Casual spot for delicious Chinese food. Big portions, a pretty good value for the price. Dishes came out fast and steaming hot. Don’t sleep on the mapo tofu - packed with flavor and all the spices, a crowd favorite. Drenched the extra sauce in everything. The others standout dishes that we got were the sizzle steak, pork and tofu, and the green beans. They have a few Thai dishes as well, the green curry was quite heavy on the coconut milk. Looking forward to trying some of their noodle dishes next time. A great option for tasty Chinese food in Boulder!

If you’re looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience in Boulder, this place is a hidden gem! I’ve had the pleasure of trying several dishes here, but my favorites are definitely the Steamed Whole Fish, the Beef Brisket & Tendon Hotpot, and Spicy Chicken (bone). The service is also worth mentioning—it’s always warm and attentive. The staff makes you feel welcome and is more than happy to offer recommendations or customize your order to suit your preferences. It’s clear they genuinely care about providing a great dining experience. Overall, this restaurant has become my go-to spot for high-quality Chinese food in Boulder. If you’re in the area and crave something authentic, don’t miss out on this place!

Five Spice is a place we come back frequently. It has a few dishes we order almost every time, such as scallion pancake, basil eggplant, beef brisket & tendon hotpot, etc. We’d recommend Five Spice if you’re looking for a nice Chinese Restaurant in the Boulder.

I ordered the noodles and the braised beef brisket pot, and both were absolutely delicious! The noodles were perfectly chewy with a flavorful broth that felt warm and comforting. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with fresh vegetables that balanced the dish really well. The portions were generous, and the food came out quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The restaurant is clean and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely come back again! 🌟

We absolutely love dining here! Mos of their dishes are great, but we loves especially can't get enough of the Mapo Tofu and Combination Noodle Soup! On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to help with recommendations. Highly recommend!

This place is great, I wish I would have come upon it sooner. Huge menu, it’s always hard to decide what to get (in a good way). Drunken noodles and pan seared tofu were both really good and generous portions!
