Great decor and everyone is friendly, including the owner/bartender and the patrons! Great live music too, tonight was this reggae/funk band called FNK, people were dancing.

Nice North County tasting room with an interesting Vegas theme, outdoor seating and good live music. Good beer and great Peruvian food at a reasonable price. Try the Ribeye Saltado and the Shrimp Chaufas (Peruvian Fried rice). Both are great.

Wow! I'm really glad we found this place. Came on a Saturday afternoon, and it was very quiet, but I'm sure it gets busy in the evening when the music starts. It's so hard to find a decent stout, which my wife loves, and they have a German chocolate cake stout that's delicious. I had the Hefeweizen and it was awesome. Can't wait to come back again and try their other beers.

Really cool Casino themed brewery. Love the "Dealer" bar area and service was quick and delightful. They have a variety of entertainment scheduled most days from music to comedy. Try the Pit Boss hefe, it was spectacular!

Great beer and great vibes!! Stopped in here tonight for a drink and what a great discovery this was! The beers are fantastic, with solid depth and variety - Kiai, the wet hop ipa was unique and super interesting, and Al Toque, the Peruvian lager, was an everyday crowd pleaser. What a wonderful world when not only is the beer good, but the environment is as well. Giving off old school Vegas vibes, with plush leather booths and velvet curtains and glowing neon signs, it's a great spot to stop in for a drink and feel transported to somewhere else for a moment. A lot of their decor is authentic vintage from 50s-60s Vegas casinos, so it's cool getting to see a bit of history as well!

This place is seriously so great! They make some of the best beer in town. And the Hef is THE BEST I've ever had! There are always flowers on the tables too, it's a small but nice touch! They are buddy ing with Al Toque Peruvian Kitchen right now, and the food is DOPE! If you want to check out a new up and coming brewery, come to Five Suits!

Awesome small brewery!!! It has a really fun atmosphere that holds true to its name. Almost every time, there seems to be a food stand out front serving delicious snacks. It's a really spacious brewery. It's a wonderful venue for hosting parties. They have quite a few different styles to choose from, which is always welcome. The Gablin' German Chocolate Cake Stout is exceptional, and so is Planet Nectron Hazy IPA. If you're a Mexican Lager fan, the Al Toque is a really interesting twist as a Peruvian Lager made with Blue Corn. One of the very few breweries that also make a Hefeweizen!!! It has a vegas speak easy vibe, but there is a bar and lots of seating. There is also room for a dance floor.

This is a nice local brewery. They provided great service and good drinks. I had the hard seltzer slushy and I enjoyed it. We attended on a night when they had the Dueling Pianos performing. It was upbeat entertainment. *If you go during cold weather be sure to dress warm and bring a jacket. It was pretty cold inside.

Great band (the Ripple Effect), very poor service. Beer tenders were off putting. Acted as if they were doing me a POC a favor serving me. Required my to pay for my drink before they would make the order.

We came here one night for a date night when they had the dueling pianos. It was a fun upbeat experience. The beer options were not my personal preference, but the decor and vibe was fun.

I love going to this place. I think this is one of my new favorites in this area. I love the fact that they have a band that plays on the weekends. The owner is very nice. Not to mention. The drinks were excellent. The facility is clean. everyone is friendly. I definitely will be returning to this place in the future. The vibe here was very friendly. There is quite a bit of seating inside. There is a full bar to sit at plus some smaller tables off to the side very welcoming environment. Their mango hard seltzer is delicious. I really like the decor also in this place. Thank you for everything.

The venue is very cute. The Ripple Effect band was playing, The music was great. I was very disappointed by with the beer tender. I was made to feel I was bothering her. No smile, no hello, just pay for your beer, then I will pour it. A night that started off so fun, was tarnished by the negative attitude.

This is a pretty small venue however nevertheless the beer menu has plenty to offer. Every Friday there is live band- so why not make a reservation and organize next after work! Food truck - (pizza) was parked outside and the pizza was brought inside so no need to linger outside. I saw several dogs tagging along. This brewery is definitely more diverse. Come and check them out.

We really enjoyed our first trip to Five Suits and will definitely go back. The beer was delicious and the live music was awesome! Stay tuned...I'll update the rating after we visit a couple more times.

Last week i visit San Marcos and my brother knew the brewing and invite me to have a Peruvian Langer Beer so good and refreshed .. Customer service is excellent. The lady on the front was so nice and explain everything i ask... The place is so nice for a happy hour, gatherings and they even have live shows some days.. A very cool spot. Recommend it

the treats here are HUGE and the service is bar to mouth good!!!!!! fairly sure that is why the humans came here although they say it is the award winning beers and the delicious Peruvian food... speaking of which, the fried fish, shrimp, and calamari was amazing and I even got the best part which were the tails because I was such a good girl!! they had Mario kart races tonight which are fun to watch! I have been here for live music, comedy night, and cornhole so you can say I am a regular!!

