How to Eat Your Way Through Wisconsin’s Best Supper Clubs

"Once a pharmacy, and then a neighborhood tavern and piano bar, the Five O’Clock became a steakhouse in 1946. Stepping inside its doors is like entering a time capsule decorated with black and white photos—one that serves aged steaks cooked with a famously secret char sauce that the owners say creates the perfect outer crust."

Unreal steakhouse with very good steaks and ribs and shrimp scampi, but an insanely classic room.

Google
Amazing first experience dining yesterday. The food was honestly astounding - the shrimp were the largest juiciest I’ve ever had. The Thai shrimp app was super. You start out your dining experience with complementary salad, pickled veggies tray and warm bread and butter. I wish I would’ve caught our waitresses name - she was also great. They valet park your vehicle which is nice because honestly and surprisingly this place is located in a pretty rough area.

Love this steakhouse. I'm a returning customer and brought my parents here for the 1st time and they loved it as well. The waitress was very outgoing and very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Drinks were great and just overall a great experience. I had the bacon wrapped filet and it was cooked perfectly. We also had the shrimp scampi which was also fantastic, shrimp cooked perfectly. Also a wonderful wine selection. Definitely recommend.

Food was excellent as always. Staff members are all friendly and welcoming it is never an issue at this establishment. Live music is always a great touch when dining in here on a Saturday night. This is a highly recommended place to dine at for a date, family, and friends. One of the many reasons we come back over and over again.

Google
Not in the greatest of areas but my oh my when you step through the doors you are taken back in time to a proper dining experience! The interior is absolutely awesome, the staff are first class, from the door man to the servers. We had the porterhouse and it was phenomenal, the lady even brought us a slice of prime rib(after much begging 😂) and omg, it was out of this world! Absolutely amazing experience on our trip from from England, Nashville next!

Google
The cocktails were good, I enjoyed our server and my shrimp scampi was delicious BUT the steaks that were ordered were definitely disappointing considering our $400+ tab/3 people. We expected an elevated dining experience and we're let down after reading the reviews. Atmosphere was great but we won't be returning.

Stopped in on Valentine’s Day and as always treated like royalty! This team always takes great care of their guests! Best crab cakes I have ever had. Steaks were amazing along with the baked potato and green beans. We will be back again!

Always enjoy celebrating special events at 5 O'Clock Steakhouse! Great non-alcoholic drinks and martinis! Enjoyed the peaches and cream and pomegranate martini. Table side salads, relish tray and bread is a great start to the meal. We had filets, New York strip and the prime rib. All were delicious! The Tiramisu for dessert was a great way to end the evening!

Google
This is a really fun old-school dining experience in downtown Milwaukee. This institution is holding on a a somewhat rough looking neighborhood. The service at the bar is very good…although their bourbon pricing is a little suspect. The dinner service is good if a little bit dated. The steaks are of decent quality, although they can be a little thin and cooked over the desired temperature. The sides are executed well as are the appetizers. The sides are served family style. This isn’t the best steakhouse in Milwaukee, but it compares well with other supper clubs if you account for the nostalgic ambience. Desserts were good, but the serving sizes varied quite a bit person to person.

Yelp
Old school classic in Milwaukee. This is what we all wish we could find in the big cities on the coasts. The place is straight out of the 40s and 50s and feels just as vibrant as it must have then. I'd describe it as an old school Jersey italian steakhouse without the italian aspect. Don't know how else to describe it but for those who get around that should make sense. The service and hosting is over the top. The food is excellent. The prices are so low you feel like it's a flashback to 2010. The prime rib was one of the handful of the best I've had anywhere. The Christmas decorations up year round to the doorman who packs heat lends to its charm. This is a run, don't walk stop if you can make the time to drop in.

Yelp
Almost everything here was BLAND. Hospital food bland. Five O'Clock Steakhouse has been around since 1946 and if you've been to Durant's in Phoenix, it's got that old school feel. Red everywhere, decor, carpet, lighting. It's won numerous awards and has been featured on Food Network and Travel Channel. Every host and server we encountered was exceptionally friendly. Made you feel welcome. The only food item I truly enjoyed was the French Onion Soup covered in Gruyere cheese. Steak was beautifully charred on the outside, it's their signature way of cooking it as explained by the waitress. It was a perfect Medium on the inside so I couldn't wait to taste it. Unfortunately, the flavor wasn't there. It lacked seasoning. The steak is served on a plate with AuJus and sauteed mushrooms. It was very busy so it's very popular but not a place I'd a return to. It is rated #45 on the list I'm following for the top 50 Steakhouses in the United States. I've been to a third so far and I wonder how this one made that list.

