"Flaming Mountain's strip mall environs may be less than exciting but they save their sizzle for the food. The owners, husband-and-wife Hongfeng Li and Ling Wu, are originally from Shenyang in China's northeast, and the menu proudly displays their regional heritage alongside classic Sichuan cuisine and grilled skewers. Chef Wei Zhang sources quality ingredients for dishes that deliver bold flavor across the board. Portions are hearty, so arrive armed with an appetite for meals like Chungking spicy chicken, with a plate piled high with classic dry fried chicken studded with chilies and peppercorns. Cucumber salad tossed in a vinegar sauce balances the heady spice. Cumin-scented lamb done in a stir fry style is another standout." - Michelin Inspector

If you enjoy spicy, authentic Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. While the service could be better, the food is absolutely fantastic. I recently visited after a friend recommended it, and we’ve already been back a couple of times. I love their skewers,回鍋肉and麻婆豆腐. It reminded me of my mom’s cooking and made me realize how much I missed it! The price of the menu is little higher than other Chinese restaurants.

Just terrible place!! When I first walked in, someone from the kitchen was standing at the table, brazenly eating sunflower seeds, throwing the shells on the table. He continued doing this while I was ordering! I simply threw the order away and lost $30. The chicken scraps on sticks were disgusting and undrinkable! The beef soup had no beef, only skin-like scraps! It was awful, and just the sight of it made me sick!

Google
Tampa doesn’t have much Chinese food so this place is something. Got the grilled fish, pork rib stew, and sweet sour pork. That sweet sour pork always hits and not many spots even do it. Fish was fine. Definitely not LA or NY level but it holds it down

Google
We met some friends for dinner here - good thing because these dishes were enormous!! Everything was delicious, and incredibly filling. We opted for the less spicy choices, but it still had a definite bite to it. Despite the heat, it was all incredibly flavorful, and I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again! The food choices included some exotic items I don't often find on menus. The decor was bright but not distracting. Seating was close enough to share without crowded.

Google
Honestly food it wasn’t horrible, but I paid 16 dollars for just straight noodles. In my dish all my “beef” was just fat and if that’s what you like go ahead but when I pay for beef and it’s all fat I’m not going back. The WORST part was at the end when I got my check they had a suggested tip part and I saw 20% was 6.43 on a $16.07 check. I knew that wasn’t right so I calculated 20% of 16.07 and it was 3.22 so they basically just doubled the tip. Lying to their customers. The arrogance. I won’t be back.

Google
A great place for authentic Chinese food. no frills or gimmicks. We got the lamb skewers, malatang, and chongqing chicken. All were 10/10.

Google
Loved this restaurant! Very authentic Chinese food. There is so much to try. We are definitely going back. We had the braised pork, which was phenomenal! My mouth was singing. We tried a cold spicy dish that had beef and ox tongue. It was a very spicy, chewy type of texture with lots of cilantro. I really liked it. Little FYI, the collagen parts that were chewy are very good for you. The steamed pork and cabbage dumplings were excellent. I recommend trying out this restaurant.

Probably will return. We made a wrong turn from going to Beijing House, so ended up here. No frill decor, decent food and good service, with one young man serving. This restaurant operates by husband & wife team, Hongfeng Li and Ling Wu who are from Shenyang 沈阳, the provincial capital of Liaoning, one of three northeast provinces that collectively called Dongbei 东北, the rust belt. Xinjiang, in the northwest, has sandstone hills, named Flaming Mountains 火焰山. Not sure they've any relation. But skewers 烤串 are popular in both regions. The kitchen seems to extends to the front. I hear the clunking of the wok but don't smell any cooking fragrance - good ventilation. We've ~ A4 Malatang 麻辣烫 ~ E22 Grilled eggplant 蒜蓉茄子 ~ D3 Chongqing spicy chicken 重庆辣子鸡 A4 is way too salty, even for me, a salt lover. Three whole shrimps (with heads and tails) have thick black veins, are over cooked. Eggplant and chicken are very flavorful. Initially we ordered Spicy noodles 鱼香面 The chef yelled from the kitchen that he doesn't have it, in Chinese. So both I and the server laughed, who doesn't have to relay it to me. "What doesn't he have?" I asked "The spice." The server said. They serve beers.

