"Outside of the city center, this winery focuses on mostly wines made with Texas-grown red grapes, such as aglianico and Montepulciano. And then there is its on-site restaurant, the Bistro at Flat Creek, serving up dishes that work well with its wines for brunch, lunch, and dinner, plus three-course wine-paired meals. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury

"This winery, which has a Tuscan feel to it, is best known (appropriately) for its Super Texan Sangiovese, which has been recognized as one of the state's best wines for years. You might also try the Port VIII and Primitivo, alongside a robust food menu that includes a three-course pairing or a la carte options like inventive wood-fired pizzas. Almost anyone can make a day at Flat Creek—in addition to the wine and food there's a disc golf course, and the whole place is kid and dog-friendly." - Mandy Ellis

This winery is such a relaxing spot. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived close to closing time. They have a great wine selection, and I really liked the interiors. The only thing I’d suggest is updating the playlist to better match the ambiance. Other than that, everything was great!

Google
This place is lovely! Great wine, beautiful grounds, excellent wine and lovely staff! We had the best time sitting on the patio and chatting. The food was excellent! Thanks for making our day special, we will definitely be back. (It does rival Napa and Willamette Valley wineries!)

Google
Flat Creek Estate Winery is one of the nicer winery we've had the opportunity to visit in the great state of Texas. It rivals even some of the well established Napa, Temecula or Paso Robles wineries in California. The winemaker claimed Flat Creek Estate to be the oldest winery in Texas, which is not true. That title belongs to Val Verde in Del Rio. The winery has an upscale bistro restaurant on site serving plates from half-chicken to pan pizza. In addition to the nice restaurant, there is a vast open outdoor picnic/seating area with a stage for live music and a smaller cozy outdoor wine tasting space just outside the main bar. We visited Flat Creek Estate while staying in Marble Falls, during their Annual Thanksgiving Festival with vendors on site and a Turkey Shuffle 5k taking place, so it definitely was busier than usual. The wine served is delicious and our favorite is definitely their Super Texan (a play on Super Tuscan).

Google
Our waiter Colton was incredible. So knowledgeable about the wines and vineyard history. So friendly. Super helpful. All his suggestions were great The food was amazing!!!! The ambience better than you can imagine. All the staff super friendly. Colton again. Was jd just terrific. We will definitely be back!

Google
A Perfect Family Spot with Great Wine & Atmosphere This was our third visit to Flat Creek Estate Winery & Vineyard, and it continues to impress every time! The live music adds such a pleasant vibe to the already beautiful winery setting. The scenic views of the vineyard are relaxing and make it a perfect spot to unwind. We really enjoyed their selection of wines, each visit brings something new to appreciate. Also, their fries are surprisingly great and pair well with the wine! It’s such a lovely place to hang out with family, surrounded by greenery and peaceful vibes. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy good wine, good food, and great company. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Google
This place was absolutely fantastic!! Erica is the best wine enthusiast host we had! She explained everything very well. She is definitely one of a kind. Very prompt and fun. As far as the wine goes ……. 12 out 10 for sure can not go wrong with any of them . Whites were my favorite. Food , it all looked delicious . We tried the olive spread with bread and it was delicious. A++++++++ to this entire vineyard especially Erica being truely a wonderful host

Google
Simply fantastic! Superb beyond expectations! Atmosphere, staff, just everything and everyone was amazing! Took my wife and children for Easter Saturday - obviously a busy time - we tried a tasting of several wines and enjoyed every one of them and the live music. At the Bistro restaurant, my wife and I had the Chef's 3 course meal and paired wine tasting that was out of this world ... beyond expectation. The owner even spent time with us and talked with the kids to make sure everyone was enjoying the experience. It was a special experience for everyone and really had fun...will definitely be back!