Yelp
Im not going to lie I was pretty disappointed with this place. We had heard it was good from several people and we ordered a ton of different appetizers and entrees. The bacon wasn't very flavorful, the salads were bland, the best appetizers were the fries and bread. I will say the steak itself was very good, they drown it in sauce which I'm not personally a fan of. Regardless it was delicious. The service was a bit hectic. They have two people helping larger parties, which felt a bit overkill. If you're coming in for a meal here, I'd say the steak is a safe play. The rest of the menu is a toss up. Cheers!

Yelp
Traditional Wisconsin Supper Club vibe and I went during the holidays so it was also decorated nicely. Food and service were spectacular. Couldn't recommend it more. Only drawback is that it's in the hood but they have valet parking.

Yelp
A Wisconsin supper club with an elegant flair. While the interior is old school, it's low lighting and warm, rich colors give a relaxing and cozy feel. The bartender and waiter we had were extremely knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. Orders are placed at the bar, so by the time you sit down your shareables are well on their way. Everything here is absolutely incredible and generously portioned. Be prepared to spend a little bit more than usual here, but be assured that it's worth it! If you are in the mood for a good steak or looking for a top notch steakhouse, this place is it!

Yelp
Five O'Clock has the best steaks in Milwaukee. The quintessential urban supper club, Five O'Clock hasn't changed for decades, except for the pricing. Five O'Clock has Chicago pricing. Expect to pay a load. Our bill for three entrees, three sides, four cocktails, and a mediocre bottle of wine, came to $380 with tip. That's a lot of moolah in Wisconsin. Everything was great, including service, but Five O'Clock has become a special occasion restaurant. I used to dine there twice a month. That's a vestige of the past. If you love red meat, Five O'Clock is the place to go, but be prepared to pay for the experience.

Yelp
A great dining experience! The minute you enter, you feel like you're stepping back in time. We arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately sat in the bar, which is part of their method. The drinks were stiff and the service fast and friendly. We ordered our food at the bar table. Once at our table, we had salad and bread. Our food arrived soon and was quite good. Our waitress was fast, friendly and accurate with the orders. Overall, very glad we went. If in town again, I'd return. My review is a rounded up 5 stars but would do 4.5 if possible. While the food was good, my steak wasn't the best ever. It's still better than anything you'd get at a chain.

Yelp
THE place for steaks in Milwaukee. Old school supper club that has been around since 1946! That's right, over 75 years and running! A landmark restaurant in Milwaukee. As soon as you walk in, you are transported back in time to the classic Wisconsin supper club scene, with wood paneled walls and old pictures hanging around a massive bar. The hostess will tell you to grab a cocktail at said bar and order your food from there as well. We did as we were told, and we ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered probably the best sidecar I've ever had. Once you have ordered your dinner and saddled up with the bartender, your waiter will take you to your table where a bowl of salad, a relish tray and warm bread await you. Don't gorge too much on the salad and bread however, because when the steak you ordered comes out, you will regret it! We ordered a porterhouse and shared it between the two of us, and I'm glad we did! It was massive and probably the best steak I've ever eaten. They cook it just right, medium rare, and a little charred on the outside. It was incredibly tender and juicy. We told the waitress it was our anniversary, and she comped us a slice of Key lime pie, which was also incredible. To top it off, we ordered a dessert drink, a Brandy Alexander, a favor of ours at any supper club we visit. It was very boozy! A nice way to end an incredible meal and experience. It's not cheap but I didn't feel the prices were outrageous either for what you get. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the bar, and there is additional seating upstairs in the Alley Cat Lounge. A gem of a restaurant, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere, drinks and food can't be beat. A must visit for anyone in the Milwaukee area!

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my bday with my whole family and my boyfriend's family. We had a huge group, which is hard to accommodate but they did amazing! Our service was impeccable. They were on top of water refills, cocktails and food service was paced well. I had read reviews that people felt rushed and I was worried about that but we didn't experience that at all. My boyfriend and I split the filet and the prime rib. They were massive and their prep was so good! The creamy parm dressing was also something to mention! We also got a side of onion rings and bacon. Not pictured were the other apps our table shared: crab stuffed mushroom caps, calamari and shrimp cocktail!

Yelp
Always classic & amazing. Large portions done well. Super friendly service & just an all around fun evening.

