It was New Years Eve and I really wanted some wings. After reading the reviews I was hopeful. I placed an online order at 9:45 PM, it said it would be ready at 10:07. Got to the restaurant at 10:11 and said I had a pickup order. He asked to see my confirmation email and then went to check in the back. I sat down and waited for about 10 minutes before he addressed me again. To keep a long story short, apparently they never got my order even though I had already paid. They made me write my order on a ticket myself and I proceeded to wait another 40 minutes. They said they we’re working on it but I’m sure that was false reassurance. Maybe it was just like this because of the holiday? But they are open late regularly so I feel like they may typically have the same amount of customers on a normal week. I didn’t leave until 11pm and watched atleast 10 other people receive their orders. The food was pretty okay but was cold by the time I got home. I like spots like this but unfortunately I can’t return after this experience.

Fish did not have any seasoning on it. I'm not sure if I was supposed to pick a certain type of seasoning for the fish but that was my first time eating there and I called the order in so the person should have told me that. Cheese fries tasted very bland which I don't know how that's possible. I had to go home add salt etc to make them good. Their hot sauce tasted fake.

On this recent trip, I decided to give Flamies The Hot Chicken Factory a try and I must say I was not disappointed. Flamies has been around for a few years and now has multiple locations in and around the Nashville area. Flamies serves Hot chicken in many combos or a la carte choices as well as fish and seafood, sandwiches, salads and sides. If you love chicken or seafood then you will find something you like. On this visit, I kept things simple and to try out a general dish I ordered the Breast Combo with fries and a drink. The chicken I ordered was mild as I had a two-hour drive ahead of me and didn't want burning in my stomach during the drive. The chicken took about 20 minutes to make so manage your expectations as they make everything from scratch at Flamies. My chicken came out perfectly cooked, and crispy with just enough heat as I wanted. The coatings and the spices were great and the meat on the breast was white, tender, juicy and very flavourful. Overall, the experience was great, the food was what I was looking for and reasonably priced.

From the first day I tried Flamie’s Hot Chicken, I was very impressed and pleased by the amazing customer service and how friendly the staff has been to me. I really enjoy the menu and I’m always looking for new things to try even though I usually order the Mango Habanero chicken fries or something similar from that menu! I enjoy Flamie’s so much that I usually order them 3-4 times a week! The staff has always welcomed me and showed love and care towards me. I recommend Flamie’s to anyone looking to enjoy an amazing meal and get their money’s worth! 💛

Flamies is clucking delicious. Hattie who? Prince what? The whole time we were there waiting for our order and eating our meal, the phone never stopped ringing with take out orders. The chicken tenders are HUGE! The flavor of the chicken is perfect and so is the heat. Every side dish we tried was perfect. This is where the locals come for hot chicken, and so should you.

I asked for spicy chicken with the loaded fries instead of the buffalo or the sweet and spicy and they offered me Flaming Hot chicken with it, and IT. IS. THE. BEST. THING. I. HAVE. EVER. HAD.

This restaurant was not bad, but not one that I must run back to again. The food was fresh and hot, but I left feeling like it was cooked from something frozen, with sauce thrown on top. The price was decent, and they have a lunch special, if you are interested. I had the Nashville Hot flavored chicken tenders.

Food took about 25 mins, but arrived piping hot. Nashville hot chix sando and chix leg quarters were great. Fried okra and pickles tasty. Nothing was made in house, but cooked with care. No ice in fountain machine, but server gladly filled from behind counter. Bathrooms were nothing to write home about either. Overall decent grub and would recommend.

Chicken was horrible. The shrimp were popcorn shrimp not what was pictured. The wait time for this low quality food was disrespectful 40 minutes! The inside of the restaurant is high quality vibes for a low quality experience.

Not good... the chicken was dry and not hot. The guy behind the counter wasn't helpful. We were trying to figure out our order and asking questions about seasonings and sides. The answers were ambiguous (maybe, it depends, I don't know). These weren't difficult questions and the lack of answers should have been our first clue. We ended up order 4 different types of chicken assuming one of them would be hot and delicious. After waiting over half an hour for our food, it was completely lackluster. The chicken was dry. The fried pickles were slimy. I would not recommend this place.

