Beautiful, just beautiful beach. The flamingos are a nice touch. Altogether, it is worth a visit if you manage to grab tickets. Tickets are needed if you are not staying at the resort. They are made available at 9 am every Saturday for the following week, and they go fast - really fast. Be ready to book at 9am and grab what you can get.

Arriving early is recommended to fully enjoy the experience, starting with a delicious breakfast. The island provides complimentary rentals, including snorkel kits, life vests, and floating mats, making it easy to explore both above and below the water. Whether you’re soaking in the scenery, spotting wildlife, or simply unwinding, Flamingo Island offers a perfect blend of luxury and nature.

We were lucky to score some day-passes to the Renaissance Private Island (they cost about $125 per person and there’s now no complimentary drink or snack included) and after a short boat ride - via the Renaissance Dock - arrived at the island. There are two beaches, a nature walk, spa, restaurants and cabanas. The beaches are peaceful and not overcrowded. The iganuas, fish and tropical birds were all lovely. The flamingos were spectacular! We visited early in the day and they enjoyed eating the feed (they have machines which dispense this - cash only) and watching them strut around the beach and wade with them in the sea. Not cheap but a once-in-a-lifetime experience which was worth the outlay. Was really fun and beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful private island! Only a few flamingos roaming around and they seemed a bit agitated by people. We went later in the morning so that could be why. The food, drinks and staff were amazing. Definitely recommend!

Experience here was top tier. I would however recommend that rocks be removed. When you enter the water on the adult beach side, the rocks in the water are treacherous. The staff was amazing, shout our to Big H, our cabana concierge. The food was food was good, nice amenities & great drinks and service. Although pricey, the cabana rental was a great experience.

I went for the experience. It was ok. Very rocky beach so bring sand shoes. Food and drinks were good. I paid $205 for a massage on the beach. Unless you stay at the resort, tickets are had to come by so book a beach massage. The massage was great!!!! Thanks Diana for the wonderful massage.

Flamingo island is a must if you are visiting Aruba, especially with children! I would suggest going very early as most of the flamingos end up annoyed and done with people fairly quickly. You can’t blame them as people are following them around and won’t give them space when they clearly want it. The water is murky and filled with seaweed. There are tons of conch’s in there to step on too. I do not recommend the water here.

The island is gorgeous and relaxing. We loved the drinks and food options provided on the island. My only complaint is that there were sharp rocks when entering the hammock area on the adult side of the island.