Yelp
Great place for steaks. Had a delicious bone filet. Couldn't be happier with our server, she was amazing. Bar tender was great, made a killer old fashioned. Quirky fun atm

Yelp
This is probably one of our top 3 steakhouses in the area. The outside isn't much to look at and there's free valet parking if you're nervous about parking on the street. Usually, they take your order at the bar so by the time you're seated, you have your salad there waiting for you. However, on this visit, we were seated right away. We were given bread, salad and relish tray pretty quickly. All delicious - crusty, warm bread (with ice cold butter so a little tough to cut), normal relish tray, and the salad is a good sized portion with good dressing options. We tend to get the parmesan peppercorn and greek. The French onion soup is to notch - good flavor without being too salty. The filets were cooked perfectly and they were amazingly tender. The jus and mushrooms are a perfect complement. Aside from the slightly overcooked onion rings and the pricey rail old fashioned, it was a nice dinner. Service was great and very quick and efficient. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Our first time at a Wisconsin supper club/steakhouse. Kristi was an ABSOLUTELY fantastic server. She greeted us within seconds and explained how everything worked there. We started off with two delicious cocktails, two seafood apps, and the fantastic salad, homemade dressings, bread, & relish tray! My partner and I shared a porterhouse (there is a $12 plate fee which was fine for us and the server did mention it in case that would be a hindrance to someone) and we added bleu cheese to it. The medium rare steak with the crusty outside was absolutely perfect. We finished the meal with another round of delicious cocktails & a complimentary piece of key lime pie for our anniversary. I loved the vibes of the place and as we walked out there was live music. I also appreciate that the GM (an assumption) stopped by to check on us. I truly cannot wait to get back to town so we can dine here again- it was a fantastic end to our vacation.

Yelp
This was my first experience at a true Wisconsin Supper Club and I cannot say enough good things about this place. We started at the front bar, having a cocktail and placing our order for dinner there. They were a little slow on drinks there but the vibe was lively and classic which was fun to see. We all ordered French onion soup, petit filets, crab Mac and cheese to share and asparagus and mashed potatoes to share. Upon arriving at our table, they provided salad with three dressing options that we had picked when ordering, and bread service. Our server recommended trying the bread with butter and honey, and it was delicious! Then our French onion soup arrived and it was amazing. Hot, rich, flavorful with a solid cheese melt. I ate every last spoonful of this soup! Then our steaks came, looking beautifully cooked with au jus and mushrooms and had amazing flavor. I didn't anticipate eating much of the Mac n cheese but that was also incredible, providing a nice contrast to the steak with incredible flavor. Our dinner may have been pricier than I usually do but it was all amazing food and the experience was worth it. I'd highly recommend everyone give it a try!

Yelp
This is still definitely the best steakhouse in Milwaukee. The steak is elevated to another level. They use super high quality beef and the temperature is always perfect. I got the bone in rib-eye this time and it was outstanding. Super flavorful and perfectly cooked. The cheesy bread is incredible. We ordered a bit to much and I brought it up for a large family gathering and everyone loved it. The lobster Mac and cheese is phenomenal as well. It is very expensive but worth it 100% of the time!

Yelp
I went here with work colleagues and we had a great time. They seat you at the bar, where we had prompt attention and recs from the bartender. Our head server and incredibly friendly Angelina checked in on us, gave us a rundown of the menu, and took our order from our bar seats as we closed out and finished our drinks. We shared the fries, creamed spinach, and crab cakes. The spinach and cakes were my personal favorites. I also had a bone-in petite filet which was cooked perfectly. The food was all very good, perhaps a little pricey considering the ambiance is more quirk than elegance, but this place is definitely an MKE institution and it was a great supper club style experience. It was a great place for a group dinner, and I would go again.
google avatar

Julianna D.

Yelp
I love supper clubs and was taken here for my birthday dinner. Service and drinks were great. Old school drinks, old school vibe. So I did like it a lot. But: The place was extremely noisy - the ambiance definitely didn't match the prices. Again, drinks were great. The food was ok - a bit salty and dredged in too much sauce. So maybe this place is more hype than substance? I love supper clubs and I have had better steak, etc. For me, as a woman, it was also not the best location. While I was on a date and not with a group of women, it is not a place I would like to park at.

Yelp
Everyone in my party of 8 loved their dinner at five o'clock. The service was amazing and had the real supper club vibe which was awesome. All of our steaks were excellent, as long as you like crust on your steak you will be happy!