Confusing (and hard to read) menu. I think I asked for two things only to be told they weren't available or possible before I finally ordered a combo. Soft drinks were half out of service. I wanted to order a lot of things to try, but apparently, that isn't allowed. The chicken was good, but not what I'd call hot chicken. Service was really slow. There was a (seemingly) homeless person with an office setup in the dining room. They had a phone, were on it constantly, and seemed to have many belongings. It didn't seem to bother the employee(s) who were working there, though. I chose this place for it's location and my hunger level. In the end, I should have driven farther for better hot chicken.

Let me start by saying I've never walked out on fast food.....until now. We arrived when the restaurant was supposed to open, right behind the openers. We waited 5 min to allow them time to set up. Went in and ordered. Then waited and waited and waited. Finally, we gave up. The restaurant itself was dirty and ultimately the decision to leave was probably for the best.

We wanted to try some Hot chicken and came across this place for lunch while in Nashville. We walked in and placed our order. We decided on 20 party wings and some fries. We ordered three different sauces to try. Our favorite one was the sweet heat. Second favorite was the Nashville hot chicken and third was Flamies mild. The wings were on the small side. Since they were so small they were so crunchy and a bit over cooked and dry. Not very juicy. There were more drumsticks then wings. The fries were big fat crinkle kind. Came out very soggy and soft. Not crisp at all. There seemed to be a steady flow of people coming in. We were the only ones eating inside. Very casual place.

I tried flamies one time and it's just down the road from where I live. The chicken was very good and the atmosphere of the location was clean and nice. The sides were delicious that I got with my chicken. I'll definitely be back to try the Nashville hot flavor

Food was fresh and good. Great portions. Decor could use some help and music on the TV made me feel like I was in a 1960's western tv show. Don't think violin is the correct choice for a restaurant.

It's fine. As long as you're not expecting real NHC, it's fine. (They also don't claim to be real NHC). My half chicken "nashville hot" had no heat, but was very sweet in whatever sauce they dunked it in. The crinkle fries were pretty good.

I try to hit all Nash Hot Chicken spots and am going to start reviewing them one by one. Made it out to Flamie's today to see what they had cooking. Here is my review: Chicken Quality: 7/10 Actually pretty impressed with the freshness and texture of the chicken. I wouldn't say the chicken itself was the best quality I've ever had, but it was prepared well and the breading had a great crispy texture. The chef did well with the chicken quality they used which turned a likely frozen cut into something really decent. Flavor/heat: 6/10 Overall decent. I got the "Flamie's hot" and it had heat and the classic hot chicken flavor was there but really nothing to write home about. I'd say the heat level I got was equivalent to a wild-medium at comparable chicken shops like Prince's, Slow Burn, or 400 Degrees so don't be scared off by the term "hot" in this case. Ranch: 2/10 I'm not sure if it was a house made ranch (I hope not) or typical mass produced stuff that they put in little containers, but I wouldn't get it again. The ranch wasn't seasoned enough, had very very light flavor and was watered down and kinda glossy. It dripped off the tender when I dipped instead of sticking to the hot and crispy breading. Something was just off in its texture and there was really no flavor to speak of. Maybe it's just a preference, but I like a rich and creamy ranch that you can smell once you open the container. Service: Unimportant. You can slap me in the mouth and insult my mother and I'll leave 5 stars if the chicken is on point. Overall a pretty standard experience. Not great, not terrible. Would give 3.5 stars if I could, but certainly wouldn't go up to 4 stars. Next time I'll get bone-in edit my review accordingly if necessary.