Google
I had higher expectations for the food, but as other reviews mentioned it seems that the price point doesn't line up at all with the quality. We came during the brunch menu and ordered the spinach cheese dip to start with and I'm not sure what the standard for it is, but I'm truly baffled how both the chef and our server could look at it and decide it should ever leave the kitchen. What little cheese wasn't burned had been reduced to a congealed cottage cheese consistency. It's the first time I've ever sent a dish back. The chef(?) came out at some point after we sent it back and made small talk before going back inside, but never mentioned the dish to either explain or apologise. The server removed it from our ticket but didn't make any suggestions or effort to replace it. The rest of the meal was mediocre. We ordered a medium brick burger that came out well done, the crab Benedict was crab cakes that had very little flavour, the seasonal salad was an underwhelming plain spinach salad with a sprinkling of blueberries and strawberries and a dressing you don't need to write home about, the smoked brisket in the hash didn't taste smoked. Decided against dessert because I didn't want to see if it would match the rest of the experience. Overall I want to rate the food 1/5, maybe 2/5 because the staff are kind. The third star is for the beauty of the vineyard, the music and the quality of the wine. The Super Texas was a little too astringent for my tastes, but the rest of the wines are beautiful and definitely unique. I recommend people should go for the wine, the views and the live music, but eat before you go or stick to the pizzas.

Yelp
Adore this winery!! Honestly had no idea there was a winery like this in this location. The wine tasting is a generous amount that can be split with another person if you drove out there. Lovely place to walk around and explore their butterfly garden and beautiful grounds. They had live music when we visited which was great. Highly recommend!

Nihilaa K.

Yelp
First time visitor here and was surprised we didnt find this gem of a place sooner ! It is 30 mins from cedar park and so much closer compared to Dripping springs and Fredricksburg . Such a beautiful ride here in a cloudy day and the winery also was very pretty inside and outside . The service was good and we had a wine tasting session sitting outside with birds singing in the cute outdoor patio , was super relaxing . The person working there explained each wine so clearly and we loved the whites here, especially the muscat blanc. The fruit and nut and chocolate plate was also so good. This will be our go to winery from now on for a quick visit .

Kelly D.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and outdoor pavilion with live music- wine was okay - good for Texas but doesn't stand up to California wine - $25-35 a tasting with 5 wines. The super Texan (super Tuscan ) was the best of the reds - nice Sangiovese blend - Sangiovese Rose also interesting- Also-had dinner at the restaurant. Greg is an A+ server - very energetic and passionate- this is the kind of employee everyone wants but is hard to find!! He really made the experience special. Strawberry prosciutto pizza was fresh and fun. The Tuna tower was really pretty to look at but actually fairly bland. Made for a great photo! I will be back to try this place again - perhaps for brunch - which is served before 3 pm

Yelp
Flat Creek Winery is a true gem with its stunning grounds that exude natural beauty. The restaurant not only serves delectable dishes but also provides outstanding service, creating a delightful experience. It's the perfect destination to savor delicious wines in a picturesque setting.

Yelp
One of my fav pastimes is visiting wineries. During this trip we visited flat creek estate with my sister in law and mom. The grounds are simply amazing. There is so much seating available inside and outside. We went to tasting room. I had the white and my sister in law had the bubble tasting. I was throughly impressed with the bubble tasting. My fav was the almond as it was not sweet, and full of flavor. The white wines were great! The cuvée blanc was my favorite and the viognier took second place. The pours were good size, enough to really taste the wine and figure out all the notes. We had a cheese board, it was simple good cheeses and meats. Loved the candied pecans--- delish!! They have some great gift bags perfect for holiday gifts!! I almost forgot to mention they have a restaurant as well. We stopped in for lunch, had a pizza and Ceaser salad. Definitely want to come back when I'm in town again!!

Brian C.

Yelp
We came on a Thursday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Tastings weren't open so we just had a couple glasses of wine under the large shaded pavilion overlooking the beautiful grounds. It was very enjoyable with the cool Spring breeze. Not sure what it would be like in July though! We also ordered a strawberry prosciutto pizza and green chile artichoke dip. Both were delicious. Worth a visit. Bring your frisbee golf discs. Looks like they have an epic course, mixed into the vineyards

Ashley L.

Yelp
Came here for my sisters birthday and we had a great time. I recommend making a reservation for a tasting if you plan on that ahead of time. We also made a reservation for the bistro, which I recommend as well. Love the outdoor patio space where the play live music on weekends in the afternoon.

Leslea S.

Yelp
Loved the wine tastings! Food is awesome! Try the pizzas, they are bomb! The grounds are so beautiful it's definitely a place to celebrate

Mel S.

