We came to Flappers for the first time. The entertainment was great , five stars. The service was good at first, but later I turned off our table lamp ( which is stated in their instructions) for more drinks and desserts, but no one showed up. It was not worth the 18 percent tip. The food was very good. Maybe the next time we go, the service will be better.

Tom was exceptionally nice, so was Electra. Enzo the wait staff was very kind. These are nice people in a CLEAN club. We had a good time. The menu was a shocker. The blue cheese burger..., delicious. The pizza too. I was really surprised for a comedy club. They had salmon, steak & vegan options. 😋 Really great choices.

I love this place, especially when you just need to get away from life's bs and escape for a good laugh. This is the place to be. Oh, also, the food is amazing here. Just an FYI. Cheers

Flappers was excellent. The food was great. The drinks were good. The comedy was even better. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in L.A. Burbank area... parking was fine no fee

I'm a comic from Atlanta and visited friends during the Burbank Comedy Festival. I stopped by to see if Jay Leno's show was sold out. Ms Barbara Holliday took me in, took care of my ticket sales, and promoted my seats. It was one of the best nights I spent in the city! I'll be forever grateful for her kindness!

Google
Shout-out to the staff a Flappers! I had a good time there last month, but unfortunately I lost my wedding ring there. It was not immediately found, but it later turned up, and the staff went out of their way to get back to me and mail it to me! They are good people!

I came down from Ventura County to see Liz Miele. I was expecting something similar to Levity Live in Oxnard, where they pack you in like sardines. But Flappers has a very comfortable and intimate main room. We arrived an hour early as suggested and were immediately seated. The staff was pleasant and helpful. And the food was very good as well, no complaints from any of the four in my group. If it was closer to home I would definitely go there regularly. And Liz was great!

Yelp
I went to a comedy show during the week in the Yoo Hoo Room. It's a small, intimate space for a show. They have QR codes on each of the tables to order food or drinks from your phone. The service is quick and someone brings the order to the table when it's ready. Parking- you can park in the parking structure next door or in the Ashley Furniture parking lot after hours

Yelp
This was our first time here in a while. We used to be regulars but the quality in food and comedians has depleted which is why we haven't been in a while. Today we were surprised to find that you order from an app now with no interaction with a waitress and the app does not let you customize. Not to mention the menu options have lessened even more and pricing for food went up. Quality in comedians also went downhill. A simple regular soft drink is $10. And they charge 18% automatic gratuity. Not sure why since you have no one serving you. Probably would not return unless it's a comedian I want to see. This place has gone downhill unfortunately. Used to be one of our favorite comedy clubs.

Yelp
I've watched Flappers develop since day one and I am so happy they are still thriving. It's so nice to have a great comedy club in this part of LA and I hope for their longevity like the clubs that are deeper into Hollywood. Here are some things I appreciate. 1. They really care about investing in local talent, for example the Armenian comedy nights produced by Mary Basmadjian featuring her set and other local comedians. 2. They make watching live comedy financially accessible. Most comedy and music venues are not cheap, between the tickets required for the performers to make money and the food and drink minimums required to keep the lights on. It's a worthwhile expense but not always possible for everyone. I love that Flappers is so generous about giving away tickets. I'm on their mailing list and a few times a year, I'll actually get a personal phone call from their team, with a pair of free tickets. (PS - also appreciate the customer care hustle!). 3. They actually have a reasonable menu where the food is not all carb-heavy bar food. There are some salads and protein options, so I can actually find something to eat here with my health limitations. Obviously nobody's coming to a comedy club for amazing food, but if there's a show at dinner time and you're eating instead of drinking, there are options. 4. They offer classes - which is my favorite thing of all. This shows that they are truly invested in the art of comedy and performance, and building the whole ecosystem. I remember taking a stand up comedy class here very long time ago and it was delightful. You don't have to be a professional or aspire to be one in order to take classes. It's also a beautiful personal development thing and I recommend it to everyone! Overall, this is such a gem of Burbank!