Yelp
What a great find! LET ME PUT YOU ON! Great mom and pop restaurant! The past two times I've gone, I've been really impressed with service and authenticity. Personally, I find it a good sign that there were plenty of Asians in and out of the restaurant while we were there. Definitely will return often!! Tried a bunch of different dishes I really wouldn't normally choose, like the chicken feet. It's not like your braised and fall off the bone chicken feet at dim sum. There's more chew to it but it wasn't bad! Huge assortment of skewers to choose from. My usual go tos are chicken heart, chicken gizzard, mushrooms, prawns, and pork belly. My partner likes the lamb but I do not like lamb in general. They are all seasoned with like a cumin and peppery mixture. Mapo tofu was very numbing spice! I LOVED. not for everyone tho so this is your warning. Vegetables to go with meal, the grilled eggplant was heavily garlicky and I'm a hardcore garlic girl so LOVE. Green beans are also a must have! The eggplant in garlic sauce is also yummy! Very saucy so be sure to order rice. The beef noodle soup had a great savory flavor. I loved the texture of the noodles. Not pictured was the chunking spicy chicken and the stir fried beef with peppers and leak. Chicken was so crispy and not too overly spicy unless you ate a dried chili with it. The beef dish was recommended to us by who I'm assuming is the owner. She been there every time we've gone. It was yummy!

Yelp
This is a good place for Chinese BBQ in Tampa. This was the 3rd time I tried to eat at Flaming Mountain, and it finally happened. The first time, I showed up at 11am based on the opening time in Yelp, and I was advised they don't open until 11:30 (I sent a note to Yelp to update their info). The second time, they canceled my DoorDash order. Finally, I showed up after 11:30am to eat lunch there. I was seated promptly and given a sticky laminated menu. I ordered the lamb skewers, the grilled eggplant, and the grilled tofu noodles. And a bowl of rice. I tried to order a drink and was advised to help myself to the cooler. My food came out quickly. Not sure if this is inflation or what, but the portions were pretty small for the price. The pieces of lamb on the skewers were tiny. But they were delicious. The grilled tofu rolls were okay but the cilantro stems were a bit tough. The eggplant was very tasty, but I felt that it needed more spice. I think I would have had a better experience if I hadn't come alone so that I could have ordered more dishes. As it was, my meal was almost $30 before tip, and the amount of leftovers I had wasn't quite a meal's worth. They are in a mini mall, so parking is plenty. The mall is on the sketchy side.

Yelp
I dream of this place ever since I've had it. The meat skewers remind me of the ones I eat when I visit family in China. Hands down, some best flavoring I've ever tried, I recommend the beef skewers for sure! The enoki mushroom dish was DELICIOUS. I love a good enoki entree. The cucumber salad had good flavoring, very savory. It's a good place to order a little of each and see what you like, and order more if you enjoy a specific skewer. I would come back here so often if I lived here. Give this restaurant a try!!

Yelp
Always great and unique food. Everything was always well seasoned and flavorful. This place gives me a glimpse into the rich history of chinese food. Must try when in Tampa.

Yelp
The bok choy was my favorite so good it was a pretty kool experience authentic Chinese food, you really feel like you have stepped into China walking into this restaurant. The waitress was so friendly and recommended dishes for me to try at home.

Jennie Tuyen N.

Yelp
It's a smaller restaurant but the Food was delicious. Good price for the portion and taste very authentic.

Yelp
I've heard that the food is inconsistent. But decided to go try it anyway. We were the only table there to dine in on a Sunday. The meat skewers were decent but the squid skewer was really not as pic on the menu. It didn't look very pricy but when we were given the bill, everything adds up to be around $100 for lunch for two people.

Yelp
Flaming Mountain may be my new go to place for Szechuan food in the Tampa area. They have a variety of hot and spicy items that are well executed. I loved the Chongqing Spicy Chicken with the crispy fried chicken pieces, chili peppers, and peanuts. The Twice Cooked Pork Belly was solid as well. Service was fast and efficient, with the servers quick to take your order and the food quick to come out. However, just be aware that the store is pretty small. If you have a large party, there's a good chance you won't be able to fit or it will be a long wait for enough tables to open up. The serving sizes are also a little small for some dishes. But overall, still a very solid place that I will be coming back to again :)

Yelp
Everything was amazing!!!!! The skewers are exactly how I wanted it I miss them from home!!!! The noodle had a great broth and the noodle had the perfect chewiness! I ate so much here and ended up taking some back to my hotel and ate it later!!! If I come back in Tampa I will definitely come again!

