy access. I really enjoyed the different golf games they had there and it was a very fun place to hang out. I can see it as a nice place to be particularly in the winter when the weather is rough and it gets dark earlier. I would I totally recommend this place as fun for a night out and also a place to hang during the daytime during off peak hours.

The Assistant General Manager Joe was attentive to me and my guests and really took care of us. So many times we go to other golf simulators and we are treated like another number. Joe made sure our food and drinks were brought out on time and was positive and passionate every interaction we had. Five Iron is lucky to have Joe and I will be a return customer now because of him.

Very new, clean and friendly staff. You need to reserve online and can reserve for 30, 60 or 90 minutes at time for the simulator. Great technology for the systems. There is also a bar to hang out at.

Racist hands down. lol how are all your bays reserved but no one's even in sight. We came to spend money something you guys look like you need. Once he saw my bf it was ok but then he saw me a brown person they're reserved. Since we're going to race town the little sweet boy was the one who told us this thanks! Missed out on great customers!! One star because that's the requirement!

This place rocks!!! Best 5i Chicago location because the employees are awesome and the food is stupid good. I lost my sh** when I tasted the fried chicken sliders last week. ILY guys

Awesome fun for a couples night. Of course I was competing with my bro, but the food was downright delicious. The sliders...slapped. And our host was awesome, he understood we knew nothing about golf and got us setup with this fun game that topped everything off well. Also the Old Fashioned is a hidden gem!

They have excellent tech and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to improve your game or have some fun with friends.

The general manager of this establishment is extremely unprofessional. I came here to enjoy a game not to have a manager in my personal bubble. The food took forever to come out and when it did it was disgusting, out of temperature and seemed to be spoiled. They shouldn't have been offering food in those condition. I came here because the reviews were excellent but I guess it's not true. I don't know what's going on but it's not what people say. Employees are inattentive since they're to busy playing in the sims themselves. Definitely not the same as the other 5 iron golfs what a shame. This location needs a new manager or just close it down.

Loved it!!!! My son and I stopped in just to take a peek and see the new facility. GIO was AMAZING showing us around and even gave us a free half hour and high end loaner clubs including lefties for my son to hit with. They have all kinds of options for play including swing video playback and stats. We will make 5 Iron a part of our regular activities from now on. Thanks again GIO!!!!