Fun, Vegas/casino-themed brewery! Showed up on a Monday to check out some beers. It happened to be karaoke night. Such a fun vibe! Lots of fun singing. The IPAs were solid. All the beers are quality.

My new favorite spot! This place was AWESOME and totally different than any other brewery I've been too. Walking in I was blown away with the decor and design of this place. Very Vegas show girl type of vibe. Curtains on walls, poker tables, and strobe lights. This place has it all! The beer was great, I definitely enjoyed it. I didn't realize they had a kitchen in the back, they also have food! I've never had Peruvian food before and I was blown away. It was so delicious, the noodles had amazing flavor. It didn't taste like anything I've had before and it was outstanding. I'd come back just for the food, but it's a plus the beer is great too. Dog friendly, they had a live band performing outside, awesome decor, delicious food, I could go on. Definitely stop by and check this place out!

Spent a few hours here for a pop up event I was having along side many others and had the pleasure to try their Mojito seltzer, sooooo good! Let's just say there's 3 reasons why I would come back: awesome and friendly staff, especially Nick's mom and wife who made me feel super welcomed; the selzter's and the ambiance. They brewery is very trendy and most of all clean. I just loved all of the décor. Five Suits and Al Toque make such a great pairing and I'm glad I got to try both. Alcohol and Peruvian food = yummy. Covid has me drinking more in 2020 than my whole adult life.... breweries are not even my jam. However, I came here to support a longtime friend's former coworkers, who are in the process of opening their business. Not only did I meet the owners, but I got a tour of the facility as well. They had live music and Peruvian food on Industry Night (again, not my thing- but if you bring your badge from bar/restaurant/casino/hotel/entertainment, you get 20% off all drinks Mondays from 3-8pm). I got to try about a half a dozen brews, and my favorites were the seltzer, stout, raspberry wheat beer, and the Wetsuit (which happens to have the highest ABV at 8%). We got a taster flight of 4 oz pours at three bucks a pop. I don't know tasting notes or standard beer prices to be able to expand on my experience further. This actually being my first time drinking at any brewery. And, I finished 2 tasters... making that more beer than I've ever had. While I don't see myself coming back on my own, if I do return, it will be nice to see the progress they make with the interior decorating and all the visions they enthusiastically shared with me. I honestly came more for the social aspect with this particular friend than the alcohol. No pros and cons section. But, if you are into the brewery scene, do make an effort to check this fledgling place out. You might find something you like! It's even kid and dog-friendly, albeit in an unassuming industrial business park. Peace out.

I went in for a yelp event and left extremely impressed by this new brewery. It has sort of a Vegas/Speakeasy vibe and the beer is incredible. I ended up trying the Razz, San Diego Ale, and the heff, and all three were absolutely delicious. They even have Peruvian food available which I hear is pretty authentic. You can order beer to go, and they literally fill and seal each can from the kegs if they don't already have it. Really looking forward to coming back!

Looking for a brewery with a little touch of Vegas in Vista? You'll find it at Five Suits Brewing Co. The owners used to live in Vegas: husband was a casino manager and the wife a showgirl. Tip: the husband is an award winning home brewer and it shows in the brews. Been meaning to try Five Suits since it opened but the timing never worked out. Tonight was the night and too funny because we just got back from Vegas - literally got home about an hour ago and headed to the brewery. Decor is very Vegas - poker table as a counter/register, big overstuffed Liberace styles white chair, a Tropicana showgirl ad from a taxi on wall, and poker chips for food tokens. Staff is exceptionally friendly and service oriented. As a stout lover of course I ordered the Coconut Stout. Pretty decent Coconut Stout, somewhat smooth but more porterish than stout. Nice balance of coconut value without being overwhelming or suntan lotionish as other breweries Coconut stouts. All in all, I'd order it again. Hubby got the west coast IPA, Follow Suit, and the unfiltered IPA, Opening Night Haze. Friday night so I did the $8 hotdog and pint special and hubby got the ceviche. Despite the burnt outside the beef hotdog was tasty. The ceviche was excellent.

I was hungry for Peruvian food and beer, so my sister and I met up at this location for a late lunch on the recommendation of a friend. The Brewery has a restaurant they work with called Al Toque (review on that soon). The owners were really nice and welcoming. The ambience is Old Vegas, and it works really well for this location. They have music later in the day, but not at lunch which was fine for us. This used to be the Old Barrel Harbor location, but they have definitely made it their own. We tried Black Fathoms Imperial Chocolate Stout which was great. Very much a dessert style but not overly sweet. Rich but not too rich for either of us. The Al Toque Peruvian Lager was really good. Paired so well with the food as refreshing and flavorful without being overpowering. For a nice place to hang out with friends or family, with good beer and food options, this is the place!