Yelp
Another great night at Flappers! We highly suggest you see Jay Leno. He was great along with his two opening comedians. We all laughed, we cried and all had a freakin' great time! Get there early and get your tickets ahead of time on line as they were sold out 45 minutes before the show started. Menu has plenty to choose from and beers start at 14.00 , margaritas at 18.50 and service was as expected for large room of people. Cheers!

Yelp
First time at Flappers. We went to see Jay Leno. He was fantastic. The host and opening act also did a great job. They have an overpriced two drink minimum as usual. We asked for water that never showed up. The ads before the show liked as if someone kid photographed and put it together. They added a 18% gratuity to the bill for below average service. We sat front row and had a great time. Love the size of the space. Seats maybe 300. If you're going to place that 18% on my bill give me top tier service.

Yelp
I visited this venue on a Saturday night to attend a live show by Ejspeaks, a comedian known on social media. The venue is small and intimate. Parking options include a structure shared with Ross; though it was complete, I found street parking nearby. While waiting in line, staff checked which show I was attending and handed me a slip of paper. After entering, I was seated by one of the staff members. There was a minimum order requirement of two items; I ordered water and garlic fries, which took over 30 minutes for the fries to arrive. After the show, I briefly met the performer and took a photo. I traveled from Santa Monica specifically for this event.

Yelp
I have been to Flappers Comedy Club & Restaurant like 6 times in the past. The first time I was there was back in 6/1/2014 for the Armenian night and that took the cake. Big time. Just loved it and I told myself that I would visit this comedy club every now and then. Since then; I did go there few more times, but didn't do a review. Well, let me start my recent review by expressing every detail about this club that I like so much. I have been to many different comedy clubs like Laugh Factory, Ha Ha, Ice house just to name a few and by far Flappers is my favorite. I was there with a spiritual friend/guardian on June 4th 7:30pm to see Frankie Quinones in the main room. I have been to the Yoohoo room too and I prefer the main room more. It is more spacious a lot more seats, more romantic for couples, stage is bigger, fits more people and it is just better... in my own opinion. Beautiful Ambiance. Frankie did a great job on his comical skills that made me and the whole entire room LAUGH so much and soooo loud. Loved it and loved him. It was my first time seeing him. Other comedians were: Laurie Kilmerton, Eran Evons, Monique Flores and the MC. They were also good and funny:-)) Pros: Great, delicious food. So flavorful, and just so good. Ordered their Pan Seared Salmon which came with white rice and delicious vegetables such as artichoke, grilled tomatoes, onions bell peppers and something else, can't remember. Anyway, it was very tasty. For drink I got a White Russian which was made to perfection. Not too heavy on the alcohol. My friend and I both shared the food and drink. And that was our 2 item minimum. Parking: Ashleys parking lot was open with so many spaces so I parked there. Place was lovely as I remembered with it's glamour and 20's look/vibe. It was CLEAN, WELCOMING and NICE! Cons: Service was very slow, I had to get someones attention to come to our table, so after like 10 minutes of waiting, Jeff (our server) came by to take our order. He was nice, polite, got everything right and brought out everything within 15 minutes. By that time the show had already started which I didn't like. I wanted to eat my food before the show. WE WERE BOTH HANGRY!! (Angry & Hungry) Also, I needed a paper menu since there QR code wasn't scanning properly and to get a paper menu took another 12 minutes. So that kind of ruined my mood. One thing I didn't understand why was the tip automatically included in or meal?? It's not like we were party of 6 or more. Weird. Caught me by surprise. (Still on the CONS Page) Had to go to the ladies room twice and let me tell you how gross it was. Needed a good cleaning and a SCRUB! Water was all over the sink, one of the toilets was not flushed, paper on the floor and the worst part was as I was leaving the ladies bathroom, the men's restroom door was WIDE open and it smelled so bad like so much URINE and POOP. SIMPLY DISCUSTING!!!! I had to hold my nose and run back to my seat. People clean the bathrooms. It is kind of pricy. Can't afford to go back any time soon until July 31st. Another Armenian night presenting VARTUSH. Heard a lot of good things about this comedian. I could of given them 3 stars based on this recent experience, but since I had great times at this Flappers Comedy Club in the past, I will leave it for 4 stars for now. Hopefully the management and the business owner Barbara will read this and make all of the cons to pros.