Yelp
Worst service I've ever experienced Also, they forcibly charged a tip regardless of the quality of their service. What I mean is, if your service is good, we will definitely tip -- and generously. But the fact that you forcefully take the tip is extremely, extremely uncomfortable

Yelp
The real deal! Having lived in China, there are some dishes that you remember fondly. Food is tied to so many of my memories, from grabbing skewers late at night with a friend, to enjoying braised pork after an exam. There are so many dishes I wish I could eat again. Thankfully, Flaming Mountain exists! I brought my boyfriend to this restaurant with the promise that the drive would be worth the lamb. I'm so glad I was right. The skewers were delicious, xiao long bao was rich, and the pork was buttery. Ambiance was what you would expect of a Chinese restaurant. I've since been back with him once more, to which he's even agreed that this is "the real deal". I'm already thinking about how soon will be too soon to go back!

Yiming L.

Yelp
The food is good, but the service is bad. Keep asking for check even we haven't finished the lunch. Also the discount is per table, not per person. 墙上写的和最后结账时候不一样。

Yelp
We decided to check out Flaming Mountain this weekend in hopes of enjoying some skewers. Unfortunately, no skewers were to be found. We stopped in on Sunday afternoon. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our service was great. As soon as we sat down, we were informed that no skewers were available as they were short on cooks. This was pretty disappointing as we drove up from St Pete specifically for the skewers, but we decided to try some other options while we were there. We decided to go with Dan Dan noodles, fried cumin lamb, and the mapo tofu. We placed our order and grabbed a few drinks out of the cooler. Our food came out quickly. First out was the Dan Dan noodles followed by the lamb and tofu. We tried the noodles first. They were decent. Sesame was the only thing we really tasted. The fried cumin lamb was next. It was super flavorful. It was combined with sweet potatoes and onions. We loved it. The mapo tofu was last and our favorite. It had a great depth of flavor. It was nicely spicy, numbing, and had us sweating. We did have to ask for rice with the tofu and it probably should have been served with it. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. We were a bit disappointed we couldn't get skewers, but the mapo tofu and lamb were exceptional dishes. We will return and call before to verify they have a proper staff on hand.

Yelp
I have visited this place three time. I can said Tampa finally has a good Chinese BBQ place. This is a popular place now in Tampa. First come first serve. No reservations. So either go early or late. Space is limited. The BBQ need some time to cook, so order some easy cook items while waiting. The flavor of the marinated sauce is one of favorite. Cumin sauce with their secret ingredient. I recommend their lamb and beef skew for bbq. They do have some seafood bbq. We try their squid skew. Other than BBQ, they do have dish that very interesting. We got the griddle wok chicken, stir fry chittering, the steam dumpling, braise beef noodles. Their food mainly are spicy. They do have some is not spicy. This type of food is made for northern China due to cold weather. Now is popular everywhere.

Yelp
I don't frequent Asian restaurants a lot. Invited by friends to join them here and I was introduced to several dishes that I wouldn't have ordered on my own and enjoyed everything I tried... there were a couple of dishes that I didn't (wouldn't...) The potatoes were super spicy, as intended. The beef spare ribs were very good! The green beans were super spicy but they were also good. I really liked the chopped beef and egg drop soup. But my favorite dish was the Lazi chicken. I would come back and order that again! I did feel like this establishment was more like a cafeteria set up... very casual... might even be better for take out than eating in, just looking at the tables and chairs. Still, with the right company, I would come back and might even be more adventurous and try something new!

Yelp
Charlie and I hosted a fun friends event here. Coty came to guide us through the menu which was mucho appreciated! The menu is huge but everything is flavorful, well seasoned and delicious! We all ordered a ton of food and shared everything which is definitely the way to go! Not everything we ordered arrived probably due to our waiter kind of being new at this. But, we enjoyed everything we got plus the company! Our favorites were the eggplant dishes and grilled meats. The leftovers we took home were plentiful and just as delicious the next day! We can't wait to return! Life is great with fun friends and good food!