My family and I have been coming here since they opened and I feel shame for not making a review until now. The people working there are always friendly. The people that go here are also always friendly. The bands that play here are amazing. Best of all, the beer is GREAT. We love it here. I have a separate review for Al Toque that I made a while ago. The pair with Al Toque and Five Suits is phenomenal. The food they make is just It's literally always got something going on. Trivia, bands, bingo, whatever. It's a fun time every time we go!!!

Being from Seattle and now living in Austin, I consider myself a hipster. As a hipster, it is my responsibility to seek out the best craft beer wherever I am. As I was visiting family in San Marcos, I decided to check out Five Suits. The head brewer is low key famous in the beer community. He's won some of the major Homebrew awards, which is sick! After tasting his beer, I can see why he's won so many awards. My personal favorites are the Pit Bos Hef, the Planet Nectaron, and the Mojito Seltzer. This beer is seriously some of the best beer I've ever had. On top of that, the ambiance and service is top notch. If you are in the area, this place is a must. If you don't go here, you don't like good beer.

Five suits has some of the most delicious beer ever! Everyone who works there is really passionate about good beer. They provided many samples and made sure that we were happy with the beers that we were getting. I will definitely return after covid so I can actually have the gambling experience. Five suits is a very interesting mix of a casino and a brewery, however they did a great job incorporating both! And in order to stay in business during this time, they partnered with a local Peruvian restaurant who made delicious food! The Tallarines were delicious!!

The place is a bit bare but the beer and entertainment was cool. We spent New Years at the brewery and had a great time. The service and servers were very pleasant. The beer was good and I only had one flavor as I wanted to check out a Hazy and they didn't let me down. The Planet Nectaron satisfied my needs! Sadly.... The food was not so good as I have had there in the past. They promised Peruvian food, which I had there before but unfortunately for some reason they had Ham sandwiches and Tijuana Hotdogs.... It was disappointing. Regardless of the food which I know it's been better I will definitely go back!

This is our first time here. We had a blasty blast! The beer is great try the Pitt Boss and the dueling pianos was off the chain! Some wild dancing and the vibe was great. Definitely a fun spot. I hear they even have karaoke, corn hole and mario kart tournaments. We will definitely be back!

Five Suits has a talented Karaoke Jock that is a bonified musician and is a big help finding the right music for us. The bar help knows their product and is efficient and nice. The karaoke stage and speakers are fine and the ambiance is good. Singers rated by me? Average of 6/10 and not many folks on any given night, I went on a Monday night...

I want to thank the owners for a very enjoyable New Years Eve ! It was refreshing in the time of price gouging and money grabbing, especially during New Years Eve, that Five Suits threw a party without a cover charge. Their beer was delicious, the entertainment was fun and the hospitality was first rate ! This is a business I will continue to support and encourage others to do the same !

They make good beer, treat you like Kings and Queens (see what I did there), and have you wishing you lived closer so you could go more often. I can see this place being a must stop by kind of joint in the very near future... even though we live in LA and only visit San Diego every few months.

What a cool place! Great vibe, fun decor, great beer and awesome live music! I had the Peruvian lager, my wife had their seltzers, all very good and they went great with the Peruvian food truck out front. The service was great and Kandy was very nice and helpful to us first timers. The music, by the Urban Gypsy's was fantastic. The voice and guitar playing by the lead singer was awesome! The acoustics at the place are just perfect making the sound wonderful. Oh, and plenty of room to dance if you feel like it!

Was there late May doing a comedy show . Employees are very attentive and friendly service. The beer menu is second to none you will really enjoy yourself here .

Odd (bizarre) combination of a local speakeasy/vintage Vegas-themed brewhouse coupled with an Asian-influenced Peruvian eatery (Al Toque). Live acoustic performance, this strange juxtaposition actually works, and the food (shrimp & ribeye) fried rice was well prepared and abundant.

So, I am not a beer expert and not going to breakdown all the flavor notes however; this is some great beer hidden in an industrial park perfect for that secret rendezvous at a brewery with speakeasy/old school vibe. They currently have more than enough outside seating with music available and some great Peruvian food provided by Al Toque Peruvian Kitchen. The beers I loved the most were the Hefeweizen which apparently has won a lot of home brewer awards before the brewery opened and the Wetsuit which is a wet hopped San Diego style ale with some fruity notes that is delicious! They also have a Seltzer that is Mojito flavored that is really good if you have that random non beer drinking friend. Overall this place is a must checkout spot, that is very dog friendly, with great service, awesome value and delicious beers.