Yelp
Honestly the food was absolutely delicious! Possibly even better than the comedy! Nonetheless the staff was very kind and welcoming, unfortunately we sat next to a heckler that would hit on the female comedians and said some awkward things lol. Nonetheless I would definitely recommend this place and would consider coming back for a date night with the wife

Yelp
It's been over 10 years I've been here and notice that the main stage has been upgraded with better seating. The last time I was there, there were just chairs and the stage was facing the other side. I like that there's an outdoor area with a small stage, but there were no performers there when I went on a Saturday night. Though, just be aware that smokers hang out here. From my understanding, Downtown Burbank is a no smoking zone, but someone didn't follow that rule. I have to talk about the bathroom situation here. It's located all the way in the back past the bar area hidden behind a bookcase. I think it's pretty cool, but there's only 1 toilet and when the place is packed, it's very difficult to slither your way all the way to the back and have to wait in a line. There were 4 people in front of me and I was waiting at least 5-10 minutes before I left. They should have placed the restroom towards the front and build out an actual restroom. I understand there is a restroom inside of the big room, but it's a comedy show. With the small space, you know what happens when you get up to go to the restroom in the middle of a show. This is Burbank, so there are a lot of free parking either at the Furniture store across the street or the Mall. There's free WiFi available if you need it. Ordering food/drinks through the QR code at your table and the server will bring it out to you. I think that it's ridiculous they charge $10 for soda. And at a 2 drink minimum, that's pretty outrageous. Despite the pricing here, this is one of the better, cleaner and easier clubs to go to in LA. Parking is a big positive here.

Yelp
Arrived early for Bobby Slayton's show since I always like sitting front and center. Natalie was incredibly helpful prior to doors officially opening. Sold out show, of course. The room was packed. Since we were first in, we also were one of the first to place our food order. Nicki, our server, took good care of us with a touch of humor. Always love the food here. I could actually taste the artichokes in the spinach artichoke dip! Soooo good! And there was a nice layer of cheese melted on top. The Wagyu Sliders hit the mark, as did my mushroom Swiss burger. And what a thick burger! I'm talking the meat itself! Not a thin patty like elsewhere. Perfectly medium rare. I just wish I lived closer!

Yelp
It's frustrating. As a local, I often get emails for comp tickets when they haven't sold enough tickets to a show, so in the past I've been inclined to come. Food prices are high but when you're not paying for the tickets for the comedy, it evens out. Usually there are some good acts - my favorites who swing by frequently include Jimmy Brogan, Kaycee Conlee and Dave Reinitz and though there are a few rare hack-ey ones from time to time, you usually get a good mix of some decent up-and-coming talent. If I were grading just on the talent that comes through, this is definitely a 4-star venue. But because there's a mandatory 2-item per person minimum, you have to consider the whole picture. I've had good service experiences in the past, and a few less than optimal but when I went last night my lid was blown. There is NO MORE SERVICE! I always thought the flapper dresses were cheesy anyway but they're gone. There is literally no reason for any theme-ing at this point. It is generic comedy club #1234 The greeter tells you to scan the QR code at the table. Once you do, you put your order in yourself, and eventually someone dressed in a basic black t-shirt and pants delivers to your table. They don't clear, they don't check in to see how you're doing. ZERO service, just delivery. And for this extra work on your part and the barest of minimum human input from staff, they add an automatic 18% gratuity and default on the online checkout to top it off an extra 5% unless you choose 2%, 10% or custom. Food at Flappers was always pricey and iffy quality at best, now it's exorbitantly overpriced and iffy. I'm not a drinker. I got a Red Bull for $10 (just a can, no glass, no ice). My dinner salad plate held 2 cups of sad, wilted mixed greens with two paper-thin slices of cucumber, two grape tomatoes, two insignificant snips of yellow pepper and a squirt of dressing in a ramekin for $13. Add my hubby's personal-sized pizza and one beer and our check was $71. I get it, food prices are going up all over but they have really blown it out of proportion. I was just there in January and prices have increased at least 30% since then. I understand having the customer pay via phone is better for the comedians because you don't have people running around trying to deal with their bills as the comedian is trying to bring a routine home, but this is frankly gross. I purchased tickets to David Spade in May and I hope they can at least put some thought into improving the food quality if they're gouging the hell out of the customers for it by then. Other than that, I'm frankly done with Flappers.

