Flat Iron Hammersmith

This was my first time at Flat Iron, and it did not disappoint! Now I understand why it’s so popular. The welcome popcorn was a nice touch—perfectly buttery and salty. The lemonade was refreshing, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were delicious as well. To top it off, the soft-serve ice cream they offer before you leave was a delightful surprise. Overall, a great dining experience—I’ll definitely be back!

This chain steakhouse is located on Hammersmith High Street, just a 5mins walk from the underground station, making it very convenient and easy to find. The atmosphere in this branch is nice and cozy. I ordered the flat iron steak with homemade smoked chili mayo, along with sides of homemade beef dripping chips and creamed spinach. For a drink, I chose the rose lemonade, and the quality of both the food and drinks was quite good. Of course, I couldn’t resist finishing off with a dessert (a free treat) to wrap up the meal:)

Kudos to the kitchen team! Each steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were absolutely delicious, especially the bone marrow garlic mash—it’s truly something special. We love that Flat Iron offers complimentary popcorn upon arrival and treats you to free ice cream when you leave. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you’re never rushed to leave. The pricing is very reasonable and we'd definitely come back.

Lovely steak and sides as usual in a Flat Iron restaurant. Chips are always crispy and freshly made. It’s a free treat so not a problem but I would prefer a proper ice cream (like they do in Covent Garden) rather than a soft serve 🙂

We absolutely love the Flat Iron in Hammersmith. Having been with the family many times now, it never disappoints. The food is great and the service/management is impeccable… always! Today was no exception and Julia served us with a smile and great efficiency. Would recommend and we will definitely go back!

Fab service, seated by ben a real asset to the restaurant, all staff really friendly, steaks Great and fast to table. Who doesn't love free pop corn to start and ice cream to finish.

The food was excellent and staff was very helpful and polite. We had the flat iron steak with the truffle cheese macaroni and it was delicious. In addition to that, the free popcorn upon arrival and vanilla ice cream when we left was an extra bonus.

Lovely staff, and place from the moment We arrived looked after to a very high standard. Food was lovely, atmosphere very chill and great place to be…… will be back for sure and very soon. And to top of the visit a free ice cream on the way out. Great experience and excellent value for money