The BEST SoCal brewery and a Must Visit! Five Suits doesn't miss a beat. Delicious beer, and seltzer, Super Fun atmosphere with Exceptional service! I've loved everything that I've tried here. They always have something fun going on! Worth the drive to relax and enjoy with friends or I've been on my own to enjoy a beer or seltzer, listen to some great music, and eat some delicious food from one of their food vendors! Can't wait to go back!!!

THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!!!! The ambiance of the bar is cool. It is so different than your average brewery in a business park. I will be coming back with my beer loving friends.

We just had a private event at five suits brewing. It was the first time in years we have changed up our venue and what we did for our Christmas party. I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Nick, Kandy and the other bartender were absolutely amazing. We had a taco truck as well as, Al Toque, the Peruvian food that's generally there, both were delicious! Nick made this whole process so easy. He lined up Royers Destroyers to play some live music and they killed it! Seriously such an awesome event and venue! we would Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Love this place! Been coming here for about 3 years now, love the Vegas theme. Beers are awesome, planet nectaron and Peruvian lager are my favs! Always have some type of event to keep all guests entertained and usually have food vendors. so come thirsty and hungry as well.

Great beer and food. I personally try their pit bs Hef. Great refreshing beer along with a cevihe mixto and Lomo saltado.

Enjoyed my introduction to FS. Sad it had to be during Covid but they were very welcoming and glad they organized a Yelp Elite Event to entice us out for some to go refreshment. They have done some nice remodeling to the old Barrel Harbor place they acquired. Met the head brewer Nick who was super friendly and approachable. Chatted about recipes and plans and really hope to continue a beer friendship in North County. I hope to revisit and update my review to earn the 5th star after they are able to fully open post pandemic

The place has a cool different look. Some beers were good, and I recommend beer #2 (banana Hef). All other beers we had were alright, and we tried several of their IPAs and they were almost right but something was amiss. Service was good.

Very cute place! Love the Vegas vibe! Theyhad corn Hole going on when i came in. The peruvian truck had great good outside.

Rating on beer alone as we didn't interact with service much. Had 5 5 star beers. Highlights were the Pit Bos Hefeweizen and the Planet Nectaron IPA. The hefeweizen in particular really surprised me, easy drinking and full of flavor. Also the Peruvian restaurant attached to it is awesome! Both 5 stars. Make this a stop on your next beer run!

Finally went to this place on Tuesday this week with my wife and son. Two things pulled me toward this place: German beer and Peruvian food truck. Beers did not disappoint. Hefeweizen was top while Festbier was a bit too sweet for my taste. Interesting decor and nice servers. But the other attraction, Peruvian truck? Food was ok. No issue. Bad price? Unbelievable high. $17 for a seafood/rice meal box, and similar for a fried chicken/rice box. I would just say this: nothing stops me from coming here to grab a beer or two and chat with enticing servers, but I will definitely bring my own food.

Really cool brewery deep in the office parks of Vista as most are. The place has a great interior which sends you reeling off into an old Vegas style casino floor. The lighting is on point. The bar looks like a card dealers table which is a cool touch. The beers, cant forget about those. I tried the Hefeweizen which was great! I picked up a crowler of on of the IPA's in the end. Solid choice, Im not even an IPA fan. The owner was a kind and accomodating lady with great customer service. Support local!!!

This place consisted of two businesses. Five Suits Brewing and Al Toque Peruvian Kitchen. All I can say is both are great and what an awesome business model. Give it a try!

The Five Suits Brewing family makes you feel like part of their familia. The brewmaster, Nick, his wife Kandy, and brother Shane do everything to ensure the deck is in your favor. Nick's brewing prowess and knowledge of the microbrew game creates a the perfect atmosphere to talk shop and get an idea of the the thought process that goes into each one of his creations. The best Hef (Pit BOS, which garnered several high honor accolades in the homebrew circuit) I've ever had, the Wetsuit IPA tasting like an adult bowl of cereal (think hoppy Fruity Pebbles), and the Mojito Seltzer which is a must try and refreshing on a hot day. Pairing their delicious suds with the collaboration with dining partner Al Toque Peruvian Kitchen, and you've got a winning combination (I recommend the chicken fried rice Peruvian style and the ceviche!) Great atmosphere and dog friendly; perfect for a date, family, or group of friends. Heck, I'll stop by after work for a drink just to chat it up with the great team. 10/10

Went there to listen to a band that my friend sings for. Great brewery that has a very comfortable vibe from the workers and management. Would do there again.