Yelp
Have been to Flappers several times over the years and was in Wednesday with friends. You can always count on Flappers to have at least one or two awesome lineups a month. One of our favorites is Brad Williams who is somewhat of a regular there. You will laugh your ass off at his humor. The price to get in is reasonable with the standard 2 drink minimum and the service is usually good. A fun place to go and also take out of town guests.
google avatar

Linh B.

Yelp
There's a two menu item minimum here...as are most comedy clubs. The nachos plate was huge! Definitely shareable. Decent food and drinks. Wings are probably my favorite on their menu.

Serenity A.

Yelp
First and foremost, everyone was kind and attentive but this new, scan and order your items is not working very well, at all. I placed my order for a n/a beverage and a pizza at 7:30, we got our drinks but it took over an hour to get the pizza, and only after asking about it's eta. The couple in front of us got their food order as the comedian was ending the show. The show was fun but it was pretty disappointing to have to eat my food quickly and get out (we were being asked to exit for the next show). It used to be managed better. We may be sure to eat prior if we ever decide to come back.

Yelp
You know this was a great night! The waitress was excellent the food very good and the drinks were good too. Jay Leno was incredible doing a very funny and surprisingly long set! I Was very please! The comedians were very fun especially jays writer from The tonight show and a young comedian named David Rosenberg! He was so hilarious at the end of the night! We stayed for the next set. I'll Be back! Yay

Yelp
Came back for another Tony Baker night recently. Flappers doesn't seem to change much over the years except it seems like the squeeze even more chairs in now. If you are claustrophobic in the slightest you will definitely be uncomfortable with how close you are to others. The food is fine but nothing spectacular. We ordered the mini burger sliders and veggie pizza and for drinks, a Moscow mule and cosmo. Service was much better in comparison to our last visit. Overall a better visit than last time, just a tad uncomfy with how closely packed they had us all. Food is average, but the comedians are what bring us down to Flappers regardless. 3.5 stars

Yelp
Was looking for a comedy club without going into Hollywood. Flappers is located in a great area with lots of dining options and shops. Was extremely disappointed in the lack of organization from the entrance to when doors opened. The girl at the door didn't provide any details about the shows on the various stages. Other than providing times, she was no help. Then, when show time came, there were no announcements or directions. You just congregate in the tiny, dark, bar, or the outdoor patio, or the lounge lobby where there's no seating or room to walk through the crowd. You could tell people were confused too. You really can't tell where to stand or which door you enter for the various stages. The restroom in the bar wasn't working so we had to go outside and use the restroom in another area of the building that you entered from the outside. The warmup comics were good and the main show was too, but Sadly, I probably won't return. I look for the complete experiences and overall, it left me unimpressed.