Yelp
Love this winery! We've visited 3 different times from the Houston area and plan to return again soon. They have amazing wines, the Bistro has wonderful food, and we really enjoyed sitting on the pavilion listening to live music with our pups while eating pizza. Totally worth a visit!

David M.

Yelp
Flat Creek Estate is a great Winery in the Hill Country of Texas. It features beautiful scenery plenty of indoor and outdoor dining with a very beautiful interior. It was a little windy the day I went so I sat at the bar. I had the Grand Cuvée wine with a charcuterie board. I really enjoyed my wine it was a white with a little bit of sweetness to it. The meat and cheese was a great pairing to go with my wine. It has a great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about wine.

Carlos D.

Yelp
A beautiful setting for any type of event. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the fresh air of Hillcountry.

Yelp
My daughter gave me the gift of her time, along with a 3-course meal and wine tasting, to honor a special occasion. We decided to make this a weekday outing, to minimize traffic and the possibility of large groups being at the winery. We were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. The dining room was largely empty, and we had superb service. This was our second visit to the winery, and we plan to return. We tasted 7 wines in all, 3 of which were paired with the November menu of panzanella (a bread salad), fennel-crusted pork tenderloin, and cannoli. The wine pairings were excellent. We were not big fans of the panzanella. It seemed to need additional ingredients to make it more interesting and less dry. The main course, however, was fabulous. The pork medallions were crusty and flavorful. The linguine accompaniment was wonderfully garlicky, making it almost possible to ignore that the pasta was overcooked. And the cannoli was excellent. I think of cannoli as a finger food; these mini cannoli were made pretty with their presentation but more messy to eat because of the chocolate sauce. The cannoli were served with a very good port wine. All in all, we had a very nice meal and enjoyed the wines... which we drank. No spitting for us! We are not connoisseurs, but certainly enjoy good quality wine. Some of Flat Creek's are very good indeed. This was not a cheap excursion, but the 2 hours we spent there were worth it. This would be a great place for a romantic date, and also worked well as a mother-daughter excursion. Flat Creek has other dining options that include pizza, and there's a disc golf course on the premises. Do make advance reservations for your visit, as this isn't a large establishment and can be a long (but pretty) drive from the Austin area.

Yelp
This place is great. Under new ownership. The owners... wife and husband are extremely gracious. Food, service and atmosphere are all amazingly delightful. Highly recommend!

Tiffany H.

Yelp
This winery was wonderful to visit! The only downside for my husband and I is that they don't have many sweet red wines, but their other selections are still wonderful! Upon telling the employees that guided us through two separate wine tasting, they offered plenty of selections and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with their advice for what to try. My husband even purchased two of their sparkling wines, the peach and raspberry. They were wonderful to have at home. I recommend visiting this winery to expand your experience tasting, and the view/vibes here are so wonderful. My husband and I ended both tastings by sitting outside enjoying live music in their outdoor patio area.

Ardie S.

Yelp
Great tasting room nestled in the Hill Country just between Marble Falls and Lago Vista. Views from the tasting room of the vineyard and the grounds are absolutely spectacular. Tastings on the day I visited were capably conducted by Adam. He's extremely friendly and cordial. We actually shared two tastings between us. My friend bought a mixed case of various sparkling wines. And I bought a bottle of the Sparkling Raspberry myself. While tasting reservations are requested, the reality is that we were there at opening and there was no wait. If there is a quibble it's that the indoor tasting room is not furnished to accommodate longer visits. Maybe that's what the restaurant next door is for but it's way too hot to take a glass outside and enjoy it at this time of year. My advice to you would be to wait until fall when the Texas furnace that's called outdoors is off.

Chenelle W.