Yelp
Another wonderful experience at Five O'Clock Steakhouse. Came here for my birthday dinner and I'm so glad I did. I continue to love everything about this place. The ambiance, service, drinks, food. There are not many places that make you feel comfortable, make delicious food, and take you back in time. I'll keep returning. Keep being awesome, Five O'Clock!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of our favorite supper clubs! It's our go to date night spot for any type of special occasion. We were there last month to celebrate our engagement, and we felt so special! Our server was amazing, and the manager stopped by to congratulate us. Our food was unbelievable- as always! I couldn't decide between two martinis, so they made me a custom one: a chocolate raspberry espresso martini I still think about that martini and can't wait to go back for another one!
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
Have been to Five O'Clock Steakhouse a couple of times now and it does not disappoint. It has a supper club vibe - which means good environment and A LOT of food. They start you with salad and bread. There are a lot of different appetizers and sides to choose from. We started with the mashed potatoes and the bacon sticks wick were both delicious. I ordered the prime rib which they have Fridays and Saturdays. The prime rib single cut was great and HUGE. I had plenty of leftovers to take home. We ended with key lime pie and it was delicious. Definitely recommend for a date night!

Yelp
We came on time for our reservation but still had to wait at the bar for our table to be ready; most likely a skeem to make more money because who sits at a bar without ordering a drink. They have street parking if you're lucky enough to find one on a busy night. Otherwise, they do have their own parking lot that's only used for valet; another skeem to take more of your money because you'll probably end up tipping the valet guy. Atmosphere was nice, if you like that old style mafia ambience. Service was good. The food was just okay, nothing amazing. My husband didn't like the flavor of the steak, it had a badly burnt pan taste. For the money we spent, our taste buds prefer Ward's, better appetizers and steaks. Overall, it was nice to try once. Would we go back? Probably not.

Yelp
We were a group of 5 on New Year's Eve- fantastic!!! Service, Food, employees in general super friendly with food deliciousness at the top! We are from Illinois, my son and daughter in law's favorite restaurant and I see why! Definitely a "Special Occasion " place to dine '

Yelp
My dad has been in Milwaukee for the last month for a stem cell transplant. He recently rang the bell and is cancer free so it was time to celebrate. All he wanted was steak. I stumbled upon Five O'Clock Steakhouse, and it looked perfect. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect! Drinks were great, food was amazing, and our server went above and beyond. After finding out while we were there she asked more about his story, offered words of encouragement, and then brought him Key Lime Pie to celebrate. It was unexpected, but so thoughtful! My dad really loved the ambiance as well. He kept mentioning how much his late father would have enjoyed that place. You won't be disappointed if you stop in!

Mark M.

Yelp
Made a reservation, traveling by myself. Haven't had a real QUALITY steak dinner in some time. Wanted to bring a special bottle of wine...until I found out corkage fee is $40!! I have eaten @ steak houses from coast to coast, never heard of fee that high. And after reading a number of other Yelp reviews which questioned meat quality of an expensive Filet Mignon dinner, I cancelled my reservation. So I DID NOT eat there...just reticent about spending $100+ on a dinner, where I would be forced to buy THEIR wine of unknown providence @ whatever their per-glass fee is. Maybe I'm passing up a potentially great dinner...or maybe I would leave saying "I spent $100 ON THAT?!? Guess we'll never know.
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
One of my favorite steakhouse/supper clubs in the state. The decor never changes, the service is always fantastic. The way they make their steaks is so tasty. Go with lots of people so you can get multiple sides. Love the ice cream drinks too!
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
Drinks were great. Service was great. Ambiance a bit dated but it's a steak house so that happens. So, why the two star rating? NY strip, while cooked properly medium rare, was charred so bad that it was all I could taste. I'd give the place another shot but would definitely not pick that cut again, as everyone else in our party had steaks cooked properly and delicious.

James B.

Yelp
Not like I remembered from 30 years ago. The service was poor, we had issues with a cocktail and food, they refused to do anything. Normal restaurants if you have a bad drink or meal will try to make it right and comp that meal, not here. They convey they are high and mighty and if you don't like it, that's all you, not them. Overrated and over priced. Too much hype and stuck in legacy that was good many years ago and no longer. Two of the four people in our group didn't eat their meals, that says something. Our group of four all said it wasn't worth it and we would never go back. There are other places with more flavorful food for less money. I would recommend Carnevor or The Union House in Genesee Depot is a long time staple super club type place with really good food and great service.
google avatar

Beca M.