Yelp
Flappers is a great venue to spend time with friends and to fill your belly with laughs (and GREAT food!) I've come here a couple of times to see Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman for Hollywood Babble-On and it's always been a great experience! Parking is easy to find (nearby structures, usually free). Seating: Once you arrive you are given a laminated card, and the time you get there usually determines if you get a good seat, so come early! The one teeny-tiny complaint I have is that the seating is not spaced to comfortably sit American adults... lol I did the "Excuse me" dance a couple of times on my way to the restroom as I pac-man'ed my way through tables and chairs. That is the only reason why I removed a star. Eats: You wouldn't expect comedy clubs to have great food, but somehow, Flappers is the exception! The Truffle fries are probably the best I've ever had, and their pizza? So good. Their coffee could use some work though, I wasn't too happy with it (Sorry! I'll just get a redbull next time to keep me awake for the drive back home.)

Yelp
I was so pleased with this amazing club. I went with my husband and son. We had a wonderful evening and laughed at all the comedians. We talked about it all night and then went home. Thank you Corey Holcomb for your engaging comedy!

Yelp
We saw Jay Leno on Saturday. He was excellent! Parking is free at the mall and it's right across the street. Ordering on the QR code wasn't too bad. Food and drinks were amazing! Kudos to the bartender and chef. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is Casey the opening act was terrible. More lecturing us on LGQT... identities. I thought we were here to laugh and be entertained? Highly disappointed that this is your opening act. Jimmy should be the only opening act, he was hilarious.

Yelp
This is our third time here at the Flapper's Comedy Club in Burbank. They do a raffle where they get your number and they'll call to comp you tickets every once in a while. We've come on double dates or just alone and we love comedy shows. Tonight we got to see a special show; comedy magic! It was the best of both worlds for me. The show was hilarious and different than their usual. This time we ordered the nachos and the regular burger with fries. They do have a 2 item per person requirement which is why the show is free if you get invited. Every time we have had the food it was delicious but the last two times I also wasn't fully sober so everything tasted much better. This time I was only drinking water though so I was in all my sense and the food was still bomb AND very filling. Costs an average of $50-$60 with no alcoholic drinks and not including tip. ***If you get here early they might sit you in the front like we did-front & center-and beware, you might get picked on or asked questions up here. Eric Eaton was the comedy magician and he left us in awe and made us crack up! He was nice enough to take a picture with me end of the night. Leslie Liao & Fransisco Ramos were hilarious as well but there time was short because they were openers and I would've loved to hear more from each. It was a very fun date and the employees are friendly and the best part is 90% of the comedians are great.

Yelp
I've been coming in for years. And I've always had a great experience. Especially when it comes to the food. However tonight I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which looked very appetizing. But to my unpleasant surprise they were out of spaghetti. Really?? Out of spaghetti? Is spaghetti some super exotic rare delicacy that is difficult to keep in stock? I don't think so. I always thought it was fairly basic easy to store staple. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's a world wide shortage of pasta. I should have offered to go the store and buy some spaghetti for them. Obviously it's not the end of the world for not having spaghetti. But it is incredibly lame and there's excuse for it. I hope their kitchen staff gets it together before my next visit. Because I will order it again.

Yelp
Just came back for a special event. Ambience is welcoming and happy. The servers are all friendly and helpful. Food came in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. I orded the steak pizza and my partner had the BBQ chicken pizza and Buffalo wings. Zero complaints or notes. Left feeling refreshed and cheeks a little sore from laughing. Great line up! Thank you for all your great work Flappers! Ps the cookies!!!!

Yelp
Good venue! In my opinion, it might even be one of the best comedy club's in the country for the value. Here's my take... - Food is a little pricey and not the best quality (think Denny's but perhaps worse). - Every once in a while they have great comedians like Jay Leno...but mostly a bunch of open micker's that think they'll make it but unfortunately chances they will are slim. - Then there's Josh the booker, he's a no talent comedian but nevertheless ,here every night punching down at the open mick's.

Yelp
Waiting to see Jay leno. The food is so yummy and we like their drinks. The customer service is great also. Cant wait to see the comediens start

Jenny B.