Yelp
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon up in the hills of Austin. Nestled between the trees, this beautiful winery affords tasting in a cellar, pavilion, or restaurant setting. My party and I chose the restaurant setting due to the heat. While we did not make reservations, I strongly encourage making them due to the possibility of no indoor seating being available. Once seated we enjoyed three 2oz tastings of their Italian grape wines. They have a nice variety for red, white, or sparkling lovers. The food choices varied from your normal charcuterie to brick oven pizza. We enjoyed the "Emma" pizza which had bacon, mushrooms, Alfredo, spinach, and red wine vinaigrette. Nothing short of amazing. I also enjoyed the garlic and herb mussels with French fries. The fries had truffle on them...also...dip your fry in the mussel garlic sauce...thank me later. This outing was special because it brought friends together yet I feel as though this visit was made so much more special by 'Neil, owner of this establishment. Neil was so kind, hospitable, and generous. He made food recommendations ( strawberry pizza), explained the wine differences, and made my group feel like old friends in the short time we were there. Also of note was Sherri in the cellar tasting area who was so pleasant and sweet. I didn't get to stay with my group due to me having to drive back to Houston, but I'm sure they enjoyed her company as well. Thank you so much for making our small group feel like family!

Ben T.

Yelp
Stopped here on the way from Dallas to San Antonio as a start to our long weekend getaway. I tend to be a wine snob but have to say that their Pinot Grigio was delicious and their strawberry salad and margheritta pizza were spot on. We came during the week so we had the place to ourselves for a while and it was exactly what we were looking for. Chilling on a vineyard drinking some great wine, eating delicious food and making memories. Will definitely be back with friends.

Kelcei Y.

Yelp
Had such a great time! Went for brunch and wine tasting. The food was delicious and the strawberry vodka drink was strong and tasty. At the wine tasting, Amy was so kind and really helped us with some great picks. Would definitely return!

Mark T.

Yelp
My wife a I have been "craving" thin crust pizza ever since Casa Nostra and Flat Creek Enoteca both closed, so we bit the bullet and drove out to the Flat Creek Winery and Vineyard last weekend. We ordered our usual pepperoni pizza and where sadly disappointed that they went from that beautiful homemade flatbread to a food service frozen pizza crust. It's not even a good frozen crust on top of it, but yet they are charging a premium price for it. I hope to God when they finally get around to reopening the Enoteca (getting renamed the Brick) they start making their flatbread crust again. If they don't and continue to use inferior frozen pizza dough, I won't be wasting my money by going there.

Yelp
I've been going to Flat Creek Winery for years. It is a destination I love to take out of town visitors to. Besides the beautiful grounds, their wine reflects the unique terroir of that area--both whites and reds. I've always felt they grow the best grapes for their area and are more original than most of the other Texas wineries. And there is always delicious food available which makes whiling away the hours at the winery easy to do. Flat Creek has changed ownership since I've been going there and in my opinion is just getting better and better. I've actually dropped my other Texas wine club memberships and am only keeping my Flat Creek wine club membership. It is convenient to the Austin/central Texas area and also has lots of events to keep the community engaged (and happy).

Pat S.

Yelp
We have been going to Flat Creek Winery for years and really enjoyed the pizza and wine. loved the drive also. Went there today, the wine we used to buy is no longer available in the outside area and the pizza recipe is completely different (nowhere near as good) Why make these changes???

Jennifer C.

Yelp
I wish I could give 3.5 stars! Overall, I had a nice time here. We did "the grape experience" for 2 people which included wine flights for both of us and a pizza each. Payed $80 not including tax + tip left on site. When we purchased online, the description said one pizza per 2 people and 2 salads but when we arrived we were given a pizza each so we had lots of leftovers :) Pizza was just okay, nothing special. Salad was really good! It was probably my favorite part of the meal. I didn't love the wines I tried, but I do tend to go for sweeter wines and these were all pretty tart. Overall, I had a nice time and the staff were all very nice.

Jeff N.

Yelp
Our party of 4 visiting from the Chicago area. We booked a 3 course meal and wine tasting. Our server Katie was well versed and very personable. The founder of the winery, Madelyn, visited our table and we chatted for quite a while. Great plans for the future! Our meal was incredible. One person in our party said it was the best meal she has ever had. That is quite a statement! We asked to see the chef. Executive Chef Shawn graciously accepted our kudos and applause. We walked the property and will always remember the great experience and fabulous property views. Well done!

Scarlett T.