Yelp
So this is an incomplete review. Why? Because my wife and I went for dinner tonight at Flaming Mountain . Expectations were high as their menu looked intriguing. I wanted to try something new. We arrived and were seated quickly. The place was nearly full at around 5:15pm. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food, so we were excited. We sat down and started reading the menu, which was entertaining due to the misspellings on it. We decided on skewers after 5 minutes and were told that the person who does the skewers was on vacation. They can't do skewers because no one else can do it. Interesting right? We ordered a rice dish with fried pork and a noodle soup with braised ribs. The noodle soup was delicious but the rice dish with the fried pork chop was bland and they put a red sauce that looked and tasted like ketchup. It was not a good dish. I still want to try the skewers for a final take on the restaurant so I will be back with follow-up. 3 stars for now.

Yelp
Delicious food! Authentic Northern Chinese cuisine! Highly recommended. Best Chinese restaurant in Tampa area.

Yelp
My buddy Dave, his wife Tina and I met up with some friends at Flaming Mountian for dinner. Wonderful food... a lot of variety. The lamb skewers were wonderful, as were all of the varied vegetable dishes that were ordered. Cucumber salad was delicious. The Shredded Potato Salad was unbelievably good also. The French Beans were terrific... very nicely done. The Chopped Beef soup is a must try if you like soup, and like cilantro. I had ordered the Chunking Spicy Chicken, and it was a nice portion, plenty to share... and still filled me up! I had heard stories that the food was spicy, but did not find any of it to be really hot. Just mildly so... enough for some flavor. But your tolerance may vary... :) Highly recommended!

Yelp
I love Szechuan Chinese food. This place was a disappointment. Nothing like you might get in NYC or Boston. The fried rice was awful, the chicken was not tasty. I was hoping against hope that it would be good but it was a 1 out of 5. For good bland chinese food China Yuan is the best in the area. If you read this please guide me to a better destination.

Yelp
Food is amzing! Services is also great. Remember to order guo bao rou everytime you visit!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was really good! There was a lot of flavor in their skewers and beef noodle soup, however the Dan Dan noodles could have been more flavorful.

Yelp
I love this place! It's super authentic Chinese food from different regions. I usually order from the Szechuan food sections of the menu because I love the numbing spice. There are large portions, so don't over order! Skewers are well portioned, not too small like some places can be. Plenty of seating and standard good service.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting flaming mountain and it was fantastic, again! The first visit I got skewers of all sorts and the flavoring on the skewers were out of this world delicious. This time around decided to be a little more adventurous with a friend of mine and it did not disappoint. We ended up getting the ox tongue with beef (served cold) and it was pretty flavorful. I am apparently not a huge fan of the ox tongue texture, but the beef was fantastic and the ox tasted good but texture wasn't for me. A little spicy but not bad. As for the pork belly and braised beef (served hot) this was incredibly good, but the texture of the pork belly again really wasn't for me. My friend thoroughly enjoyed both the ox tongue and pork belly as he enjoys those textures of food. Finally, the pork liver, which was my favorite dish, had immaculate flavor (spicy but flavorful) and was a large serving. We did have to order rice on the side which is a little surprising to me, but the rice was perfectly cooked and served at a good temperature. Not pictured is a enoki mushroom and bacon skewer, which again had such good depth of flavor, cumin being the star of the show. Would definitely recommend skewers of any kind. Also not shown was a Chinese brocccoli dish which was cooked to perfection and in this delicious garlic butter. Would definitely order both those dishes again. It is a little pricey but I think the size of the dishes and flavor make up for that. Seating is slightly limited and isn't the most inviting space but it is comfortable. Service was okay, seemed like the waitress was a little distracted but overall, attentive. Will be back for more skewers and to try the chungking chicken!

Yelp
I'm no expert, but Flaming Mountain is pure tasty goodness in my book! Everything I tasted was some of the best casual mala kabob style Chinese food I've had in the US. I knew the flavors were special from the first bite of dry seasoned green beans. Then, the hits just kept coming one after another. To be honest, I'm still a little starstruck and speechless about my experience. It is just THAT DAMN GOOD. I visited today for lunch around 12:30 and the place was empty, so the food arrived really fast and the service was amazing. Some other Yelpers complained about the service and the language barrier. I had a totally different experience. There is a side room that can fit up to a party of 18-20 people if the 3 tables are put together. There is also a darn good soundtrack of karaoke hits playing on the tv and microphones available. Songs are in Mandarin and Hangul. Maybe next time I'll grab a mic and sing. They are still waiting for their liquor license, but the server told us that next time we can BYOB. Anyways, on to the food, right?!? Why Flaming Mountain is a mountain of joy: 1. The flavors here are perfectly balanced spicy, sweet, and slightly numbing. 2. The kabobs are wonderfully smokey in a mix of wet then dry seasoning that pairs perfectly with beer. Kabobs to try in order of importance are: lamb, bacon wrapped mushroom, squid, tofu wrapped cilantro, then beef and chicken. 3. The oysters here are massive, 3 bite size. 4. All eggplant dishes are good. You can ask for it without pork. 5. All the veggie dishes are good. Yes, even vegetarians can eat here. 6. The cold Potato with Chili Oil dish is highly addictive, so are the cucumbers. 7. Portions are large on non-kabob dishes. If you like spicy food, barbecue, and Chinese food; then definitely give them a try.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience here. We tried the beef tripe cold salad appetizer which was very tasty. Also shared chicken skewer and pork belly skewer. Very delicious. And the braised beef bok choy noodle bowl which was also amazing. We will be back.