Hot chicken? Well, there's a new cock of the walk And it's name is Flamies! The hot chicken factory. Everyone has "their" place, "their" reasons why it beats all the rest. Or maybe in the other camp and believe the whole hot chicken thing is over done, over rated, and just over it. Flamies does a lot of things right. Lots of heat if you want it. Low heat if that's your style. And everything in between. Crispy on the outside. Juicy inside. It's good flavorful chicken. Takes about 15 minutes which means they are cooking to order. The sides potato salad, Cole slaw, and Mac and cheese are okay, but unremarkable. Probably food service bulk. Place is very clean, and smells good, like fresh cooking. The music choices don't go with the concept and are at a volume level of a dance club rather than a restaurant. They are following all COVID guidelines that were in effect at the time. Lots of sanitizer. Social distancing. Clean bathrooms to wash your hands and staff had masks. Definitely worth it, especially if this is your neighborhood. Lots of parking, great service, and friendly staff. Everything but the music that's why I give 4 stars

Food was super good and well prepared. It did take a while to cook and prepare. It did come out fresh and had a lot of flavor! The environment was nice and the employee did a pretty good job at taking our order and helping us out! The bathroom was pretty dirty and lacked toilet paper. Overall the food WAS GOOD! That's really all that matters!

@flamies_hot_chicken_factory_ So many unkind things to say about this food. This is not NHC. My first impression was that someone had taken BBQ sauce and added cayenne. My order was Nashville Hot tenders, fries, and mac & cheese. A frozen dinner from Liberia would have tasted better. The mutant tenders were cooked well, although they tasted like they were out of a Sysco bag. The mac & cheese was probably good last Thurs. which is probably when they make the weekly batch. Even the fries were soggy, sad, and not seasoned. Even in the part of Nashville vacated by 2 NHC icons, this is not worthy to fill that void. And this is coming to Franklin, KY ??? The employee working was unprofessional (on the phone, eating & kind of rude), the food was not good & the bathroom was dirty despite there only being one other customer in the restaurant. I ordered the lunch special and a side of beans. The chicken wasn't very good and the beans were gross. They charge $1 for a 1.5 ounce side of packaged ranch dressing. Save your money for somewhere better!

I and a friend wen t there around 1:35 today ;the brother Of a store in donelson;charged me 2 dollars extra For All Flats..And The Chicken Was Not Done..The Brother To The Brother in Donelson Wasn't There Today...Also Gave Me Jumbo wings. All The Drinks Is as Flat..I just brought a bottle . up Date Your Fountain Drink Machine.

I was really disappointed by the food here. The restaurant itself is very clean and the service was pretty fast, but both the strips and the fries were disappointing. The chicken was not super spicy (I got the mild) and was simultaneously incredibly dry and soaking in oil. The fries were not crispy and were cold. I ended up throwing half of it out.

Loved the chicken here! We ordered the chicken tenders and fries. Everything was cooked exactly like we like it. There was a bit of a line when we got there, but the employee handled it just fine.

I have ordered from Flamies a handful of times (direct from store and also from delivery apps) and have always had a great experience. I normally get the 3 tenders and a side. This time I decided to try the party snack wings. They were SO small, like smaller than my thumb. Definitely the smallest wings I've ever seen. Flavor was great (sweet heat) but 3 stars for disappointing wings. I'll stick to the huge tenders.

This place is my go-to for hit chicken, mainly because it's 3 minutes from my son's apartment and it's usually at least pretty good. It's occasionally really good. The Nashville hot is a nice level of heat and spice, and the chicken is usually not overly greasy. Sides are good too. Pretty fair prices for the serving sizes. We always get to-go so I can't really comment on the service or ambiance.

Came for lunch, had the tenders, wasn't impressed at all. Helen's hot chicken is a much better option. Chicken taste like Tyson frozen chicken from Kroger. I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they're serving. No disrespect intended! Just my honest opinion.

I have not eaten my food yet but I feel like I have to write a review as a warning. I saw a picture of the menu from 10 months ago with 6 tenders + 2 sides for $13.99. 6 tenders is now $18.99 and they are charging $2.19 for a meal with a single side and a drink for a total of $21.18. I know inflation is a thing but I think a 50% price increase in 10 months is a little absurd. Just spent $35 for my girlfriend and I to split a 6 tender plate with 2 sides. If this chicken is the best I've ever tasted I may bump my review to 2-stars. But otherwise I can guarantee you there are hundreds of better options than this restaurant for $35 for a fast food meal for 2.