Yelp
First time visiting Flat Creek Estate Winery & Vineyard for a girls trip and I must say I've fallen in love with this place! The view is soo special and beautiful! This zenful place is a hidden treasure located in marble falls, texas. It's a short drive here from our rental condo located on lake Travis (about 34 mins). We had made reservations online to do the wine tasting and it was a really reasonable price! Outside there is freezbie trap game you can play. There is different tasting and dining package deals you can do. I best recommend you make reservations versus just a walk in for tasting because according to the manager it does get very busy. The hall were you do the dining and wine tasting is beautiful! There's plenty of tables and chairs. There's large windows you can overlook and see the vineyards. Their wine is good and I ended up getting a couple bottles to bring home. :) Even though this was a girls trip, I really think this place can be a romantic intimate date and/or perfect proposal place! It's nice and memorable! Staff is really attentive and knowledgeable! We will be back here again!!!

Mattie H.

Yelp
some friends were visiting me so we went for brunch on a sunday and it was SO great! the waitstaff was so nice and they even gave me a free sample of red wine. i ordered a mimosa, charcuterie board for the table, and the brisket hash. my friends got the chicken salad sandwich, the chicken sandwich, and the croque madame! all were delicious- the chicken sandwich was especially great because the chicken was super moist. highly recommend!

Shelly L.

Yelp
We celebrated our 3-year anniversary with the 3-course meal and wine pairings at Ellera. The food and service were fabulous. The panna cotta was the perfect ending to our meal. This has been our go-to weekend destination since we moved out to Lago Vista. We always enjoy our experience every time we visit.

Hank B.

Yelp
OMG, the people are fantastic. The service was excellent and friendly. Sit back and enjoy the view, music, and wine. The wine tasting was wonderful. Our tour of the wines with Chantelle was a wonderful experience, and we learned a lot. and The owners Neil and Eva Horton came by and spent a lot of time visiting with us and making us feel welcome. I recommend this beautiful destination.

Yamilett R.

Yelp
We came here on a whim. What a great surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the wine and the atmosphere. Our waiter, Audin, did a great job of describing the wine and food options and made sure the person with the onion and garlic allergy was taken care of. We will definitely return. Thank you for making our time there so enjoyable.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Visited the winery's bistro, Ellera, while staying overnight in Marble Falls. The food was amazing! We had the salmon, tomato risotto and brussel sprouts. The salmon was tender, with a crispy sear. The brussel sprouts were some of the best we've ever had. The wine selection was good and we enjoyed two of their different reds (can't remember the names as I write this) The winery itself is also very beautiful and has a disc golf course for people who prefer to be more active

Susan H.

Yelp
Without advertisement their dining room has been under construction for 3 weeks. My twin sister was in town from out of state and this was a must for us to visit, as we have had such good experiences in the past. This time, it was less than enjoyable. I do not ever want to be a Debbie-Downer, but I think there was more that should've been done if not providing your customers with the ambiance they expect given dinner at a winery. They first put us in a plastic tent with old table/chairs, no view, and no ac. I decided if I was going to be warm I might as well sit outside and get a better view and better seating! Then, we had to walk up to a counter to order, we were given pizza that was uncooked/no flavor/like a cracker, and then they forgot to give us waters so I repeated a visit to the counter for water and was handed warm water bottles. The best part was the wine (and company), but that's all that was part of the previous experiences.

Sharon S.

Yelp
Had a wonderful wine tasting with Clarissa! Very knowledgeable and the wine was fabulous. Will definitely come back again!

Yelp
We had our 11th Anniversary Party in the Private Tasting Room. Everybody had the Tasting and Bites. I can't thank the them enough for making our party spectacular. Food, Service, Wine and ambience is great. We have been out there several times and love the place. We are members of their wine club and enjoy going out there for wine pickup.

Katelyn G.