Sandra L.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place! Every single item we got was really good. Two dishes that stood out the most and is a must-try is the cucumber dish(better than Din Tai Fung) and the eggplant. Will definitely be back soon.

Yelp
I went in on a Tuesday night, was quickly seat by the server and also explain how and what type of food to be expected. The ambiance was cozy casual nothing really fancy, for a normal couples or family night out is good. I knew this majority the this region food should expecting spicy to very spicy. Although the server told certain dishes not spicy but guys who don't like spicy at all so not take there word for it as to them not spicy doesn't mean is not to you. Lol The bbq skewer, dumpling was good. The chive and egg was really salty. Kung Pao chicken was good if you like spicy. All dish do not serve with white rice you'll have to order separately and some dishes could be very oily. Server was smiles and nice Interact entire time but not that attentive, several times I have to wave or I go pour my own water and get napkin. Overall I recommend to those who love spicy Chinese food should try this place, it taste very close to authentic.

Yelp
The food was amazing. We had 4 dishes and all of them were on the spot. Our favorite being the beef kebabs, chunking spicy chicken, and the beef noodle soup Good customer service and the food came out quick. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who loves authentic Chinese food!

Yelp
Delicious but spicy. The best dish we tried was the Chungking Spicy Chicken, has smaller bite sized pieces of chicken and a wonderful flavor despite all the chiles. Close 2nd in terms of taste was the braised short ribts (pork) this was the only non spicy dish. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't give you option of choosing spice level, I like my food mild spicy but you get what level the dish is supposed to be or what the chef wants it to be I guess, also you don't get rice with the dishes (at least for take out, not sure about dine in). I heard the skewers were really good but best for dine in according to my friend who's been here before. We didn't try any today but maybe next time. We called head for takeout on Tuesday night, they didn't have any english speaking workers but fortunately my friend speaks Chinese and able to order for us through the phone

Yelp
Amazing food, we tried sweet and sour pork and chicken stew in iron pot. And lamb kabab

Yelp
I am really grateful that Flaming Mountain has finally opened. Coming from a northern Chinese person such as myself, I'd have such a hard time finding my hometown cuisine and this is such a life saver! Now I don't have to spend $150 buying the supplies myself and cooking it at home -- I can just go here whenever I have a craving. The skewers are great -- it seems like they toned down the the second time around (slightly disappointed but I understand especially with a different clientele). Seafood is also good (if they have them in stock). Most often they'd run out all the razor clams, oysters, etc but definitely be sure to ask if they have them in stock. They are worth the wait! The pork intestines could be a bit more authentic but I can always get them from Beijing House so I'm not too hung up on it. What disappointed me the most is the clear noodle salad (凉皮). The dish cost $13 and they only give 6 pieces of clear noodles. The bottom is all filled with tofu noodle slices (豆腐皮)instead. I ordered the dish thinking that it would have more clear noodles since that's the star of the show. That's how they have it in China but I was so let down by it. 6 pieces is not enough at all because you might as well call this a vegetable dish instead. Overall, the place is really good for skewers and seafood, but I don't recommend their dongbei (northern style) dishes such as the clear noodle salad and the crispy sweet and sour pork. Those two dishes are not as authentic as the other ones on the menu. We are going to try their fish griddle next and see how that is. Since this is the only place in Tampa that is purely based on northern Chinese cuisine, it is a good place overall to curb your northern Chinese food cravings with skewers.