NEVER AGAIN. THIS PLACE IS THE PEAK DEFINITION OF PERFORMATIVE NICENESS. I used to support this restaurant and listen to the guy with the glasses at the register complain about other customers. Oh, he's nice as pie until you're not pleased; then he's RUDE AS HELL. UNPROFESSIONAL AS HELL. NOT DESERVING OF ONE MORE CENT YET TOTALLY DESERVING OF ME MAKING THE TIME TO WRITE THIS...AS HELL. Being consistent with accuracy is already touch and go. I sometimes let it slide. But THIS TIME, I ordered 10 wings and they were literally the size of my thumb. Some shorter. Me: "Wow. What's this about?" Him: *shrugging* "That's how they came in the bag. We can't control that." Me: "This is a problem. And ridiculous. Why would you expect people to pay for this?" ***voice still monotone*** Him: *shrugging* "I could see how it might be a problem for you but it's not a problem for us." Me: "I'm sorry, what?" Him: "Listen, I'll give you your money back but don't ever come back here with that nonsense. I mean it, don't come back", as he shewed me like I'm some damn fly. Me: "Watch your mouth. You will see this experience. TRUST ME." This is how good customer service goes. An apology An offer for better service or a refund A coupon to return again A smart mouth and entitled attitude isn't worth your time or your coins. Here or anywhere else.

I got an order of jumbo wings with the Flamies hot flavor and they were good. The 3 stars is not for the food. The cashier was rude. He was rude to people calling. He was rude to people in the dining room. He was just rude. Another reason is that sauce is extra. Not that extra sauce will cost you but your initial sauce will cost you. Who sales hot wings with no blue cheese or ranch and not even make it in house? The final reason is the ceiling has major water damage with active wet spots and leaks throughout the restaurant. I'd hate to go in and have a rain storm hit. You'll be covered in gross ceiling water. Yuck. Fix the attitude and fix the ceiling.

Nah don't recommend it. Next time I'll go to Popeyes if ghost wings is closed. I tried this place out and was disappointed on the way some girls came by and got free blue cheese meanwhile I ask for blue cheese and they tried charging me for it. Their baked beans got nothing on ghost wings, neither do their chicken. I recommend being fair with your customers if you're reading this owners.

The Jumbo Chicken Tenders were fine. Nice flavor and lived up to the "jumbo" title. The macaroni and cheese, though, I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. The fries tasted like they were cooked several hours earlier and kept under a heat lamp. Most appalling was when I asked for ranch and I received two pre-packaged generic ranch salad dressing.

I really recommend you to come here it is so good my personal favourite is the mild tenders and wings. I love how they have many options of spicy level they also have different types of chicken choices. The Service is really good and workers are really nice. Also the decorations are so cool

Never heard of mini wings but they were no bigger than my little finger. 10 wings equaled 2.5 regular wings. Sauce was awful too. STAY AWAY!!!!

This place doesn't seem to have the East Nashville Hipster/Yuppie stamp of approval, and I like it that way. Maybe it needs more Edison bulbs and less *original East Nashville patrons* to make the rich white transplants feel more comfortable. In any case, what it DOES have is some of the BEST Nashville Hot Chicken I have ever had. I have ordered the half chicken, and the jumbo tenders - and they were amazing. I get the Flamies Hot heat level and it is spicy without being overwhelming. Chicken has always been perfectly cooked, and heat level has been consistent. They do have a ton of other flavors/heat levels which I have not tried, so cannot comment on that. The prices could be lower, however the portions (at least what I order) are huge. The tenders are definitely jumbo. I got fries as well, and was expecting an ordinary single serving of fries. However, I got an entire BOX of fries. I had far more than I can eat, and I can really put it away! Love this place. Open late too!

Food is good, though overpriced. Spent $15 for a 6 piece tender and 2 sides, then they wanted to charge extra for ranch dressing. I could get a whole bottle for what they wanted for 2 packs. LOL.

Just tried their Chicken sandwich. My husband had the wings. Both were excellent. The spice mixture was outstanding. Complex and unique. The chicken was moist and tender. Service stellar. Love this place!

We got the tenders, Nashville hot style. The chicken was good size jumbo tender, juicy with good flavor. Probably won't do the side next time, we got mac and slaw...meh.