Yelp
I chose this winery for my husband and I, because I found the "Grape Escape," and it was seemingly a perfect choice. A full tasting + a glass of your favorite from the tasting + a pizza to share. (And I sprung for the custom-label bottle to go with it!) It was $40 a person -- closer to $45 each at checkout with fees and what not -- which I already thought was ridiculously well-price for what you get. But then, they blew us away with the location, service, quality, and overall experience. The tasting wasn't just a cookie-cutter preset selection. Our "experience guide" asked us what flavors we preferred and talked us through multiple options for our tastes. It was awesome! Now, I'm not a wine aficionado by any means, but our guide was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. And I enjoyed all of the options he brought to the tasting for us. (My experience was that all of the wines were quite unique in flavor, and the tasting consisted of lots of new wine-types I'd never even heard of!) Then, icing on the cake: getting to pick a favorite to have a full glass of! *chef kiss* The pizza ended up coming with a starter salad as well, which was a nice surprise. The food was delicious. Well made, not over-the-top, but rather just enough to satisfy our bellies and our palettes. After finishing up with the Grape Escape, my husband and I went for a walk around the property on a trail that leads you around the vines and gives some awesome views. This was arguably my favorite part. The property is huge and gorgeous! But, it was a gloomy and COLD February day when we visited, so we will definitely be back to see the property in bloom and in warmer weather.

Linda C.

Yelp
I had such ab amazing experience at Flat creek this past weekend and definitely recommend them on your next visit to Austin. They were able to accommodate me and my family at very short notice. Mackenzie help is and was very knowledgeable during our tasting and I will definitely be back.

Viviana M.

Yelp
AJ and Adam were the best hosts and the wine is amazing. I bought a bottle of Montepulciano. The estate is gorgeous. Also great brunch and live music. It's located in Marble Falls. Thank you Flat Creek Estate-Viv

Ileana P.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Totally worth it to do the tasting, food was amazing and the employees provided above and beyond expectation. All were so knowledgeable, gave great suggestions for the pairing with dinner. Can't wait to come back

Lisa M.

Yelp
Yes please choose the appropriate experience for your family, because apparently my family did not ‍ we ate outdoors at the pavilion, there was no wine tasting involved....My advice this place is not family friendly, possibly they aren't even friendly.......really we did not know that disc golf was available for children under 12, this might have been something that was mentioned to us when we asked what do you have that it family friendly. In addition your apology seems very condescending & not genuine at all. How do you know that what we were envisioning? We just wanted to have a nice time with our grands, and we were talked down to, and you're still talking down to us....

Maryam S.

Yelp
Claire was absolutely amazing! She was personable and made our time fun and enjoyable!

Dave H.

Yelp
A hidden gem in the hill country with beautiful grounds, friendly staff and an amazing array of wines and dishes. We tried the 3 course chef's dinner. We started with wine tasting followed by a spectacular wine pairing with each course. We hadn't really considered Texas wine as equivalent to Calif wines but we were wrong. All of the wines we sampled were great and because of that we ended up heading home with 14 bottles! The owner even stopped by to ask us about our experience which we gladly shared. Definitely worth experiencing this adventure.

Dennis S.

Yelp
Covid/"reopening" June review. Signage not great, and cell reception can be spotty, so be sure to download the map to your cell phone in advance. Beautiful location and building. Plenty of parking. Inside tables by reservation only. Nicely separated, no issues being close to other guests. Not the same for reception or table service. Server was pleasant, but had zero concept of social distancing, no mask and was right in our faces each time we had an interaction. Menu/tasting a little confusing. Basically you prepay $40 each and get whatever you want from the menu, including wine to drink there or to go. Most wines were available for tasting pours, but not all. Some wines good, some not so much. Liked the primitivo the most of the many we tried. Very nice for the setting and service. Great set up for limited capacity, but they really need to work on wait staff protection.

Kirk W.

Yelp
I thought I had reviewed Flat Creek back when we first went there not long after they opened but I just realized that I hadn't, so better late than never. Flat Creek is a special place for us as we saw the sign for it during our Miata club drive back in 2007. I contacted them a few days later, set up a tasting for the club, a bunch of us drove out there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The vineyard itself and the architecture are fantastic, and it has grown a lot since they opened. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, the food was always tasty, they have a lot of fun events, and the wines are truly delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we kept going back, became friends with the owners, and got married there in 2011. Flat Creek was very accommodating as we wanted it to be on a specific date that was the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and they made it work. Our wedding video showcases the vineyard extremely well so if you want to watch it, you can click here. https://vimeo.com/34645652 We are biased of course, but our friend did an amazing job on it and we love to revisit it.

Esteban G.

