The 13 Best Ethiopian Restaurants In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"While most places tend to excel in the vegetable department, Star Coffee in SeaTac is known for great meat dishes, too. Case in point: the lega tibs, cubes of mildly sauced steak cooked with fresh vegetables, aromatics, and a spiced clarified butter called kibbeh. Their kitfo is a standout , whether you get it raw or with just a kiss of heat. Like the name suggests, they serve really good coffee, but you could also pop by the bar and grab a decent cocktail or glass of wine." - lidiya belete, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Star Coffee Review - Tukwila - Seattle - The Infatuation

"While most Ethiopian places tend to excel in the vegetable department, Star Coffee in SeaTac lets their meat dishes shine brightest. Case in point: the lega tibs, cubes of mildly sauced steak cooked with fresh vegetables, aromatics, and a spiced clarified butter called kibbeh. Their kitfo is a standout too, whether you get it raw or with just a kiss of heat. But their shiro, misir, and other meatless dishes also deserve your attention. Like the name suggests, they serve really good coffee, but you could also pop by the bar and grab a decent cocktail or glass of wine." - Lidiya Belete

I usually hate Chai, but the Somali latte is remarkably good (sugar helps)... the coffee they use is excellent, which is the most important thing. Theres a cute little seating area, and they try, but you can't say it has atmosphere, on the side of a busy road with overflowing trash cans nearby. Nice folks, but perhaps the drive through is best for most people.

The coffee is delicious, especially the Somalia latte. Like nothing I’ve ever had before but absolutely delicious. The person serving us was very sweet and friendly. Great find!

I had a really good time in Fivestar Coffee! I ordered the latte with croissant and it was deliciousss, warm and cozy. The prices are really fair compared to other places and really good smoothies as well. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience on my way to work

First time for a ‘Somali latte/coffee’ and my partner for a ‘Somali chai tea’…and (drumroll…)the verdict is 💯 returning to this joint every time we come to SEA airport!!! People, seriously, you have to try the amazingly deep flavor of the spice they add to the coffee and chai tea! Wonderful on a cold day and pair it with….a veggie samosa and/or Bur, a donut type dessert that reminded me of a mandazi (Kenyan donut). There were typical US paring options like banana bread, bagels, sweet cake too. We did wait a bit in the drive through line, so if you’re in a big hurry, maybe don’t stress everyone out by impatiently waiting. Overall, we were quite pleased with ourselves for sloothing this place out!

Extremely friendly, fairly priced, and delicious coffee! I had the Somali latte (first time) and the spice blend was delicious. The baristas were also really accommodating to my overly enthusiastic five year old and left both of us with a smile on our face. Highly recommend!

Google
Very nice drive through coffee place; DELICIOUS mocha coffee, and the Somali Chai was really good with a choice of the level of added sugar. The Chai Latte was good; my brother says the spices went surprisingly well with the coffee. It's right off International Blvd, and not too hard to find.

Yelp
As a pilot, I am always on the hunt for good coffee during a layover. I walked down to this stand from my hotel, and I am glad I did! I recommend ordering the Somali coffee. Coffee spiced with cardamom. So great! The staff here are incredibly nice and I will be returning!