Yelp
3.5 Stars. I enjoyed the show. But the food took too long to arrive. Don't ever order the Artichoke 'Wings' they are just grease and no flavor. Disgusting. They should take it off of the menu. There was a little too much merch promoting by the comedians on stage. Though Steve Hoftetter was the headliner, he gave most of the time (lack of material?) to the three warm-up comedians who I actually would like to have heard more from. I especially enjoyed Georgia Warder.

Yelp
Pretty neat venue specializing in stand up comedy. Seating is first come based upon the hostest placement. We were a party of two so we were placed in the front. We saw Jay Leno in the larger theater. He was pretty cool. There is a two item minimum purchase per person. Mixed drinks run about $18.00. Appetizers are between $10-$20.00. If I had to choose, I'd go with the pita plate with fresh veggies and hummus. Our seating neighbors ordered it and it looked absolutely delicious. Parking is free in one of the lots.

Yelp
I've been to flappers many times before but on this trip we decided to leave a review. Our seats were one of the best in the house, we got seated in the middle back, perfect view of the front and the seats were comfier and more private than most people had. We loved the little table lamps, you turn it off to get service, and when they are on they have multiple light settings. Keep it dim for a more intimate vibe or turn it up to see your table better. We got a drink called the kissed something, it was good but the best part for me was the French fries! They had what might have been one of the best plain French fries I've ever had. They were so crunchy and delicious, I even ordered them with no salt and they still had a natural flavor to them, I dipped them in honey mustard and, I just couldn't get enough. I didn't really enjoy the first act, but they do usually save the best for last anyway, or at least you would think right? There was a super old guy on the second act and he was one of the funniest comedians I've gone to see live in person before, never heard of him before but he killed it. Our whole table was cracking up! Jay Leno was funny too, he has his moments. His performance was the longest one and the middle of his show was the best part where we laughed the most. We still actually preferred the second comedian even over the headliner Jay Leno!

Yelp
Just Go. I've been here twice and it's been fantastic both times. LA has some amazing talent, the food is reasonable and delicious. Venue is super clean, including the bathrooms and parking can be had in local garages. Leave 5 min to park in a garage and walk, don't bother looking for street parking. Pretzels (warm with mustard) and cheese cake are favorites. Wait staff is fast and curtious, just turn your light off to call them over using the little button on the base. Laughing is the best medicine and Flappers offers a wonderful alternative to the hollywood comedy spots, I'll be back!

Yelp
Flappers is amazing!! The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is good, please note that they ask for a 2 item minimum purchase. Great comics and just a great time! Great parking too, compared to other comedy clubs in LA.

Yelp
I've been taking a stand up comedy class and have been doing some nerve wrecking 5 minute open mics! I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and it's been a blast. I love the vibe and support here. Getting ready for my set at my graduation class and it's so much fun at Flappers! The food is really good too!

Yelp
We went to Flappers to see a friend perform in a comedy showcase type of contest. The tickets were quite cheap which was not surprising given that the evening featured up and coming comics rather than well known comedians. Upon arrival, we were checked in but not seated because the room was not quite ready. They suggested we sit in the bar just outside the room and have a drink. Little did we know, that's when everything started going downhill but more on that later. We had a nice drink at the bar. Shortly thereafter the room opened and we were seated. Since a couple of other people were joining us, we chose a larger table and waited on them to arrive. The server came over to take our drink order and notified us that there is a 2-item minimum per person which I was already aware of. But here's the kicker....the drinks we bought at the bar DID NOT go toward our 2-item minimum!!! What??? No amount of complaining helped so we buckled down and ordered 2 more drinks plus a couple of food items to nibble on. Bottom line...this was a classic bait & switch. They welcome you in with open arms, suggest you go sit at the bar and order a drink, but never tell you that it doesn't count toward your minimum. So we ended up spending quite a chunk of money that night to see a bunch of mostly mediocre comics. Will I return? Probably not unless there is a top-shelf comedian where I can justify spending that kind of money. In the meantime, I'll keep going to Dynasty Typewriter to see great well known comedians perform on a big stage with curtains for a mere $20 per person with no drink or food minimums.