Yelp
Excellent wine tasting and ambiance. Would definitely return. Every wine they served was tasty. Plenty of events.

Paul R.

Yelp
A large group of us (14) arrived on a beautiful Sat afternoon to celebrate a very special event. From start to finish we were treated like kings and queens. As you can surmise from previous reviews Flat Creek is a beautiful winery/estate that, surprisingly, offers a variety of wonderful wines that should satisfy even the most discriminating wine aficionado. I'm not a fan of Texas wines as I find them to be weak on the body/ finish even after properly aerating so I steeled myself for another ho-hum tasting similar to what I've experienced on previous tours of wineries on the way to Fredericksburg. Yea that's a run-on sentence. We began our journey with their 6 sample wine tasting. I must say each wine brought us immense happiness. Their white wine was surprisingly oaky with a smooth finish. I'm not a white wine guy but I can certainly envision sipping this wine chilled while quaffing a cheese platter. I waited patiently for their Super Texan reds to arrive. My favorite was the 2015 Super Texan. It had a great spicy finish that I believe would open up wonderfully. We ordered their cheese plates and pizza and they were a perfect accompaniment during our tasting. Their grounds are beautiful and you are missing out if you don't explore, with a glass of wine in hand. Take the ride it is well worth it! 10 Stars!!!!

Yelp
Came here on the spur of the moment with my family without a reservation. We were a big group of 12 people total. The management and owners were so kind and respectful. They tried to accommodate us as best as they could and we all had a great time. Highly recommend.

Yelp
A hidden gem! We enjoyed a pizza and salad and a couple glasses of their Syrah in their outdoor covered area that looks out over their beautiful property, exceptional! We did some wine tasting and bought a bottle to go, everyone was so friendly and we absolutely loved the entire experience. Highly recommend visiting this wonderful winery and experiencing their excellent food, wine and service.

Yelp
If this were only a review about the disc golf course, it would be a 5. 4 stars when the bistro food is considered. I'm not too knowledgeable about wine, so leaving it out of my review. The property is beautiful, and the bistro is nice. I'll be back many times for the disc golf course. It is a well manicured professional grade 18 hole course that winds through the estate. It offers a nice mix of holes including some good distance, water hazards, trees, and elevation changes. I purchased a disc golf season membership for $60 which gets me free green fees, and 5% off any bottle purchases. I can't wait to come back! All I need to do is find a good swimming access at nearby Lake Travis, and I have my summertime day trip spot locked down. Note about the food we tried: We ordered a pizza, which was good; however the $5 charge to add mushrooms was not das. Also, the gouda shrimp alfredo did not taste very gouda-y and the sauce was broken, the butter had separated from the cream. The cheese board that we concocted was the best thing we tasted.

Yelp
We would give them 10 stars if allowed. Relaxing setting, good food, super friendly owner and staff. If we lived closer we would visit often. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Yelp
My 3 girlfriends and I met up in Marble Falls for a girl's weekend out. Found Flat Creek Winery online and booked tickets for the tasting and 3-course dinner. The grounds and building are immaculate. The wines were great (I bought 3) and the food was awesome too! I am a hard critic when it comes to food as I went to culinary school and consider myself to be a foodie, but I was NOT disappointed in the creative menu we were served. I have to mention the lemon blueberry cheesecake was made from scratch and you could tell.....it was amazing! The lady who owns the place is from Iowa and was SO gracious and nice! There was another lady from Iowa that served us who was equally as wonderful, and a young man named Cord was also a server who patiently and knowingly answered all our questions. Incredible service!! Afterwards, we did a 10 minute wine tour (which is perfect) with a lady that was very animated, entertaining and seemed to enjoy working there for now 20 years! That says something about this place. All in all, it was a phenomenal experience that I would absolutely repeat if I am ever in that area again. Thank you to all that made my friend's and my experience so perfect.

Yelp
We have been going to Flat Creek for years. Loved the previous owners, but love the new owners as well. We usually spend the whole afternoon there - especially if it is a beautiful day. Dine-in (reservation recommended), stroll the property, have a glass of wine at the tasting room and/or sit out and enjoy the day at the pavilion. Food and drink are offered at the tasting room and pavilion as well.