Yelp
The bbq skewers had amazing flavoring to it and the meat was cooked perfectly. Staff was very nice and the food was quick to come out. Overall highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Chinese bbq

Yelp

Yelp
Newly opened! Great service. Had Joe as our server and he was very attentive. Enjoyed the grilled oysters though they are a tad expensive. Yes ! Seafood is pricey. Overall worthy of a 5 solid star rating because we enjoy every dish. Came in with my girlfriends for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night and loved it! Side note - small space so accommodating big groups/ family is tight. What would I recommend? I really loved the flavors and char on the eggplant with mince pork.

Yelp
I must say, this is a very interesting find! My sister and a friend decided to meet here for lunch. We arrived right as they opened. Small place, seating is nice and spaced apart. The place was clean and the greeter was nice and welcoming. We ordered almost every thing on the menu! The grill menu (with the skewers) are only offered after 4pm on the weekdays but all day on weekend (per the waiter). We ordered the eggplant, lamb kidney, oyster, and scallop. Also ordered a couple of cold dishes: cucumber salad, and beef tendon. Very tasty and had a kick! Everything came out piping hot. I rated this one star less than perfect because there was a bit of a wait on each grilled entree/item. Other than that it was a great find!

Yelp
Flaming Mountain Chinese Grilled Skewer Bar is on fire! Have you ever been to a Chinese grilled skewer bar?? No? Well if you ever see one, I recommend dropping whatever you're doing immediately, because if this place is any indication, WOWEE! Man oh man was this place amazing! Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had (and I've had it in NYC, SF, etc.) And my favorite experience, completely unplanned, totally random. Didn't even know about this place until just before trying, but when I read reviews, knew I had to ("I lived in China for 5 years, this is closest food I've found to that"). You know it's gonna be authentic when there's hardly any English spoken. These folks are from Northeast China, which I believe is the skewers and grilled stuff, although there definitely seemed to be a lot of Sichuan influence as well, lots and lots of those yummy, zesty peppercorns that leave your mouth all tingly in everything. Now I know I throw superlatives out a lot, but this place was truly phenomenal! Every single dish just off the charts good, absolutely bursting with flavor. Started with a couple skewers, lamb and chicken. Was gonna try lamb kidney, but they were out (lots of interesting offal on the menu). Nicely grilled, tons of cumin and other spices. But look at this oyster and scallop! Holy moly I've never seen such big ones in my life! The spicy garlic sauce was outrageous, and just loved the vermicelli noodles on the scallop. Chopsticks on shells for scale. Now there are many more exotic dishes that I look forward to trying (like pork, blood sausage, and pickled Chinese cabbage stew - I believe pickled things are a big part of NE cuisine, due to the long winters), but I didn't get too adventurous this time around, but what I did try was just incredible. The eggplants and ground pork in garlic sauce, stir-fried (spicy!) squid, French beans, and ma po tofu (def best ever) were all fabulous. Every bite of everything just smacks you in the mouth with flavor. The yeung chow fried rice was excellent as well, wonderful flavor, and the corn egg drop soup was so, so, soooo good! I am ready to eat these leftovers right now!

Yelp
Chef changed, food is very very average now. Stop the BIG FAT Menu. Bring back the chef and the simple menu back.

Yelp
Taste is good, a bit too spicy for my taste. Service needs work. Liquor license need work. AC needs works. Overall a good authentic Chinese eatery where you can taste grilled skewers dishes and spicy oil dishes.

Yelp
Great authentic northeastern Chinese grill skewers. The clams are clean and delicious. The beef and lamb skrewers have big portion of tender meat. Fast service too!

Yelp
Bad place. Went there once, the table is oily and greasy and it's very hot inside. Food was served super slowly. And they served us wrong order. The squid, when served, was already cold. Half year later now and we decided to give it a try again. Came in and was told there is no skewers. I mean, why do you call yourself "skewer bar" if you cannot serve skewer in the weekends???

Yelp
Food itself was great and came out in a timely manner, however I cant really say the same about the service. We felt very rushed to get in and get out, the server only interacted with us when he was getting the orders and the dropping the check off. The whole experience felt rushed and as if we weren't welcome. The ambiance was calm.

Yelp
I love it here. You have to try the skewers. I love the beef tendon and the lamb skewers the most. I didn't expect to like the glass noodle salad but it was excellent. That sauce was transformative. There was nothing left at all. The pork belly is great and in a pleasantly rich sauce. The service is not necessarily fast paced. It's part of the experience and I find myself relaxing with my tea.