Yelp
The atmosphere was simply amazing. From an environment that encourages conversation between people to funny comedians this was definitely the place to be. I went for Tahir Moore's 40th bday show and I am officially going to come back. Now on to the food, I got the wagyu sliders w/ tryffle fries. The fries were sooo crispy and flavorful that I couldn't stop eating them. The butgers were cool, I forgot to ask them to remove the pickles but they were pretty solid. The prices were pretty reasonable too.

Yelp
Excellent venue for comedy shows, small enough to feel intimate and large enough to build a fun crowd. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The food looks good, so plan to get there early before a show to eat at the bar and save a spot towards the front of the line. I had a burger with truffle fries and both were good. Others at my table had the hummus and that also looked good. I will be back and try the pizzas next time.

Yelp
Flappers is a great night out for Comedy in the city of Burbank there is plenty and I say plenty. There's plenty free parking in the parking lot adjacent to the comedy club, and on the street perimeter for free!!! the hostesses from the door to the ticket sales person , to there customer service over the phone to the waitresses everybody is always so kind and welcoming, I Love that there entire staff is good. but it is not just a comedy club. It is a great place for dinner, a great place to eat. you would think of comedy clubs is just being chicken, wings and fries, but they have full course dinner meals and I've never been disappointed. I was a little disappointed this time I ordered salmon and it was way over cooked but no problem I told the waitress she took it back And it came back 100% better. She even had the chef make a special sauce for me and that was perfect. We ordered onion rings and a steak pizza that my husband described as delicious !! One of the other things that I really love about this place even though they tell you there is a two item minimum, NOT DRINK JUST ITEM . They don't harass you about it like most places, so it makes you feel comfortable and safe. No anxiety if you are not a drinker etc. I love that they say item and not drink. The tickets are reasonable and you get to see some top of the line comics. Never a disappointing date for my husband and I. The A List Comic MARLON WAYANS was the comic of the night and he was awesome. The show was awesome. Flappers is awesome.

Yelp
Truth be told: I didn't want to come here. We were in town and my friends wanted to see Jay Leno. I however have never much liked him, he's super boomer vanilla for me. But off I went because that's where the group went. Luckily I did because I loved this venue! The food was fantastic, drinks were great and I had a fantastic time. The opening acts were stellar! I would definitely go again!

Yelp
Food cold. Beer room temperature. All overpriced. Service ok. If you buy tickets for a show don't arrive until 10 minutes AFTER the start time unless you need to be in the front. There is a cluster of humanity waiting to be seated. Once it starts they are efficient but the crowded waiting area and small bar is a bit of a pain.

Yelp
Thrilled to know about the club and get the opportunity to witness one of the all time greats, Jay Leno. So relatable, funny, didn't take a breath, drink anything, pause, just kept the great stories /jokes coming. ! Can't wait to see him again in March. Service/ wait staff was totally on their game and food was fine.

Yelp
We went to Flappers Friday night to see Jay Leno, sat in the front and had a great time. The most impressive of all the comedians was Kaycee Conlee. Her timing, wit and stage presence. Kaycee was edgy without being filthy and the brilliance of her delivery was amazing. We laughed so hard our cheeks hurt. Jay was excellent as always and his friend Jimmy helped warm up the crowd. The food was better than most comedy clubs with the exception of the fries, the french fries were cooked to perfection and the servers were quick and efficient. There is a lot of food per serving so come hungry or be prepared to take some home. (my wife took half of her pizza home) The serving of nachos might be the second highest peak in California. I think this is the most fun you can have for the price. We are coming back with friends.

Yelp
We arrived early and got a great seat. Had a great time... Entertainment was pretty good, Leno killed it! He put on a great set, longer than we would've thought he would do. Food was okay. Overall, a pretty nice spot and a decent date night.

