How awesome is it to have a brand new Five Watt around? I am obsessed with Keg and Case Market and the fact that it now has one of the best coffee shops around makes it even more awesome.
I quite like the Five Watt space, located in the corner on the first floor of the market. It has its own cute little seating area so you can enjoy your caffeine with maybe a pastry and relax before exploring the rest of the market. If you don't feel like grabbing a seat at the table, there's also a simple bar with a few stools just to add to the seating options. The coffee bar and counter is spacious and beautiful - new and shiny and it's obvious a lot of work went into putting this space together. You can expect a fun neon sign as well as a graffiti wall and a bright green one for cool photo ops.
Staff was pleasant upon my visit which is standard for Five Watt.
If you've been to Five Watt, you know to expect excellent coffee. They have some of the most fun unique coffee drinks around. That stands true to this location as well. My favorite Kingfield ( espresso, vanilla, coriander bitters, milk, and black Hawaiian sea salt) us top of the menu and go-to. You will be surprised, however, to see some brand new concoctions exclusive just to this area alone like the 1994 BOYZ which is a cold press with vanilla, cream, cinnamon, bitters, and it comes with an actual tootsie roll. So fun!
Five Watt is definitely a highlight at the Keg and Case Market, at least for a caffeine fiend like me and I'm sure it will be appreciated by many others as well thanks to their yummy lattes, warm cappuccinos, and sweet mochas!