Yelp
We loved 5 O'Clock Steakhouse! The service was very good and our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations. The drink menu is extensive and it's an experience watching the bartenders make the fancier drinks. Our drinks were delicious and my key lime pie martini was on point and tasted exactly like the pie. Our food came out quickly and make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because they require it! Our appetizers were the mushrooms and the Thai shrimp and both were amazing! You also get complimentary bread, salad, and relish tray. Steaks were cooked to perfection and we got extra mushrooms. Overall a superb experience and if you are looking for a great high end steak house I highly recommend!

Lindsey M.

Yelp
Atmosphere is very cool - very retro supper club vibe. Food is definitely not worth the price, prime rib was very undercooked and service was not great (we had to wait a very long time for drinks). Since this place is very restricted on reservations only, you'd think the place would be properly staffed.
google avatar

Gilbert T.

Yelp
I'm not a big steak person however this place is amazing. The service was very nice and the ambiance was priceless, I'll definitely go back.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
There's a reason this is voted the best steakhouse in WI! From the moment you valet your car to the time you finish your meal, the experience is unmatched! This is my third time visiting and I look forward to many more! So glad this gem of a restaurant still exists!

Yelp
My fiance took me here recently for my first supper club experience. It looks like an old timey kind of club inside and out. One of those places known for their fancy food without looking overly fancy. We started with a drink at the bar - I did a pomegranate martini, and my fiance had an old fashioned. Both were great, and strong. Our server came up and explained how things go, told us the specials, and gave recommendations when I explained I was in between a few choices. We placed our orders and were taken to our table shortly after. The entire place is pretty dim-lit, like most steakhouses. There was a performer singing in the other room by the end of our stay. I ordered the surf and turf - lobster tail and filet. My fiance got the ribeye and French onion soup. We shared the crab Mac and cheese. Breadsticks, honey, salad, and a relish plate was complimentary. Our server suggested a mixture of their Greek dressing and ranch... Soooo good! The French onion was good, plenty of cheese and onions. The broth has great flavor. My favorite part was probably the crab Mac and cheese. It's delicious without being overly fishy as some can be. My fiance isn't big on seafood and he loved it. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. I am not big on charred steaks but these were not too heavy on the charred flavor. I had a drink on the specials menu - Grecian Delight. Wow, it was incredible! Very refreshing. Our server told us that they use herbs and ingredients from their own garden. This drink included some of those - fresh oregano and mint. I also got a tiramisu martini because we were too full to get dessert. It was the perfect substitution. Next time, I really want to save room for the cherries jubilee dessert! Sounds amazing. We definitely had take home boxes, considering we ordered a lot, and the servings are big. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. I can't wit to go back!

Yelp
Hands down the best steakhouse in MKE. The food is phenomenal at this steakhouse. The rib eye was very juicy and flavorful. The cream of spinach and mashed potatoes were delicious and not too heavy. The little things like the bread and the salad makes the whole experience terrific. Overall, this will be my favorite for a nice steak dinner. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The owner came over to check on our experience.

Yelp
Six of us ( Wife, my adult kids and their spouses) frequently do the "Supper Club" experience. We were excited about adding this one We started at the bar walking in at 6pm for an hour of cocktails. Both the brandy and bourbon Old-fashioneds were good. There was not a set rule as some muddled and others didn't. Steaks were excellent. There were a few issues but overall we really enjoyed our meal and the time together.
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
Love the old school vibes. As always, the service is/was outstanding and the food was phenomenal. There isn't anything we'd change. The Baked French Onion is so fantastic with a rich, luscious, broth that truly puts others to shame. Our Rib-eye and Bone-in tenderloin were perfectly seasoned and cooked to requested temp. The crab legs were succulent and sweet. Do yourself a favor when you come here: don't worry about cost. If you are there, do it the right way and don't say no to anything.

Steven G.

Yelp
Awesome unique experience with great service and even better food! If ever in the Milwaukee area this is a must visit if you want a top end steak.