Yelp
On Monday night, my friend & I decided to have a Girls Night Out! I was given 2 tickets to the Burbank Comedy Festival at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant. Food & Comedy? Yes, Please! We selected the 6PM show, which turned out to be a Sold Out show. Imagine that! Popular place! Fancy Truffle Fries ($9): The items on the menu have super cute names! The truffle fries were absolutely amazing, strong truffle flavor & plentiful! I couldn't finish them all, though I really wanted to! Yum! (There was a limited menu on this night, though still impressive!) Laughing Extravaganza: We saw at least 17 comedians who were on stage for about 5 minutes or so each; quite the variety, as well as a wide range of topics & humor. We laughed ourselves silly! Haha! Each comedian was so different, had their own style & 1 even used an instrument as part of her act! Iced Tea ($6): Refreshing & a wonderful way to cool down, as it was 94° in Burbank! Yikes! Service With A Smile: Our server was incredibly friendly & helpful with the menu. He was also quite attentive & easygoing! Also, there's a two item minimum. Decor/YooHoo Room: Intimate room, low lighting, very moody & draped with red curtains. Flapper dresses are also displayed throughout the room, amongst the tables, chairs and booths! Photos & videos are not allowed to during the show; a nice time to just sit back, relax and enjoy! Score! Atmosphere/Crowd: Friendly, plenty of laughs & easygoing! On our way out, we saw one of the comedians & she said she kept looking our way because we were great! Haha! She was hilarious! Another woman complimented me & said I smelled so good! Super sweet, as well as always nice to know! Haha! Park & Shop: Arrive early for a great seat! I read reviews to park for free at the mall, which is close by. We went shopping both before & after the show! Fun! Overall: What a fun way to laugh the night away, alongside delicious food & drinks! I'd happily go to Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant again in a heartbeat, as it truly was a great time!

Yelp
Fun evening without the hassle. Visited on a Friday. We booked in advance for a big show but it was canceled so we ended up in a small show. No issues parking or dealing with crowds/ lines. The location was convenient with easy parking (free city parking lots). There were a ton a great restaurants nearby but Flappers also serves food. The venue was modern old fashioned (if that makes sense) and clean. The vibe was social and fun. The comedians we saw were all folks pretty much just getting their start in the business. Some were better than others but regardless, it was a fun time and laughs were had. I'd definitely visit again.

Yelp
My wife and I came to this Comedy Club since her brother was one of the comedian on the lineup. I been to Burbank so many times but never stopped by Flappers so it was a new experience. I parked at my usual spot which is the Burbank Police Department public parking, it's a little walk but not too bad because it's easy to get in and out of the place. The email said if you want the best seat then arrive 1 hour early because it's open seating. We arrived about 50 minutes early and checked in at the door but they said they weren't seating yet so we can wait at the bar and they'll announce when seating is open. So the email is totally wrong because you can arrive early but you might not get the best seat. When we were lead into the room at 9pm ish, we were the 2nd group lined up so we got the center table at the Yoohoo room. It's recommended that you order 2 item each from their menu so we did just that. I got a Coke and my wife got a lemonade. For our entrée, we went with the Warm Soft Pretzel Sticks and I asked for the flappy fries but they give me the Farley fries instead. It took about 10ish minute for our appetizers to come out but our drinks never came. So I had to flag down the waitress to let her know and since they ran out of glass cups, we were given our drink in a plastic cups. The food is not that great, it was very salty to us and our drinks were filled more with ice. The comedy show was amazing though, the comedian had about 5 minutes on stage and 1 comedian had 10 minutes but she was very entertaining. It's casual dress here so it's not too strict and they prefer you don't take pictures or videos but I was able to sneak a picture of my wife brother along with taking picture of the food. My score: Atmosphere: 5 star, the Yoohoo room is pretty small but it works well for the environment. Food: 3 star, the appetizers are very salty and somehow they heard the wrong order on my fries. They should invest in a tablet where you can order from your table which should help the process. Parking: 5 star, it's Burbank so there are ton of parking garage, lot and spaces everywhere.
