Five Little Pigs

Lovely dinner here last night with a friend. Portion sizes were generous but not too much allowing us to enjoy a full three course meal without overindulging. We had the scotch egg and the bavette steak. Both of which were lovely and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere and perfect for smaller groups. Servers were attentive but not overbearing. We got served by a friendly and polite waitress. Overall, a great place for a date night or higher end dining. No complaints from us!

We had a wonderful lunch at this lovely bistro-style restaurant. Wide range of interesting and tasty starters and mains, with generous portions. Sharing dishes is a great way to sample the fine cooking. Some nice wines by the glass. Great friendly service, attentive but not intrusive.

Absolutely lovely. We came for lunch yesterday and everything was perfect. So happy to have interesting vegetarian food and great alcohol free cocktails.I have no idea what spare bed beetroot is but it was delicious . Also the bread board was generous and perfect. The service was charming and we had a window seat to watch the world go by. Wish I lived closer…

I organised our class parent Christmas drinks at Five Little Pigs and it was excellent! Aimee was really helpful and accommodating of various dietary requirements and made the booking process easy. The food (canapés) and drinks were exquisite! The servers were helpful and on point! Thank you so much Five Little Pigs! Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great lunch here yesterday. Charming service, cosy interior and a delicious meal. Especially liked the extra choice for vegetarians, although I am not one myself. The starters were particularly good - the scotch egg (a speciality) was mouth-wateringly good. I think the Confit Beetroot was the best main course we had. The chef knows his stuff.

Great choices and decent portions. Visited with my daughter. We had three small plates and two side dishes. We didn’t quite finish the main courses as we had to have dessert! Special mention for the octopus, a very hard dish to cook, as it’s very easy to overcook. Each dish was delicious and really enjoyed them. Dessert was a really nice blackberry parfait. It’s not budget food if you have a decent amount, but you pay for quality. Really nice serving staff, good communicators. Toilets very well appointed and clean. Ps even on a Wednesday night it was pretty full, worth booking.

What a fabulous meal we had here, easily one of the best I had had in a long time! Nice starters, a cracker of a main (the trout on broad bean puree, with a parsnip rosti, and dill velouté). The deserts were divine. The staff were great - knowledgeable but not intrusive. My only slight niggle (and bit of constructive feedback) was that the sea bass ceviche dish was a tad on the stingy side (though absolutely delicious), and the delicious pear cake was rather lacking in toffee sauce. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for your dedication and ambition!

I couldn't be happier with this restaurant. Firstly the food was fantastic - a variety of well structured dishes, exploding with just the right taste. Secondly, their mocktail range was perfect - like their food they've taken care to provide variety, and what I tried was excellent. We were early diners - 5pm into a near empty restaurant - but it didn't feel empty. And by the time we left it sure wasn't. At all times it felt both luxurious and casual. The service was great. A shout out to the waitress that was on for us tonight - no hovering but always on hand, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Major marks for actually being able to take payment when we asked for the bill - too many places leave you waiting! I'm not from the area but I wish I was - I would done again!
