A top quality fine art printing facility and gallery. The visible gallery hardly scratches the surface of the art that's available. I visited with friends on a quiet Saturday afternoon, and though the gallery is well worth visiting on it's own, we were shown many excellent pieces in flat drawers which weren't on display. We were also able to walk through the large, well organized room where the printing happens, and it's filled with interesting machinery and tools of the printing craftperson's trade. It a unique place and all of the artwork, displayed or not, is available for purchase. Whether one might need high quality printing, or high quality artwork, Flatbed Press is a rewarding place to check out.

Flatbed Press is one of the true gems of Texas. If you’ve ever wondered about printmaking or art in general, stop by and view their gallery. Katherine and Mike and the rest of the crew can tell you some amazing stories and show you some of the most beautiful art you will ever see—and I’m not exaggerating. And if you are a printmaker, this is your Mecca and your Valhalla. It’s a truly wonderful place.

Flatbed is an amazing part of what makes Austin so special. They showcase a large assortment of talented and well-known printmakers, and work closely with the artists to make sure each work is perfect. Katherine Brimberry, the owner, is incredibly sweet as well as knowledgable, and works closely with her small, hardworking team to create an enriching experience for visitors and artists.

Flatbed Press is one of my favorite places to visit, in person and online. It’s an Austin masterpiece in itself, inviting the community to be inspired and engaged in the world of fine art and supporting great artists in the process.

I found out about this gallery when I was reading reviews for near by places. The gallery is in an industrial park. This is a gallery dedicated to printmaking. The artwork is for sale and prices range from $125 -$4K. I saw various items which I absolutely loved. They offer classes and internships here as well as studies abroad classes in Italy.