Yelp
The service the food is amazing 3rd year for our anniversary and my wife and I love this place

Yelp
My husband requested a great steak place for a celebratory dinner last week. We'd heard great things about Five O'Clock. We had an early reservation and we were seated immediately. We ordered cocktails and then asked the waiter if we could order an appetizer to eat while we had our drinks. He informed us that we needed to order our entire meal at the same time, but he would be sure to space our the courses for us. After a few minutes, we ordered an appetizer, our entrees, and side dishes. Within a few minutes, our salad (covered in plastic wrap) arrived along with some bread, honey, and a relish tray. We asked about our appetizer, and he told us it was coming next. While we were eating our salad, our appetizer arrived. We pushed our salads aside and started eating our appetizer. We were still eating that when our entrees arrived. This just seemed so rushed and out of order. We were very disappointed that we couldn't enjoy a more leisurely meal. Our steaks were divine. Everything else was just ok. The additional cost of the Oscar option for our steaks seemed like a waste. The calamari was no better than much lower quality restaurants and arrived with just one small cup of marinara. We won't hurry back. But if you do decide to go, enjoy your cocktail and just order a nice steak.

Yelp
It wasn't a good experience - I let management know. Service was sub par and the food came out cold They were not so busy that it got cold I sent my steak back and it came back not much better. The flavor the next day was good once I heated it up. I've been to many fine restaurants - one recently in fact where we got our steaks proper temperature and hot Coming to 5 O'clock was a huge disappointment. We won't be back -

Yelp
This review should have been shared over a year ago. A very dear friend and extended family member was losing his battle with Stage IV Liver Cancer. Even though his docs advised against it, he wanted one last big meal from the Five O'Clock Steakhouse. His wife contacted them, asking if they could bring him in. While you were willing, his condition was worsening and made it impossible. I contacted your team about doing a carryout. At first, they explained their food didn't carryout all that well and offered to sell the raw products with directions on how to properly prepare them. I explained his condition and location, with no way to prepare the food. We were at the Cancer Hospital at Froedtert and it didn't look like he'd be going home again. I'm sorry, I don't remember her name, but a young lady took the order for rib eyes, baked potatoes, salads, asparagus and a chocolate dessert fit for the Gods. They had it all packaged up beautifully and in fact, helped me pack it into a specially made suitcase. To avoid problems with his medial team, I smuggled it into his hospital room. The salads were terrific. I'm not sure what you do to your dressings but they're the best I've ever tasted. The steaks were beyond perfect. Tender, juicy, smothered in mushrooms. Claiming it was phenomenal would be an understatement. The potato as always amazing. The dessert.... The dessert was wonderful. None of us had a dessert that rich in years. I can't thank the staff for the care they took, putting our last meal together. The food was wonderful and I cannot possibly say enough great things about the meal.

Yelp
This storied place was owned by the Coerper (sp?) family and the chef in those days long ago was Bobbie C a friend long missed as last I knew he was in St Louis. This is a place to experience and the new ownership has taken it effectively to new levels I must date this recommendation a few years back when for five years I may have opened the door of the new Marriott or Westin for you in downtown Milwaukee. As a doorman for the first five years there 2013 to 2018 i sent many guests here for a meal. Those sent here always brought back news of what I am here to tell you. Yeah it is in an out of the way place but it will be a meal you will never fotget. Just do it! Cheers it is always Five O Clock here

Yelp
Great food, outstanding service and a nostalgic steakhouse atmosphere. Everything about this place is 5 stars. Had the ribeye along with Wasabi mashed and asparagus. Started with an Old Fashioned and finished with a glass of Duckhorn. Couldn't have been better.

Yelp
The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star was the prices, I thought they seemed steep but everything was delicious! I loved the aesthetic and one problem you won't have is having too little food, every steak comes with 3 courses, a self serve salad, bread and the meal! We went when there was live music which was a ton of fun! I can't wait to go back, but because of the prices I may have to wait a bit longer than I'd like

Yelp
Overdue review from May 2018. Had a wedding reception in Milwaukee, and the night before, we met up with some family that live in the area. They took us to Five O'Clock, and it was a great choice. The menu had plenty of options, including seafood! I loved my entree, it was so much food. Whenever we stay in WI, we always try to experience a supper club!

Yelp
My favorite place for steak. Can't beat the atmosphere and the service. Must have is the shrimp scampi appetizer.

Yelp
Good as it gets for a STEAK !! However these old steak houses are just getting crazy with prices. It's gonna be real hard to take your family there and not spend 450 dollars. For 2 I spent 180.00 drinks and big steaks and dessert. So there it is in complete honesty it was worth the night out with my doll face. 4 stars

Yelp
People like to describe this rundown restaurant quirky and old school-- to me it is way past its prime and over- rated-- maybe the steaks still measure up but the interior and unsafe neighborhood are a pass for me
